What a great place. We stopped in and felt we entered someone's living room. The view and wine were amazing. Will make this a stop at all times.

If you like watching whales from a wine bar in a beautiful and historic building then this place is for you! The owner meticulously curates only the best wines for you to choose from and fancy snacks to go with them. There's also a wine shop with a range of bottles at a range of price points. You won't be disappointed.

This review comes from someone who simply sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple Sangrias and just talked to the owner and her family. The establishment is just simply homely. The main entrance leads you to a relaxing sitting/dining area with a wonderfully placed decor that just makes it all too welcoming. The interior architecture is rather enjoyable. The stairs lead down to where the bar and further seating resides. Along the walls you’ll find posters of theatre works that pay homage to the owner’s other love and chosen work. I cannot stress the smoked salmon. Every single person who mentioned the place practically salivated over mentioning the smoked salmon. And If they happen to be serving Quiches, I highly recommend them as well! There’s much to enjoy and try while there and much to learn about the story regarding the making of the place. Additionally, the owner hosts an Airbnb in the place for a really good price considering the area. So if you want a nice home to stay in for your visit look into it!

What an absolutely charming and inviting place! Very nice selection of wines by the glass. Limited food menu but the charcuterie was among the best I've ever had and I make some pretty darn good charcuterie myself! 😉 I especially appreciated the local cheeses on offer! Even though I landed in the middle of a pirate festival, I felt welcome everywhere!☠️

This place is the sparkling gem of Eastport’s food and beverage desert. The wines, snacks and ambiance are all on point at this charming, clean, comforting, chill spot. Comfortable living room style with a view, cards and books or more traditional seaside tavern vibe? Your pick. Hungarian wine(new experience)? Check. Toasted sourdough with salmon spread? Check. Cheese and charcuterie board that can and did serve as dinner one night? Check check! Thank you for your wonderful contribution to this charming town.

Delicious, crisp Prosecco. Tasty Elderflower Tonic from Fever-Tree for the tea-totaler! Wonderful cheese board consisting of 6 or 7 aromatic & delicious cheeses from a local cheesemaker. Also, a succulent plate of "hot-smoked" salmon from another very local producer, Mainely Smoked Salmon. All this while enjoying a huge view of the Eastport Breakwater / Pier - where a large Navy ship was docked in preparation for the 2023 July 4th celebrations.

Knowing that everything is typically closed by 7-8pm, I was thrilled to find this gem open "late". Warm, inviting, local vibe with an incredibly knowledgeable owner, it has the atmosphere of a local Irish pub with people singing and bantering. I had a single glass of wine, cheese board (all from nearby farm), and used the wifi to catch up on work. Drink a glass or pick up a bottle for your own evening in.

We stumbled upon this wine shop while exploring Eastport on a rainy day. They have a beautiful selection of wines that the owner has thoughtfully selected. The wine bar space is also a perfect place to enjoy a glass, some nibbles and gaze out to the bay!

This is a wonderful place to go and have a glass of wine, chat with people, or sit with your special someone and just watch the bay while enjoying wine and snacks. There are also special events- music, trivia games, singing. It's just a wonderful place.

Great atmosphere and drink selection! You will not only find an array of wines but great selection of ciders too. There is a sparkling tea to die for if you do not want to drink alcohol! We had every single board available and they are all great!

This is hidden gem in a gem of a town!! The locals were at this charming wine bar and the owner, Laura was unbelievable knowledgable not only about wine, but other drinks as well. Her recommendations were spot on and we had such a fun night there!

An absolutely fantastic and unique selection of wines in a gorgeous location. Wish we had something like this in Connecticut!

We were drawn into Phoenix Fine Wines, a wine bar, not only by the name but the Celtic band music inviting us in. As we enter, we are greeted by the energetic and friendly owner Laura and the Celtic trio; we were in the right place. We quickly settle in the cosy chairs just near the band and floor-to-ceiling windows with a glass of red and enjoy the backdrop of the ever-changing tides of Passamaquoddy Bay, the building has been designed with this in mind, and you can quickly while away the afternoon. We also ordered the cheese platter; all food products are sourced from local producers, including the cheese being sourced from the local animals too. They have a selection of wines by the bottle, glass and small snacks available. We love supporting local businesses and are also thrilled when they do too. The wine bar is like stepping back in time, although it was only opened this July. The Irish folk music transports you back 100 years whilst relaxing in the beautiful wooden surroundings and antique furniture; think of an old mansion library, surrounded by books to peruse too. Huge glass pane windows with an everlasting view across the waters, music, atmosphere, comfort and smiles from the lovely owner, accompanied by great food and wine all wrapped up in one. She has the formula just right. The locals were all very welcoming and loved to hear the story of our cruise and travels. We were grateful to have spent the afternoon in a beautiful wine bar to escape the rain and build memories of our visit to Eastport. Thank you for having us 🙏
