The one tray I ordered was so generously portioned that I thought it was a bit. Just delicious.

All the locals were here talking about how this is the best spot to get Pierogies in Pittsburgh. They've been there 35 years! We enjoyed this different type of food.

Great pierogies. Served steamed or boiled, not browned, but very tasty and filling. Also had the kielbasa and a crab cake both delicious. The haluski was made with an egg noodle instead of a dough pressed through a haluskar; it was good but I prefer a thick dumpling type noodle, but the flavor was good.

Food is bland, and the bread they use is a soggy mess. Styrofoam (who uses styrofoam?) containers of halushski were broken on the bottom. Masked woman at the counter taking orders was rude and clearly hates her job. On top of all that, its very overpriced.

We were visiting from Virginia. I called that morning to place an order for 14 bags of pierogies so we could bring them back to Virginia. I advised that I would be there later that afternoon to pick them up and I was told on the phone ... no problem at all. I arrive at the time that I told them and the clerk told me they only had six bags for me. She said that I was told when I called that they may not have enough for me. That is a complete lie. I have four witnesses that heard the call as I had them on speaker and I promise you, I was never told that. In addition, the clerk was not apologetic at all and actually cold and ignorant. You can't even walk in their building - only talk through a little window. It was just a bad experience, and I will be purchasing my pierogies elsewhere. They need to learn some customer service. All that said, their pierogies are very good (the reason why I wanted 14 bags to take home with me in the first place).

We stopped here to try some REAL pierogies while we were in PA as my Girlfriends Dad has always told us that the pierogies from the store back home were nothing compared to what we'd find in PA. Boy was he right. These were amazing! We purchased some of every kind available on the menu and ate the heck out of them! Good, hot, and honestly not too pricey. My favorite was the sour kraut pierogies. I'll definitely be back sometime!

I took one bite of each and tossed. Everything was drowned in some type of oily sauce. Not sure why they good reviews. Service was no good, wait super long and food was meh.

First time here! Basic Polish comfort food at a reasonable price. When I lifted up the pierogis there was a lake of butter and onions underneath, in which I made sure to dip every bite. The kielbasa was top shelf, lean, sweet and not too salty. I'd say that the place lives up to its reputation.

So my friend is from the area and said I had to try pierogies from this place. I've had her pieroguies, so I said sure let's go." This place is right off a busy road, and the parking lot was extremely packed. The lady taking orders was taking one guest at a time and making their order then when their food was done she would take the next customer so I group couldn't even eat together and it took quite some time. You have to order the specialty ones in advance, so I was sad I couldn't have any of those made hot. When our food did arrive, they were just completely drowning in butter sauce, and they weren't too great. The kalbasa was okay. We all got plate #3, and it was alright. It didn't live up to the hype the reviews I read gave it.

When you go to an ethnic restaurant and you hear the workers speaking Polish you know that you are at a GREAT restaurant. I had the stuffed cabbage and pierogi. This was a stellar value for around $10. They have hot take out, food that you can buy and cook at home, and a few tables that you can eat your carry out food at. They are just a minute off of PA Route 51 and the Ohio River. I came in July of 2023.

Service is terrible. Waitress is too worried about socializing with fellow servers and cooking staff then taking care of the customer. Food that was cooked was good but the fries weren’t cooked all the way through. We didn’t even go during a busy time. My wife and daughter went to the car to hopefully show that we are ready to leave and I had to wait an additional 30 minutes waiting for the waitress to take my payment. She was again too busy talking to the other waitresses. A member of the cooking staff walked into the dinning area and started to smoke on his vape and flirt with the bartender. Not a good experience.

Well today that changed and we stopped by and picked up cold pierogies, onion sauce, soups, stuffed cabbage, and potato dumplings to take back to our Airbnb downtown Pittsburgh to heat up for dinner. The woman who helped us was very nice and helpful, and the heating instructions they provide were helpful. The food was awesome! I grew up eating this stuff since my mom’s family was Polish, and their stuffed cabbage and the sauce really too me back to moms cooking. Thanks Pierogies Plus for keeping up traditional food and making it available at a great price. Homemade Polish food like mom made, and I don’t have the patience to try to make myself.
