Very good fresh food! What a great surprise, I will be back!

A great alternative to usual fast food. It was understaffed with only one employee- a family of 4 came in and it took 15 -20 minutes to serve them The Gyro is the preformed slices reheated on a griddle and not fresh sliced off a rotating skewer The taste and puts was great and other that the delay, a great lunch

This is a great option from the usual burgers and fries/fast food Mexican/pizza. They have pre-selected options or you can build your own. You can build a pita, bowl or wrap.

We stopped here for lunch, where the staff was exceptionally welcoming and restaurant was clean. We ordered the gyros, which were delicious!

Friendly staff who will customize your order however you like. They also have good gluten free wraps. Pita is around $13 per person w/o combo. Would recommend.

Pita Pit is a national chain. It has no excuse to charge a 3% fee on Card. The world runs on digital money at this point. Great food, but I feel like someone is penny pinching for profit so they dont have to actually pay the fee themself, instead we do for them. Rather disgusting.

This is such an awesome place! Love going here for lunch. I always get the Falafel pita or the Chicken Cesar. Can't go wrong here, everything is fresh!

Something on my wrap was really spicy and I was not expecting that.

It’s almost like you have to be a member to eat here. If you’re a noob, you’re out of luck. They need better displayed options and directions.

Fast service, great food, and they didn't bat an eye as my kid had a complete meltdown. I really appreciated this as I just needed to get in and out and stuff some food in their hangry faces in a hurry.

On May 23rd around the end of 1pm and the beginning of 2pm I visited this location. The employee on duty was very friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. She made my experience at Pita pit stand out. If I knew her name I'd give her a shout out. But just like always the food here tastes amazing.

Very tasty quinoa rice chicken souvletna bowl.

Bummer that I was hustled through and ignored at the end when asking about sauces that I had noted we're used on others' sandwiches. Chicken souvlaki was dry and zero flavor w/o the garlic sauce (called shug here). Stand your ground and know what to add because they're essentially doing a wrap line not really thinking about the quality of product. I won't try Pita Pit again.

Loved this fresh and healthy spot

Probably my first and last time at Pita Pit. I ordered a Gyro. What I got was three tiny pieces of lamb and one helluva lot of vegetables. That's not what I call a Gyro. That's a veggies pita with a little lamb flavoring. Shame.

Want to give 5 stars buy my onions were not grilled even though it says that they come grilled. Twice I accepted ordered and got raw onion. I honestly hate that crunch and taste so it ruined my food but would have been prefect with no onions. Just order no onion if you want them roasted they don't do it.

I was amazed at the service at this location. I have OCD, and part of that for me, is I don’t go to knew places that you have to build your own anything. I panic if people watch me while I make decisions. I have never been to a pita pit and almost left when I found out it had a build your own style. However, Hunter, who was working the counter asked me if I’d like a run down of how it worked (he must have seen the panic on my face). I gladly accepted. He was very patient and answered the same question over and over as I asked it in different ways because I wasn’t understanding. I study body language and facial expressions as part of my panic. And Hunter never once showed signs of being bothered. All that to say - we need more Hunters in this world. And Pita Pit is now on my list of top places to go.

As someone with a gluten sensitivity, I was very appreciative of the above and beyond service the staff went through when making my order. I don't see that very often, and I cannot thank you enough.

Went in craving some falafel. Will delivered with style. Give the man a raise, he is a master of his craft. Havent had a sandwich that good in a hot minute

Nice clean place with the ability to have healthy food. Like every other pita pit across the US the workers do get a bit confused with orders when lots of people but they atleast ask again and it gets done right. Good place to eat healthy. Taste is way better then subway if you haven't tried this chain.

Subway/Firehouse/Taco Bell.. i have 13 ingredients and 15 sauces so I can make new stuff each week.... that being said, I've to hit the Pit. ALWAYS quality, but fast food so max 4 🌟

It's not one of those places where you can't wait to eat next tome but it good enough to eat again another time.

excellent customer service, people were very friendly, the order was fast and exactly as requested, very good to know fresh food, the place was clean and tidy, a very quiet environment to eat with family and friends, I totally recommend it, I had never eaten in this place and now it is one of the ones I liked in the area.

I've been going to Pita Pit since college on the east coast of North Carolina. I was quite surprised to find one on my business trip to Anchorage. It was delicious and a nice change from the everyday sandwich. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthy meal.

The young men and women who work here really make this a fun time and good food.

When I very first went to pita pit zay helped me pick out a vegetarian meal that I was able to eat I felt very welcome and comfortable and I am happy with the choice she recommended which is the black been boom boom. When she gave me my pita it was very delicious.

My experience at pita pit was very good thanks to Zay she was very helpful, she was very kind and had a positive attitude.

My experience at south pita pit is awesome every time I come there. I am greeted as soon as I walk in and feel positive energy within the crew. My meal is prepared neatly by Zay an exactly how I like it every time. I would just like to say keep up the good work. Ill make sure to tell everybody to stop by an try a pita.

Got tired of eating overpriced burgers while in Anchorage. Then found this via Google maps. What a relief!! Great hummus and falafel with fresh ingredients. Spicy chicken sandwich was also excellent. Great service.

Idk why I did NOT know that Pita Pit did Pitas differently, but it was pretty neat. I just got the classic Gyro, and the staff was very nice and quick. Watched Family Guy on my iPhone and enjoyed my delicious Pita in-store. 12/10 will go back.

Quite a variety of sandwiches, but there is less in the sandwiches since they have opened. Enjoy the products and am happy to eat there.

We always have had a wonderful experience. The staff has great customer service and do a great job taking care of the customers. The food is excellent and healthy. We love to go to Pita Pit after working out. When we leave a comment in the restaurant comments box, the manager always acknowledges our comments. We really love to go there.

I love the food here and the service is great and that is what keeps me coming back. However; when a place not only has tip jars, which they historically have done in clever ways: “ What is Pita spelled backward?” It really turns me off when they add it to the receipt to sign and add a tip. It will always lower my opinion of a place.

Best place in town for a quick, healthy lunch! Tremendous selection of food that's always fresh, and the staff are always friendly, efficient, and pleasant. Most importantly, I've had the pleasure to see the owner on multiple occasions at a few of the locations around town and he is always working! Helping behind the counter, cleaning, or checking with guests to ensure everything was satisfactory. Obviously really cares about the experience of every guest. Highly recommend!

se detuvo y agarró un par de pita's en el camino a casa para la cena, nunca he comido allí, pero el marido delira sobre ellos. Me alegro de haberlo escuchado porque fueron geniales. . . No recuerdo lo que tenía pero tenía un pollo búfalo con varias pinzas y era tan grande que solo podía comer alrededor de 1/4 y almorzar al día siguiente. deliciosa comida fresca, excelente servicio, rápido y asequible. la joven que nos atendió fue ingeniosa, servicial y muy educada. nosotros o debería decir que definitivamente regresaré.

I love the variety of the sandwiches here and the service is just outstanding. The employees here are always happy and friendly and it's just a pleasant place to go and eat during lunch hour

La lechuga. Dios mío que tenía miedo de comer el iceberg (excusa el Alaska referencia) lechuga era tan viejo y marrón. Me he vuelto enfermos antes de antiguo en descomposición y este aspecto la lechuga, así que evitar. Aparte de eso (La Sra. Lincoln) la comida era buena.

Pita Pit is a good option on this side of town. However, the price is quite expensive. You are paying for the quality of meal, but be aware that $13 for a meal is what to expect. As for the staff and quality of food, I have never had an issue with it. The $10 student lunch special during the school year is what keeps me coming back during the winter.

Yum! Refreshing take on the build your own meal type place. We had the chicken souvlaki done Asian style, and it was out of the park good.

I did my training here and I can definitely say that it is a clean establishment.

Fast service, fresh healthy options

1st time here! Definitely not my last! The worker heard that we hadn't been here before so he offered to tell us how it worked (which was actually quite helpful, but simple). My husband got the Meat of the day breakfast pita. He added jalapeño and the Boom Boom sauce, which the worker girl suggested. He absolutely lived it! I got a BLT and added jalapeño & jalapeño ranch. Let's just say I was very sad when I had to take the last bite. I didn't want it to be over :/. We will definitely be back!

Anchorage, Alaska was the first pita pit I've ever eaten at. It sat the bar high! The staff working was great! They really set the bar high!

WAY Better Than Subway! The Pit Crew are always friendly. They will make your food exactly how you order it, so if you don't like the food it's really on you... It's a healthy fast food option and while the Pita Pit app has some short-falls, you can order ahead of time and it will be ready for picking up. If you like Subway, you will LOVE Pita Pit. It may cost a little more but it's because they're giving you more than just bread, lots more.

One of the best places we got for semi-quick food. Wide selection and more options for everything compared to subway.

I just grabbed a pita yesterday for lunch and I totally forgot how awesome this place is. Had a gyro and had them add hot sauce on the stovetop. Pick your own toppings, wheat/white pita and whatnot. I'll probably be back in the next few days.

I prefer this to Subway any day of the week.

Someone said it's the Subway for mediterranean/pita food. Close assumption! I had a pita wrap with typical souvlaki food and you get to choose the toppings, dressings, etc. Super filling and very good. The DH had a salad (no pita) and was able to put a ton of items on. Their romaine was really wilted so we chose spinach instead. for $18.50 we were full.

Not a bad stop for lunch! Had the gyro and I liked I could pick the toppings and spread. The meat seemed a bit sparing but all in all it wasn't disappointment. Would come by again. Service was friendly as well.

I have sways liked the Pita Pit, but this visit was off from my original visit when I had the best falafel pita ever, maybe off due to the way I had it assembled.

This was our first time at the "pit". There were three people working behind the counter and each one took extra time to explain the process and make each pita spiecal.
