Amazing food. I love the fries. Great snack while at work. Great service and the sauce is amazing.

My son and I were so delighted to stumble across this delightful little pizzeria!!! Lucky for us they were rude to us @ the Hatcher Pass Lodge, and we ambled on down the road until we came across this gem of a place to eat. The owner and staff were all very courteous and accommodating when it came to ordering a specialty pizza! The pizza was AMAZING!!! 🤩 Highly Recommend this establishment!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Order was incorrect on the pizza as well as overcooked and the fries were over seasoned and so salty they weren’t eatable very dissatisfied with the food

The delivery driver was rude. Said the hour and a half lateness was beyond him and we live down the street, like 4 blocks. He went to say it's our funky addresses and too much traffic and so busy. This young guy doesn't know good customer service. We never had a problem before.

Never written a review before, but I'm so frustrated with this Mediterranean salad I bought for 15 dollars.

$55 and we still had to cook dinner at home. Bummed because I like pizza Athena, but the chicken gyros are a waste of money if they’re not made into a meal right. We ordered 3 (because we know they’re small) tonight we opened our boxes after ordering their delicious potato salad and we got bagged chips.. our gyros were so dry they fell apart while eating, the chicken was so dry I could hardly chew it (each gyro barely came with 3 small pieces of chicken) and they were stone cold. Heated mine up a bit. $16/ea and you get a small fall apart gyro and a bag of chips.. To add, other times they’ve forgotten our soda, extra sauces. People need to understand we aren’t just another customer to get over with, our dinner matters and so does our hard earned income. So we’re cooking dinner. Im not posting this to detour people, I want the owner to see the disappointment and maybe fix a few things they might not be aware of.

Pizza is wonderful.. I will say the chef salad is a little small for its price.

Simply terrible service. Order for pickup, drive there 45 minutes later and still waiting another 45 minutes for food. They have online ordering through Slice but it's 50/50 whether they actually will look at incoming orders.

Waited 3.5 hours for our pizza, it was bland and had no flavor.. plus was more expensive than most places around town.

Fast, friendly service on the roadside right at the outskirts of the town of Palmer. I had a big dish of pasta, a large, filling portion. Got my money's worth.

Dude they charged me $55 + change for a large pizza with 5 toppings... I thought it was a joke. It wasn't. I don't know if they're preying on non-locals but that was messed up. Don't support 'em.

Probably the worst Margarita pizza I ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and order from another restaurant.. Ordered the pizzas 2 hours in advance and it was still an hour late..

Customer service was terrible. Food is goodvbut the elderly man on the phone taking orders kept mumbling to himself "Jiminy crickets... would have been nice to know.." as I went down the list of orders. When he informed me that it would take 2 tickets, I said it was okay with us, and he responded "it's really not, but okay." For a small business that mostly delivers in the Palmer are during lunchtime, this was not a big ask and there weren't tons of substitutions or deviations. Customer facing employees need better training on how to interact with the customers.

Love their pizza. The variety extends past pizza and to their sides and pasta dishes. Greek fries? Fugetaboutit

Although I do not recommend doing this to them, I called with just under an hour notice for an order of 20 specialty pizzas I wanted to pick up. They got them done exactly on time without a loss in quality! Great customer service and food.

I ordered an expensive pizza because it had a lot of toppings listed, but the toppings were really sparse. The crust did not taste fresh, very tough and flavorless. I think they could work on the crust recipe and not skimp on ingredients at these prices.

Recently made a small order and was much more impressed with quality of food. Had not ordered there in a while and was pleasantly surprised. Price was reasonable for the size of the order. Perfectly fine place to get a late night meal when you don't want to cook. Will likely order more from here when I want pizza in Palmer.

So delicious! We got the feta cheese bread and Greek plate with the dolmades, pita, tzatziki, olives, and feta cheese. It was so good and super fast delivery!

I like their pizza, but have had issues with my last three orders. For the first two orders, I ordered jalapeños on my pizzas, but they were not added (I paid for them.). The third order I paid for 4 20 oz drinks (not delivered). Your employees need to be more diligent in reviewing orders before delivery.

O"boy,,,,nothing but bad 👎 Had a real major problem and talked with manager who said he would credit us back for our order and he never did he charged us anyway!! just so unfair He will never have our business again and I am going to tell 100 of my friends do not order from this company!!!

I'd rate this place less if I could the wife brought home pizza and it was just horrible..... go out of your way and get either knik pizza or hatchers pass pizza you will not be disappointed with them but pizza Athena stay away.

I don’t know why this isn’t rated 5 stars by everyone?! We’ve had multiple pizza and salad orders from here and they are so good! Always generous on their toppings and so consistent, never burned crust! I waited to review so I could compare multiple visits and they haven’t disappointed me yet! Try it out, you’ll not be disappointed!!!

Great food Good service always cheerful. Prices are more than reasonable portions and quality is on point bonus they know how to make a pizza unlike some places I have found here in Alaska

I’ve been ordering from Pizza Athena for over two years and have had no problems until recently. The past three orders I have requested that olives not be put on things and they arrive covered in them. I’ve let it go until this evening; I ordered the Athena salad which is normally great but tonight arrived with no cheese and again, covered in olives. I contacted the ordering service who reached out to the restaurant and they were told the order was made correctly and nothing can be done. I then called the restaurant directly and spoke with the owner and explained the situation. She didn’t seem too concerned and sounded bothered by the call. As much as I’ve enjoyed their pizza I’d say avoid any of the other items and don’t expect much in the way of customer service. I’ll take my business where it will be welcomed.

It is cold I started ordering here February 2022 had it delivered it was pretty good several times. Talk to Joe a couple of times they have new cooks. Danny gave me to the person that takes the orders I ordered a large I believe Supreme and a order of wings sauce on the side . Delivery not very many toppings on the pizza and the wings had sauce on them . Call the week later with delivery ordered four orders of wings the sauce on the side. Get the wings they were really overcooked well done. you can see a lot of the bone and very tough can't even eat them throw them away very very small. Called to ask for the manager the girl that answered the phone said that they were very busy and told me to call back in two two and a half hours. Call back she was not available. Very disappointed. I gave this place a five-star from the beginning and spent good money there. Hopefully they will make this right.

YOU ARE A JOKE!!! You quoted 53 dollars including delivery, you charged debit card over 70! Your pizza is a one star at best compared to Locals which is even far less $$$!!!! Actually your pizza is almost all dough with very little toppings which I will add you refuse to substitute toppings, you only take toppings off!! Sammy your manager refused to make anything right according to him even saying they miss communicated!!! You will see NO MORE Business from US!!! YOU ARE A JOKE!!!

We stopped here on our way back to Anchorage from Hatchers Pass and it was super good! We were provided quick and courteous service and the pizza and cheesy bread we had were delicious. Whether you're local to the area or just passing through or visiting, this is a great place to eat.

My first time getting pizza there Got Hawaiian pizza with pepperoni medium size. I might as well got a cheese pizza because they were very light on the toppings. I was lucky if I got two pieces of pineapple on one slice of pizza and it was very oily. Poor ingredients.

The pizza was super good. It was a little weird going to pick it up though. Big sign on the door says not to enter, but an employee acted like I was stupid for taking it seriously.

Ric & I were exploring Route 1. Saw this place and gave it a try. The Athena Special came out just right. Fresh ingredients and a crust that won’t quit!

Customer service is great. Pizza is delicious. Online ordering is easy. You get notifications on when your Pizza will be done, helpful especially if you're going to pick it up.

Pizza is so good every time, wouldnt recommend other pizza joint if your able to get athens.

Left over/dry chicken. Canned pineapple and bacon bits should not cost this much.

Glad to being eating pizza again! Haven't had any local pizza since Troy left Pizza Delphi in November, but now that he is making his amazing pizza at Athena, I have become a regular! He has brought his magic touch. Now the best place for take-out and delivery in Palmer.

My first time ordering for P.A and I loved it. Been ordering Pizza from all the wrong places. Freshness in every ingredient and you can taste the love in every bite. I am never going back to the tired and inconsistent chains when you never know what you will get!

Food is always hot and delicious. My only suggestion, get another pizza oven as there have been several times where the waiting time for a pick up pizza was pushing 2 hours.

We had take out for twelve people. Not an eas task but one that Pizza Athena had done for our travel company and many occasions. The order was all wrong (I had ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a salad with French dressing and received spaghetti without the meatballs and salad without dressing). The majority of the orders were incorrect in one way or another. The food was cold, we had ordered earlier in the day for arrival at time certain and it was obviously prepared well before we arrived. And the food was just NOT GOOD. They had acknowledged earlier in te day that they were very busy and should have jus told us to go elsewhere rather than provide poor service, inaccurate orders and poor food.

They are so sweet, I'm so thankful for these guys. Every time I feel extra lazy it's nice to have lots of things to chose from for delivery ☺ thanks you guys! Great drives too!

Best service I've experienced at a takeout pizza place. Very friendly. Had a large, delicious, thin crust "everything, please" type of pizza. It was loaded, hot, juicy and melty. Oh and I found out they do free deliveries, too! Niiiice!

Lol the delivery time was on point the driver was polite and courteous I would have to say they have the best tasting pizza and their menu is to die for it is huge so I would recommend this to everyone it's five stars in Palmer Alaska

Delicious . This pizzería is out of the box. The regular crust is soft, but it keeps the consistecy of a pie, Fair ammount of toppings. Always pick up or delivery on time and hot. Lucky 2 have them in my área.👌

Amazing pizza, fast service, great stop for pizza!

I ordered the Gyro Platter, Loaded Greek Fries, and Baklava to be delivered. Driver was courteous and friendly. The food was awful. The gyro meet was dried out. There were no red onions. The Tzatziki sauce was just sour cream with a little herb, no cucumber and very bland. The Fries came plain! The Baklava was killer, though.

Excellent service and awesome food. No matter what you order it is past excellent. Soooooo much better than Pioneer Pizza in so many ways!!! It is pleasant every time satisfaction every time.

Had a very interesting experience tonight with DoorDash and Pizza Athena, lots of confusion but Pizza Athena credited my account due to all the issues because of Doordash.

A year ago I left a 1 star review. We decided to try again and it was amazing! From what I’ve read it’s under new ownership and they turned that place around! So delicious!

It is under new and more effective ownership. And this one blows the old pizza shop out the water. And have the best pizza and prices in town.

I love pizza athena! The crust is amazing and the pizza is always hot, even if I am late picking up, the pizza is always ready, fresh, and the staff are friendly and fun.

Crazy good pizza. I've eaten a lot of pizza in AK, this is in the top 2. Don't let the disaster of a property turn you away. These guys make an extraordinarily high quality and authentic New York pizza. All of the pizza in the Valley except Athena and one other is terrible.

AMAZING COOK(S)!!! The pizza is always delivered HOT (I even had to blow in mine and set it by the fan) and do NOT get me started on their breadsticks!! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!! Sammy is literally the BEST pizza cook!! But then again, they all are. You will not be dissapointed I promise!!! Also, try their chicken sandwich! To die for!!!

Yum! Enough said. Ok but in all seriousness, it's great. The specialty pizzas are amazing. There's something for everyone. Run to the shop and pick it up or have it delivered. The staff are great and always have a smile. It's worth it.

The food is great, and so are the employees... Coming from an Italian from Ny who moved to the area it's hard to find a great pizza place and Athena rates up there...

Good is the best I've had in mat su valley

Large menu and you can mix orders. Large portions. Tomato sauce is ok but not great -- tasted like common grocery store sauce.... We had pizza which was ok but very average. No seating -- designed as a takeout place. If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.

Best pizza and Greek food in town! We usually get the feta bread and feta lovers salad. Their sandwiches, Greek fries and pasta salad are awesome too.

The Athena Special pizza was great! I would definitely eat here again, very good and unique options on the menu.
