When Ann is there, quality is amazing and is the best food around Natchez. However with her being out, it's horrible. Thos is the second experience in a row that has been awful. The sushi was so loosely packed and poorly cut, that it fell apart on the plate. My sons sushi took 10 minutes longer to come out than the chicken. The sesame chicken was burned bad enough it was very difficult to eat, with many pieces having no batter at all. Brought our son here for his birthday lunch and deeply regret it, there is no quality at all unless she is there.

One of my favorite places in Natchez. I loved eating in or taking out. Lots of locally grown veggies and spices. The atmosphere inside is super cozy!

It was very good Americanized Thai food. I enjoyed the Pad Thai. The Jasmine Tea was also very good

Beat Thai food we've ever had (including in Thailand!). Great atmosphere, Denzel was helpful and outstanding. For us, it was definitely "the meal to remember" on our 5000 mile road trip through the Southern states. One issue is that it's closing time was 8pm. Fortunately, we got there in time.

I order sushi from here and it came with a salad and I bought extra wasabi just my preference and it didn’t come with any dressing for the salad or any soy sauce no sauce at all and it j ruined my meal for me what am I gonna do eat dry dry food

Food was okay, but not exceptional. Coffee served in a one cup French press, no refills. Service was a little slow. Prices a bit high for the quantity and quality provided

I LOVE Planet Thailand! The atmosphere is very laid back, the service is good, and the sushi is unbeatable in Natchez. Great place for lunch or dinner.

A group of us meet once monthly for Saturday noon lunch. We eat at Planet Thailand at least 9 out of 12 months per year. We mainly order the sushi which is out of this world delicious and we have never had a bad meal or experience. We occasionally get a curry, rice or noodle dish and each and every one is mouthwatering. The service is fast, orders are accurate with lots of attention to our picky details. The food is superb and is something we really look forward to every month.

My main complaint was the wait. In a restaurant with only 3 tables seated, we waited nearly 1-1/2 hours for our 3 dishes - general chicken, chicken in red curry, and chicken fried rice. Our waitress was running her backside off. However, the kitchen staff (at least 2 men) were on their phones the entire time we were there. This is why our food took forever to come out. I pointed out that the "wait times for an empty restaurant" was a common repeating complaint about the restaurant on Google, and the waitress apologized profusely. It wasn't her fault, she was the only one working it appeared. The curry was okay, though the viscosity was off and while the heat was good the flavor was flat. The fried rice had a good flavor but was oddly sweet...very sweet. Either someone used sugar or Jamie Oliver was back there using honey, but the taste was off putting. The general chicken was spot on. Not too sweet and not too gooey from lots of starch. The coating was still crisp and the sauce didn't make it stodgy. The sauce was made with a base of maybe sweet Thai chili, soy and hoisen instead of just jarred sweet and sour sauce with hoisen added, like many places. So I have to give props on that. The restaurant is quaint and clean. The bathroom is not so much, and it makes me concerned for the cleanliness of the kitchen. Not top stars by any measure, but good general tso chicken, though.

Friend of mine went in here for lunch, but unfortunately I couldn't tag along due to a work schedule. We've both been here many times and enjoy the food and the staff. This negative review purely is reflective of the manager that was on duty 10/14. I asked my friend if he could bring me back a Thai Tea (theirs is my favorite it is so so good) but with no ice so it wouldn't melt on his walk back to the office. He asked the waitress if he could order it with no ice, she was very kind btw, and she went to ring it up and the manager, who was in ear shot said "if he doesn't want ice it's gonna cost him extra." in a very nasty tone. It's a shame that such a nice, local business wants to try and make an extra buck over ICE. The principle of it is, my friend paid for it regardless, but the nasty attitude was uncalled for. Keep the wonderful food and staff, find a better manager who actually likes to engage with their customers.

FYI THEY CHARGE A FEE FOR NO ICE IN THEIR DRINKS. MANAGER IS VERY RUDE ABOUT CUSTOMER REQUESTS IN EAR SHOT OF CUSTOMERS. Foods good though

Honestly this has been the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant they gave my friend a menu and I feel like because we're different from everybody two women myself being black lesbian and my best friend being Caucasian and straightwe honestly been sitting here 18 minutes no drinks no service TWO PEOPLE AND ONE DAMN MENU... DO NOT RECOMMEND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very bad experience. We waited more than one hour for very few basic dishes and the restaurant was almost empty. Some of the things we ordered they didn’t even bring us. Definitely not recommended.

Quite honestly, this was the best Pad Thai I've ever had, and I search around! I feel guilty for not taking a picture because the presentation let you know this is about to be incredible. The steame gyoza appetizer was also the best. This is an authentic, family owned restaurant. I can't say enough...

Nice atmosphere. Service was pretty good but we had a server that was too young to serve alcohol so that lead to some confusion. Food was decent. The tiny spicy chicken was pretty good. The fried dumplings were decent but nothing special. The mixed vegetables were kind of bland. If I want Thai in Natchez I'll come back but nothing all that special here

Some days I have to drive to Natchez for work and I never know what to eat when I am there. I discovered Plant Thailand and it changed my whole lunch idea. I ordered the yellow chicken curry super spicy with a Thai tea. The food and drink was amazing!! the space is nice and quite with the best service by far. Now I don't mind driving to Natchez bc at least I know where to eat from now on. 10/10 would recommend if you are in the area.

Place has pretty good food, dad loved the icecream. Really miss the pho though, it was amazing here. It used to be what I'd come here for.

We ate here twice and will always eat here when we come to Natchez. I got the ginger chicken dish at 3 stars spicy and it was very good and actually moderately spicy as I like Thai food. My mother got two different curries and both were very delicious. We also got the Tom Yum soup with chicken 3 stars twice and it was very good.

We picked up some crawfish fried rice and cream cheese and crab wontons. They were both delicious. We feel like this will be a regular place for us.

The sushi was good but service was horrible. 1st they asked us to move tables then they took forever to take our order and even longer to bring it to us. It was such a long wait that we had to take it to go. And it was overall an awful stressful experience.

Very busy and the one waitress on duty was overwhelmed....but the food was excellent and while overwhelmed the waitress managed to take care of a whole room of people. The resturant itself was charming.

Oh so bad. My husband got the pad thai and it was horrible. No peanut flavor, just all cabbage. They also didn't include a fork for him and he had to find something to eat with back at our hotel room. I got the summer rolls and they were the worst I have ever had. Only saving grace was the peanut sauce. It tasted just like the one I make at home. The summer rolls were so tiny and there was only 2. They included tomato, radish, lettuce etc. The herb flavoring was definitely not right. I tasted no mint at all. Will not return to this restaurant.

Pad Thai was really good and they made is very spice to my expectation today..good cooks and good service But revisited for a dinner tonight. Ordered dragon noodles, tom yam soup and squid salad. Asked 5 star spicy for the soup and dinner. But was 0 star with poor taste. When i yold him it's not spicy he was strong saying it's spicy but after talking again at the end to the another waiter found out that the cook didn't hear 5 star. Regardless I had no option but to eat as they never even bother to ask how the food was.. Nor they try to make it spicy....such a bad dinner and makes me mad that they didn't even seen to care...bad profit and karma will get them back for such an arrogant service..

I've been going to Planet Thai for a few years now. Every time the food has been pretty great (aside from the Gyoza, which has consistently been a little rough). The restaurant is nice and clean, and the only place that I can fault them is how long the service takes at times. I understand that restaurants can be busy, but I've gone here many times where the wait has been excessive (both in food preparation and service times in general). However, after working in food service, I understand and don't fault them too greatly for it. Overall, Planet Thai is a great restaurant, and it's hard to fault the dining or setting. Very very tasty food and very nice staff (I can explicitly think of one waiter we've had and he's always been super great to us, making our meal that much better).

Honesty, my wife and I are hooked when it comes to Planet Thailand. I do not have a single complaint. They can get busy at times (I mean, yea, the food is amazing), but it's definitely worth the wait. The staff are more than friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh. This restaurant is by far my favourite place to eat in town. We mostly do take-out, but dining in is very nice too. Amazing atmosphere.

I've ordered from Planet Thailand several times prior to this time. The food is always good. I appreciate the selection because I do not eat meat. But Whoever is in the kitchen should really slow down and pay attention to orders. I am very happy that I am not an extreme vegetarian in that I will eat foods that have touched meat. However, this last time I ordered a large veggie soup, there were hug chunks of chicken in my order. Good because I could just take it out. Bad because I had to sit there and take it out. Slow down. I've had credits on door dash because the people preparing the food don't slow down enough and pay attention. Every one doesn't eat meat.

Quaint restaurant for nice night out. The Green Curry with Vegetables was fantastic. The is a good selection of food options. To sum it up food was good and services was as well. It was a bit odd that all their beverages were served in bottles even water. it could be due to Covid but we found it a bit odd. We will defiantly go back.

Amazing. The pineapple fried rice was incredible, and the sushi was better in both quality and price than many places in New Orleans. If we come back to Natchez, we will be coming back for sure.

The place has been in business for about 17 years we were told. We got a gyoza appetizer, Choo Chee (Jumbo shrimp in red curry) and 2 rolls, a 911 and Anna. (911 pictured). ALL were delicious. The place was really nice inside too. Our server was entertaining and personable and helped us decide. Totally recommend.

Really, truly delicious authentic Thai from 1st and 2nd generation family restaurant! I have thought about the yellow curry everyday since I tried it two weeks ago! Also great sushi, next time I'm in Natchez I will be back!

As a local and person that works two blocks way we frequent Planet Thai on a regular basis although it wasn’t until a few week ago I even realized they serve crab cakes as an appetizer!!! They are the bomb!!!! Even perfect for a light lunch. Best in town. Good customer service that stays consistent. Ann and her family and staff is an excellent asset to Natchez.

We lunch here, my wife had the salad with peanut butter dressing, very tasty. I had the Miso Soup was delicious. Our entrees were okay, Curry Chicken as expected had a kick. My Cashew Chicken had a little more kick than I expected. Both were good and we ate them gone.... We would both try a different entree next time.

Dont be in a rush or be an impatient person. The food is exilent but the kitchen is small and you cant rush perfection. So when dinning here sit back and enjoy your time with those a round you. Whether your alone or not people of the south never meet a stranger.

We really enjoyed the food at this location. The place is nice and the staff is friendly but the older Thai lady helping us was a bit on the slow side. She was sweet though so it was cool. By the way, food that is 1-5 on the Thai hot scale is pretty hot on 5, just saying! lol

Très bon restaurant et très accueillant

We arrived hungry just as they opened the door. My wife is a celiac and we carry our own soy sauce. The waiter was very helpful with gluten free selections. Thai food is great for a celiac as long as you avoid the soy sauce. Food and service were both great. The place had lots of locals there by the time we finished eating.
