Since first trying it here a month ago we have made Playa Bowl a part of our meal routine. Everything is fresh and consistently delicious. We order delivery mostly but it’s a cute shop next to the fountain inside the plaza. There’s fun options to mix and match and you can add protein to any bowl which is a huge win for me as a mom trying to get more protein in my kids diet. We are so happy it’s so close to home! REVISED: I wanted to add that I have since tried several similar bowl places around St Pete (G&B are the initials of one) and I have yet to find a bowl that satisfies me as much as playa. Playa bowls granola, honey and fruit are top notch. Their fruit is always so fresh!!!

The bowls look as good as they taste! This place has an IMPRESSIVE number of add ons available even bee pollen. They do accommodate gluten free and dairy free as well. I will definitely be back!! Highly recommend getting half coconut base half acai base! Perfect location right across from the beach

Can’t get much better. I love acie bowls and have tried numerous places. I always go back to playa bowls. I love the whole astetic of the place, people are always nice, and the fruit is so fresh.

Great staff. Great Açaí bowls and very very fast. It’s a small location but trust me you won’t be disappointed how fast you get your smoothies and bowls. It’s def worth it 100000%

Super fast and great smoothie bowls!

Vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff. There were so many options to choose from that it made it hard to decide which bowl I would try first. For my first ever, I decided to try the Nutella Açaí Bowl and not only was it visually appealing, it was delicious and refreshing on a hot day. My daughter got a Costa bowl and it was delicious as well.

Absolutely delicious and a great pick me up before you head to the beach. I got the Nutelloco and it was sooo good! The person behind the counter was super friendly and made some conversation. I sat outside where there was shaded seating by a water fountain in a courtyard.

Since my first time going to playa bowls I have absolutely loved it!! I have tried so many other acai bowl places but none of the compare to plays bowls. And the staff is always so funny and friendly I 100% recommend giving it a try!!

This is not my first Playa Bowls experience, but it was just as good as on my visits to other locations. The Electric Mermaid bowl was PERFECT!

Love playa bowls. First time I ever tried them out was in Jersey and was so upset they didn’t have them down here and turns out, they do! Best açaí bowls on the beach or St. Pete in general. Def check them out.

Hands down my favorite smoothie bowl place!

Best acai bowl I’ve ever had. The workers were super sweet and very helpful in recommending what to get. I would get one of these everyday if I could. I also think the nutrition for each bowl is decent! Not too much added sugar, and you can taste the difference in the bowls because of that! Pura Vida is my favorite bowl, and the granola is the best I’ve ever had!

The customer service here is amazing not only that but the fruit is really fresh which makes it even better. I don’t ever doubt coming to this place even if it’s busy cause of the young ladies that are always so patient and caring !

I love that they have a banana a Blend I have not seen that anywhere else and they also had some amazing fall specials. Most places it’s just basic açai bowls and then you can add a lot of toppings here. They actually try to do different kinds of specials and you get a free bowl on your birthday. Love this place I will definitely be coming back.

The food and service was great. My reason for 2 stars is the suggested tip amount defaulted to 30% AND the tax is included on that tipped amount. I tip everywhere, but this seems a bit sus and pretty excessive

I love love love this place, but every time I come, there’s only one to two people here and you have to wait a long time. It’s totally worth it. That’s why I come back but it would be nice to have maybe have one extra person working here, because this place is always busy.

We love Playa Bowls! We come to Treasure Island every 3 months or so, and we always have to go to Playa Bowls at least once every trip.

Best coffee and açai bowls I have had in a very long time. The staff were so kind and inviting. They were very accommodating to all allergies as well.

Good cold brew and I love the coconut bowls. I’d never seen coconut before. The power coconut bowl is my favorite.

The açaí bowl I ordered was great, but that’s not why I’m writing this review. When I walked in the girl working the counter briefly looked up and gave a quick “hello” without making eye contact. She did not smile, she did not make any conversation. When I ordered I asked her about the oatmeal and if she had tried it. Her response was “I don’t know, I haven’t tried it” in an annoyed tone. She did not offer any other response, nothing about if other people liked it, if it’s served hot or if it’s served cold like overnight oats. She asked if I wanted the bowl “for here or to go.” While she was making it two kids walked in and she only said hello. A second girl came out from the back, saw the other two guests in line and walked as if she was going back in to the back, turned around and heaved a big sigh before grabbing gloves and asking the other two “what can i get for you”. The girl making my bowl finished and handed it over to me with a lazy and annoyed “have a good day.” Both girls just seemed generally irritated that they were there working and that people were coming in and ordering from them. This was a rare occasion where I seriously regret tipping. I don’t usually do this kind of thing because I get that sometimes people are introverts, but I was so thrown off by the interaction I felt the need to say something, especially as someone who has worked in the service industry and now works in customer service and hospitality. This team could use some serious customer service training.

Great food really nice people! I bought my wife and I a bowl, I was eating mines right away but waiting on my wife and they offered to keep it in the freezer for me, so nice to consider! Very friendly and the açaí bowls and the dang smoothie is to die for!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful with my food allergy. I got to meet the owners parents and they were very sweet. Bowls were plentiful and mouth watering.

I had such an awesome experience. I believe her name is Mel, but she was super awesome and nice. She was very professional yet welcoming and warm. The food was fresh and delicious too. All the staff was very helpful and friendly with my dietary restrictions. I would recommend this place to anyone.
