My favourite so far for my 1st time dining in.

This is my favoriteeeeeee Mexico restaurant for miles. I use to go here on a daily basis before I moved more into the city, the servers started to recognize me fast and were even more friendly!! I highly recommend the fajita bowl and their coconut mojito. Soo so good and they are so accommodating to preferences and substitutions. Definitely worth the stop if you’re craving a comfy Mexican restaurant!

Delicious food is served up fast by the friendliest staff. Comfy local vibe. Always clean and welcoming.

Best Mexican fare at reasonable prices!

I am visiting from out of state(chicago) I ordered the burrito fajita with chicken shrimp and steak. The chicken was dry. It was in strips not cut up for a burrito only had 2 chicken pieces 3 shrimps and 2 strips steak. It was soggy and falling apart. Just a horrible burrito. A waste of $18.00

The first time I went there they wouldn't serve me. I'm not sure what I did but they didn't want to give me service. Their food never fails to be a laxative.

Great food and drinks, friendly staff. If you like La perilla you will like the food here. It’s Very similar food, but more affordable.

Great casual Mexican with friendly service, good prices, large portions and tasty food. We were passing through and tried this restaurant at random. It's a fairly large restaurant that gets pretty busy but they turn tables quickly and the wait was not long.

Tilapia taco and carne asada taco both delicious. Brisket enchiladas and chicken enchiladas were bland. Even for white dude Mexican bland. Chips broken and cold. Salsa was okay. Queso cheese was good. Given the 4.6 rating we expected more. Won't be back. Meh

Crazy busy and loud but as usual food really good and waiter (who was also bar tending) was very attentive and excellent juggling all tasks. Really enjoyed it again.

Food was ok had the enchilada supremes only thing I would have put the lettuce on the side also my tacos came with just meat and wrap no lettuce smh lol observed my server make my drinks then stands and talk to coworker with drinks in her hands for 2 mins I posted last few seconds of her doin so before bringing them to my table overall wasn't the best but I don't think I'll be back at this location

Food is great. But the whites that flourish makes it uncomfortable honestly. Especially the damage they do to my car

Best Mexican restaurant in the area! The food is consistently good and the staff is friendly. They have tables big enough to host larger groups, but expect a wait during peak times. I highly recommend the seafood enchiladas and house margarita.

The best Mexican in the Acworth Kennesaw area. I don't know what is better outside this area because I have not been to Mexican in other areas in quite some time. My goto is a combo with a Beef Chile Relleno and a crispy taco with beef.

Welcome to Soso, Mexico. We ordered queso w/jalapenos dip and fajitas. Both were exceptionally bland. We wouldn’t order either again. We wouldn’t return here of our own accord. Service was a miss, too. We often sat waiting. Most egregious was not checking in after food was served. We ate one fajita each before we could even wave down the server for hot sauce. Overrated.

A local favorite! We love their food and quick service. They get very busy, but so worth the wait. Many of their servers have been there for years, and they know you when you come in. Nice friendly atmosphere with good food

Food was great but drinks were TERRIBLE. way too sweet to drink our marg pitcher. Very disappointing. The food was hot and yummy but if you’re going for a pre or post game don’t even bother.

Felt at home! I’m vegetarian, but I was lucky to have Jose as a server, he was so kind and helped me pick out the plate that was best for me. He also moved us to a place where we felt the most comfortable. Had an amazing experience!

This is texmex food, the restaurant is big and it has a bar and outdoor sitting area, family friendly but that's about it.

Sometimes the service is slow but it's a very busy place. Is the outdoor deck is very loud.

Best salsa, cheese dip, and fresh chips around. However, they are about the slowest place I've ever been for an order of chips and dip to go. Waited over 40 mins inside after my order had been called in ahead of time. I'm a regular customer, at least 2 times a month but the service has only declined in the last several months.

Service was excellent. The Azada Tacos were fantastic. And the Charro beans were awesome as well. Beer was cold and very reasonably priced. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Best margarita I've ever had in GA!

I will be back. But I will make sure I communicate more direct. I ordered an Enchilada and a Chile Relleno. The waitress asked, Beef? I said yes. My attention was divided so I thought maybe it was my fault that the Relleno was filled with cheese. It was good but not what I wanted. My wife ordered a chicken Breast with salad on top. When she was finished I tried some of her chicken and it was hard to cut with a fork. I don't think my wife will want to go back.

This is a very popular local restaurant, and rightfully so. I have come here off and on for several years but recently this place has been hitting it out of the park. The food has always been average to above average - but I have NEVER had bad service here. Every waiter/waitress I’ve had has been attentive and I’ve never been left waiting where they’ve disappeared to for 30 minutes like other restaurants in the area. The Tinga chicken tacos are the best I’ve ever had; such a great take on the flavor of tinga chicken.

There are no words to describe this place, the food is LITERALLY out of this world, the staff is truly amazing, and the atmosphere is festive to say the least-cool drinks, mouth watering eats, come enjoy a super fun experience with friends & family!! 😋

First time here, and I wasn't impressed. Long wait for table for 8... should be expected. Our waiter, Jose, seemed stressed, tired, and impatient. He could use one of the after dinner breath mints before getting too close to the customers.

I love the food and service at Poblanos. It's our favorite Mexican restaurant to visit and close to home. The food is always delicious, fresh, and hot with a huge menu to select from. The portions are great for the price - way better than Huey Lueys.

Our Family Loves Poblanos ❤️ The food is consistently good, full of flavor, and not overpriced.😋 I think I'm addicted to their monster burrito and fajita bowl. Their coconut 🥥 Mojito 🍹 is so tasty and refreshing. Their bartenders have skills and don't cheap out with the pour. I love the update they've done with the wall colors which makes for a better ambiance. The waitresses/staff are sweet and friendly. In all the years we've been patroning this establishment, we've only had one bad waiter/service experience by an older gentleman the last time we went with regard to how long it took him to even take our order and get food out, check on us or even clear the table at all, when it wasn't busy. All in all, very happy to have them in the neighborhood. If you enjoy Mexican food, definitely give this place a try.

Food very expensive! Fajitas dinner very little like nothing meat ! Come on way to expensive! Plus some lady's at the front no friendly at all they look at us like we were from another planet! Empathy please!

It was really busy when we went here so the service was almost non-existent, the guac was severely underseasoned and so was the rest of the food, it was just okay the wings were good though, but we were sat outside and they had heaters on the walls so it was quite nice

My wife and I went to Poblanos for dinner last night. It was packed!! We got seated immediately outside. However, it was around 7 pm and you would think being outside was cold. It was really nice. They had huge heaters and it was comfortable. We ordered some queso dip. Oh my gosh was it good!! We ate it all. I ordered some nachos and my wife ordered a la carte She ordered a taco and a enchilada. She thought it should be a bit more flavorful. My nachos were so dang good though!! I would not hesitate to go back!!

Wow we came over here after our diners recital it was really close to our home and apparently very popular for the area when we had a party of eight and our order was pretty big from the selection of the menu we had a few margaritas specialty drink the mangonada. It was good it's just we were used to more seasoned and spicy Mexican food this place the spice is not there really and the salt you have to really edit yourself which is a good thing for some people just not for us. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating even though he was taking on about six tables that were very large he kept track of our orders and make sure we were well taken care of.

POBLANOS is amazing, the staff is always friendly, the food is outstanding, and the service is beyond anything we have ever seen, our server was amazing, and she kept our drinks full and a smile on our face, I highly recommend this resturant.

My family and I have been going here for years! Not sure why I never thought to leave review but, we have never left this place hungry or unhappy! This place beats any "5 star" restaurant hands down! The all around experience here is nothing short of amazing! Excellent foood, service, and atmosphere! Discovered this spot and through is not in my neighborhood/not close at all, I look forward to the times that Im able to enjoy their fresh made Margaritas and Charro beans. Both are just delicious! The first few times the chips were so hard that I just could not eat made my teeth hurt. On yesterday, 10/19/23 tried chips and they were thinner and I was able to enjoy with my Queso dip w/jalapeño. Just delicious! Prices are reasonable and you get a lot for your coins. Had their veggie fajitas and had enough for lunch/dinner the next day and I just could not believe my bill for all that let ordered.I recommend this restaurant and looking to try the location in Lawrenceville, Ga which is a little closer.

I have been coming here with my Son since he was 1. This is our Favorite place and the people who work there have seen him grow up. They still recognize him 15 years later.

If you've been following my reviews for some time, you know when it comes to Mexican restaurants, it's easy to determine whether you're going to have a good experience... One only look at the first thing that you bite into and that's generally chips and salsa... unfortunately at this restaurant the chips were served cold, not warm and the salsa was just mediocre. We had the fajitas and they were just okay. They could have used a line and some flavoring and seasoning. The fajita taco salad was just okay as well. The chicken was flavorful unlike the fajita chicken and the presentation was nice but there wasn't much flavor besides the chicken. Instead of using diced tomatoes they use a half of a whole tomato. They used a little bit of lettuce, a little bit of cheese and the rest was just peppers and onions... The kids chicken tenders were actually very very good - white juicy quality breast meat with a nice light breading. In my opinion, that was the best thing at the restaurant 🙂 While we won't be coming back, it wasn't a horrible experience either. Hats off to Jose who was single-handedly serving. Literally the entire outdoor patio of at least 10 different tables. Is no easy feat and he did it with pizzazz where other servers couldn't manage four tables at other restaurants. Very impressive! There are so many options in Mexican cuisine, it's easy to find something else that's a little bit better. Also, the price wasn't bad unlike most other Mexican restaurants. It was only 35 for three meals...

The food was bland and could have used more seasoning. The chips were very thin making it hard to dip them into my guacamole. The “Fresh” Margarita was very watery and sour but after bringing me some guava syrup it made it ok. The service was good, our waitress was very attentive and accommodating and the atmosphere was gloomy. Everything seemed to be dated as far as the furniture and decor.

The service was excelent. Was not impressed with the food. Although it was presented beautifully, it just wasn't what I wanted it to be. The cheese dip was in a very small bowl so had to order another one, and the chips had a strange flavor. I can handle a little spice but everything was just too spicy for me. I like the spice of a jalapeño, but, anything more is just not enjoyable. The guacamole was more tomatoes than Avacado and it was just too expensive. We won't be back.

Absolutely the worst Mexican meal I've ever had. I ordered a chicken breast that was so dry I couldn't cut it. When I tried to send it back, he said they all come out like that, but he would cook a marinated breast so it wasn't so dry. Half of my food didn't come out at all and I had to ask for it twice. I finally told the receptionist to forget the chicken because the rest of my party was finished eating.

We’ve been here four times with our two small children. Every time has been a positive experience and it’s been the best Mexican food found in North GA. We are from Los Angeles and Mexican food out here is a far cry. But we love this place and we haven’t been disappointed. Great staff. Great food. Favorite spot for us.
