Good home cooking for a reasonable price.

Mold all over ceiling tiles. Took my friend to eat there, half way through the meal they pointed out that some of tiles not only had water stain marks but literal mold.

Good, filling chow, for a very reasonable price. But no milk for kids

Awesome food and service. It sure surprised us to find this amazing little restaurant.

The food was great, and very filling. The service was excellent and very nice people.

I don't review places very often but this place made a great impression on my family last night. The food was all extremely fresh, tasted great, huge servings for the price, and our Server (I think his name was Michael) was very attentive and kept our drinks topped off and kept making sure we were ok and didn't need anything. Great experience. 10/10

Pork chop dinner and sides are some of the best around

Definite hometown feel here. This is one of the few places I've found where you can order a gizzard platter, which I love. I will be back!

They were quick of seating us and getting our drinks and food out to us . A d our waitress kept checking on us to refill our drinks.

Food was good, very good prices, but... you know how they say the condition of the bathroom reflects the condition of the kitchen? This kitchen must be filthy. The bathroom was below par. Yuck.

Air was broken other than that Amazing!

We were looking for somewhere unique to eat, and the Po Folks really got our attention. Good home cooking, southern comfort food. We ordered the chopped steak, cabbage, baked apples, chicken dumplins, fried okra, and Mac and cheese. Food was all hot and fresh even though it was an hour before close. People were friendly & attentive. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in town that would enjoy some good southern cooking.

PoFolks is just a nice homey place with southern food and friemdly staff. We enjoy going there when we have a hankering for fried chicken or the pork chops.

Food was a little off. It's usually really good. Black-eyed peas and fried green tomatoes lacked seasoning, and fried green tomatoes are usually the best. Waitress was very attentive. Restaurant is very small and congested around lunchtime. We were seated close to the kitchen and it was very noisy.

Food was really good. Got a fried chicken sandwich and he got a burger the steak fries were also good. Fried green tomatoes were ok but you dont get very many. The server was nice prices not bad would eat again.

Love going here for a nice sit down comfortably with family and friends. Good food great service and which gives you a wonderful atmosphere 🙏

We drove out of our way to come here after eating at the one in Largo while visiting. It is not anything like we experienced or ate there. The food was hot but it is NOT anywhere near the same. I was just extremely disappointed that it is the same place but not the same food or atmosphere.

This place is NOTHING like the older one that was destroyed by the hurricane! It was tolerable but nothing to drive out of the way for!

It has a homey feel atmosphere like you’re at grandmas house. Our server wasn’t very good. She brought us the wrong thing a few times, like the wrong hot sauce and bread roll instead of corn bread after telling her a couple times. She would walk away before we were done telling her what we needed after she asked. The food was good

Fried green tomatoes is a must & great fried chicken!

I got a burger and fries. The burger was a frozen patty that was extremely salty. Salty enough that I couldn't eat it.

Myself and 2 sons are on fishing trip from Ga. The food was awesome and the servers were too! Great place to eat. Good ole country cooking.

I had a sea food dinner platter and it was great.

Edit: 1 yr later! Everyone's still awesome and the comfort food is still just as amazing! Absolutely loved the food and staff!

Had the kuntry fried steak meal...the steak was tender but tasted like a mystery rectangle meat. The mac tasted like macaroni rolled in plain velveta cheese and the green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, zero seasoning added. The peach cobbler was horrible with 1cm thin crust. Smh. The only good was the amazing brown gravy and cornbread. Looooved the cornbread!

Only thing I did not like about this Po Folks no Buffet

The food is great, the service is horrible. It's consistently like this. I used to go about once every week or two but now I'm fed up, I would probably still go to another location.

Expect "country home cooking" with excellent service and fair prices.

I love chicken livers and they are done perfectly, here. Good food, big portions. Great value. The service has been great both times I went there. I will definitely go back.

The gravy was white colored water but the country fried steaks were great! Was hoping for actual fried okra not the pre breaded frozen type. Biscuits were good!

This restaurant came thru for me at one of the worst times in my life. My mother passed away in January 2024 and I had to make arrangements for her service and the repast. I called a few restaurants to order items for the repast and Eric was amazing. He not only gave me a reasonable price but also arranged for a pick up time before the restaurant would be open. I am so appreciative of him and the staff there. They were the light I needed during a difficult time. Oh and the chicken was so darn good and fresh!! Thank you all so very much

Great servers , had fried shrimp they were excellent.

Good down home southern cooking. Flavorful but plenty of grease. The fried shrimp were cooked just right and the sides were good. I’m sure I ate my entire calorie budget for a few days, but it sure tasted good.

I have ordered twice there in the last two month both time's in the evening and the White gravy is water with color and I was told it was normal , oh and we don't have flour to thicken it the manager told me he could thicken it in other ways and still didn't taste good made my own at home 😔 and how don't u have flour and fry so much food

Mike was a fabulous server.. it got slammed after we arrived but he did great trying to keep up with all his tables.

We loved PoFolks years ago before they closed the one in our hometown. So, when we saw the sign we had to stop for lunch. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious! Brought back good memories! Great menu - something for everyone. The biscuits were out of this world!

Po Folks offers great country style food and service! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting true southern cuisine!

Generally there is no wait to be seated but sometimes they do forget people and have then sitting for a long time. The food is great over all. They one some of the best ranch and i love their fried green tomatoes. The places does look a little dated. The air conditioning seemed to be dow. The last few times they were using a temp indoor one. I have the same one at home and the filters dont clear out alot of the stuff in the air. But it didnt seem dust and it wasnt hot. They helped this also by changing out some of the table lights to the one with lights and fans. I like that because its brighter. I wish the waitresses would talk over your food when handing it out as some people spit when talking.

Country fried steak lunch was delicious! Plenty of food. Our waitress forgot about us though! I ran out of water & had to ask someone for jelly for my biscuit. I had to go to the counter to pay which wasn’t a problem but observed my waitress laughing & carrying on in the back before I left. Otherwise it was great!

Great food and nice people!! My husband and I come here every chance we get! The vegetables are cooked up fresh! We like the white fish fried with turnip greens and black eyed peas. The corn bread is good too!

We're country kinda folks with just a little change in our pockets and ther country kinda cookin' is right up our alley. Luv ther shrimps, fish, chikkin & baked po-taters.

Like a big family sit down dinner.

The only downside was the portion for the beef tips was a little small. Everything else was great.

Everything was very good and everyone is very friendly too.

My family comes here in May to celebrating my RIP brother's birthday. This is where he would drive over 5 hours to eat. We had a variety of the menu items. Everyone was satisfied with the meal and loved the meals.

Atmosphere is laid-back country. You feel very much at home as you are seated to be served. Waitresses and waiters are very cordial. Prices are very reasonable, food is delicious and prepared with a southern flair.

The food is always good and the staff are friendly. The restrooms need to be remodeled.

I was completely satisfied. Everyone was wonderful. The food was amazing . I will definitely be back. I even got a gallon of ice tea to go.

Great food, great service, family feel!

We were so pleased to again find this restaurant. We first visited it 25 or so years ago with our son who was in the military. Food was fantastic! Waitress was very friendly and made sure things were as we wanted. We definitely will go back when we are in Florida.

I haven't been to a PoFolks in about 6 years. I ordered fried green tomatoes for a appetizer I was super disappointed. The green tomatoes were sliced so thin it was more breading then tomatoe. I ordered fried chicken livers and chicken fried steak with mash potatoes,fried okra and biscuit. Let's talk about the biscuit...I was expecting a homemade fluffy biscuit but what I got was a frozen pre-made nasty biscuit. Once again very disappointed. I most likely won't be back because of the quality of today's PoFolks. I used to brag about this place😥
