These are not pupusas, they do not contain any food, they are super thin, they do not serve, the curtido is with lemon, I do not recommend it to anyone.

The pupusas are flat like piece of paper no much ingredients and curtido is like pico de gallo, for $3.50 each no match price and quality!

Horrible place, super expensive and horrible food, I even got sick with my stomach, I don't recommend it, better buy Chinese rice next door, I don't understand how they expect to have a business with such poor food,,, and poor quality, terrible service, first and last time they see a dollar of mine

I had delicious food from Peruvian food before . So I was excited about ordering from this place today. Total disappointment chicken not prepared with Peruvian seasonings and not cooked well, yuca and plantains not cooked well either. I wouldn’t recommended to no one

Terrible pupusas, they shouldn't even call them pupusas that's dough nothing else

One of the best sweet plantains I’ve had (Salvadoran style), and large portions for sides. The atmosphere is my favorite part. Very clean and homely with the walls littered in home plants and other bric-a-brac; like I’ve been invited over for dinner in their home. I would have given 5 stars if the chicken and yuca were a little less dry. With that said, I’ll be coming back!

Fantastic Peruvian foods as well as some familiar Mexican dishes. I loved the chicken with beans and plantains. Very reasonably priced and excellent service. I will be back soon.

A cute and unpretentious place for Peruvian eats. The owners are very kind and friendly. It's small but charming, with tasty food. Had the Pollo Saltado, which was classic, well-seasoned, and really filling. Try it for a nice break from the many chain restaurants in Towson.

This place did have some interesting dishes on the Peruvian menu. Food was good! Did not try the Mexican Menu that they have though.

Stopped here when passing through town and were pleased with this restaurant. The food was really good. We ordered Pollo Saltado and Churasco, with plantains and yuca. It was all very good and service was great.

A diamond in the rough!!! The food .was amazing.. great price.. juicy... flavorful... rice was cooked perfectly. TACO SALAD was huge and full of everything GOOD 😋. Tacos large and full.... didn't know it came with rice and beans... 1/2 chicken was perfectly cooked... Not dry... plenty of flavor and not salty... plantains and rice again great!! (Only thing not pictured is the taco salad... we ate it too fast!!! Lol)

It's a bit pricey, not going to lie, and the portions are not much. But I will say that the food does have flavor! The rice was great! Chicken was great! Coleslaw was great! Fries were good! Yuka was ok. And vegetables were good too!

Dont go if you're expecting original Peruvian Chicken Tamales will come with all kinds of garnishments that will be swimming in juices hard to identify It's sad because I remembered this place as one who used to be one of the best Peruvian chicken in Towson

Bought a whole chicken for $18, the site says it's $14, so that was a bummer, no sides btw. It was dry, the dark meat parts did not taste good, the breast was ok. There are better options available, like nandos and Sardis. I say, make the effort and drive a little longer for better tasting food. Sorry for the bad review but it's my honest opinion

Love this place! Instead of spending $10 at a fast food place and getting something mediocre I come here and get a whole meal that I can eat twice! Half chicken, rice, beans, plaintains, and stellar service. I'll be back!

Wow. Very disappointed in this place. I stopped in around 4:00 so hungry because I missed lunch. Ordered 3 chicken tacos. Take out only because of Covid. Tipped on receipt just because. They wanted me to wait outside....fine. When they brought the food out, I asked for some hot sauce which I love. The gentleman said it was the pico de gallo that was sauce. HMMM. Well I was disappointed. It wasn’t bad but enough for about 1 taco. I went back in and asked for more and they said it would cost another $2.00 or something. That’s just crazy when there was not enough to begin with. The overall chicken tacos were not great. Little chunks of hard chicken without the wonderful flavoring and spices I thought I would get. On top of that, they wouldn’t give me any hot sauce or pico de Gallo. Very disappointed and would not go again. Ever!

I’d call it a 4.7. Very friendly, always ready on time, and most importantly, the food is always delicious. We stick with mostly the Peruvian dishes, but everything we’ve ordered has been delicious. We try to order something new each time, plus what we know we like, and have never been dissatisfied. Excellent dishes include fried plantains, carne asada, lomo soltada, and whole chicken. Did I mention the fried plantains- wow! 😉

I did not have a good experience here. The chicken was dry. They gave me white rice. Then they gave me a tamarind drink that tasted like mildew. Not sure if they fell off because of covid-19 but, check your food before you walk out. I won't be eating here again.

Very cozy and welcoming place. For starters is not Mexican, it's Peruvian with some Mexican dishes. The servings are very fulfilling and tasty, I ordered the carne asada (grilled beef), it comes with a side of rice, beans and salad also 2 handmade tortillas. One of the best things about this place is even though the food is already cut, you can feel the freshness of it, once in your mouth. Local place, excellent service, affordable for the serving size.

Food is good but I ordered the carne asada and it states in the menu that it comes with tortillas and didn’t come with it. They forgot the most important thing to the dish, not sure if I would return or not.

Their diner is quite small, but their food is good. They have a decent sized menu and their food boasts fairly robust flavors. It isn't the best Peruvian restaurant I've been to, but it is near the top of my list when it come to food and service.

This place is a bit tucked away so I'm really glad I found it last time I was in Towson. The food is fantastic and I love the laid-back vibe of the place. The owners and employees are so friendly and really go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in the area and highly recommend this place to anyone in the Towson area!

Bad experience today. We had a whole rotisserie chicken with fries, white rice and black beans. The sides were ok. ( No fried rice at this place). I was looking for something comparable to that flavor profile you get from Sardie's roti chicken. This experience was bland. I will not go back.

One of the fewer restaurants that use a real wood rotisserie for their chicken. Absolutely the best chicken you can eat. And thats coming from someone whose main diet is chicken.

Great quality food and actually "authentic". There's enough variety of items available if you want to do something more luxurious and expensive as far as platters go and there's affordable options for those wanting to be on a budget and get some tamales burritos. 😋 ambiance is pretty quiet, and higher end.

Delicious food! Friendly service. Nothing fancy, often busy. Great to grab and go or sit and enjoy. Small inside sitting area. Most everyone speaks Spanish and the TV is often playing soccer or on a Spanish channel. Best Peruvian Chicken in the area!

The chicken is mediocre nothing special about it , the rice is dry and kind of hard, the coleslaw is nasty, if you want good peruvian food spot try the one in Towson off of Taylor avenue there's the best trust me VERY GOOD THERE . I really do not see why people posted so much good reviews here...

The best cervich and fried rice! The food is so fresh! The fish is delicate but firm. The portions are huge, but I always manage to finish them both!

Great place to grab take home Peruvian whole chicken (rotisserie coal-baked oven) dinner for the family. With two sides (fries, salad) comes out around $20 with jalapeño purée side sauce included. We usually also get fried plantains, which are like a cross of potato and banana. Owner Loredo is very friendly. Go to place during hectic weekday evening.

Malo muy malo. Pedí un chicharrón con arroz y frijoles y una pupusa... los chicharrones estaba buenos y secos, la pupusa estaba echa con queso Amarillo. La presentación del plato pésima sentí que estaba comiendo en una fonda de platos de 1 dólar. Y lo pero la comida super cara. Señores de POLLO AMIGO la comida hispana es parte de lo que nos representa en este país por favor mejoren esto.

My wife and I took our three little boys there yesterday. It's friendly, small and exactly our kind of place. Hard to find nice places like this here in the states. Great beans, great chicken, great plantains, everything we got was good It's small, cozy, and priced well.

The quality of the food was good, but the taste was bland. It was not up to what I expected from Peruvian cuisine. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I hope they put a little more effort into the seasoning of their chicken, this is a nice place.

We've been eating at Pollo Amigo for several years now. The food is always delicious. It's a little "hole-in-the-wall" type place but charming in its own way with Futbol playing on the tv. The owner and staff are always friendly and welcoming and remember what we like. Our favorites are the Pollo Saltado, a stir fried dish with chicken, peppers, onions, tomatoes and French fries, the Jason burrito and the Quesadillas, both cheesy goodness. Served with rice and black beans and their house-made salsa verde.(Their black beans are my absolute favorite. Soon good! I don't know what they do different but I crave their black beans and rice.) It's comfort food for us.

Best chicken in the world, and Blanco sauce

Wife and I were told to check it out. Glad we did. The food portions were good. We enjoy authentic Peruvian food. The Yuca and plantains were prepared exactly the way we like them. The food was served quickly and was piping hot. The waitress was friendly as was the owner. The restaurant is small for dining and not fancy, but it was clean. Bathroom was clean and neat as well. Wife really enjoyed her Carne Asada..i liked my beef dish (sorry i forgot the name) cooked in olice oil, with onions, peppers and potatoes..Price for drinks (coke and coconut water) were reasonable. Menu does not have everything available...they have a good variety of soups but we did not know until after we had eaten...next time!
