My boyfriend and I got food here yesterday and it was perfect! The chicken had the most wonderful texture, and the sides were flavorful and cooked well. The staff is also pretty friendly! I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try a new chicken place full of flavor with great quality. Will definitely go there again 😁💛

I'm originally from California, so I half way understand that the Latinos are on the rise of populating here in the USA. At the same time they must learn to speak English, the young lady ran from me cause she can't speak or understand English. That's what goggle translate is for, when I go to the country that only speaks Spanish I have to find a way to speak in their language. I'm in the deep south of New Orleans, they need to learn like I did. When in Rome do as the Romans.

The best best experience I've ever had in a restaurant! Very good service and hot and fast food, the restaurant is very clean and very nice, the cashier is very friendly with a big smile!

I bought 20 pieces, no skin or breasts, just thighs and legs, page 59 dollars, very extra expensive.

Hello, today I went to Pollo Campero in New Orleans, Louisiana. It's a shame that 1 of the 4 pieces came out raw (breast) The horchata felt sour, the ice machine didn't work. There were many flies and they didn't even bother me. It's a shame but I expected more from them. I THINK I WOULD NOT COME AGAIN.

The soda was watered down on several occasions because, as they explained to me, they did not fix the machine. The list of offers did not include the price of the things, so you had to buy blindly without knowing how much you were going to consume until the end. Despite asking the prices repeatedly, they never wanted to tell me which is to a certain extent dishonesty with the client, unethical, and dubious. It was a good place in the past, it's a shame how it has changed.

I think it deserves to be mentioned, I go every Saturday to enjoy my free-range chicken and my wife and I are really satisfied with the service provided by the lady called Blanca, it is a pleasure for me to find this service, kindness, helpful, take the orders so quickly and explains the menu clearly, see those long lines and she does not lose her kindness and her smile, I do not criticize any cashier but Miss Blanca should train the other cashiers in customer service and well the food is not even What to say: delicious, mmm I have to wait and I understand because it's the weekend but it's the quality of the food, my point is the only thing they should improve is the waiting time... this week my American bosses are going with me to enjoy... I congratulate them. I hope there will be one in Mississippi soon.

There was a long line and they told each of us that it was going to take 3 hours for the fried chicken🫠 I would have been grateful if I didn't have to wait until we got in front and waste my time

Their chicken is good , but not that good for the prices... Tried charging me $15+ for four piece dark meat chicken and one empanada.

Decided to give this place a try, and I'm glad I did. Nuggets were hot and fresh and the Mac n Cheese was on point. Only negative is the young female at the drive thru seemed annoyed that I was unable to order in Spanish

Spicy chicken sandwich was very delicious. First commercial chicken sandwich I've had that seemed natural, not processed. Very flavorful! 10 minutes to cook tells me ots the real deal. Mac and Cheese looked ordinary, but was really delicious. The mango juice drink was so refreshing! I'll definitely be back again!

Not bad. The chicken has a real nice crispyness to it. Mae's chicken in Tremé has much more flavor though.

Pollo Campero started in Guatemala and it is a really big deal, y'all just don't know! Many people are jealous that we have one in New Orleans. You should try it. The grilled chicken is very tasty. The platanos maduros (sweet fried plantains) are great, ask for those if you want something sweet. I've always gotten good service there and the employees are nice. The parking lot is a little crazy with big trucks and such. It's a little hard to get to. You have to kinda go behind the gas station in front of it. But it's very worth the trip.

The food is amazing! The service was friendly and prompt but some words in English they don't understand so many have to attempt Spanish. The a/c was broken in the restaurant so it was hot in there.

Esta es la segunda ves que visito campero y esta ves la experiencia amerita mi opinión, cuando uno visita campero espera ver la salsa de tomate de la misma marca que el restaurante, no una salsa de otra marca y la salsa verde picante también les hace falta en las mesas, además las piezas del pollo son muy pequeñas y valor agregado que las empleadas se mantienen estresadas haciendo que el mal humor recaiga sobre uno de consumidor, considero que deberían de capacitarlas para darle mejor servicio al consumidor y el aire acondicionado deberían de arreglarlo ya que el verano está fuerte y no es agradable comer comida caliente en un lugar sin aire acondicionado.

This is a unique little Latin American restaurant in Kenner. It is a unique eatery as it is dressed like a franchise restaurant, but there are no others in Louisiana, only surrounding states. The food is good, and served like fast-food. However they use real plates instead of disposable. The local crowd definitely caters to the ethnicity of the food. I only give it 4 stars because it is more like fast food than a traditional restaurant. If you want yucca fries, empanadas, and good fried chicken, give this place a try.

I live in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and every time that I visit New Orleans, I try to go to Pollo Campero to pick up 20 pieces of fried chicken. They also have a delicious sides and soft drinks. I recommend this place to eat.

My first time there. Ordered the 4 piece meal with yuka fries and plantains. The meat was so juicy and well seasoned. Will be back.

3:00pm 3/7/2023 My family went in to purchase 2 meals and we were treated with the upmost respect by the manager and the lady at the drive-thru. Lets just say they blessed our family in more ways than one and we will never forget that experience and promise to pay it forward. ALSO, AS ALWAYS THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL and quickly served!!!

Location:Williams Blvd. Kenner, LA This place is a joke. I pulled up to the drive thru window and ordered one chicken sandwich. I waited off to the side for 20 minutes before anyone came out with my order. No one else is here besides me. This is unacceptable and I will never come here again. Ever!

Fried and grilled chicken were both flavorful and moist and worth the trip. The sides were not as good. Just ok. My wife didn't eat her coleslaw.

Hot fried chicken at the drive-thru. We were looking for some great fried chicken and we decided to give them a try. we ordered in the drive-through. They took our order and the chicken was ready in moments… Still piping hot. I took the chicken home to eat it with the red beans and rice. it was admittedly different chickens and our normal fried chicken side very good. delicious.

I think I may have eaten here years ago, but I can't remember. I do remember eating at something similar to this in Orlando. I don't remember if it's the same company or not. The food was really good. I had the three piece grilled chicken with campero rice. Everything was hot and fresh. I'd definitely eat here again!!

The chicken is different from the typical. They have a baked / grilled marinated chicken and fried chicken. The baked was a bit dry and needed more of it's good flavor. The fried was excellent. Very moist. The side of rice was good and the Yucca fries were excellent! You must at least try them once.

I really liked Pollo Campero, but on 2 occasions I have had a very bad experience with the staff that attends and with the wait for the chicken to eat inside the store. The staff that attends the orders do not answer customer questions in a good way, I ordered mashed potatoes and it was cold, the gravy was strange, it seemed that it was not fresh. I would like someone from the company to read it to me so that they can do something about it. And also if you go to eat inside the store, the bathrooms are very dirty, the paper is thrown everywhere. I would appreciate it if someone would take the time to take constructive feedback into account.

Extremely slow service. Would not reccomend. Nightmare for doordash orders. Avoid and decline all orders. Also before you say some racist stuff about making the white guy wait make sure he doesn't understand some Spanish.

don’t recommend at all, the staff treated me rudely and i was just asked a question and for a to go box. They also started to make fun of my mom and reported it, customer service barely did anything about it. Also whenever i got my food it was cold.. NOT only that but the restrooms are VERY unsanitary, toilet paper hanging everywhere and they looked like they’ve only cleaned them once a year… i’ve attended to other pollo camperos but i STRONGLY don’t recommend this one . i wish i could rate it wayyy less than a star.

Food is great! It’s definitely worth the wait. This place is always packed. The staff is not super fast and they’re usually out of something and sometimes the dining room is a mess. But like I said the food is great!

I love there chicken Crispy is my favorite but the grilled one is good too.

Food is excellent but it's frustrating to have to wait for your meal 30 minutes. When I was there for some reason they were not allowing to dine in. You have to take out.

The meal itself was pretty good. But the service was poor. With only 1 other customer ahead, waiting for about 15 minutes seemed too long. The men's room was in desperate need of service.
