Okay #1 They barely speak English. #2 I hate to be rushed while ordering. The cashier in Drive thru need better Customer Service Training. Constantly asking would that be all? I couldn't get my order out good without hearing "That's it, That's all...." #3. If you don't ask for fresh chicken off the grill you'll receive Dried Burnt Cold Chicken thats been sitting under the light. No good. Also seems like its all teenagers after 5. Presentation is Important when serving someone they food. Finally I think you guys need to hiring 1or 2 English speakers. I also ordered the the Steak Bowl the Yellow Rice was very hard and old. They didn't have the sauce that comes with it. I think you should inform your customers that you don't have it in the beginning of the order so they can choose if they want to purchase it or not.

Saturday June 8, 2024 in this store at 9:30 at night, there was no chicken, and it is supposed to be tropical chicken, their main dish, apart from that I arrived at the cashier and there was no one to provide me with the service to make my order, I noticed that the staff was in their Cuban style, and before they get upset because someone asks if they can serve me. Thank you, I hope you take my opinion into account, for my part I am very dissatisfied with the service that store provided me.

After waiting 5 minutes the woman speaking for the speaker told me that I have to move my car and come back when the chicken is ready. Truly, TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE AND INCOMPETENT customer service. Hire people who even want to do their job. I have also gone other days and they are very selfish with the sauces, you order a chicken and they only want to give you 2-3 sauces, they are MISERABLE AND THE WORST OF THE WORST!!!! I have no words to express the various experiences I have had at this location, regarding food and service. This place is TERRIBLE. The last thing was that they gave us the shrimp raw inside, there was no cooked chicken and it wasn't even 9:00 p.m. yet. They never give you what you ask for, because they are always wrong. I must say that it is not all the fault of the employees because I suppose that those at the top should pay more attention to their businesses so that they work better. But anyway, it is the one that is closest to me and from time to time I have to go in an emergency.

This location doesn't care about customer satisfaction. Every single time I order delivery, I'm disappointed because they forget something or completely disregard the specifics. Tonight for example, I even wrote in all caps "PLEASE DON'T FORGET..." and listed the things they seem to always forget. Why even bother giving sauce options if they are only going to put whatever they feel like? I'm so tired of eating food that's bland because they chose to give me sauces I don't even like instead of the ones I chose. And it's not like they don't have the sauces I want, they're just lazy and inconsiderate! I'm sick of paying for things and it's left out of the order, and they take no accountability for it since it's being delivered by a third party. If businesses were held accountable for these things, and would actually get repercussions for it, maybe they would treat their customers with more respect! Last night, I didn't have time to cook, so I ordered two kids meals for my children. I didn't even buy anything for me, and they only sent one drink. One child got NOTHING. Today, I ordered two churrasco steak tropichops one small one large. The small one was ordered as "all the way", but they left out the beans. The larger one was prepared right, but the sauces requested were chimichurri which is STANDARD for steak orders and pineapple rum. PINEAPPLE RUM SAUCE IS THE ONLY PRE-MADE SAUCE, THEY ALWAYS HAVE IT!! BUT THEY NEVER SEND IT! instead what they sent was cilantro garlic, salsa and bbq.I DIDN'T WANT ANY OF THOSE. I spent about 20 minutes rummaging through my fridge trying to find anything I could add to my tropichop so it wouldn't be flavorless, and I gave up. No customer should have to experience this frustration EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY ORDER FROM A PLACE. I even tried to call ahead to remind them, but the call wouldn't even go through. The restaurant industry lost their soul. They don't care about quality anymore and it's disappointing. I should point out that I'm 8 months pregnant, so this felt extra disappointing because I had a serious craving that wasn't quenched. I don't even want to eat the food, it's making my stomach turn with every bland bite I take. And before anyone starts with the comments that I'm overreacting,.... An isolated incident wouldn't warrant this kind of review. But when it is a constant issue, over the span of YEARS, with no resolve, then I'm totally justified in my contempt over the situation. If I had a car, I wouldn't be this upset, but I'm currently in between transportation due to mechanical failures. I rely heavily on delivery services to get a lot of the essentials I need at the moment. So when this is the result over the course of a long period of time, something has got to give! Order fulfillment isn't rocket science. I worked in a restaurant for 2 years, after the pandemic furloughed me, doing car side orders. I know what the job entails and this is gross negligence. The receipt exlicity lists everything. Anything that goes unchecked or is wrong is strictly the fault of the employee and management for not enforcing proper order handling. Maybe stop hiring incompetent people, because over time this is how you ruin the image of your business. Bad employees can make or break a business, and as it stands, the overall image of this facility is that they don't care. Not about accuracy of the order, not about customer satisfaction, and not about the integrity of the company. They don't even answer their phones, which says a lot about their opinions of their clientele. I'm livid, and I deserve compensation!

Chicken was so dry and so cold I almost threw it away. The soda was also flat . Then the cashier barely spoke English I kept having to repeat myself. Total waste of time and money. Horrible service, always gets the order wrong, something is always missing. This time I called spoke to the district mngr to ensure my order wouldn't be wrg. But it did no good. Still missing what I paid for. Now I have to fight with corporate to get my delivery fee refunded because I had to go back there to pick up the rest of my order. People work hard for their money and convenience of delivery service without having to deal with receiving an incorrect or missing items from your order. It's a real shame to not ensure you have employees that do their job correctly and efficiently.

Very bad service My son was buying some Ben’s and rice and they charged him for a total different meal and it was a very high amount, then he entered the restaurant and asked for the refund and they was arguing with him so they went to my home to talk to me and the I had to go to the restaurant to finally get the refund after explaining the same thing my son was explaining at first so please be careful and check every receipt twice and look for charges of items of food you didn’t ordered

Every single time that we order from this Pollo tropical is the same issue. There’s nothing wrong with the delivery service is the fact that they don’t pay attention to the orders whatsoever. You ask for crispy chicken they give you grilled chicken, you ask for brown rice they give you white rice. It’s as simple as reading the order and making it, i work customer service for over 10 years, Ive worked at several fast food restaurants such as Papa John’s & Publix Deli… just read the instructions!! We pay money for these items, hard worked money, there’s a thousand employees in the restaurant do your job correctly, it only took 10 times of messed up orders for be to be over it and make a review.

I give it only one star because I can't give a worse rating. The treatment was horrible from an older woman who was there. I arrived at 9:30 at night and she was already throwing a bucket of water on the floor. Apparently she was uncomfortable because we arrived and there were still a couple of hours before they closed. When I went to pay in cash, they did not accept my cash and forced me to pay by card. Honestly I'm super disgusted with the poor service at this place from the costumers. Regarding the food, the beans were quite lacking in flavor and very watery.

We live close to this pollo tropical in homestead, the garbage was filled to the top, all the tables were dirty and chairs scattered all over. The management in this location has no self awareness of how the public would like to sit and eat in a nice clean place . Will not eat here again.

Yesterday I arrived at 9 at night to buy my daughter's dinner and there was no chicken ♂️ 🤷🏻 If they supposedly work until 12 midnight, why is there no chicken if there are still 3 hours left before closing? The response from the manager, whose name is Lisseth, was THAT THE BOSSES DON'T WANT TO LOSE MONEY AND WE DON'T WANT OVER FOOD 🤷🏻‍♂️,, to all of these I ask for half a chicken and Caesar salad and she tells me THERE IS NO SALAD, YOU COME TO GOOD HERE?? I mean he wanted to tell me that if I don't know that at 9 there is nothing 😒 if at 9 there is nothing why do they advertise that they close at 12?? She told me I'll prepare the food for you but you have to wait 20 minutes and I accepted, it took 1 hour and 10 minutes for them to give me my food, by the way I got home and they gave me what it wasn't and I had to go back and change it. really bad attention,,. And in that hour and 10 minutes that I was waiting, more than 8 people came to buy their food and they told her there is no chicken 🤷🏻‍♂️ I don't understand how they manage a place that way,,, My daughter didn't eat the food because She was already asleep, I had to throw her away, I wasted time, money and patience, they should be more serious and committed and not MAKE FUN OF THE CUSTOMERS in that way and at 10:30 the place was closed and the employees were looking at each other's faces without doing anything. nothing because there wasn't any food, they should close at 9 at night if they don't have anything to offer customers, really bad, really bad

Been here for a bout 10 mins waiting for them to take an order for a lady who seems to think the world revolves around her. Her coupons need to be explained to her and her order needs to be explained to her. Screw anyone in line right? Why do we allow mental illness to take over? 12/28/23 at 6:30 pm. Still cannot get my order edit: the whole ordeal took an additional 20 mins. Got my order at 7 pm. Lady then proceeded to demand all sauces available and still left shaking her head. First and last time I'll come here. I placed my order online for pickup and showed up a few mins early, I was told to come back at the pickup time which makes no sense because others were ordering on the spot and leaving with their food. The only difference with mine was that it was already paid. Then to top it off, my food wasn't great. The rice was clumped in balls, the beans were dry, the plantains were burned and it was missing ingredients. The name of my meal had avacado in it but the avocado was nowhere to be found.

I ordered online. When I arrived staff had no idea there was an online order. I waited about 20 minutes for my order to be put together. They did not have one item available so I had to substitute. I was also surprised to find that the family pkg I paid for online would have included extra items if I had ordered at the store. There was no effort to correct the issue. One of the employees started randomly talking & it appeared she was conversing with a coworker. Then I realized she was addressing me from 10 feet away. My 'I'm sorry were you talking to me I can't hear' was met with 'ya I'm talking to you' - not the most polite way to respond to a customer. Food was good but there was not enough rice for the beans. Price is good compared to other chains.

En el día de hoy acabo de hacer una orden online desde mi teléfono y cuando la vamos a recoger no aparece la orden y por supuesto ellos no hicieron nada para ayudar y resolver el problema. Y la orden estaba pagada. Tuvimos q volver hacer la orden y cancelar la anterior. Me parece q deberian de tomar medidas o chequear q esta pasando pq la verdad este sitio es bastante malo. Great job totally ruining my dinner. Ordered 2 tropichop bowls in the drive thru. Messed up both including no chicken in my CHICKEN tropichop. And why was I charged $2.29 for avocado when it’s on the ‘choose as many as you like’ option??? Very disappointed and hungry. Unacceptable! “Churrasco without chimichurri is just skirt steak” - lol! Pollo you walked yourself into that one. None of your locations have chimichurri, it’s ironic this is what y’all decided to highlight this line in your commercials. Every platform that has a Pollo ad is riddled with bad reviews. Maybe a little less efforts in mass, canned and generic replies and more into paying your teams better so that you can increase your barrier to entry and elevate your service? It isn’t that hard.

Let's talk about this pollo tropical.smh omg this food was so nasty that I will not eat here again. Everything was pushed to one side. I did uber eats.. I got a large choppy chopped with chicken and lettuce white rice and black bean, I also got camalize onion and pepper and tomato.. you can see the picture it looks great right.smh nope they gave me a child plate little chuck of chicken and a small portion of everything else. My plantains was burnt my large fried yuca was wasn't cooked. Stop rushing food please and if you could service to people you need to be slapped or closed down because I know Polltropical have better standards then what you served me today... if I served this to you would you be happy if you say yes then your Expectation is low.. I paid 37 dollars that's including the tips for the driver and delivery fees. My Actual bills is 28 dollars.. for a food that is nothing more then white rice and little black bean and a small portion of chicken that they gave you when you order a regular choppy chopped.. they give more for the regular choppy chopped but less rice and blackbean.. I know because I ate their so many time I study their portion.smh.. yea im done eating this restaurant. Not wasting my money at this place I will cooked for myself.. if you want something done just do it yourelf..

Other reviews claim that this place is under new management and has gotten better. That’s a blatant lie. Consistently this place under delivers - missing items, flat out ignoring what is being ordered. Most recently, vegan (which includes beyond meat) is missing the key ingredient, yet they didn’t mind charging me for it. Pollo corporate doesn’t care - they know what’s happening in their stores, they ignore it and the staff continues to abuse this.

I’m not from this area. I went to this “ Pollo Tropical “ because I was driving by and was very hungry. It was extremely disappointing to see how much non attention I was getting from the store staff. There were other customers waiting for their orders. The staff was having some kind of disagreement with each other in Spanish. I’m giving this establishment 1 star due to not getting acceptable service. I left without having placed an order due to the frustration I felt. Thanks for reading my review. A helpful thumbs up 👍🏻 would let me know someone really reads these comments.

Dine-in is great whenever it's slower. I didn't really know what I wanted so it was kinda awkward. Pretty crowded so maybe I'll try delivery next time.

La comida de pollo Tropical es muy buena, la atención también es muy buena, habrán clientes que verán la atención mala, porque llegan de muy mal caracter y totalmente predispuestos, la gran mayoría de las veces maltratan al trabajador, me maravilla como critican al personal joven y no joven, que si son niños y cuantas cosas más desagradables expresan de los trabajadores, esos niños que están trabajando como usted pueden ser hijos, sobrinos y hasta nietos de los que tanto critican, seamos más empatico, ayuden con una crítica constructiva y no destructiva, no todo se trata de criticar. No creo que los trabajadores de pollo Tropical sean tan malos como muchos ponen en las opiniones, respete usted como cliente al trabajador y de seguro se llevara una buena impresión. Cuando no se le da un producto, es que realmente no lo tienen, el pollo se acaba, porque segun la zona es la demanda. En lo personal le doy 5 estrellas en todos los servicios a todos los Pollos Tropical, que bastante trabajan, que deben de mejorar en algunos aspectos es cierto, pero todo no es criticar y barrer el piso con las críticas, recomiendo pollo Tropical ciento por ciento, la comida, repito es muy buena y es acta totalmente para que la consuman nuestros niños. Felicidades a todos los trabajadores de Pollo Tropical 5 estrellas y más. Gracias

This store deserve the best review it has been a complete turn around since the new manager Maria been at this location she always there no matter what time it is with great focus on giving great customer service and work very hard with her team i come during dinner after work for my family and it’s such a good consistency with her organized crew especially the young men’s at night they are such respectful she take care of everyone with great customer service and make sure everyone gets the best service I never wait a time long when she working she moves everything fast. Keep up the good work

I am giving this 4 stars because I originally placed my order in the app at 5:59pm and it said "quickest-7:30pm". I arrived around 7pm and the order didn't even show up in the screen for them to prepare. I decided to cancel the online order and place a new order in the restaurant. The order took less than 15 min... I don't get it.
