Fresh Fried Chicken was so hot I had to wait for it to cool to eat. Also, very friendly and respectful staff

First time in a long time customer service was awesome

Went to Popeyes in Bastrop, La. They play to much. Waited in line for all most an hour. It was only the car in front of me and I. It took 45 minutes for them to give me my order. Playing hanging all out the window. Giving one piece of the order at a time. And they can't even get the order right.

Order off app for food to be done at 4:09 and it was not done til 4:29. Order it a hour early to make sure it was done.

Always enjoy our meals here! LOVED the Mango Lemonade & the apple turnovers.

Popeyes Bastrop, LA. Although the food was seasoned perfectly. Im disappointed with the small size of the tenders and shrimps I received in my surf and turf. The first picture is a close up.

Food here is very good, everything else is terrible. The staff on every visit I have made here in the last year have been terrible. They are rude and crass, ignoring the fact that customers are in front of them and carrying on personal arguments and inappropriate conversations for everyone to hear. Staff acts like they are doing the customer a favor by waiting on them.

Lazy, unhelpful phone using employees with very little respect for their elders. Drive thru is normally packed because of this incompetence.

This is the SLOWEST location on the face of the earth!!! Don't come here unless you want to wait at least 40 minutes in the drive through! This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

I ordered online came to get my order and they were mad that my order was so big and it wasn't prepared. I waited an hr before I went to pick it up. I spent 85$ and didn't even get all my food, this is my first time eating at this location and I will never go back.

Popeye's of BASTROP is not at all concerned about their customers. I sat at the drive thru for 3 minutes and no one took my order so pulled around to the window and noticed all the employees were huddled around talking and when someone finally took my order I was missing my fries, cold slaw, biscuit, and my chicken tenders were original instead of spicy. Alot of people have been complaining about that place. DO THE MANAGEMENT EVEN CARES.? the food and service is horrible. Thanks for a terrible experience. Lee Jay.

Everyone loves Popeyes so its usually a long wait food is A1 though

I always love going to Popeyes in Bastrop when I go home to visit family. Their food is always so much better than the Popeye restaurants that are out of Louisiana.

The dining area was clean, and the bathrooms were clean, and the chicken was delicious,,, and staff was welcoming

Lunch order 2x 5 piece tender with Mac and cheese. The food was very good , but got fries instead of Mac and cheese. Normally, would have gone in and got it, but.... it took 13 min to get up to the speaker to order with only one car ahead. Then, paid and asked the vehicle in front of us and us to pull up. Sat another 17 min... There is no reasoning behind what took so long or apology for the wait. Saving grace was the food was very good!

Popeyes is only good in Louisiana for some reason. Food was great staff also too.

I brought wings for lunch. (Ghost Poppers)They were spicy, just like I knew they would be. The Workers need to have a better personality when working/ serving customers. They are too loud, it doesn't look good. Some were not professional. They need to be Trained, on how to Conduct themselves working with the Public.

Don't go to this location because they don't give a darn. Service worst ever! No worse then that McDonald's I wrote about 4 years ago. Shocking!!!

Not this store's fault, but they are the only fast food location for fried chicken. As a result they frequently run out of things, and the line for drive thru can be as much as an hour or more. When we were there, they only had bone in chicken, and some sides.

If your white it's a problem there. The black woman there wouldn't take my money or order she waited for the white woman to wait on me. Then the food was wrong. Ordered all dark meat spicy only 2 were to be a breast mild. Ended up with mostly white meat and all spicy.

This place has the best customer service, out of all the popeyes’ I have visited.

Always great food and rarely do we have issues with our order. The staff is always friendly. The only down side is that the wait in the drive thru is always more than it really should be. I still recommend the Popeyes for sure. Good food, good service.

Chicken was very small but cooked fresh. The service was not so good and part of our order was missing. I usually check my food before leaving but did not this day because we were ready to get home to eat. I haven't been to Popeyes for some time now because of this very thing. Always something left out of order. But this time I thought by ordering online they would get it right. We lube on the outskirts of town, so the drive back was almost not worth it.

First time at this Popeyes in Bastrop, LA. The drive-thru line was backed up that we did dine-in. Then lots of folks started coming inside the restaurant. This restaurant is really busy!! 😊

Whether it’s in the restaurant or over the phone for a door dash they are the nicest most going out of their way to get you what you need staff I’ve ever experienced. 10/10 customer service and the order is always exactly as I ordered. 🖤

Chicken sandwich was good. The chicken itself was small and mostly crust and little meat. Also only has drive thru open. Just wasn't worth the $40 I spent. The lobby is now open but the rest is the same

Love Popeyes not always a fan of the drive thru because it seems like the order isn't exactly right but I'll be back even if I don't get dipping sauce. ;-)

Food is excellent but very expensive

I’ll start by saying the food is hit or miss. The sides are smaller while the prices are higher. Popeyes I believe is the only place in bastrop that’s still closed for inside dining and this causes extremely long lines. I’m not waiting a hour for average chicken. I will not be going back to this Popeyes until they hire additional workers and open the inside back up. Maybe then they’ll have enough time to get your order correct. It’s a problem when every other fast food place in town has enough workers for inside dining but Popeyes doesn’t.

If I could leave no stars I would. Out of the last 8 months or so of going to Popeye at the Bastrop location the chicken was good and fresh One( 1) time. Even the biscuits wasn't fresh but once. The chicken was like it had be refried and hard. I really don't know if I will go back. Mainly because it cost so much and it is a waste if it is no good. If I am going to spend twenty dollars on a meal, it needs to be fresh and not dry or old.

Can't go wrong with Popeyes though it may not be the healthiest option. This location believes in filling your sides halfway and the red beans and rice is rice with a little bit of bean juice smh...but the customer service is good. No other chicken restaurant so....

We had a mistake with our order. We ordered all white and told the lady twice. However, I called back and told the lady, Evelyn, what had happened after we had pulled off (will check at window next time). The order wasn’t rang up correctly as all white even tho we told her twice. Evelyn fixed the mistake and was apologetic and very professional. Mistakes happen, but this one was corrected and the chicken was hot and fresh! Special thanks to Evelyn for making it right!

I have stop at this location many times as I pass through Bastrop and have had excellent service every time. Covid has closed the dining room option and the popularity of Popeye's chicken is very evident do to the long lines of cars in the drive thru. I am a traveler from Wisconsin and every chance I have to pick up Popeyes chicken I use it. I don't have one in my home town so have to get KFC or a local brand of chicken but known are spicy. I did ask one day at KFC if they had spicy chicken and the girl said no and no one around here sells it. I said we need a Popeyes and she replied if we had Popeyes, KFC would be closed. I don't wish for KFC to close but sure do wish Popeyes would come to La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Long wait, but the was hot but chicken wings still so small you can put two in one's mouth and still have room.

Food was hot and fresh, but they need to open lobby back up just to order food to go. They also didn't take my coupon saying I had to purchase a regular meal to use my free large side item with a family box when I been using it every time I order.
