Nice little restaurant in a good location. Many parking options nearby. We went during the week so it was not busy at all. Waiting time was good. Server (Maisy) was nice and helpful. Drinks: My wife tried the Manhattan, it was nice and not shy on the alcohol. Daughter tried the Soda-tini, it was kind of a watered down fizzy-shake, it was OK to get the underage ones to keep entertained. I've got soda water, wasn't charged for it, which was surprising nowadays. Despite it's carbonated tap water, many places are charging full price of the regular soda. Main Course: Whitefish Cakes were tasting like of undercooked dough. Side soup was not looking well but tasted good. Key Lime Shrimp had an interesting taste. Expectation was the shrimp will have the lime flavor, which was bland. Pasta sauce was too sour for my taste, overpowering tanginess at best. Boxed it for later but unfortunately went to trash in the evening. Ordered another burger to cover our appetite. Ordered 2 burgers, very good flavor, on the expensive side given the cheese is extra $2. I had side salad instead of fries with ranch dressing which turned out good. $5 substitute for salad is a little high but its taste kind of justified it. Dessert: Crème Brulee was nothing extraordinary but I'd recommend putting some fresh berries on top. Key Lime Pie was just OK. General: Double espresso is $6, single is $5.5? Google shows as $$ place but it should tag as $$$. Three of us spent over $150 for lunch without tax and gratuity. Most interesting part was 4% charge for credit card. It's been a while since I saw something like this other than gas stations charging extra for minimum purchases. Yes, it's an upscale restaurant but some of the prices are not fair. Are we going to try it again in the future, maybe. Sorry, no photos taken. Food presentation was good but not memorable.

Our service was great and food was really fun and good. Come willing to spend money and not worry about it. Only challenge was we had to send a drink back a couple times because the inside of the glass smelled like dishwater. I think maybe they store the glasses upside down and don’t dry? Bartender was really kind and said it was egg whites but we both had never smelled egg whites like that. Would def come back just wouldn’t order a drink out of a coup glass.

We saw website info above the food, chef and they have jazz band in the evening. We were celebrating our son's 23 birthday. Cocktails were nice. My son had ordered pasta with shrimps. The plate was full of overcooked watery looking tasteless pasta with 5-6 grilled shrimps for $29.99. They also don't have jazz band since Covid. So their website info is misleading.

Good food but terrible value. I shared a sandwich with my husband. Our server brought out two huge plates with a half sandwich on each plate. No garnish or sides at all. My daughter had the soup trio and the wee tiny bowls were hardly big enough to fit her spoon into. We wanted condiments however our server never returned until I flagged her down to bring us the bill. We didn’t order beverages but the bill was over $40. For one sandwich and some soup.

the ambiance of this place is like an amateur art faire mixed with a diner made into a cocktail/dinner space. Kinda weird. The food is like fine and so expensive? Like why was my basically Mac n cheese entree $26? Give this place an extra dollar sign. Extremely mid restaurant.

Poppycocks is a MUST stop when you are in traverse city. Both the drink and food menu are creative, diverse and delicious. Pretty famous for their elevated drinks and martinis. Their homemade pasta dishes are a necessity and with how fancy everything is, the restaurant comes with a laid back, family friendly atmosphere.

We’d never eaten in Traverse City. Poppycocks came up in a search so we gave it a try. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. The art on the walls was delightful to look at while we ate. Maisy took great care of us. If I lived anywhere near Traverse City, I’d come by often. I didn’t take advantage of the bar but e eryone who did looked happy with their choices.

When Red Meat is done well, it has SUCH a high ceiling for the flavor quality! You can only get so tasty with chicken or ImpossibleMeat. The Burger was well worth it and the $3 upgrade for the French fries were so much better than I thought they would be! They taste like they have found the perfect temperature and time to cook them! The building does have limited square footage of space, and the noise of a busy restaurant is loud, but it is easy to ignore once you get a taste of the burger or fries!! :D

For the money, food wasn’t that great. Have been to many area diners in TC and this had a lot to improve upon. The atmosphere is loud and staff was less than pleasant. Not many options for the kiddos. Food portions were tiny and not that flavorful. Too bad because we just were left wanting a better experience. Didn’t use the facilities but the restaurant had many tables so navigation with a wheelchair or cane would be daunting. No large print menu available.
