Wonderful neighborhood bar serving up pints , liters and laughs. Every bartender so far has been friendly, even the ones who you can tell embrace the Seattle freeze when not working. Food is tasty and the beer selection always changes a bit each time but can count on a wheat beer or bitburger to be up on the taplist anytime. Will be back many more times.

Okay, so you know when you watch The Harry Potter movies and they enter a little tiny a$$ tent and it’s like an entire magical home inside? That is PROST! You can’t tell it’s magical from the outside, but you go inside and it’s tactically dingy and perfect. 10/10.

Great atmosphere when you first walki in! The decore is vibrant and gives off a warm feeling! The duck NACHOS were delicious and not short of duck in any means! We also got the duck entree.

Hands down my favorite bar in West Seattle! The bartenders are all so friendly and knowledgeable about German beers. The manager, Angela, is always coming up for fun events at the bar like karaoke nights and live music. Would definitely recommend anyone who is in the area to stop by!

Found this place almost two years ago and best thing I’ve done. Literally moved to be closer to the place. Great events throughout the year that bring the community together. Looked after me during an Achilles rupture recovery. Management and bar tenders are exceptional.

My favorite bar in West Seattle

I’m a german( like born raised and lived in germany not my great great granddad came from germany! and I came here expecting at least a little bit of my home cuisine but it was nothing like that. Nobody in there spoke german, that’s like me opening a korean restaurant. The beer selection was okay I guess but the Bretzels were absolutely atrocious, nothing like german Bretzels, the ‘bratwursts’(If one could call that) were BOILED!!! bratwurst is fried above a grill maybeee in a pan but NEVER BOILED!! that was an INSULT to actual good bratwurst. Also the only dishes were BRETZELS and those ‘bratwursts’ that were served in a BUN (!!) get that they came in a BUNNN no bratwurst should ever come in a bun, it’s always in a small german bread that was the most atrocious dish Ive ever seen. It was just a bar with a cheap, unoriginal bad expensive horrible gimmick. Dont ever go there unless you’re only going for the drinks. You would get a better experience in a kiosk in dortmund for 4 bucks. Freaking disgusting, insulting and culturally appropriating stuff. Recently went to Prost! for the first time with a couple of friends to grab a drink, the beer was great, however the service not so much. I got in and met my friends, and they let me know we had table service, 10 min however they had not come around to get me a drink, maybe they assumed I was good because everyone else had food/drink, I'm not sure. I went up to the bar to order which took a few minutes, even though there was no wait, which I understand because they only had a few staffed. My order was eventually taken, and I will admit I got some great beer recommendations. We eventually ended up getting a boot between the 4 of us, which I will say, was a lot of fun. Overall the service wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't good. It seems like a decent place to be if it's not busy. I would come back if I was going with friends.

Waiters are great, We love the staff, the manager (right now) is poor at his job, Bathrooms are dirty, outside patio is cluttered with old heaters that dont work!
