Very expensive, obviously, but everyone we interacted with was incredibly nice and helpful. The food was out of this world. And my wife had an amazing anniversary dinner. What more could I ask for?

This was an excellent experience. The service staff was phenomenal. They were very professional and friendly. They helped guide us through the menu and ensured our dietary restrictions were not a concern at all. The main dining room and 8 course tasting menu comes with a hefty price tag but it is worth it. The food is excellent and you will certainly leave full but not stuffed. This was one of the best meals we have had to date.

By far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. The ambience, service and food was worth every penny. Delicately cooked black cod, the Wagyu was so tender and almost buttery in the perfect way. Their cocktails are heavenly and they make them in front of you. Exquisite plating skills. Don’t leave without trying the sorbet. It’s not too heavy and melts in your mouth. Perfect way to end the night. I will be back again. Now this is not just a restaurant but an experience.

There’s nothing to really add except my experience was perfect. Every bite of the tasting menu took me on a seafaring journey. The service was on point. One of the best two Michelin star restaurants in LA.

Simultaneously the worst and most expensive restaurant I've ever dined at. $1,000 for a seemingly endless 3-hour stream of awful appetizers selected by the chef, or whoever, not by us. We didn't even wait for the main course, it was so bad. Terrible experience. Almost a parody of a pretentious, awful restaurant.

I chose this restaurant for our 10th Anniversary and it was an incredible. Great atmosphere and service. Everything was fantastic. From the moment you walk in, to the seat, the service and the food it's all amazing. The best fine dining in LA.

Probably can’t say anything about Providence that hasn’t already been said. But I’ll say for a fine dining experience (which I don’t do very often): just incredible. Expert craftsmanship, amazing service, all the while in an environment that feels comfortable and accessible. Super memorable and satisfying. Also- please add the Uni Egg it’s so worth the hype.

We had an amazing experience at Providence, seated at the Chef's table. The dishes were creative and well balanced. Service was friendly and attentive and the pacing was perfect. This was one of our favorite Michelin meals!!

Such a beautiful and exquisite dinner. Went for my fiancés birthday and this did not disappoint. The cocktails were delicious and the table side preparation was enticing. The courses, while bite sized, were so flavorful and very filling. The service was the best most polite, knowledgeable, and best dressed we’ve ever seen. Definitely will be going back for future events very soon!

As always, Providence does not disappoint. It’s a lovely way to celebrate a special occasion. They go out of their way to spoil their guests. Worth the extra expense. Service is warm and efficient but we never felt rushed. Food and drinks are impeccable.

Transcendent food, great cocktails and a delicious wine pairing. My only quibble is the enormous number of extra upgrades offered. I get it for caviar and truffles, maybe, but everything else should be in the meal or not. It's not like the quantities of anything are breaking any banks - it's all the labor that goes into lovingly preparing the awesomeness. We ate at the bar and we were very well looked after by a friendly South African man.

We wanted to dine at Providence sine they were open and never have the opportunity till now! Attending a wedding at Santa Monica was a great Opportunity and we did not disappoint!! Food were delicious and service was exceptional!! Great presentation, the combination of flavors, texture were amazing!!So delicious!! Thank you Chef Michael Cimarusti!! Oh the sourdough bread!! We had to order one to go!!

Excellent service and coursing. One of one experience

We had our first tasting menu here and everything was perfection. We did not know food could trigger so many different senses! The staff was amazing!

We had a gorgeous and phenomenal course by course experience! Every selection was outstanding and thoroughly explained. The staff was exceptional and beyond attentive. Our server Carlos was spectacular and personable. From start to finish the service was impecable.

This was our second time visiting Providence, and we can't wait for the next time! The food was amazing, as was the service. We sat at the bar again, and Kim did not disappoint with his knowledge of the food and cocktails. Highly recommended!!

I had a very enjoyable meal. I had my favorite SB spot prawns and my wife said she had the best vegetarian meal.

I personally don’t think it’s worth it to dine here. I’ve been to many Michelin 2 stars (1 and 3 stars) and this is far below expectations. Most seafood dishes are cooked and come out close to overcooked. Also had better ducks and wagyu, which is their entree menu. Desserts made me speechless. Pastry chef really need to improve. Never had a macaron this bad in my life. The macarons are pretty tough. I thought desserts are hard to screw up on until this experience. It was my first time giving up on a dessert in the middle. Service is top notch though. Kitchen and servers made every effort to improve this experience, but I will not be visiting here again. Pretty heartbroken cuz I was excited to come here, but they really need to improve on the entire menu. Kampachi and their prawn (not even part of the tasting menu - add on) are only the real dishes and the rest feels like they’re just trying to get by easily. And bubbles on the dish don’t add much to the dishes, so maybe reconsider. Service is Michelin 3 stars but taste is def not.

Was given the Chef's table for my party of 5. It has full view of the kitchen so can watch the painstakingly detailed work by the kitchen staff. Dishes were beautifully constructed, and the China and utensils beautiful, varied but to the point. They even had a silver "sauce spoon" which is rare in the US but common in Michelin 3 stars restaurants in France. They baked their own sourdough bread from wheat by a local farm north of LA and make their own chocolate from cacao beans from Peru.

They’ve got it dialed in. We go every year and this year, it’s not possible to pick one dish that was our favourite; they were all phenomenally delicious. And the non-alcoholic pairing is an absolute must! With the additional spot prawns and the cheese course, the dinner ran almost three hours. Go. Get dressed up and go with your favourite person and enjoy what it is to be an adult who enjoys seafood done thoughtfully, meticulously, beautifully, tastefully and well.

Not tasty, not enough, expensive!

We had a lovely time celebrating a birthday at Providence. Unlike other two Michelin star restaurants, where they put style over substance, every bite at Providence was delicious and memorable. We didn't opt for any of the add-ons, but we felt sated by the end of the meal. The service was attentive and the ambience was nice.

Pricey but certainly a great experience. The fantastic service from , the sommelier, wait staff and the amazing, delicious multi course menu with exquisite presentation made our milestone birthday celebration a memorable event. A seafood focused menu with the option of duck breast or A5 wagyu for the meat section. Good wine list with plenty of options. The separate uni egg was as good as I remember it from a previous visit.

My wife and I went here for my birthday. Half way during the meal her stomach got very upset and had to use the restroom. After we got home she had to use the restroom again. She was not able to eat the wagyu due to the salty dishes leading up to it and the upset stomach.

Amazing experience. The execution of every dish was perfection. Definitely pricey so to each their own on whether it's "worth it" but my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Providence. Compliments to the chef, the kitchen and the entire staff!

What an amazing restaurant. The food was delicious. The wine pairing was dead on! Service was impeccable. Can't wait to go back!

I don't get it. I made resvs weeks in advance only to find when mi hijo andI arrived, they sat us at the bar, which wasn't really a bar with only two other seats there. It was sequestered. Then we spent the next hours waiting for really mediocre servings. The presentation was lazy. The food was a shrug. Mi hijo and I still use the name as a reference for a bad restaurant. We've even made it a verb. "Sheesh, we really got Providenced." And the price? LOL. Seriously? So many better places in LA.

As always, Providence did not disappoint. It is the best restaurant in Los Angeles.

Outstanding experience we had in Providence. Service was top notch and everyone did a great job making us feel special. Always smiling and providing amazing service. We were blown away with the food as well. I definitely recommend the spot prawns served table side if it's in season. Wine selection was very good as well. The wine we picked wasn't available but the somelier's replacement recommendation was really amazing and exceeded our expectations. Loved the chocolates to go as well. We will be back!

Each course was creative, using uniquely sourced ingredients or unique preparations of local ones. The service was impeccable. The staff was very warm, cheerful and possessed deep knowledge of each course. They served as our personal guides for our experience. Evidence of a lovely work environment. We truly enjoyed our experience. It is a once in a lifetime for our family The price, while certainly warranted based on the quality, the number of courses and the presentation of food, makes this a one time event. What a special place to experience, indeed.

Such an amazing experience. The food is sublime and so artfully prepared and flavorful. It is also just a delight to look at and learn about as it is presented! The service is second to none in LA. Our waiter and every server at our table was professional and knowledgeable. The room is quiet but not dull and the colors are gorgeous and not garish. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made a pleasant but subtle fuss over us. The bar service was terrific and sommelier was great (and did not immediately push the most expensive wine), he listened and suggested. Yes it is expensive but so worth it for memorable meals.

Yes food and service was good. But the above and beyond and attention to detail was what makes Providence great. The attention they provided to my son’s birthday dinner, extra side menu items and desserts, the understanding of the dishes by the serving staff and the orchestration of the entire staff was artfully effective in itself. Yes an experience well worth the cost and one to remember. To maintain this quality of food and service year after year is amazing.

What a lovely dinner. I took my spouse for a birthday dinner and was treated so well. It was late dinner and they just provided a fantastic course. I would come back again. I guess there’s a reason for their status and reputation!

I have a lot of solo dining experiences due to work travel, and this was one of the best. Not only did Providence allow me to start earlier than anticipated, they also had a delightful bartender who provided me some excellent reading material as I dined (I do like to read between dishes when I dine alone). The spot prawn are in season and very good, and the other dishes are lovely as well. Appreciate the attention to detail, including touches on the food such as flowers from the rooftop garden. Food was delicious, of course, to be expected from a Michelin restaurant. Service was impeccable. We came here to celebrate a birthday and they printed the name on the menu, and gave it to us as a keepsake. Definitely recommend for a special occasion or if you want to enjoy a really nice meal.

Fresh, flavorful, structured seafood dishes in the tasting menu - the sauces and ingredients use complement and highlight the freshness of the seafood tour. Don't overdo the bread - the chef sourced chocolate used in the desserts is amazing.

As someone else mentioned, we had reservations for 9:15PM and waited approximately 20-30 minutes to be seated. Our courses came out at a decent pace and the non-alcoholic drink pairing option was VERY appreciated. I’m not sure if it was due to it being the end of the night, but another guest was playing rap music off of their phone which we could hear from across the dining area. The staff didn’t do anything to address this and it never really got resolved until those guests stopped playing the music on their own. The food was great and drink pairings were on point. Ambiance and timeliness of service needs work though. Having been to other 2 and 3 Michelin star establishments I’ve never had to wait that long after a reservation.

Underwhelming and not to the Michelin standards of my past visits here. My waiter didn’t know half of the ingredients in each dish. Halibut was also overcooked. Cocktail menu lacked diversity & options. Overall, the menu was sleepy & lacked innovation.

Best dining expereince in Los Angeles. I have had the pleasure of dining here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. Definately not everyday dining, but if you want to celebrate, impress or just treat yourself, this experience will exceed all expectations.

Two Michelin stars. After eating the set meal, I felt that the appetizers were the best, with surprises, and then gradually became ordinary😅 But the platter is really beautiful, and the theme of the sea and trees is presented. I opened a bottle of red wine, but the next day I got a rare headache... 4 of us drank 5 bottles of water, and it felt like the water kept being boiled for us to drink 😂 The desserts were very ordinary, but I actually had some leftovers. I love desserts. It cost almost $600 per person to walk out... My friend thought this time it was not as delicious as last time.

A serious restaurant for serious eaters. Service was excellent but, in my opinion there was too much food and, although each dish was very good, there was a fair amount of similarity among them. If I had known before that there was no a la carte option, only a chef's tasting menu, I would have gone elsewhere.

The food was what you'd expect from a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Really good. The service was good, servers were attentive and explanatory of each dish. But, and a big but, at this price point.... We waited almost 20 minutes to be seated. We waited 25 minutes until our first course was served, in total we were at the restaurant for 3 hours. I'm sure it's meant to be an "experience", but the only experience we received was waiting a long time between courses. A very long time. When compared with other fine dining experiences (Alina, French Laundry) this sadly fell short. We toured the kitchen at Alinea and did not wait for more than 5 minutes between courses. Good food, friendly service but at this price point wasn't good enough to return.
