Small semi out-of-the-way sushi and Thai restaurant, with food and service much better than it looks like it might be from the outside. We didn't partake in the Thai offerings, but our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed your appetizers of crab Rangoon, pan fried wontons, and the tuna tartare. All were great, but the tuna tartare was out of this world good. Everyone, even the kids, 6 and 10 years of age, wanted every last scrap 🤣 From there we got 4 of their sushi rolls, and all were excellent. I especially recommend the Adventure roll, so good! We sat at the bar next to the owner/sushi chef. He was quite a delight to talk to, and handed us our rolls directly, which was nice. Overall, I can't recommend this place HIGHLY enough. Reasonably priced too.

A small but cozy oriental restaurant. Quiet, very friendly, clean, fresh and delicious food. No matter what option you go for, all are great. No long wait ! They are very efficient as well. Prices are really affordable.

Discovered Pump Sushi after discovering all the other restaurants nearby had obnoxiously loud music and smoking which wasn't the atmosphere we were interested in for dinner. Pump has a quaint setting with a sushi bar and about 5 tables. Our waiter was very nice. We tried the Pad Thai, some hand rolls and the Pump roll. All was delicious. If you're looking for a quiet space with good food head to Pump sushi.

I absolutely love this place!!! I’ve been coming here for over 1.5 years. I found it doing a Maps search in my area. Everyone who works here are super friendly and it’s kept clean. There’s a couple tables outside and as well as inside. New item Boba Tea!! Highly suggest eating at Pump Sushi!

A great restaurant to enjoy delicious food and have a good time! Such a chill and peaceful place with kind and welcoming staff. My husband and I always come back to have a date night. Veggie soup, edamame beans, spring rolls and sushi are our go to meals! Definitely our favorite restaurant! :)

This place it's my favorite the sashimi it's the best, fresh and delicious. I always order the sashimi appetizer with Yuzu sauce and jalapeños. Aom and Narathom are the best 🥰

Very good! Enjoyed the papaya salad, miso soup, satay, pad Thai, and ginger chicken. The Thai donuts were really good too! Lots of flavor. You can ask to modify dishes to whatever you like (I don't like fish sauce). Would definitely eat here again.

If you're hungry for a sushi or Thai it's just okay, it'll feel your belly.

I was in with my girlfriend today. Some of the best sushi I have ever had! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. We will return every time we are back in the area!

One of my favorite things is to stop here for a tie iced tea before the beach and walk over and lay in the sun! If not that then finishing up the beach day with some sushi

Sweetest souls working at this restaurant. Down to earth, friendly and the sushi was incredibly fresh. Beautiful presentation and service was wonderful. So much so, we had to come back for the homemade ice cream. A true gem in Lauderdale by the sea.

Pita and doner was delicious but ratio of doner and fries need to change. From one point onwards I felt like I am only eating fries.

My wife and I were looking for a quick bite to eat when we came across this little gem ! Food is made fresh and quick. Narathon made sure we’re comfortable and enjoying our lunch date. We will definitely be coming back !

We order delivery/take out from here all the time, in quantities enough to last a few days. Everything is Delicious...especially the diverse selection of quality sushi rolls (available w brown rice!), pad woon sen, pad Thai, fried rice (also available w brown rice or riced cauliflower), and any of the curry dishes. YuM! James and Patra are Always a Terrific help! Consistently Great food & Great customer service!

Great little restaurant. We had both sushi and Thai. The sushi was excellent and the Thai was pretty good also. Not as spicy as I would like it. I think they are using chili flakes and in Thailand they use fresh chili. Nice staff also. Would come back.

The food and service were great. The place is small and a little unsophisticated.

They have great service and a nice atmosphere. I went here by accident to use a bathroom but ended up staying. Often refilled my drinks and was very kind.

We got take out here and were very exciting eat sushi, however next time we will pass and go somewhere else. The ingredients, especially the shrimp were not fresh.

I’ve been coming here for some time now and it’s always consistently awesome. Family owned business, so you’re recognized when you walk through the door. Highly recommended.

This is the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The cashew chicken had NO cashews. The ginger chicken that I ordered with NO mushrooms was full of mushrooms. The chicken tasted rancid. And when I got my delivery it was ICE COLD. I live less than 2 miles away. Plus delivery was 6.99 not including a tip. Please, please, please stay away from this place if you want good food. I will be calling the bank tomorrow to dispute this charge because I called the restaurant 6 times with no answer. I just hope I don’t end up in the hospital with food poisoning!

The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is because it's pretty small inside, it has some outdoor seating, but minimal... otherwise, the food is delicious, very fresh and made with care, reasonably priced and the wait staff and personnel are very friendly and helpful and in a good mood! It's also a little hard to spot the restaurant from the street, it's more on Sea Grape than Commercial (on the South side of the street) though the address says 'Commercial'.

This is a restaurant near to the downtown of Lauderdale by the Sea. Pleasant and friendly stuff and most importantly, DELICIOUS FOOD.

I order spicy chicken fried rice to go, they say it's going to be a while and that's fine. I finally get it, drive home, it's not spicy. I drive all the way back, inform them, she then hands me a small container of red pepper flakes. I ask why wouldn't they cook it into the fried rice and they say they just shake a little red pepper on top to make things spicy, it's never cooked into the dish.... What kind of Thai place doesn't know how to make spicy food? This one. A bad one. I guess icing on the cake I ordered extra chicken and there's like 3 slivers of chicken in it, I'd hate to see what non extra chicken is like. Avoid here, fake reviews clearly.

Great small place with fantastic sushi

We were a group of 5. We ordered noodles (perfect) and 7 different rolls. Everything was amazing!!

Pretty good, nothing remarkable

Surprisingly good Thai and decent sushi rolls. The Thai food was all very tasty. The chicken satay skewers were definitely worth trying. Chicken fried rice had a great taste. The Pad Kee Mao was requested "Thai hot" for me, but it wasn't that spicy. Still tasted great. The noodles were cooked to perfection. The service was great. The sushi was reasonably priced and decent. They're focus is not on the sushi, but it's a nice addition and wasn't bad. Normally priced for somewhere fairly close to the water in Fort Lauderdale. Very clean. Parking available right in front.

I give 4 instead of 5 stars bc i ordered the cauliflower rice MEDIUM SPICY and HOLY HELL I'm still sweating and my nose is running as i write this...its way to spicy... i love spicy but this was a little much. The tuna roll was excellent!! I'll give another try someday... also i dont think it's fair to give 1 star like the reviewer did below because there was a mishap with her delivery. Mistakes happen and this is no reflection on the actual quality of the food whicu was very good

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in town - LBTS. We have been ordering from PumpSushi&Thai for more than a year now, the food is always very good and very fresh and always on time. The people are very friendly and made it easy to order online during the pandemic. We like everything we have tried: pork and shrimp dumplings, fried rice, pad-Thai and the curry dishes are my favorites.

small place you could easily walk past if you didn't know it was there and away from the busier 2 intersections of that area. food was delicious, staff was kind and locals seemed to all know each other giving the place a less than touristy feel.

Great Food and exceptional service. We had the Squid Pad Thai Level 3 of spice was just the right amount of spicy. My wife had the Shrimp Panang Curry which was also delicious and the spring rolls were great. Our waitress was awesome very outgoing and nice very attentive with us. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes Sushi or Thai Food. I will definitely be back for more.

It was fresh and tasty as far as the sushi i had. Prices were reasonable for the location. The fried calamari was disappointing. I felt like I was eating fried dumpling. Otherwise I would eat there again if I wanted sushi, just avoiding that fried calamari next time.

Menu is incorrect on Google. Most prices are wrong. Inconvenient experience for the customer to have to find out afterwards that the grand total is more than expected. I understand the online website has the correct menu. BUT I should not have to be told AFTER my meal is made, that my order will cost more money, due to the restaurant not having the authority to update their google business page with correct menu information. Seems rather ridiculous.

Hands down one of the best sushi places in SFLA... Cozy atmosphere, great service and the sushi is prepared fresh and with care. Will now be my go to spot for Sushi amd Thai food!

Such a wonderful place! My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner during our vacation. We love Thai food and had to give it a try. It was some of the BEST pad Thai I had ever had, and I eat a lot of it! It was so flavorful and just the right amount of heat at level 3. The tuna roll was the perfect amount and tasted so fresh. But the people that worked there made the whole experience so amazing. Greg made sure to ask our names and continued to make everything feel so welcoming. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I can’t wait to come back on our next visit!

I've now enjoyed Pump Sushi and Thai for the past 3 Fridays...two times take out and once seated inside. All meals my partner and I have enjoyed immensely, the same excellent standard each visit and we will continue to frequent this delicious restaurant. The owner is friendly, the staff is attentive and the food is always ready for pick-up as promised. I highly recommend this establishment!!

Great staff. It shows immediately. Super friendly and outgoing. My favorite restaurant in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea by far. Great for small parties that want to eat wonderful food. Their Salmon is incredible. Sapporo cold, crisp and refreshing. Very happy with this happy hour. Update: I had to come back to say - holy wow, their hand rolls are just PERFECT. My wife stopped by and ordered some vegetable fried rice for herself. The guy asked her if she wanted it spicy, she said yes. She also ordered some tuna sashimi for me. My wife said it was the best rice she’d ever had (it was spicy enough to make her nose run). The tuna I had was the best sashimi I ever had. Looks like we will be making this one of our regular stops!

Was on vacation here to see my kids. They wanted sushi so I saw this place and it was great! The waitress was fun and nice. Told here we were from indiana and she also explained why they had paper straws. My kids and I loved the food and experience.

8/9/2020- wow another great meal. From p/u.we had. Edamame, Thai Garden salad with ginger dressing ( yum ) . Miso soup big pieces of tofu. . Two Volcano Krap rolls ( 10 pieces ) plus a Mexican roll also ten pieces. So fresh . Nice size rolls. Packaging came with chopsticks napkins plenty of soy sauce very nice

This place is a hidden gem. It's just south of Commercial on Seagrape with authentic Thai food. You'll have to look a little to find it, but it's worth the hunt. This is where locals go!
