We ordered our food online and it said it would be ready in 30mins. However we waited and additional 40mins for pur food to come out. The cashier was nice but there was no urgency to getting me taken care of. I could been compensated with something but nothing was offered. Customer service should be better and pay attention to there customers when it's there fault that the order was not ready.

Delicious food , remind 😋 of grandma's cooking and my mom's.

Nope I paid for Sopa de res and only had Yuca and corn for vegetables no carrots no cabbage no zuchini we also ordered enchiladas and they were bad the chicken was bland not well prepared I can only reccomend the pupusas at this location try the silver spring branch they have better taste

It is a very pleasant place, many families go to eat there, the pupusas are good, they serve you very well, it's just that my friend didn't like the chicharro because it was very hard, it seemed as if it had been through the candle again, as well as when it was reheat a meal from the previous day, my friend was upset

I totally do not recommend this restaurant! I went to eat here with my mom and a friend. We ordered two chicken soups and they served it cold, then we asked to heat it and they heated it in the microwave, (horrible) plus it was already stale, all sour, a soup that was all spoiled, and the rice that came with the chicken soup was also ugly, They don't sell fresh food, made the same day! A disappointment.

I do not recommend this Pupuseria, the pupusas have been given to me raw 4 times already, they have even treated it out of evil, it is not fair, all of this has made me sick, I do not give it any stars. Don't buy there, I have complained and they don't help you, they don't care about the customers

I brought my family to eat breakfast and all the food they gave us was preheated, the bananas were all frozen and stiff and the French bread was hard, I don't know how long they've had it because unfortunately it's not good and the Pupusas they gave me were burning and wrong, not good, take everything into account. because they pay for good service and food

Tuesday June 11, 2024. We were received like never before in a restaurant, no matter how simple it was. They said we couldn't bring a glass of coffee inside the Pupuseria. And the person who told us did so in a rude manner. We are not everyday customers but we attend from time to time because we live about 30 minutes away. But we won't get there again. Have a nice meal. All.

I went with my family to eat “pupusas” if you can call them pupusas the raw dough and they tasted pretty bad at the end, their tomato sauce looks like water, the service is terrible!!!!

Most of the time in restaurants, where spanish people offer customer service, they are not polite and helpful, they act rude and like if they giving food for free.

I want to share my experience that I had today when I arrived at this place. The staff has terrible service, they have an angry face and they only work for the sake of work. There is no customer service and the woman who called herself the manager has a horrible attitude. to take a pill and he told me in front of everyone that I didn't have to come in with any drink but it was only water and this attitude really struck me as pathetic on the part of his staff in case people don't want to know anything about their business and with this terrible attention from their staff and I am going to take it to television so that everyone knows what terrible attention from this business and that no one visits them because of such terrible attention

We ordered 15 pupusas from this place. We got revueltas, cheese and pork, two orders of yuca with chicharrón. The pupusas were burnt barely stuffed with any meat , cheese , or anything. Just had a bad taste. The yuca and chicharon was terrible . The yucca came soggy and the pork was overfried to the point it was burnt. The pupusas at this place taste bad ! The horchata was watered down so much . Save your money and find a better quality place that cares about making good pupusas to serve their customers . Very dissatisfied I spent so much money on this food for it to taste so bad !!!!

El martes 1/16/24 mi esposo pasó por Dońa azucenas de laurel me compró un pollo encebollado. Y cuando abrí el contenedor estaba la pechuga de pollo con la cebolla quemado. todo tenía muy mala apariencia, No se que les pasó, regular mente su comida las pupusas son muy buenas. Se que están muy ocupados pero pongan un poquito de atención en la manera que mandan o sirven la comida.

The food was poorly cooked and the meat I ordered couldn't be eaten, it was hard and burnt and the very hard cassava wasn't fresh or freshly cooked. What I ordered was good and I have photos of a pupusa that had a hole in it and it left me. I break my tooth

The food is not bad, but they keep the music very loud and when you go as a family it is uncomfortable since you can't even talk without shouting.

It’s a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good. Others it’s not. The staff are always friendly

Pupusas were delicious. Tamales steaming and hot. Plantains fried perfectly. When I walked in, I was greeted quickly, and my order was taken.

The pupusas were amazing, had both chicken and cheese and pork and cheese. Also their steak tacos were fantastic. High recommend trying this place.

It's a very busy place. Definitely need to call 30 minutes in advance before take our order, and prepare to wait for a table. Food: cheese pupusas are great, the others are okay. Chicken sandwich is good. Carne asada is just alright, they have low grade of meat, very chewy. Service: Average, depends on how busy they are. They get overwhelmed. Most busy days are weekends. Went on Monday evening, no wait to sit, food came, quickly, and good service.

Nos habian recomendado Dona Azucena y visitamos la pupuseria de Laurel MD y Herdon . La atencion a cliente muy pesima en Laurel y esperamos mucho tiempo por nuestra orden. Ordenamos carne y la carne estaba dura y tambien ordernamos chicharron y el chicharron estaba quemado. La caildad de la comida ha bajado mucho de este lugar. Tambien visitamos la pupuseria que esta en Herdon esperando mejor calidad en esta, la atencion al cliente en esta pupuseria esta mas o menos . La carne de este lugar tambien esta dura, arroz duro y frio y la sopa que ordenamos estaba helada. Esperamos que mejoren la calidad de la comida de estas localidades que visitamos , los restaurantes estan muy bonitos pero el servico al cliente y la calidad le falta.

This is one of those places where the food is good but customer service falls short. The waitress was so impolite and defensive that I will seek out a different Salvadoran diner to savor pupusas. To the owner, I recommend to provide waitress basic customer service training. You have a good product but your employees are doing you a disfavor.

Used to be our weekend food before the pandemic, I have been back a few times lately and food don't taste the same, neither the service, 1/4 of the menu not available anymore, seat wherever you want, no physical menu, Carne Asada still great.

This is our go-to place for pupusas! They are the perfect comfort food: soft and warm with just the right amount of filling (love the bean and cheese). I was also told these are gluten free (corn and rice flour). The slaw is flavorful- I always order extra!

This is a culmination of experiences with Doña Azucena's Pupuseria in Laurel. I'll start with the good. They are excellent at making pupusas. They're are delicious. They're always fresh and they're not super greasy. Now to the bad, and it outweighs the food quality. I have ordered pupusas amongst other items from this location maybe 6 times in the past 2 months. The location is an absolute mess when it comes to online orders. I can't wrap my head around how orders can come out inaccurate when an online order is placed. The ticket is itemized. It specifically tells you what is on the order. A friend ordered with me at the same time. Our food was ready but missing items. My friends food was never ready. It took an additional 30 minutes to get his order out. Remember I mentioned that their pupusas are excellent. Order that. Do NOT order their carne asada. It was bland, tough and overcooked. My son just started eating pupusas. He loves his pupusas de queso y frijoles. He wants them every Friday. We placed an online order at 4:44 pm. I show up around 5:25 pm and was told that there is no order for me. Then I was told that their online ordering hasn't been working since 2 pm. Why is it still active? Turn off online ordering and take phone orders. I resubmit my order in person and they take my name and number. I make a quick errand and it's another 35 minutes after the fact. It's 6:22 pm and my order is chillin on the counter. I asked the guy what was the purpose of you taking my name and number and NOT call me when my order was ready? He just laughed it off. I'm not asking for much, just some better customer service. I can't order from a place that is so unorganized like that. Order online at your own risk. Stay away from everything else on the menu. Stick with the pupusas. Place your order over the phone and triple check your order. Enjoy!
