Horrible service 🫠 don't go, ugly and expensive food

Authentic and freshly made dishes

First there was not AC, it was 100 F inside, then I asked for a diet Coke and Mojarra, I check the Diet cokes and they were expired like 3 weeks ago. I got the mojarra and it was very awful, it taste like it was made hours ago and about to get rotten, I left all food as it was, let the owner know that the Cokes were expired and the fish was in bad condition, She didn't take attention to the issue, charged me anyway, so I pay in full, left and never come back again... $26 for a rotten mojarra and horchata... think about it!!

BEST pupusas in Virginia, hands down! The pupusas are filled with so much meat and cheese, you'll be full off of just 2! If you're in the area, drop by....it's a MUST try!

Very good place, a great menu, this Thursday I went to eat for the first time with my girlfriend and I loved it, I recommend that you go and see the place, the food tastes very good

Best papusas we've found in this part of Fairfax. Small corner place. Bathroom is pretty small, but very clean. We typically get take out.

I don't know, but my family and I love the food at that place. We've been there several times and blessings will continue to come.

No major concerns with quality of food. Place has only 3 tables and seats at most 12, not counting barstools. Glad they reopened for Sundays.

The food was too expensive, and the cashier lady was dirty. Just when I arrived to pick up the food, she was blowing her nose and that's how it happened and she paid me without washing her hands. Then she went to turn the pupusas without washing her hands and my husband also saw her. The day I put my fingers in the pot of beans and tried them, I think it's too dirty to charge me 49 dollars for 2 ribs for beef and 450 taxes. I hope the lady takes the time to look at the comments so she can correct them eventually. He wanted to charge me for a little sauce, lady, be more careful.

I'm being there twice on 10 years...I place a order over the phone for pupusas; 1st time they tall me going to be ready on 20 minutes.,.I get back there after one hour and order wasn't ready...2nd. time, yest order was ready on 20, but but food was rotten spoiled that I have to trash it everything...Smell like a dead animal...

Excellent pupusas! But only if you like them generously filled with good quality ingredients and fried to perfection haha. Love this place and been to many many others. Simple atmosphere but don’t let that dissuade you. Super friendly staff. This is my go to and should be yours!

The restaurant may be small, but it has a cozy, homey atmosphere. The customer service is excellent. The pupusas are not only big but also incredibly delicious. I ordered the 'Locas' variety, which combines meat, beans, and cheese, and they were absolutely scrumptious. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming family-owned restaurant.

Excellent authentic pupuseria. Unpretentious, typical old school diner with a very small area for dining. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pupusas are huge, made to order and super tasty

The server and the cook was really nice and attentive. We sat at the bar. We could see them cook. The food was good. We had a hard time communicating because they could not speak English at all. My husband enjoyed the food. Kinda overpriced considering the dining area cleanliness and food quality was not good.

Small, friendly restaurant with good Salvadoran food. Good for dining with a friend, not enough space for more than a small group if eating in.

Wow, this place is a true gem! This is authentic Salvadoran cuisine. The pupusas, rice, beans, and fried pork with yuca were fantastic. The horchata was great too with the perfect amount of sweetness. The decor is super cute with photos, napkin holders, and other items all from El Salvador. Really recommend this place if you’re looking for Central American food. The portion sizes are large too.

The food was delicious. My kids were so hungry that they dug in before I could get a pic. We had pupusa's, a chicken tamale and chips and salsa. Let's just say no crumbs we're left behind. It's a very small restaurant/ hole in the wall but offers dine in with about 3 tables.

Pupusa here is decent. This is really a hole in the wall place which makes decent pupusas.

The place is small but don't let it fool you, they make the best pupusas out here in VA. The best, chunky pupusas you'll ever find. They might feel expensive but it's totally worth it. Don't go complaining about people character or why there's no AC. Just get you dang food and go.

What a great little spot! The pupusa, tamale, and rice/beans were perfect. The service was lovely. It’s a great little hole in the wall. We’ll be back, for sure!

Surprisingly good food. The pupusas were stuffed. The only negative was having to eat with plastic utensils.

Tiny dining area and hot with no AC or circulating air (27Aug22:1700) I had the “Plato tipco” it was decent and filling but the pupusas were greasy than I'm used too. The bean and rice were alright too.

One of my favorite restaurants in Fairfax. The Lomo Saltado, Chicharrón y Yucca, and pupusas are all delicious, some of the best versions of those dishes that I’ve had in NOVA.

The pupusas really are the best item on the menu. My mom enjoyed the beef tongue tacos just as much as the pork and cheese pupusas. They cooked everything fresh off the grill but when we asked for the extra pupusas to go they pulled it out the fridge and microwaved it…

The food is good, but don't use the online ordering. I tried ordering online in early 2022 and got a confirmation email, but the website didn't pass on my order to the restaurant until an hour later.

A true hole in the wall. The Popusas at this place are amazingly delicious. The other menu items are okay, their Lengua tacos are not bad. I was not a fan of their Lomo Saltado. I highly recommend this place for their Popusas, you will not go wrong eating any of the Popusas options they have. Enjoy!!

Visitamos este lugar en un capricho y aunque metido en un centro comercial de aspecto desgastado, la comida es increíble! Los mejores pupusas que he comido y luego hacerlos desde cero al ver! La sopa estaba reventando con verduras frescas y un rico caldo. No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre esta joya diminuta. No parece mucho, pero estas personas saben cómo cocinar!

Este restaurante está escondido en un centro comercial, pero es absolutamente la pena conseguir una mesa para disfrutar de una deliciosa comida auténtica. Se puede encontrar de todo desde Bean y queso pupusas sencillo a un pargo frito entero. Nada de lujos, pero sin duda muy sabroso.
