Just a unique experience of Middle East/ African tastes and flavors. Veggies and spices lovers will be fulfilled. Beef and fish option are very tasty. Most importantly, everything is homemade with no chemicals. Service is low and authentic. Have fun there!

100/100 recommend for date night. For this first visit and experience with Ethiopian food we enjoyed our meal. My partner and I don’t eat much shared the pastry starter and chicken main and felt satisfied. We also tried the delicious honey wine. Ambiance, curb appeal and facilities are 10/10. Felt like a cultural journey. And the service also also warm and friendly.

Tonight was the second time I’ve been here and my family loved it. It can be a little slow, so please be patient. I believe there are only three people working there, but they are super friendly and it’s worth it. Appetizer, Sambussa meat. Entrees siga tibs, Asa tibs and doro wot are all great! Get the vegetable sampler to try all the other yummy items, keep in mind you get 1 side with each entree

Queen of Sheba is a completely unique and delicious dining experience. If you're not familiar with Ethiopina cuisine, it is served with Injera, a spongy bread, which also serves as your utensils. That's right, you get to eat with your hands. The vegetarian options are amazing, and be sure to order any dish that has lentils. Our charming server explained the options and even told us his favorites. Doro wot is the national dish, and it's a fragrant aromatic spicy chicken stew. It was such a great dining experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff are the real deal.

One of the very few Ethiopian restaurants in South Florida but still maintaining excellent service, quality, and dining experience. I had the quanta firfir sometimes just called firfir which is a mix of dried beef, the spice berebere, onion, tomato, and injera (the Ethiopian flatbread. This was simply excellent. I know the owner from my years of living in Ethiopia. She continues to work hard finding high quality ingredients in local farmer's markets. She also carefully evaluates which tiff supplier give the best quality product to make enjera.

Great finding, if you cook as much as I do, you start getting interested only on great food spots and Queen of Sheeba will be a worthy place to return. The place is worth visiting on the ambiance alone, given how cozy and warm the place feels (You'll see some of the pics at the end). Besides that Ethiopian food is fun to try given it looks like it's intended to eat food mostly by hand with Injera: Ethiopian flat bread, that is very distinct to most breads people will be acquainted with. Flavor wise the food will feel closer to Indian food given how spicy it is but I mean that as a compliment. Asa Tibs (The fish on the menu) is the crispiest moist fish I've ever had and the chocolate mousse cake even though not Ethiopian traditional it slaps hard. To top it off the owner (Jolo) is really nice and really welcoming. My brother and I spent a good bit after eating, speaking with her about the different decorations they have on the restaurant as well as some insights on how the Injera gets prepared. Word of caution, the restaurant is small so do make reservation specially if you go over the weekend. P.S. There's a small parking lot to the right of the local's entrance.

I have enjoyed Ethiopian cuisine for many years at different locations. I decided to try this one in my area. At this restaurant the employees were very friendly and helpful. The service was average. I did not meet the owner as she just bypassed my table for the tourists; I live in the area, but I can forgive that. Will all that being said I would have returned here however, there is a colossal difference with this restaurant versus the many others -- the portions were entirely too small as well as the dish the food was served on. This is a charming, home-like restaurant with delicious food. You walk under a bougainvillea canopy from the parking lot to the front door. It is nicely decorated inside. There are plenty of vegan options on the menu. Between the array of lentil and greens dishes, eaten with teff flour bread (injera), the meal is nourishing and energizing. She said that she didn’t confirm the reservation with us; remind y’all it was only my family in there along with one other family so it’s not like they were busy. This is one of the very few genuine Ethiopian restaurants in South Florida. After having lived in Ethiopia for a decade I can say undeniably that this restaurant has authentic cuisine has healthy, flavorful, and generous portions. If you want a fork they will supply it but most here traditionally eat the appetizers or main course using pieces of hand held injera which is gluten free. I had the tibes which is cooked, spiced meat with onions. This was accompanied by gomen, a traditional rainy season cooked spinach with spices. I also sampled the kitfo, a traditional raw or slightly cooked, grounded beef similar to tartar. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife who started in 2016 who come from Jima, Ethiopia. They give personalized, courteous and friendly service. The hours for lunch and early dinner are limited so check the website. There is a spacious parking lot owned by restaurant immediately adjacent.

Queen of Sheeba Ethiopian restaurant, nestled in the Historic Northwest of West Palm Beach, truly reigns supreme in its domain. From the moment I stepped foot into this remarkable establishment, I was captivated by its warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere. The culinary experience at Queen of Sheeba is nothing short of extraordinary. The menu boasts an array of authentic Ethiopian dishes, each meticulously prepared with love and attention to detail. The flavors burst with freshness, transporting me on a tantalizing journey through the rich tapestry of Ethiopian cuisine. Whether it was the fragrant injera bread or the tantalizingly spiced Doro Wat, every bite was a revelation. What truly sets Queen of Sheeba apart, however, is the exceptional service. The staff is not only knowledgeable about the menu but also exudes a genuine warmth and friendliness that made me feel like a cherished guest. They were more than happy to provide recommendations, patiently explaining the various dishes and their cultural significance. Their passion for their craft was evident in every interaction, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. The attention to detail extended beyond the food and service. Start with the Sambusa's of course, the sauce was so good and then hold on to your hat for an incredible journey! Of course the Sambusa's were just a start to one of the most enjoyable meals we have ever had. Thanks to the owners for following your Heart, I look forward to coming back for years to come! Oh, and to the James Beard Committee, Queen of Sheeba is an equal to any of the restaurants you have selected and I can't wait until they make your list, but was so impressed that they were acknowledged by the organization anyways. Funny thing is, and I can see by the reviews, the public has already voted that the Queen of Sheeba is a James Beard caliber restaurant already! God Bless!

I went for dinner on a Friday night around 5:30. The place was almost filled by 6pm. This was not only my first time at Queen of Sheba, it was also my first time eating Ethiopian food. It was excellent. I just moved from Los Angeles with thousands of top notch, culturally diverse restaurants and did not expect to find this gem in west palm beach! The decor is really nice. You felt like you were somewhere else. I was also pleasantly surprised by the crowd. It was extremely diverse. It was nice to see people of all backgrounds enjoying themselves and something different from the norm. You’re encouraged to use your hands for the meal. However; forks are available on request. If you’re vegan or vegetarian- this menu is ideal! There’s many dishes to choose from. I recommend the sampler. That way you can try several things. The Ethiopian beer was good too. My vegan boyfriend and I felt incredibly catered to, as there was so much option for us - a special note to add are the Ethiopian beer options which were tasty and authentic. Fully recommend this place, a hidden gem!

Every time we go there it is absolutely delicious! Even the beer, wine, and coffee were authentic. Has the veggie sampler and the native chicken dish.

This place is an absolute HIDDEN GEM!!! Chef Lojo and her sister are so welcoming and warm. Meeting them the first time and you feel like family. Everything was incredible from the 5 different vegetable dishes we tried, meat dishes, chocolate mousse cake and even the Ethiopian tea! Chef Lojo spends 5 days preparing the Injera which is both food and serving utensil in one. A fermented Teff grain based sourdough flatbread that is spongy, tangy, sturdy yet chewy...I LOVE THIS STUFF! I would highly recommend anyone wanting delicious food and a warm environment come here and try it out!
