Phenomenal BBQ! Every single item was delicious and cooked perfectly. They offer 3 different sauces to accommodate preference on vinegar based or mustard based, the third being their sweet heat was my favorite. Staff were awesome and super friendly. Would recommend!

The food is amazing. We had the ribs,brisket, collard greens and Mac and cheese. All of it was on point. What caught us by surprise was the collard greens I’ve never had them that way and was hesitant but boy am I glad we got them. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable especially based on the quality of food. Even the customer service is great from the cashier to the cook. Run there don’t walk lol.

It’s Crazy I been Going here for years this was the worse I took a picture I am trying to upload we paid 43.00 for 4 oxtails they say it was weighed then I asked where is my Mac and greens they then told me that the 43.00 Did not include sides please go cook your own and they put BBQ sauce on them the Tall young Guy got a Attitude and told the chubby guy he was not about to negotiate with me and sat down so I already knew it was no help only thing he cared about if I wanted the sides u have to pay more I can not believe I just paid 60.00 for oxtails rice and 2 sides this place is going down Bad DAD CONE TAKE OVER YOUR PLACE BEFORE YOU LOSE IT

Been hearing about Rack City Ribz for a while now but tbh any time someone claims BBQ is good I'm usually disappointed. Well that was NOT the case here!!! I had the ribs, mac and cheese, and their cornbread casserole and every bite was DELICIOUS! The ribs, the ribs, THE RIBS.....BBQ sauce is optional because it's certainly not needed. Very tender and full of flavor all on their own! The mac was mac and cheesing and that cornbread casserole was super yummy. The staff was very attentive and kind as well. 100 out of 10 RECOMMEND! JUST GO!!!!!!

I tried Rack City and it's the best bbq I've had since moving to Tampa from KC. Ribs, brisket, sausage, and brisket all well seasoned and super tender. Ribs especially meaty!! I'll be back no doubt!!

Really not understanding what these people are doing they are cooking with a electric smoker and saying its barbecue this is a bad way to misguide real authentic food. I ordered almost everything off the menu and was completely disappointed especially for how expensive the menu is and the portions are small the kids bowl need more food. Everything tasted like it was baked in the oven very little to no smoke flavor on any of the meat and the sides were just as bad the collard greens tasted like brake parts cleaner and the peach cobbler tasted like it came from the store not homemade please be honest with your customers and get a real smoker and quite putting liquid smoke on your meat and Misguiding the local community.

This is the best BBQ in Florida. Family business and father have raised his young men to be gentlemen. It's always excellent food. I highly recommend RCR. Once you order, the food is brought to your vehicle.

The food was amazing. I am not from Florida originally. I have to say this is the best barbecue I’ve had in Florida. The service was very good and the atmosphere is fine. It’s a food truck so you get your food and you can take it home. The only complaint is, I purchased the meat madness special and two additional sides. It’s supposed to come with bread, but they forgot to give me bread. Other than that, it was very very good. My wife and I will be coming back again and will tell others about this place. Thank you.

Tried this place for the first time today after reading all the reviews. The ribs were on point. The pork was seasoned just right. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The sausage are some of the best I have had. You must try this place. Two thumbs up!!

This place is fantastic, I have watched Al on Tic Tok for nearly a year and always said if I made it to Tampa I would eat here. I was so happy with everything. Not only was everything we ate amazing, Al was a very friendly guy and genuinely cares and is proud of what he cooks and serves. Brisket is so delicious, as is sausage, pulled pork, chicken and ribs. The sides of peach cobbler, potato salad, baked beans and the greens were top notch. Love this place and will come back annually when I come down for spring training.

First time eating from Rack City Ribz after seeing different social media posts/reviews about them. I decided to try the smoked oxtails with white rice and mac n cheese. Not everyone knows how to make good oxtails including some of my 🇯🇲 people. But, I was surprised by how good those smoked oxtails were. The mac n cheese was cool, made a bit different but still good. The cost was definitely pricey. The portion was decent, could've been more for the price but it was filling. I would eat there again. Update: Tried the junior meat madness combo (2 meat, 2 sides) ribs and chicken with spicy BBQ sauce. It was really good, the meat was tender. Two sides were mac and cheese and potato salad. Didn't like the potato salad, it tasted like store bought vs home made.

Best BBQ in the Tampa Bay Area. The sides are fire! Favorites are the baked beans and greens. The smoked chicken is perfectly seasoned and so smoky! Every sauce adds to the flavor profile of the meat. And the specials!! The smoked seafood gumbo is out of this world. I came back for the smoked oxtails and can’t wait to dig in!

We had a Christmas luncheon for 30 staff members. Rack City Ribz delivered our food hot and ready to go. We had ribs, smoked chicken, shredded pork, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, greens and potato salad and everything was delicious. There was so much food. We had a luncheon again the next day! This was my first time eating food from this business but I will be eating it again!

Yep, this the spot fr. Let's start w the sauces: Mustard based sauce, amazing The vinegar based sauce prolly my favorite if not the mustard based. Both of these are absolutely A1 perfect. The hot bbq sauce is right up there along side. But you gotta want the 🔥 The RIBS omgg to die for LITERALLY. Brutally honest, the brisket (I'm a die hard brisket fan) was a lil on the dry side for brisket but it was still phenomenal. The chicken tho.... The chicken hands down is right there. If you want juicy chicken, I'm telling you don't go nowhere else. Chicken is naturally on a more dry meat but this IDK HOW but it's soooo damn juicy.. all the way down to the seasonings they put in these. You'd think these some drugs the way I'm bout to be coming back. Gonna be honest they're very pricey but definitely worth the extra duckets.

I had the St Louis ribs or ribz. They were perfect I mixed their vinegar and sweet sauces. All I can say is Wow!!! I also had the corn bread casserole and bake beans. I highly recommend. I will definitely eat hear again.

I got the brisket, potato salad, and Mac and cheese. It was okay to say the least. My food was cold after getting it, portion size was a bit small, the prices are pretty high for what you get. I really wanted to like this place since it’s close to me.

Alex is the owner and his kids work with him he has an amazing personality very caring loving and makes the best food in the area this food is delicious 🤤 he is our neighbor! He made our food for our wedding and it was to die for the cornbread is moist not dry! The meat is finger licking good!!! All the food went fast at my wedding we went back to the truck the next day to buy more meat! This is the best bbq anyone could ask for go get yourself some of it !!!!!!! Best ribs I've had in a long long time...maybe ever... Peach cobbler..not so much...

I’m a first time customer and I just tried to place an order over the phone. The gentleman that answered was rude and impatient when asking about the dinners. He then placed me on hold. I would never give my money to ANYONE that doesn’t provide good customer service. You just lost a new customer and I will be telling others. I’m sure that they do not care but it’s just poor service, coming from a small business owner.

I had a chance to experience this place in person because previously I ordered on Uber eats which it was delicious then. So I decided to check it out. The food is just simply amazing I mean really good. Oxtail or falling off the phone and so flavorful delicious. The Chicken was falling off the bone delicious previously I had the St Louis ribs and they were delicious falling off the bone. Today I ordered oxtails chicken sandwich and rib sandwich. My daughter loved the chicken. The rib sandwich was phenomenal in the oxtails are my new personal favorite just because I love oxtails lol Not because other food wasn't good that everything is a 10/10. If you're lucky enough to catch them when they have banana pudding it was phenomenal. The peach cobbler is amazing as well It's really good.

Okay don't shoot the messenger. I'm just giving a review. The ribs and the sausage and the potato salad is absolutely phenomenal! That's all that was available when we got there. The owner threw in double Peach cobbler. The peach cobbler was absolutely horrendous. I don't know if those are biscuits that's being used in the peach cobbler, no ma'am no sir. The cornbread souffle if it was not dry would be absolutely phenomenal! The barbecue sauce, if you mix the sweet barbecue sauce with the mustard barbecue sauce absolutely phenomenal. I'm only giving them a three because that peach cobbler was terrible. Very dry no taste no flavor. And that cornbread souffle was absolutely dry. Other than that if those two items were on point and maybe if I didn't get the last of what they had I would give them 6 stars!! I'm going back tho!

Mannnnn this place is fire 🔥!! The seasoning is banging and as others have said, you don’t NEED any sauce at all. Their sauces are great, my fave is the Sweet Mustard. We had Mac N Cheese, Peach Cobbler and Potato Salad, all 10/10. I tried other BBQ places in Florida, this is only one I’m a raving about.

Excellent dry rub ribs. They know how to smoke them. Sides are wonderful as well. It’s a good truck, but get it to go and you won’t be disappointed.

Great place. Wasn't disappointed at all. The ribs are in the top 2 best ribs of any food truck or restaurant I've had ribs at. The brisket was 🔥 too. I also had the pulled pork which was great. This is that Q that doesn't need the sauce. I hate when I order BBQ and all I taste is smoked meat- no flavor. Most definitely not the case here. You can taste their rub/seasoning. The peach cobbler was 🔥 as well. I went with my other foodie friends and not one of us was disappointed in our decision to try this place. Pricing and the portion size were on par. We'll most definitely be back. I didn't get any of the Mac&cheese but my bros mentioned that it was good enough to get more and none of us are big on mac&cheese.

Rainy Sunday afternoon, my niece had a sudden urge for beef ribs. They didn’t have ribs but the brisket was excellent and hit the spot! She declared the brisket much better than seaworld’s 🤦🏾‍♀️😄. The mac and cheese was super yum 😋 but the service and gorgeous smiles 🤩 are what will have me a repeat customer. Don’t believe me?! See for yourself. Well done gentlemen! I’ll be back!

Stopped by last night, almost closing time. Ordered full slab of ribs, some pork, sausage, and Mac and cheese. Gentlemen working were very nice and brought our food out to us when it was ready. Ribs were juicy and perfectly smoked. Mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. Tried every BBQ sauce cause they were nice enough to include all of them as it was our first time. Going back soon to try everything else.

I've been meaning to come here and finally visited. This won't be the last time I come. Some of the best BBQ I've had in general. I got a combo platter and everything was on point from the chicken to the suasage, brisket & ribs. Moist, flavorful. Amazing. They give you sauce with your serving but the meat was cooked so well that I didn't really need it, although the sauce is also amazing. BBQ beans didn't disappoint. Highly recommend driving out to try!

These guys right here is who you support for your local small business. Here in gibsonton we don’t have much of a selection to grab from but this place here is a must have even if you’re a hour away. Everything is great on the menu so don’t ask about what the best seller is. Anybody can have good food, but do they also give their customers respect and look out for them? This place does that’s why I give them 5/5. Keep killing the game!!!

Wife and I tried this place for the first time. We had the ribs and brisket with a side of a brisket jalapeño Mac n cheese. Ribs were good falling off the bone, smoked flavor was awesome. Brisket was good also, tender and juicy. Definitely going back..

This was our first time eating at Rack City Rivz, llc. A Blacked owned business. God is good!!Y'all know we we from Memphis, TN where the Bar B Que and Soul Food will literally make you slap your mama!! Lol... Im just playin....The Ribz was Fire!!! Smoky and Tender! This is a food truck so you can also sit down at the outside tables and eat or like us we ate in the car, When it comes to food, there is no color. People from all walks of life patronize this business! It 3:30pm was around we missed out on the Brisket, people were linking up! We got the Rib plate with 2 sides, Cole slaw, Mac n cheese, and greens, peach cobbler and because the corn bread pudding was almost gone The host threw it in for free so we could sample it! We slso got a sweet tea and lemonade to drink. THESE guys mean business. You can smell the aroma in the air. You can see one of the guys cutting the meat up on the food truck. We sat in the car so long one of the guys checked on us! Such a friendly atmosphere!! You can also buy barbecue sauce in a bottle to take home. I was told that this business was started by retired policemen and that their children are now running the business. Support them and yall show them some love ❤️

Been here twice and today was the second. The people are very welcoming and friendly here! The first time I had a mobile order which was the best BBQ I had by far since moving to Florida with the fattiest brisket along with flavorful ribs. They are fine on their own without the sauce which also adds so much to the flavor. I couldn't stop thinking about the brisket ever since I came the first time so I finally came again, the brisket was sold out since i'm only free in the evening but I was so surprised to open my box when they brought my order and saw there were sausages inside also! I love you rack city ribz 🫶

Overall experience was a great experience though I wasn’t a huge fan of the smoked oxtails and peach cobbler for $25 for the dinner I really expected to be 😩 the ribs were fire will definitely go back for the ribs!

Let me start with this-I am not the biggest fan of BBQ in general. My brother wanted to eat here so we did. This food is outstanding! The brisket is the best we have ever had. I see more of this food in my future!

This is the best rib place I've been to since moving to the Tampa area 3 years ago. You have to try their "special" Mac & Cheese... It's unlike any other out there!

The ribs were tender and smoked perfectly! They were out of mac & cheese, but I’m sure it’s because it’s so popular. Will have to return another time to try it. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw, but that’s just personal preference. I also don’t care much for peach cobbler, but theirs was good.
