absolutely awesome food. rustic place but a nice vibe and definitely worth trying pretty much anything. Breakfast burrito is sooo good and the mint chip Dream Cream is healthy and delicious. the cold brew coffee is excellent. I tried the new wild Rice b urger and it was delicious.

Drink, food, and their special smoothies are so fresh and natural tasting. We were blown away by everything. Really recommend, and owners are so friendly.

Super chill atmosphere, friendly staff, and best of all tastiest vegan food ever! Even non vegans will be happy with the amazing tastes and textures. Would definitely eat again on another trip!

It’s amazing that everything is made in house. Some vegan spots use processed fake meat, but not Rainbow Kitchen. Everything on the menu is insanely good. The dream cream smoothies are so good and so healthy

One of the few vegan restaurants that I’d eat at. We tried a few dishes and drinks. The krabby patty is a special and unique meal. Friendly.

I think they changed owners, something is off with my last visit. The Mac and cheese is very different, flavor poor and cheap noodles, would not recommend. I do appreciate that the delicious seitan remains the same. The sauces are not as flavorful. I loved having a vegan option on the north shore, the value is not there anymore. It is on the more expensive side for portions on maui. I hope they can make a comeback.

If you want to indulge while feeling great, this is the place for you. Vegetarians and none-veg-heads alike will love their meal!

Delicious, freshly made food. Although we eat vegan food often, this was the best food we had in our Hawaii trip altogether. We tried the three different tacos, as well as the macro bowl, and they provided us with tasty nutrition for our road to Hana. Worth the drive out, even if you're not doing the road to Hana.

I don’t know what sort of magic they’re working in that kitchen but the food was amazing. I think this is the best vegan food I’ve ever had. I recommend the mighty bowl.

Food truck serving some amazing vegan varieties that is different than the usual açaí bowl and salads type options. Highly recommend on the Road to Hana journey. Owner is very friendly and understands Satvik and Jain items. Can customize two dishes- Macro bowl and Ohmlette. He plans to include more varieties soon.

So many nutrient-dense delicious options here even if you have food allergies like me. Gluten free vegan fabulousness served up beautifully. Hubby had hearty breakfast burrito 🌯 great texture and flavours. I had t strawberry 🍓 dream smoothie and my gecko friends got in on it too! Simeon was friendly and informative and the rest of the staff was warm, friendly and lovely too. Will definitely eat here again

We decided to grab a bite to eat before heading out on our trip to Hana. We ended up ordering a delicious breakfast burrito and a refreshing strawberry dream cream drink. Both were really tasty! Personally, I enjoyed both options, but my boyfriend thought the drink could have been a bit sweeter for his liking.

Stopped in for BBQ at the place next door but they were closed. We decided to order some food from Rainbow Kitchen. We often eat at vegan places while traveling and this place did not disappoint. I had the Breakfast Burrito and my husband had a Bowl. The food was delicious, all locally sourced and wonderfully prepared. The portions are huge so split something if you don't want leftovers The Cold press coffee and the sun tea likewise were very good and decently priced. Stop on in for a nice meal either before or after your Road to Hana Drive. Don't skimp on the homemade hot sauces. The green habanero sauce is no joke spicy.

Great vegan food and friendly staff! We got some smoothies and tacos. I had the sunrise smoothie which was delicious and my boyfriend liked the dragonfruit smoothie. The sweet potato and mushroom tacos were killer, especially with the hot sauce. I would definitely come back!

I love this place! Friendly staff, yummy vegan food, and the best smoothie I’ve ever had. The mermaid dream is my favorite. During my visit, I have stopped by for the mermaid dream 3 days in a row :) The seating area is a vibe too with a beautiful view of the mountains. I feel good about my money going to this business. Incredible food. If you are visiting Maui/or a local, it's definitely worth it to taste unique flavors and plant based food with a twist. It's rare to come across healthy vegan food (packed with extra good stuff) that doesn't taste "healthy". It's just delicious. We tried the mochi fries/waffle, the tacos, omlette, and a couple of the tonics. Also the staff is just awesome and friendly.

My step mom went here and enjoyed their food, I went to the BBQ place nextdoor. Overall both food trucks here are good options.

The date snickers are a great sweet treat. When in need of a sweet healthy treat this is your place. Smoothies are amazing too. Fun place to hang with the family and let the kids watch the goats. They have meals too.

I’m so glad that I was able to eat here on my short trip to Maui. Rainbow Kitchen was easily my favorite meal in all of Maui. The whole menu is plant based and super unique. I ordered the breakfast burrito, kale salad, and the mighty bowl and each bite was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and delicious!! Overall a must try if you love vegan/plant based food and are in Maui!!

Excellent Sunday brunch & weather. Wonderful ppl that greet you at the window & put care & kindness into each dish. You notice it in your experience with the food. The mac & cheese special was off the hook good. Very clean version & honestly the tastiest I’ve ever had. They use potato & carrot & it transforms to delicious not funky like vegan box ones. The killer burrito never disappoints. The oxygen tonic is a deep breath to the lungs. Thank you RK!

It was so good that we had to come back twice! The owners are so sweet, the coffee is spectacular and they even have coffee ice cubes so your cold coffee doesn’t get watered down. We can’t wait to come back 🤙🏼 perfect to swing by on your way to Twin Falls and/or starting your trip on the Road to Hana.

Love this place, I come here all the time! The breakfast burrito, the mighty bowl, the mint chip space smoothie thing is out of this world! It’s kinda like soft serve ice cream, but just made out of superfood. Literally blown away! Vegan, gluten free, organic, local. What more could you ask for?

Best tacos we’ve ever had! We stopped after our Road to Hana adventure and had the Jackfruit Street Tacos. Amazing!!

The burrito bowl here was DELICIOUS. The jackfruit was flavorful and crispy. I expected it to be good but it surpassed my expectations which is such a refreshing change. Portion size was great as well, I have a large appetite for a small girl and struggled to finish my meal! I was disappointed to learn they are temporarily out of the vegan crab cake salad due to no vendor for coconut shreds. But that’s just life. Definitely eat here if you’re looking for good vegan food on Maui!

The burrito I got here was literally the best burrito I’ve ever had in my entire life. I just… I will be back for another. I basically drink their hot sauce too because it was so loaded with flavor. (I did buy one from them!) I was recommended this place by an omnivorous friend who said, “I’m not even vegan and their burritos are SO incredible.” Definitely give this place a shot even if you’re not vegan. It will convert you.

The food here is great. It’s all delicious so it’s hard to make a choice! The list of smoothies and drinks is long, creative and tempting. Breakfast options seem right for lunch too. And it’s fantastic to have this truck in the Haiku area.

Rainbow Kitchen is an amazing vegan food truck in Haiku! The Crab Cake Salad, Killer Breakfast Burrito, Macro Bowl, BBQ Jackfruit Bowl, Mochi Fries, Mermaid Dream Cream, and Seasonal Smoothie, were all outstanding. I could not pick a favorite even if I had to...definitely worth visiting more than once to try several of their menu items. The food tastes so fresh and healthy but also sinfully delicious and comforting. As a long-time vegan, I have eaten at many great vegan restaurants across the U.S. Rainbow Foods is one of the absolute best!

Best food truck EVER!! Don’t miss it. All the food here is made with so much love and you can taste it with every bite. It’s based off of a macrobiotic diet, and they use locally-sourced produce. The Killer Breakfast Burrito is Amazing, and the seitan tastes like actual steak. I’d recommend this to all non-vegans too. The drinks are incredible- my favorite is the Mermaid Dream Cream!

The food is absolutely amazing. I am in love with the strawberry dream cream to the point that I choose my next vacation destination so it was within a short drive to the food truck. It is not just a suitable replacement to ice cream; it is better than any frozen dessert I’ve ever tried. The street tacos were amazing as well! Hands down the best vegan food I’ve ever tasted.

This was truly one of the best meals I’ve had in years. We learned about the food truck from our friends Josh and Julie (who similarly raved upon eating there for the first time the day before), and this was one of the most delicious, layered, healthy, and craving-inducing meals I can remember. I ordered the macro bowl with an extra serving of homemade seitan (I’ve NEVER had seitan this tender and juicy… they could have been animal riblets!), and every flavor, every bite just had its own identity and matched beautifully with the others. Mung bean noodles with ume tahini sauce, steamed kale, flavored tofu, mushrooms, daikon, seitan. DELICIOUS. I wish we had something like this in Colorado (or at the least that they’d offer a cookbook for us mainlanders!). We’ll certainly be returning. Mahalo!

BEST FOOD ON MAUI! Absolute flavor-explosions made with high-quality ingredients by friendly people. We came back two days in a row because we HAD to try more things. A great place to stop with easy parking and ample seating, right off the Hana Hwy. There are public restrooms on site, an ocean view in the distance, great tunes, and did I mention the drool-worthy eats? GO HERE TODAY!
