Food is good and the service is great. A little pricey for chicken, steak and rice for two. With two cocktails per our bill was $250 including tip.

Food is average. Some dishes ok and some not ok. But for $40 a plate it should be very very good. And it’s not good. Servers were good, this is not a diss on them

This place makes you feel like you’re in china, but in reality, your not. The service, food, and everything else is amazing. I go here a lot and if you’re around you gotta get the chefs lo mein and strawberry shortcake. Can’t go wrong with those 2! The prices aren’t cheap so bring some cash! But it’s worth it.

Rainbow Palace has spectacular food! The service is excellent and we felt welcomed every step of the way. Crispy Duck Grand Marnier, New York Style Orange Beef, Vegetable Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, and the House Wonton Soup and Cocktails were all next level delicious!!! We will absolutely go back again. The decor inside is unique and wonderful!

Great food, excellent t service

The restaurant is an old Ft Lauderdale relic. I love these restaurants that withstand time. My overall review is that the food was good, but I am not convinced that it was worth the hefty price. We made reservations, a week in advance but still got seated in the other room. We were told the main dining room wasn’t available when we got there. The service as adequate, except that he forgot to serve the appetizer first so we ended up eating the appetizer with the main meal. The portions are not large and we ate everything with no leftovers. Overall it was good.

This place is incredible. I’ve eaten here at least 5 times over the years. The service is always top notch. The food is not like the Chinese food you’re used to; everything is elevated. The crispy steak is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! We had a Yellowtail special as well that was amazing, the pork fried rice was perfect and the pork dumplings were over the top! Their wine list is as good as it gets. Looking forward to our next visit to Rainbow Palace

My favorite restaurant in the whole world!!! Mandatory stop when visiting Fortlauderdale!! And then I have to go twice per stay… because I have to eat my chicken in pineapple sauce 🍍 and the agro-sweet prawns!! I already miss the food there!! I think I have to go back!!

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Florida. They're delicious. Dishes are second to none if you've never been the Szechuan shrimp is phenomenal. The wonton soup was maybe the best in the country. Everything is excellent in this place

Overpriced for mediocre food at best

My friend and I had dinner on a Friday night. We had soup ,lobster dumplings and I ordered seafood fried rice as my entrée. It was excellent. The next Friday I picked up the seafood fried rice to go .Completely different and not in a good way . It was the first time we've ever ordered to go and I'll never make that mistake again .Fabulous if eating there .Not so good to go .

Great dinner with our large family Food was delicious! Drinks, mai tai too sweet & lychee martini vodka & a lychee a little less than expected. Service was stellar. Won ton soup perfect with added pepper & soy sauce. Dumplings & Scallop appetizer deserving of all the rave reviews. All entrees very goood as well, country chicken , sweet & sour chicken, crispy steak, lobster, shrimp & scallops yum! Duck & eggplant also delicious.

What an amazing experience. The staff and food were absolutely delicious! We had the pleasure of tasting 9 different dishes and each was top notch. I cannot wait to go back over and over and over. It is a must try!

Fancy decor, service courteous but slow, food is good but not outstanding, the prices are extremely high! Four of us had a very light dinner, sharing two main courses, and ended up paying $300. Not worth it IMHO

Sorry to say we thought it was overrated. Good Chinese food is hard to find in Fl but other reviews led us to believe that this experience would be exceptional. It was just ok. For the prices we were underwhelmed. One order dumpling, basic fried rice, one beef and one chicken entree, no drinks, no dessert, $150. In NY a similar order would have been $60. The service was good.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and find it to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the country. the level and quality of food and the service is fantastic. It may be a little long in the tooth as to décor but if you want great food and fantastic flavors then this is the place to go.

By far the best Chinese in S fl. There are options not on the menu that can be ordered with your reservation such as spare ribs or Rack of lamb. One should call them to find out. They have sauces that make everything taste out of this world.

Food excellent as always. For the first time service was terrible. Unfortunately, had a major impact on our guests and ourselves. Celebrating a very special birthday. The entrees were served with no consideration of sharing. Entrees have always been partially served with the remains next to you. We were not given an opportunity to order dessert. A piece of cake with a candle was literally thrown on the table. We waited a half hour to order another dessert. When we asked for the check we waited another 40 minutes. When we received the check it was the wrong table. Table next to us complaining about the wait time for their cocktails. What should have been 2-21/2 hours dinner for our party turned into almost four hours. The restaurant was in a frenzy. Wait staff running all over. This has never occurred before. Not sure if it was a bad night or if they were low on help. Either way, we never received an apology.

The food and service are always really good. Server, Earnest was terrific. The Lamb Chops are as good as any I have had. The Orange beef and Chef’s fried was also great.

Honestly the best dining experience I’ve had… ever. And I enjoy dining out quite a bit. I’ve never been so taken care of at a restaurant! The staff really lets you sit back, relax, and enjoy your night out. With table side service, they make your plates for you and split up the shareables. I didn’t have to ask for anything because they had already thought of it before I did. Absolutely incredible. I will be bringing my friends and family who visit to this restaurant so they can experience it as well.

The staff and the foods was very good. The added spices that we asked for made a huge difference in the experience. I'm glad they have a choice of spices. The prices are a bit high ...70 for the steak. The decor could use an update

Best Chinese Cuisine in South Florida with top notch staff.

Without doubt, for many years.. the best Chinese/Asian flavors food in Ft.Lauderdale. Ken along with his efficient and friendly staff always make you feel welcome and part of their ‘family’ of loyal regulars. My favorites are the Crispy Duck Marnier (meaty…never fatty, and cooked to perfection.. I’ve never had better) ..or the lamb chops (make sure they’re available that night) ..the wonton soup is perfection.. as is the spring roll. The wine list is excellent too. Rainbow Palace has just been one of my top five restaurants here for many years. Long may it continue 👏

A little expensive but excellent service and food great restaraunt

The food is good but portions are expensive and skimpy.

It is one of my favorite restaurants. The service has always been good, but this evening I believe they had new staff and they need to be taught what side to serve on and not to stretch over the person eating. Such a shame servers are not taught the etiquette of serving or openly. I hope management will improve on this. Look forward to going again, which I do at least 3 times a month, and enjoying a good meal

I love the plates. Give you feel of authenticity and show verity of Chinese art and culture. That’s probably it from positive. Food is not as great as I expected. I didn’t find any traditional food there, even though China offer a lot of variety of cuisine : Sichuan - for spice lovers; guandon -for fresh seafood, Beijing-for sweet and sour fans. I feel like this restaurant used to be great, need a little refreshing.

I absolutely do not understand the popularity of this restaurant. Went for the first time recently, and will NEVER go back. The most overpriced Chinese food EVER! The Chinese takeout we get for 3/4 of the price is so much better. The service was mediocre. The food, MEH at best.

Rainbow Palace is one of my favorite restaurants! My daughter and I ordered a Ginger martini, to start! It was delicious! Then we each had the Special Wonton Soup. Then we split the Vegetable Lomein and the Orange Beef. The food and the Service was outstanding!! I highly recommend Rainbow Palace!

The Rainbow Palace is high end delicious Chinese restaurant. The service was impeccable as was the food many steps above ordinary. The food is pricey but so worth it. I would recommend to anyone looking for one of the best Chinese experiences in all of south Florida.

The food was delicious. The waiter was wonderful. Noise level was extremely loud. Even so we will return as all else was great.
