If you are driving through ....you have to stop here! Amazing pastries and bread. The best!

Stopped here as we were on our cross country road trip and were so pleased with the quality of the coffee! it was such a yummy pick me up that we weren't expecting in such a small town. 💜

I stopped here for my morning coffee traveling from Pagosa Springs to Alamosa and, I am so glad that I did! Definitely a hidden gem! The pastries and coffee were absolutely wonderful. Friendly and welcoming service! If you're passing through, I highly recommend stopping.

DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE BY! WOW… Absolutely scrumptious pastries and flavorful burritos. He had the chorizo. I had the pork and red chile. Both were piping hot!Then we got the mini cinnamon roll which the kind young lady at the counter explained was made with wheat and spelt they mill themselves and coconut sugar in the middle. It was heaven! We also got a blueberry muffin. It was light, moist… sooo good! Honestly, I would’ve purchased one of everything. We come down to this area frequently so I will be sure to stop on the way in and stock up in the future. Well done, ladies! Be proud of your hard work because you are very talented!

This two-year old bakery and coffee shop is part of the "new" Del Norte. Nice selection of baked goods. They bring in breakfast burritos, which are very black peppery (not sure I'd buy again). My latte flavored with honey and cinnamon and something else was quite good.

Delighted with my choices to choose. Espresso and many other great cups of coffee or tea. I was told it was a must stop. I agree

You HAVE to get here early. They sell out of their baked goods fast. It's no secret that they have amazingly delicious and fresh treats, and the whole town knows it. I pulled up at 7 a.m., and there was already a long line. The croissants are top notch, and don't even get me started on the jalapeño cheddar kolache. The coffee never disappoints either. It's very good. I absolutely love the honey orange cardamom latte. Do yourself a favor and stop in if you are passing through.

What an AMAZING place! We stopped in by coincidence on our way through Colorado, heading back home to Arkansas. We were so glad we did! The coffee and pastries were absolutely incredible! The friendly staff and warm-hearted atmosphere added so much to the experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Del Norte is lucky to have a spot like this! The almond croissant was spectacular, no…mouthwatering. Highly recommend visiting! If you don’t, you’ll wish you had 😉

Stopped here while on a road trip across CO, and wow I wish we lived closer!! The smells were incredible when we walked inside, and the food was delicious. Really loved the scone and croissant (esp the chocolate one!). The staff was friendly, and I loved how they had a Bible verse on the wall. Highly recommend stopping here!!

Raisin Rye in Del Norte, CO is an awesome delight. The space is inviting, through its simple, clean lines and design. Wonderful coffee selection. The craft hand baked breads and pastries are varied, beautiful and delicious. I had the Sourdough bread for takeout, a whole wheat cinnamon roll, a breakfast burrito and a cup of their House signature coffee. What a great find and I encourage all travelers to make a stop.

A fantastic spot for coffee and fresh bakery. The cappuccino I had was the best tasting espresso I’ve had. We had some treats: a chocolate croissant and my husband had a cinnamon roll. So so good!! I ordered a loaf of bread even though we only have a day and a half to eat it before we get on a plane to home. It will be no problem, we are eating it in chunks without butter or anything and it is so delicious. This is how bread should taste!! The ladies running the shop were also so delightful to order from. And to top it off, the bakery is spotless with an adorable bathroom.

I ordered a cortado and had the chocolate croissant. Both were delicious!

I will always stop here on my way through Del Norte. This is a very special bakery!

Absolutely incredible! Everything is made with love and fresh to order. I was eating for half an hour and saw numerous new items come out. Get here early if you want a cinnamon roll! They’re worth it. Look forward to stopping more in the future as we come thru del Norte a bit.

I enjoyed one of the better americanos I've had in awhile.

What can I say, this is a great bakery! I'm not sure what trickery they used to actually create a flaky and light whole wheat croissant but it turns out such a thing is possible and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything they serve. There is a lot of pride going on in this lovely shop!

I stopped in for a coffee as I was driving through Del Norte. The staff was incredibly friendly and the load of original sourdough I got was some of the best bread I’ve ever had. I will certainly be back!

Love this place! We always plan our trips around stopping by here. The lovely people working there are always courteous and welcoming. You can tell they make all their food with love, because it is mouthwateringly delicious! The shop is so cute and cozy, we just love coming here!

If I could rate Raisin Rye a 10 out of 5 stars, I would. I've loved this bakery for years and visit as often as possible, living an hour+ away. Raisin Rye is not only a spectacular bakery, they are employed and owned by wonderful humans! This past week I stopped an hour before close with several hours left on my drive, for some delicious sourdough bread and a couple of muffins. When I went to leave I had a dead battery in my 4Runner. A staff member or an owner came out to jump the battery and have me on my way so quickly. A very humble and kind human, the world needs more of them. I am so grateful for this bakery and adore all they offer. Thank you!

First time here. We ordered plain and chocolate croissants, hot chocolate, coffee and 1 "old spanish" burrito. The burrito was not as great due to the chimichurri. It takes away the flavor of all the other ingredients(eggs, potato, chorizo. I think salt, pepper, garlic is more than enough( but that's just me) everything else was delicious and will keep them in our favorite locations list for the future

Excellent coffee and pastries, breakfast burritos. They know how to make a proper (traditional) cappuccino. They DO NOT ask “what size” when you order a cappuccino ( my pet peeve).

Going to add my 5 star for this fantastic little place. We stopped there just at random and found one of the best coffee shops and bakeries you could hope to find. The coffee was superb. The sourdough bread was just phenomenal. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

We stopped in for some pastries, probably the best croissant I ever had.

Great bakery. Wonderful service. Not a latte person but the salted caramel bourbon barrel is delicious. Excellent cinnamon roll that actually had enough cinnamon in it to be called that. The dough is legitimate yeast bread with WW flour. Kolaches with sausage and cheese were also delicious. Everything was delicious.

A good coffee oasis in an area hours from any other good coffee - and it's not "good for Del Norte" coffee, it's as good as any coffee I've had anywhere. And everything else they have is excellent, fresh, and delicious too. If I actually lived nearby I'd come here every day.

Passed through town during a family road trip - YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE! My son claims that this was his favorite part of the whole 3 1/2 week road trip!

Stopped in this morning for coffee and sweets! Got the bourbon barrel coffe e and a cappuccino, both were fantastic. Tried several pastries and all of them were fresh and delicious! If you are in the area and don't stop in then you are missing out.

Their coffee is superb and the bakery appears to have dropped straight out of heaven. Possibly why, as of today there are 112-5 star reviews and not a single review less than 5 stars.. that’s very impressive consistency.

Absolutely fantastic. I cannot stop reflecting on how happy I am to have stopped and picked up some food here. The bread of course was fantastic, but so was my coffee and mint berry soda. I’m drinking the cardamom orange latte now, but all of the specialty lattes looked delicious so I think I’ll have to find a way to stop here again.

What a find! We picked up two coffees, two pastries, a Kolache (should have bought two of these), and a half loaf of bread. Everything is beyond fantastic, surpassed only by the caliber of folks running this shop. Had a great time chatting and eating (also love the new bike rack they’ve got out front). Come for the food, stay to admire the steel craftsmanship! What a great example of small-town quality and excellence.

Pouring coffee into our cups and love into their baking. You’ll be hard pressed to find another bakery in the valley or the state that can top this one. Feels wonderful to be here. Highly recommend.
