I enjoyed David’s class today. It was very informative and he is a great teacher. He allowed us to ask a lot of questions and gave very detailed answers from either books or his own experiences. In todays class we made sourdough bread, starter, pizza, & pita bread. Can’t wait to make my own sourdough bread at home. If we have any questions, David asked us to reach out to him. Raleigh Street Bakery has the most delicious breads! They are all sourdough and made with a variety of organic ancient grains. Every week there are new breads to choose from and as an added bonus they are reasonably priced. So if you are into eating healthy and appreciate a deal this is the place for you!

He makes the best baguettes in the state.

Dave makes excellent bread and always pleasant in his conversation. After three years in Germany, I developed high standards for bread. Dave exceeds those with a variety of breads, including German ones. The seeded wheat and whole wheat are my favorite.

Had this for the first time today (I had a country loaf) and it straight sent me to heaven 🥰 so delicious and I’m so glad to have found some sourdough that is fresh and made so well and has simple organic ingredients. Cant wait to get more !

What an absolute treat this place is. Coming from France, I take my bread very seriously, and I'd go as far to say David's bread is the best I've had in the country so far. Not only do I recognize the traditional country style bread making mastery, but he also adds his own flair to it with the unexpected flavors of different seeds and cereals. In the 2 years I lived in Denver, this bread quickly became a regular staple of our household, and one of the things I'll miss the most about Denver.

We were pleasantly surprised that David took a walk-up order and we drove home with some delicious baked goods. Currently enjoying the baguette. Do yourself a favor and visit this talented local baker - we will definitely be back for more.

This bread is the main feature of my creations at home. No digestive issues with this bread that is real bread; as it should be. I usually avoid bread but this is has high quality ingredients and fermentation process makes it delicious with so much texture. I feel good after partaking in David’s creations.

Incredible bread! Well worth the effort to plan ahead to order your bread 2 days before picking up. Don't forget to pick up an order of pretzel rolls too. They are to die for. I always have to eat one in the car right away.

David clearly has a passion for baking delicious, quality bread. I was searching for local, organic bread after to moving to Denver from Portland, where we had an amazing bakery where we purchased our bread. I can happily say that David's bread is even better! I had never heard of the cottage law and am such a fan. I highly recommend buying your bread from David- you can't find better quality or a nicer baker.

I just arrived from Chicago and stopped at the Union Station farmers market in Denver. Bought a baguette and loaf of Pumpkin Seed / Cranberry loaf.... WOW!! Absolutely delicious!

Local baker making amazing sourdough bread out of his converted garage. I'm a big fan of the pretzel rolls and the baguettes, and currently eating the raisin bread one plain slice at a time. So good. Order with a Google form, make your way over to the house when you get the reminder email, and have a nice conversation while you chew a sample and pay for your loaf. Do it.

Best bread that can be had in Denver, period!

First of all, the bread is amazing. Crusty on the outside and light and airy in. Second of all, how many people can say their Baker knows them by name? David is simply the best.

So good. My bread, a delicious sunflower rye, was still warm when I bought it, and the pretzel rolls were the best I have ever tried. Simply great, and I'm glad this place exists!

As a German born and raised woman I appreciate good bread and go out of my way to get it and am prepared to pay a little extra for the good quality organic ingredients. You must yry this bread to understand why.

I randomly found this place searching on google maps to see what was in my neighborhood and wasn't disappointed. David is and incredible baker and everything I've tried was delicious. When I picked up my bread from his house I got to see the wood/gas ceramic oven where it was baked and sample some of the new flavors. It's rare in this day and age to get that sort of experience with food and the people who make it, but it's really nice. I plan on buying bread here regularly from now on.

Baguettes like in Paris! I no longer need to go to Europe to get my baguette fix! David does it right: chewy and has those little 'caves' inside, crusty and perfect outside. You don't cut this bread; you break it and tear it and have a bite of it and a bit of cheese, or olive, or just plain butter -- that's when you're well behaved. Me, after I pick it up, I break of a crusty pointy end and eat that much plain while I drive. It becomes dinner--not merely an accompaniment to meat'n'potatoes. Well worth the drive to pick it up. Baked the morning of the day you pick it up. Can't beat that.
