Food is great, portions are generous and prices are reasonable. One of the best local Levantine food in VA. They probably need to update the restaurant area (table, couches and chairs), we sat on one of the couches with the springs protruding out. Other than that the service is fantastic!

This place really surprised me in a good way. Very cheap but quite good. I hsd the halloumi cheese shwarma and it had a really nice flavor. Good tabbouli. And they had delicious house made pickles. Such a nice touch. I recommend it.

We tried the chicken shawarma sandwich and the beef shawarma sandwich, they’re both excellent!!! I would recommend not toasting the chicken because it’ll dry off the garlic whip “toum” speaking of which it was excellent too. Looking forward to go back.

One of the best and tastier halal oriental food

I have had Raouche Cafe cater twice for graduation parties. The food is great, cooked to perfection by the owner Khalil. I highly recommend anyone having an event to give them a try you will not regret making this choice.

Kunafa and mint tea was good Falafel sandwich for breakfast was a bit disappointing, Falafel wasn’t fresh and seems to be heated up, bread was a bit cold and chewy. Overall can ve better

It's a very humble and small place that serves extremely delicious and affordable Lebanese food. This is my choice for hanging out with friends if we are looking for a nice dinner but not so much fancy dining. If If you are a Lebanese cuisine lover but not so much into paying big $$ for Lebanese Taverna's tiny samples, Raouche Cafe is your best choice.

Just tried this restaurant for the first time. I only had a chicken Fettouch salad, and it was possibly one of the best I have had. The vegetables were very fresh and the dressing was possibly the best I have had. It had a very subtle taste of what seemed to be pomegranate in it. The chicken pieces were very nicely flavored as well. The price was in line with most fast casual Middle Eastern eateries. Will be coming back to try the rest of their menu. The service was very nice as well.

The food was outstanding! But the service was not at the same level. It was slow and subpar especially for a Friday night. On a busy night, we expected to have a quicker service. We would still go back, but thought to give our feedback from our last visit.

Enjoyed our orders of spinach pie and the Kabob combo platters. The platters come with a salad and pita bread. This place is definitely a local favorite. Despite being tucked away in a strip mall, there were many families occupying almost all the tables during the evening when we were there. Enjoy!

Amazing place! They are owned by the kindest people that donate to student organizations and community events! The food they brought us was so delicious, and I could not stop eating the spinach pies! Will be ordering again!

After a delicious meal, we decided to you Raouche Cafe to cater a baby shower for 40 people. The food was delicious and Khalil was very helpful in developing the menu and everything was ready fresh that day right on time. Our guests raved about the food! Thank you!

This place serves up really good food at excellent prices. There’s even a children’s menu and my kid loves the chicken and rice they serve. The shawarma sandwiches are on point. They also have daily specials too and the lamb shank is delicious.

A nice surprise and definitely worth the trip. Lentil soup was delicious, falafel appetizer was good and a generous serving. The shawarma was really nice. Not overly spicy. I had the chicken and beef combo, and the beef was awesome. We took a piece of their knafeh dessert back to the hotel with us and really liked it. I had to search for a picture to figure out what it was, and I'd go back just for another piece!!

My favorite middle eastern restaurant in the area. The quality and taste of their food is immaculate. Staff is super friendly.

Breakfast was ok but the service wasn’t too great. No one checked on us I had to get up 3 times to ask for missing item and bread, tea twice. They were not busy we literally were the only customers inside. Even had to get up again to ask for the bill and when paying the waitress didn’t seem interested and just wanted us to leave. Very unpleasant service.

Great grape leaves but sadly only served once a week.

Raouche has excellent Lebanese food and very kind service. The food here is very authentic as I have been to Lebanon many times and can assure you that it is on point. Cannot go wrong.

Great set selection of Arabic dishes, no surprises or disappointments, always delivers and is consistent. The desserts they make on the side are very good. Yoghurt drink is a great complement. Order when you get there or ahead, service is pretty fast (and always courteous). Some of the pastries are excellent (spinach).

Great service. Delicious falafel and chicken shawarma sandwiches. The tin box of baklava was eaten up in a few days. Will definitely go back next time I'm in VA, USA.

At 3:40 pm, the servers appeared as if they were sleep walking. Food is good. The bread and appetizer platter is as authentic and tasty as it comes. This last time around, the lamb kabob tasted like it was precooked in the pot and then thrown on the flame to qualify it as a kabob. Could it be that we stopped by at a slowER time? I should have accepted the lamb shank dish recommendation. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Lebanese baklava in round containers wrapped in brown paper wrap is the best Baklava i have ever tested. It beats Shetilla (Detroit) creation by a good margin.

Phenomenal food. I had the chicken kabob platter with lentil soup. Portion size is very generous. The grilled onion and tomato took this dish to the next level. Hot sauce is very distinct and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Food was pretty affordable. I got the chicken shawarma and fries with a baklava. It was a decent portion but both the shawarma and baklava was dry and lacking flavor. I don’t think I’ll return, too many other excellent places to get shawarma around here.

It’s a great place to eat middle eastern food. I have been going here for over 10 years.

The service was not good at all. The rice was not cooked well. The Salad was not cut to smaller pieces. The soap was not cooked well. I had to return both side orders because they were bad. And when I spoke to the chief he was rude and saying that I was wasting the food. If the food worth it I don’t mind paying , but unfortunately it is not

I ordered Chicken Kebab platter. Chicken kebab is a bit dry to my liking. Rice was ok, good portion though. Sauce that comes with the kebab is not the usual yogurt sauce, more like pasty in consistency.

Been coming here for about 5 years. In the beginning, the owner’s 3 sons ran the entire front and everything was great: food and service. Now, after experiencing 4 consecutive problematic service, I’m done. The young women who replaced the sons are absolutely worthless. You lost my business which included dozens of very large catering orders.

To say the least, I’m extremely familiar with middle eastern cuisine. I visited the restaurant today and ordered mazze platter along with chicken kabobs and chicken fatoush salad. It was the most traditional and the best Lebanese food I have tried in the U.S. To top that the service provided by yousef made the whole experience memorable. I think he deserves a raise!.

Been coming here for years! Love their food. It's always so good and on point. We often cater from here too. Love Their shawerma and kibbeh and tabuleh the most. But pretty much everything is wonderful. You cant go wrong. Fresh tasty food every time! We will always come back. I will post more pics next time!

Good, but there is no better than that

stopped for mid-afternoon 'snack' -as we had dinner plans later. But the 'snack" was ...let's say, Very Very generous. We shared appetizers (mezza sampler) and an order of the meat stuffed cabbage. Everything was properly prepared and delicious. We were both a little sorry we had not com here sooner...we could have eaten more before meeting others for dinner. Don't worry - I will be back! Often!

Food: I didn’t feel any difference of being an authentic Lebanese food. It tasted just like any other Middle eastern food. No Wao factor but good food. No complaints. Plenty of food choice on the menu. Ambiance: Plenty of space to sit. They didn’t spend any money on decor. Overall clean and open environment. Service: Great service. The server was attentive and responsive to our demands. Halal status: meat comes from Washington Lamb.

We've eaten here for years, and we came occasionally during the pandemic. But we had not eaten here for six months or so. Cafe Raouche is amazingly consistent. We tend to eat the same things all the time (mezze sampler and combo kabob), and everything is at the same high level. Service is good as well.

Had the falafel sandwich and the chicken shawarma sandwich here. Service was decent, but the falafel had a bitter taste. The shawama was a bit too dry. The fries that I got with the falafel were crisp and tasted good. The portion sizes were more than sufficient, but for the amount of money, I feel the taste was a bit disappointing.

Absolutely delicious Lebanese food. You'll often find Lebanese folk at this place, which is generally a hallmark of an authentic restaurant. It isn't fancy, but it's great for a reasonably quick lunch.

I have tried several of their sandwiches, French fries, and some sides—all of them very flavorful and delicious. This has become our go-to for fast food lunches.

Absolutely incredible food, very delicious! Got the falafel and hummus for appetizers that were both very well presented and tasty. I highly recommend the Raouche combo since you get lots of variety of meat. While I'm sure you'd be happy with any of the meat choices, I highly recommend the chicken which absolutely blew me away.

So good! We were doing our laundry next door and figured we'd stop in for a quick bite. So glad we did! Such a hidden gem, the rice was perfectly seasoned, service was great, reasonable prices - no complaints here, 100% recommend!

Great Lebanese food (this is coming from an American, but I eat lots of Lebanese food). It feels lighter and fresher than a lot of Lebanese food I get - not too much oil and the right mix of spices. The lentil soup is great.

Came in for dinner at about 7:30 the other night based on word of mouth accounts and positive reviews, plus a craving for Lebanese fare. It was my first visit, but somehow I had concocted hopes & expectations of something somewhat different from the experience we had. I want to emphatically stress that the food was wonderful and everything I hoped for & expected! I was the setting, mood & ambiance that surprised me a bit. I'm not sure if those things may have changed over the last 2-3 years. But I was anticipating something not quite so casual, or perhaps a bit less generic/impersonal. I guess I was hoping it to have a bit more unique personality, and a more cozy, home-like ambiance. The style & standards of service was a bit different from what I am generally accustomed to dining in the "DMV". My feeling was that the service staff lacked high quality training in the fundamental steps, standards & skills of being not just a proficient & professional server of food & beverages; but also of being the (warm & gracious) host & coordinator of their guests meal/experience; being able to tactfully & accurately assess, anticipate and meet the needs & expectations of their guests. But my misinformed/mismatched preconceived ideas are my own and not the fault of Raouche! And in any case, whatever I had hoped for before my arrival was easily overlooked, and nearly forgotten with the first bites of the food itself! Truly! We ordered a sampler platter of side dishes/appetizers, all of which were vegetarian and thoroughly delicious. We also ordered one or two additional sides a la carte, and then we shared the signature kabob platter. All of the food met or exceeded my expectations, and it was all made in an authentic, traditional, homemade style. It was just delightful! The tabouli was especially delicious for early December, and the baba ghanouj was some of the best ever! I will absolutely be back again soon! For one thing, my dinner companion consumes his sugar in liquid form, whereas I go for sweets and pastries and I can't wait to indulge in any of the delectable Lebanese desserts featured on their menu to conclude my next visit. While there is room for improvement in certain areas (which would be fairly easy to implement), do NOT let that keep you from visiting & enjoying this fantastic cafe! I strongly encourage anyone with a liking for, or curiosity about real "down-home" Lebanese food to treat themselves to a meal at Raouche. Raouche is an excellent place to go for outstanding Lebanese cuisine and it should not be missed or overlooked!

This place has some pretty good Lebanese cuisine. The waitress was nice and the tea was good. I usually come here for Mediterranean food.
