Very friendly Good food And beautiful Scenery

Wonderful hidden bar next to a river.. it’s beautiful.

Thank you so much for hosting our group this weekend. I had an amazing time and I know my friends did as well. That was some awesome whitewater rafting.

I’ve done alot of drinking in my day, and this is one of the best dive bars I’ve ever been to.

Came in after rafting the Peshtigo and had a fantastic meal! These are probably the best fried cheese curds I ever had. The burgers and fries were also very delicious. A good beer selection to choose from. Staff was very friendly and food came out fast/fresh. Recommended.

Food is amazing! Pizza to the chicken Alfredo. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Loved it here! The rustic cabins on the river are awesome. We won tickets for this place and so glad it turned us onto this place! We’ll be back in spring to hit up the Peshtigo!

Food has always been very good. Be prepared to wait for it however. Not uncommon to wait over 90 minutes for food to arrive when sitting at the bar on Tuesday nights.

We went to the bar during our vacation. The drinks were great. The bartenders were cool. And the people we met while hanging out were nice. And the DOG was ADORABLE. The atmosphere was a great vibe. The food was tasty too. I will never forget the baboon face in the deers butt. (You'll see it hanging above the bar)

I am just rating them on the bar, not the resort or rafting. This is a nicer up north bar, lots of room, pool tables and tables for dining. I was there on a slow, snowy night, so the service was great.. The food was definitely above average, with daily specials, soup, sandwiches and pizza. I had the Italian Sausage sandwich and seasoned fries. The sandwich was a patty with cheese and marinara (which I ordered on the side). The bread was slightly toasted and great. A very nice sandwich. The seasoned fries were also very good. I will definitely go back to Rapids Resort for dinner, and also to try the rafting.

My friends and i love to try out new campgrounds. Coming to this campground was nice and peaceful. The staff in the office seemed to not know much about details for the questions we had. We went to the bar and enjoyed some drinks on thursday. MK was great. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. Fridays experience was a little different. We went to the bar for the fish fry and the vibe made us feel out of place for sure and like we couldnt fit in. MK was not there and we wish she was! She truly made our experience a good one. Hoping to go rafting tomorrow!

Came with a group of people just to eat at the restaurant and had the rudest staff that I've ever had the displeasure to be served by. On top of that the sauce in the fettuccine Alfredo I got was so thick (a couple people at my table literally thought I had gotten some sort of potato dish it was so bad) it wasn't even edible. I ended up taking the whole thing home and even when I tried thinning it out the next day it was still barely edible. Extremely unsatisfying experience overall

Met up for breakfast with a group of friends and their food is very good. Owners are better cooks then when they bought the business three or four years ago. So, if you haven't visited in a while you should try them again. I will return more often now.

Had a great time there. Great burgers for dinner then went back in the morning for a great steak and eggs for breakfast. Will most definitely go back when we are up there next

We we out on a snowmobile ride and went past three other businesses that are now closed. So the next place that was open, turned out to be fantastic. Good food, large quantities and good prices along with very good polite service.

The place is somewhere to go up north to experience the family atmosphere. The food is phenomenal and the owners are awesome. Try the onion soup, you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time staying in the cabins, next year we will be staying longer. Having a bar/restaurant right next door with great food makes staying here a no-brainer.

Super rustic but clean and very relaxing cabins right on the river. You can't go wrong if you're looking to relax and unwind.

This was such an amazing place! I came all the way up from Georgia for a shirt and pancakes!! Everyone was so hospitable and professional. All of the areas were clean and kept tidy too🤍 I would ABSOLUTELY COME BACK!! And Mike, the bartender was pretty cool too 🤣

Wow, what a wonderful place! Mike, the bartender was very nice and helpful. Mixed a great drink. Had the best rueben sandwich. Hubby had the prime rib sandwich...also excellent! Enjoyed a beautiful view of the river while watching hummingbirds at the feeder just outside our window. Beautifully decorated and clean interior with the Northwoods feel. We will be back!

Tonight I had the pleasure of enjoying the BEST perch I had ever had in my life! My favorite neighbor/friend brought me here and I got to experience excellent customer service and perfectly prepared perch. Highly recommend Rapids Resort!! .... I will return :)

We feel at home here. It is a quaint, friendly, and cozy restaurant with excellent food and staff. With picturesque views of the Peshtigo river, Todd and Barb's is the place to go. Everything is made fresh so the wait (if any) will be it worth it! They have awesome weekly dinner specials. The Prime Rib on Saturdays are to 👏die👏for👏 so get there early to get your hands on one. On ocassion they will have live performances that makes the night even more eventful. Make sure to check this place out!

Nothing but great food for our family after a whitewater rafting trip. We had the mushroom Swiss burger, jalapeno bacon burger, cheese burger and grilled cheese. Very clean with friendly faces. Thank you Barb for your exceptional service!!

Beautiful place to enjoy the north woods! Stayed in one of their lovely cabins located right next to the pestigo river, which you can also go rafting down! They have a very friendly staff that's also knowledgeable on local outdoor activities. Their fish fry on Fridays is to die for! Easily a great place to start a yearly weekend tradition!

Waiting time to eat in dinning area was ridiculously too long. They seem to cater to people eating by bar so if this is what you prefer, this is your place. Food was good.

Change of ownership lately has not changed the traditional importance of this local institution!
