Food tasted good, but a bit overpriced for what you get. Some of the servers were friendly and very attentive even though we weren’t their customer…it was a good thing as our server was terrible

Food was meh service was good, my fish sandwich was bland and no taste, chowder was mediocre and there is $2 charge for ranch? Say whaaaat

I see some great reviews for this Ramon that was the bartender, and with certain clientele she might be great, but with just me she was one of the worst I’ve ever had! Maybe it was because I was by myself, a tourist, or both…? But either way it was bad from start to finish. There was a bit of a wait, about 20-25 minutes with a line out the door, and for just one person waiting to sit at the door they were horribly unprepared for a lunch rush. The had a bunch of couches that were empty where they could have taken names and party size to reduce the line and congestion, but they refused to be competent. Finally as it was my turn the manager told me I just could have gone straight to the bar to seat myself. Great. So I went to sit down at the bar and didn’t receive a menu. This was important because when the bartender, Ramon, came over and asked me what I wanted with a terrible attitude right off the bat, I said I’m not sure as I hadn’t been given a menu for food or drinks as I’ve never been there. She came back with the menus and practically threw them at me. Not a good look. I asked for the calamari, -“we’re out.” So I ordered a cup of soup, a fish and chips, mind you Ramon rudely spat out the question “do you want the cheaper one” without explaining what exactly the difference between the fish was. But I did indeed go with the cheaper one along with a raspberry beer. Before I could even get out that I wanted an ice water as well she left without even asking if that was all! Keep in mind, when a meal costs a singular person $45 for a small cup of soup, a fish and chips, and a beer, there needs to be exceptional service to get 20% on a bill like that! What was worse was that I watched her with a bunch of other groups and she was laughing and acting very nicely to other groups. The 2 guys next to me spoke fluent Spanish that they were bantering back and forth with and the other group was all women. So because I did not fit Ramon’s demographic, it seems as though she was rude as a result. Keep in mind Ramon’s hands were all over the ice in peoples drinks as well! Disgusting! It’s a shame because the food itself was quite good, but the lack of customer service as well as the absolutely uncalled for rude and quite frankly racist treatment I received, I would certainly NOT recommend this place to tourists coming of cruise ships. Beware and be weary of a bartender named Ramon if you are not Hispanic, speak fluent Spanish, or are with a group of women. Also the place is overpriced and highly overrated and keep in mind the one side is named “Cold Water Bar and Grill.” I couldn’t find anything about cold water bar and grill, but I seen a picture of Ramon attached to here, so perhaps they intentionally change names to confuse patrons and reviews or perhaps the bar is called something different? Either way I attached a pic of the door I had entered and the Ramon pictured here was the same one I had the misfortune to encounter. Stay away!

Atrocious. It looked like it should be a great place to eat. We entered and were greeted by a rather rude man. We told him we had 3, he directed us to a table big enough for 3 but with only 2 seats. We figured he'd get an extra chair, instead he said "oh there's 3 of you? " in an upset tone. We said yes, he reluctantly got us an additional chair. We sat down and began to review the menu. Shortly after, a overly aggressive woman started screaming at everyone and closed the restaurant kicking everyone out. This was at 1pm. This restaurant obviously does not have their act together. They also couldn't care less about their customers.

The attitude of my server wasn’t that I expected. Not that rude but rude enough by my perspective and that’s why you only get 20% of tip or so. By the way, you will get treated a bit better if you speak Spanglish.(you know what I mean). Let’s learn how to speak the language . Not returning. Sorry!

Ohmyword! Jalapeno crab cornbread is off the chain!!! Unexpected delight! Service was spectacular. Rockfish tacos were ok and halibut nuggets are a little piece of heaven. Very impressed.

Waited in line. Seemed like a busy place, but then again there were two cruise ships in port today. The person who took our name was very nice. We only waited around 15 minutes for seating inside by the window. We we informed by the waitress they were out of halibut, and a couple of other things. We did not blame her, we realize these things happen. We did go there for halibut. We took a few minutes and went over the menu, and decided to get an appetizer of clam chowder instead of a meal. When the waitress came back and we placed our order she very rudely said” that’s it!?” It seemed that she was upset we only ordered appetizers, or that’s the impression we got when she said that and did not bother to check on us again, but went to the table next to us a few times while we were there. We paid for the food and left. But I would not go back here. If you check my other reviews you can see that I do not normally give 2 star ratings. The soup was very strong on the onion, it was overwhelming.

This place was an absolute disaster. We waited in line for 20 minutes to get in. They gave us one glass of water for two people, and when we asked for another one, the lady told us “you never asked.” !!! We overheard a server talking loudly badmouthing another customer, he called her a Karen! So unprofessional. We ordered the same thing and ended up with two different burgers… both came out ice cold, and the fries were ice cold. Not worth it at all!

Food was good but Sitka expensive. Halibut nuggets were good. Drinks were good. Great view of mountains.

Ok food, nice atmosphere, bit over priced but it is an island so that was expected. Will I go again? Probably not.

Great cobb salad with rickfish!!

Our food was amazing here at Raven. This was a hard restaurant to find on mapquest because of the signs. We finally found it in the Westmark Hotel. Our bartender was from Barcelona and she was super friendly and a wonderful server.

They have a great wait staff and delicious food. The waitress was very helpfull and the food was perfect.

We started in the bar and then moved to a table to order food. The bartender continued to serve us at our window table on the dining floor. The food was alright but not anything fantastic. The rockfish cobb salad and halibut nuggets were decent. We did have a nice Pinot Noir.

This restaurant is a little pricey, but everything in Alaska is the same. The service was good, but the quality of the food was superb.

Don't go Sundays, most of the menu is unavailable.

Charming little place. Great food selection. A little pricy but Sitka is an island.

Service was fast and good. Food was good and had good selection.

Had the sourdough pancakes and they were ok. One was under cooked and the eggs had a different flavor. My son order the prime rib hash and the meat was good but the hash browns that came with it were soaked in butter. If I'm in Sitka again I won't be making the trip to dine here.

Food was great as was the service. 6 layer chocolate cake was huge and very tasty. All the entrees were good as well. I hear that this time of year things slow down quite a bit. 2 weeks ago things dropped off from the summer rush.
