Exactly what a deli should be - Good quality meats, simple menu items and reasonable prices. Picked up sandwiches before a hike in the area. Only negative was the rolls weren't the freshest, but it rounded up to five stars.

Sandwiches for lunch were great, especially that they use shredded lettuce. Fast service and friendly staff. Great deli to visit if staying in Lake George, NY. My go to deli when in the area. Ordered breakfast egg sandwiches and home fries, they were delicious.

Sandwiches were ridiculously expensive relative to what you get. Stopped in today to get a few and felt like they are taking advantage a bit in terms of price relative to what you get.

This place is a GEM! Every single sandwich is phenomenal and you can find anything you need for your stay or even passing by! Definitely a must go!

This place is super convenient. It looks small on the outside, but inside you find everything. From breakfasts (which are very good) to supplies to go boating for the whole day. I highly recommend it!

My family and I stopped here to get sandwiches before a day out on the lake. The sandwiches were delicious! I especially enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich but all of the sandwiches we ordered were great. The deli also offers a variety of grab and go salads and dips. Definitely stop here for some delicious food during your time in Lake George!

If I could give this place 10 starts I would! My husband and two dogs are up here for the week and we stopped here and got two salads the French dip and the chicken quesadillas. The salad was super fresh and super cold. We have a food truck business back home where we live so we know what good food taste like I called the place to let them know how much we loved their food and I think I was more impressed how appreciative she was that I called everybody is so quick nowadays to give bad reviews, but people need to take the time to give good reviews when good reviews are deserved if anybody is ever in the area you have to stop here and try their food!!! I did not have the chili because it was hot out that day, but it smells and look very good!! Thank you again on the great food and nice fast service

I peruse the food area what's left adequate but we actually came for the liquor store. Which had what we wanted, but apparently they jack up the prices because of holiday weekends because what I paid if I had bought back home would have been a lot less I was surprised at the prices. I'll remember that for next time

The breakfast burrito was huge! And tasted amazing! Great place if you're out and about and need to grab something quick to take with you! The store itself has tons of goods too for you to look at while you wait! Great place to stop!

Best deli this side of the capital. From the exceptional service to the amazing subs served with the only deli meats suitable for a true sandwich, Boarshead!!! Not to mention there top notch homemade deli salads, and a homemade chili that was made to win awards!!! It's no wonder they have won the best deli in the region now for two years in a row!!! If you haven't been here yet make sure that changes!

Any time I'm in Lake George, I always have to stop at Helova to get a breakfast sandwich. Awhile ago, my mom had seen brownies they made, posted on their Facebook page. She casually let them know I loved chocolate and peanut butter and that I'd be heading to LG in a couple months. They actually responded and said to let them know when I'll be there and there'll be some ready for me! I was blown away! I just came this morning to get the traditional breakfast sandwich and sure enough they had a container waiting for me! I am absolutely blown away by how amazing the staff is! A thousand thank you's to who made them!! You're all amazing. We'll be back again tomorrow for lunch! The food is delicious, as always!! We highly recommend Helova Deli!!

My sandwich roll was stale, they barely put any dressing on which made it even worst and then it was so expensive for 2 turkey sandwhiches. Won't be back.

The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious. The price was as much as if we had gone to a restaurant. But the sandwiches were too big for one meal for us, so the cost was less for a 2 day lunch. $30.00 for 1 large, 1 small sandwich and 2 sodas..

Had everything I needed for a short stay in Lake George - water, Gatorade, beer, and we got breakfast sandwiches one morning from the deli and they were delicious! There's also convenience items and snacks, and a liquor store next door, so this is a super convenient stop!!!

I am not one to usually review places, but i felt like this deli deserved it. I stopped by sunday night and starving not knowing what i wanted. The man behind the counter recommended a reuben and it was the best one i have ever had! I came back today and he was there again. I asked if there was anything else he recommended and he told me to get a roast beef sub that was to die for! Great recommendations and great service. Will definitely make this a tradition to stop here every time i visit!

So today me and my wife stopped in to grab some drinks for later hard seltzers and stuff like that..We are in the area on vacation..l went to the counter to pay and l said to the guy working "Whatever he's cooking l want one!" It smelled so fantastic..Turned out to be a cheese steak sandwich with the works and it was delicious!! Anyone in Lake George on vacation stop by Rays Helova Deli and you won't be disappointed!!

Stopped in for sandwiches to eat in the car. Everything listed on the board looked delicious, we ordered a few Dagwood and a hot chicken & a roast beef. The sandwiches were FANTASTIC, I can’t stress how big and tasty they were. In addition to also having everything needed for camping & outdoors, the also had a pretty killer drink and candy selection. It’s just out of the main crawl, but this place will be a primary stop every trip to LG!! Thank you guys for doing a great job!!!

Since my last review on this location it changed ownership. What a difference an owner makes. This place has some of the best food on the south side of the lake. The changes made are amazing. A friend of our let us know that a friend of theirs bought it. We went back and LOVE it! The beer selection is awesome, the camping gear is a nice touch. The food is great! Highly recommend!

Delicious sandwiches in an un-assuming roadside deli location. Great for quick lunch while in Lake George. We grabbed sandwiches and chips and ate them by the water on our most recent trip to the area. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick bit and delicious sandwiches. They also had other hot plate, and hot dishes available on the menu, but nobody in our party tried them.

We placed an order for two hungry man breakfasts at this establishment. However, despite the name, the hungry man was left still hungry after consuming the meal. The breakfast included three eggs, some hash browns, one round sausage, and a sub bun. While the food was not exceptional, it was at least convenient. On a positive note, the store had a wide selection of items, offering everything one might need and more. We were able to purchase firewood for $10, and the fire starter provided worked wonderfully, making it easy to get our fire going.

Really Good Roast Beef and French Dip Sandwiches...a little wait, but worth it.
