Very friendly staff, awesome meals & great service .... highly recommend it!!!

Waitress was on top of Everything and food was excellent!

Atmosphere was loud and energetic. Came with a group everyone loved their dishes. The pasta was amazing. Felt like homemade like my Italian grandma.

We visited for our 25th anniversary. The atmosphere, staff, and food were great. We both had delicious pasta. I loved their tomato bisque soup. The firecracker shrimp were good but not too spicy.

They guys at the bar will also let you know where the fish are bitting. The margaritas are phenomenal too!

On July 20th we were in your restaurant for dinner. The wait staff was amazing. I ordered a salad with steak that was amazing. My husband ordered your signature spicy pasta dish. Which he has had in many restaurants. When it arrived there was more spicy sauce than pasta. He requested additional pasta to cut the spice to make the dish edible. The manager on duty told our waiter that it would be an extra $2. We agreed because we didn't want to make an issue. When the additional pasta was ready the manager on duty came and slide it on our table and quickly walked away. He did not make eye contact, nor did he ask how our dinner was. Please have a conversation with your management staff on how to treat customers. Or leave it to the wait staff! They were amazing!

I was so disappointed with the food and the presentation of the food. My cousins fruit cup was a cut up sour apple

Met my daughter, son in-law and grandson. The food was a let down. You never know until you try!

We just ate here and everything was delicious. The only issue we had was the manager on charge. He was a jerk and very rude to us. My sister in law has back issues and we asked nicely to be moved to a table where our feet could touch the floor and he said no to us. On a side note the food was delicious and our waitress was awesome.

Food was great. Even though my pasta dish at $22 had five pieces of tiny steak in it. I would go back.

Nice place we shared a meal so we had room for dessert. Enjoyed the chicken and we were seated right away always a good stop in the state capitol.

Bar tender is over worked, but does an awesome job. Manager should have been helping to build drinks during the busy time but she was nowhere to be found. Had spicy chicken and shrimp entree and it was absolutely perfect. Salad could use some help as the Ceasar salad seemed like old lettuce. Entree was awesome. Will come back and test more options.

Service was great. The young man was very pleasant and professional service was a bit slow but he kept us updated. The food was well presented and very tasty. I always enjoy my time spent at the Red Rossa.

Great location, food portions were generous and delicious. The "cheese bread" was unlike any I have experienced which is usually a few slices of bread with garlic butter and cheese. This was more like a cheese pizza and was again, delicious. The prices were reasonable.

The food here was delicious and the quantity of pasta was very generous! The happy hour bruschetta was wonderful and only $6! My toddler was loving the warm bread, bruschetta tomatoes, and steak & Gorgonzola penne!

I don’t normally write reviews unless my experience was exceptional, positive or negative. Tonight’s visit to RedRossa was excellent! My first time. The baked ravioli was fabulous! Shout out to Melissa, Pierre server of the year! Kudos!

Pleasantly surprised to run across this place. Absolutely superb food. Large portions. The bread to dip in olive oil was amazing! The house salad was excellent and had an antipasto spin to it. Very attentive and friendly service!

I live in Pierre and this is my wife and I's typical dinner spot when we go out. Chicken parmesan, honey almond chicken, and steak tips have always been my favorite.

Service is always excellent. Food is fresh and as expected for an Italian-american menu.

We showed up late shortly before closing. And the staff / manager were amazing. We had to rush to leave and they were quick to help us. And the food was great. Kudos RedRossa italian Grille

One of the best restaurants in Pierre! Love the selection, the price and the atmosphere. We don't need Olive Garden when we Have Red Rosa!

Food was barely warm, smaller portions and not as tasty as it used to be. A big plus, our waitress, Robin, was super friendly and apologetic.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server was exceptionally nice and attentive.

Food was good, but the portion was more like appetizer sized, not main course. For the price was disappointing. Server seemed overworked. I sat at the bar, which was my mistake. One party next to me seemed determined that everyone around them be blessed by hearing their conversation. Was passing through town, but will try somewhere else next time.

The food and atmosphere were exceptional. However, our waitress was extremely inconsiderate and rude. She offered bread and it was never brought to our table even though she offered it twice. She spilled my drink causing her to have another one made. Our salads were brought along with the main meal and the bill. She was at our table every five minutes clearing plates but never asked if we needed anything or if the meal was okay. She even attempted to clear my plate which I was still eating from. She was clearly in a hurry and when I asked she said her shift was over and she wanted to go home. For the price we paid for our delicious meal I was extremely disappointed in the service.

The food was good. The server was not. She didn't bring the appetizers we ordered, she brought us each 2 water glasses on an already full table, never cleared any dishes and I had to ask for the check which took her 10 min to bring.

The service was excellent. The server and support staff were incredibly attentive and very friendly!! The food was exceptional. I had the Grilled Salmon. It is my must have now. My mother had the fettuccine and was incredibly pleased. The kids had pizza. The pizza was a nice portion. They also came with a salad as an option. The pizza crust was fresh and they make their own ranch dressing.

Used to be a good place to eat but since they changed the menu it is terrible

This was my first visit but family raves every time they visit! I enjoyed a salad and chicken alfredo, both of which were excellent, especially for the price! Our waitress was also very friendly :)

We were visiting Pierre to see the Christmas trees at the capitol and were looking for a nice place to eat. We went in and were seated and were nevrr acknowledged after that. Other people came in and were served. Waitresses walked by and never looked at us. Finally we got up and walked out. We asked the hostess as we were leaving why we weren't served and she just giggled.

Conviently attached to the Clubhouse Hotel & Suites. Service was friendly. Food was very good. I had a small Italian and my wife had Steak & Gorgonzola Penne. My pizza was loaded with toppings. Wr chose to sit at the bar (tables where available). The bar top was a bit sticky and the bar stools were backless, though wel padded.

The service was good and our waitress was super polite. The atmosphere was very nice but did receive flat beer and watered down sangria. Our food was fine, by no means amazing. The calamari was very disappointing. We received 95% fried peppers and tomatoes and 5% squid. If you charge $15 for this please tell people they are essentially ordering fried peppers. (The rectangular plate has the amount of actual calamari we were served)

Good food & excellent service. Even though they are very busy, waitstaff takes time to be extra hospitable. Nice bar area for a pre dinner cocktail.

We tried the pizza chicken Alfredo pizza it was good and the meaty pizza. I tried the potato prosciutto soup, I didn't care for it. It lacked flavor and didn't care for the texture. We did not care for our server. She started taking people's food order before she even took our drink orders or asking about appetizers and she was rude when we asked questions about items.

We have eaten here twice recently. The food is just ok. Had the shrimp and grits with the potatoe soup. Both were salty. We split a slice of chocolate cake, and it was dry. The pizza our table ordered was cooked well and loaded with cheese, but the luncheon meat on it tasted old. Our waitress was great.

This place is the best! We lost ours in MN but the spicy chicken and shrimp ramano is something you will never regret ordering. Italian nacho's and thier calamari are second to none as well. Definately worth a 6.5 hour drive for. Food is amazing! Need to get out their again next year with the bike!

Stopped in for a nights stay and meal here. Welcomed and served by Shay who was awesome. She made a lot of great recommendations and suggestions regarding food and drinks and meals didn't disappoint! Good value and great flavours (the salad Caprese was soooo good). Shay and her son Brian were great in their looking after the three of us, fantastic service and made for a memorable night. Cheers

Penne with grilled chicken, mushrooms, and almonds in a honey cream sauce is scrumptious! I highly recommend this dish!

Got sat at 4:10 and the waitress sat and visited in front of us what felt like forever…..never got water or nothing so we left at 4:27. We even asked the front desk lady who our waitress was since we hadn’t been helped but nothing! It’s a shame! Really going down hill, could be super nice!

Had the salmon. Oh my word, It was excellent. Dessert was fabulous. Atmosphere was just perfect.

I was born in Alaska and spoiled by salmon long before I left grade school. Having said that, I just had the best salmon I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Highly recommend!

Had a great meal here. Had to sit inside because there was no fly control on the patio. I wish Italian restaurants would play Italian music, for atmosphere.

Best Restaurant in Pierre. You will be ASTOUNDED. Do stop by for Lunch OR Supper, and have an appetizer too! Our waiter was a cool, hip, and funny dude from the Caribbean. We loved the décor in the Restaurant as well. Don't miss out, eat to your hearts content :)

Pizza was amazing, all of the ingredients tasted quality. Pricing is expensive but worth it if you have the time!

I had the house burger and fries..the burger was good and the fries were crisp. Prices are reasonable.

So many flies it was u comfortable eating.

They could use a revamped specialty cocktail menu, but the seasonal food menus are fresh and fun. This would be a great place to bring clients if you're having dinner functions. I'd love to see them bring lasagna back to the menu.

A busy evening but we were asked for our seating preference, which I liked. The restaurant is connected directly to the hotel with a through entrance as well as a separate one to the carpark. The food was good and tasty with a good selection of "Italian" options.

What a gem in Pierre. Some of the best pizza I've had, great service, and a full drink menu. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone who finds themselves in Pierre for whatever reason.

This restaurant was attached to the Clubhouse Inn, where I was staying. The dinner and service were excellent! I had grilled walleye, salad, and bread. The fish was cooked perfectly, and served on top of a lovely mixture of asparagus and other veggies. Emerald, the server was awesome. So glad I went there!

My boyfriend stops in here for work on occasion and he spoke highly of how good the food and service is. But when he brought me it was in between rushes. The waitress took our orders and didn't come back until the table who showed up after us mentioned we never received drinks. She didn't bring them until AFTER her manager brought our food. We were never asked how the food tasted, offered refills, and she would make eye contact and purposely avoid us. When we waited at least 20 minutes to get her attention to receive our ticket and to go boxes, she gives us attitude for being backed up when a majority of tables were empty. Once she took our card, she proceeded to walk around doing other duties before we received it back to leave.

The service was AWESOME!!!! Food was very substandard. Definitely won't go back for the food, but the folks that worked there were great!!

We had lunch here and my husband and I shared a pizza and the Pear Gorgonzola Salad. Both were very good. In fact, we liked the salad so much that I've been making it at home. Their menu has a nice variety also.

We ordered 2 pizza and the Italian pizza the topping were so skimpy and very little mozzarella and the Chicken Alfredo pizza had a short black hair in the cheese so easy to see in the white cheese, GROSS!! We would of taken it back but we had already left by the time we seen everything, very disappointed! We also ordered there nachos a few days ago and there was hardly any cheese and very little chicken, I would rather pay more for more topping, don't set your standards to high for some of there food!!

We sat in the restaurant for half an hour without anyone even talking to our table. We even talked to the manager in case neglecting us was an oversight, but still no one came.

It was a little spendy for lunch but it was very good.

15 people working. One person doing the work. Stood at the “wait to be seated” sign for 5 minutes while the workers looked at us and did nothing. Finally someone comes along and says “can I help you”? Um yes, would like a place to sit and get lunch. Took 20 min for margarita and 2 waters, had to ask for the bread. Even a guy leaving walked by and said “manager stands at the bar doing nothing and we wait for 5 minutes, place is well run…” Horrible service

Great food and presentation. The restaurant was super busy and we had prompt service and the food was delicious. I ordered chicken with a champagne sauce and my husband the walleye. My daughter got Mac and cheese and we were all pleased. The only downfall was portion size was not huge but that is to be expected from this type of restaurant.

Wife steak more well done then medium and she eat only half, my salad dressing was blue cheese and it was more runny then water couldn’t eat it. The walleye was almost guaranteed to have bone in every bite, it looked fancy but not worth it!

Waitress was very good. She was friendly and attentive. Food was just OK. Burger seemed like a premade (prefab) and not a fresh patty. Beef sandwich was a few slices of deli meat on ciabatta style bread. Bread was good but overall the sammie was just average. Good atmosphere though. Fun vibe and it was fairly lively and busy.

Burger and fries were cold. Salad was supposed to be mixed greens with crispy chicken medallions. It was romaine lettuce with chopped up chicken. Cabernet was cold like it came out of the refrigerator. Have had better meals here before so was very disappointed.

I ordered the Italian dip. FLIPPEN AWESOME!!!

Just a completely atrocious experience. An hour and ten minutes after we arrived at 1130 am for lunch for they messed up our order twice and didnt get mine until I had about 5 minutes left to eat. Both waitresses were rude, no refills check in even once, and a minimal apology when we got the bill. Food was cold of course and taste was substandard other than the salad which was fine. Overpriced disappointment for sure.

Our server was super, the food was wonderful, and they successfully accommodated a gluten free celiac. :-) We were all so happy with the experience!

The nachos were pretty good and the bread was great, but the pizza was pretty dry and the chicken Alfredo was gross. The waitress was not very good either.

Initially waited a long time to be served. Sandy quickly rectified the poor service and got us our food in a timely and friendly manner. Food was fire.

Very good food! The chicken parm and the Sparkling chicken were so good, as was the Chocolate Espresso Cake dessert. Highly recommend!

Excellent service, good selection. Not cheap but not too over the top. Easy in and out.

Food was great, however the service was slow. We all just need to be patient while so many people are working with short staffing.

Chicken Parmigiana was not very good. Lots of chicken, but it was tough and had no breading. Gorgonzola and pear salad was not well put together, and the dressing was not very good.

I ate here for dinner and have been sick for hours. I had the chicken fettuccine and a couple hours after getting back to the hotel I became sick. The sickness has not let up and it is terrible.

I think I expected too much. Many of my friends attested to how they were worth stopping by. I had the grilled walleye while my husband had the chicken marsala. We both didn't like what we ordered. Sure they were edible but we were expecting mouthwatering. I liked the soup I had though. Their garden salad is nothing like the garden salad we are used to. The only thing I loved about the place is the fact that it is airy and classy. All in all, I would say it was a bit of a letdown.

Great service, and fantastic food. Our server was SO nice and recommended a fabulous dessert, the coffee toffee chocolate cake thing. Everything was so good we couldn't stop eating even when full. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a good meal with my work group. The server Donny was helpful. The food was good. I had the Carne Robusto Pizza.

We were staying over the road at the Baymont (terrible) and could side this place from the window. It looked a bit funereal from the outside, but it was close so we gave it the benefit of the doubt. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the inside is less gloomy than the out. We were served quickly and the food was good. Only issue, my sun is a vegetarian and ordered the macaroni cheese, when it arrived it had bacon pieces in, which weren't mentioned on the menu.

Hard to rate off one take out meal, but it was horrible. I had the chicken alfredo and everything about was wrong. chicken was like styrofoam and tasteless. broccoli had no flavor and undercooked. The sauce was just a pure liquid and had no taste. It was also ridiculously hot, it melted the container and burned my hands when touching it. I had to wait 20 minutes to eat it. Only good part was the garlic bread. The staff at the front desk were pleasant when picking up the food. By far one of the worst meals i’ve ever had in my life.

Food was outstanding, served quickly. Service was mediocre at best. Drinks took a while to arrive at the table. Appetizer didn't arrive until we were half done with our meal. Server never offered to refill our drinks and only checked on us once after the food was served.

I am gluten free I am glad there's a few items I can and substitute for ,the sauce was good and simple ,the chicken was dry the gluten free noodles were okay not the best some of noodles weren't cooked all the way through it was hard to chew and some were crunchy . I ate the dish either way because I paid for it for it being 16 dollars . ..

Everything was fine, but it wasn't fantastic. Too much cheese for the crust on pizza. Not super flavorful. Cheese bread was more cheese pizza.

We had the chicken parmigiana and chicken Alfredo. The chicken in the Alfredo was dry and neither had much taste, but the server was great.
