I was excited to order the loaded baked potato until I got it, and was sadly disappointed. You could tell it had been made in the microwave and was still hard in the center..very dry and no green onions and very little bacon and cheese or butter. For the price, it should have been seasoned on the outside and actually "BAKED" in an oven as the best part is usually the skin. I was very disappointed and Im sure others would be as well..Baking them in the oven even gives them a better taste. Hoping you will change the way they are fixed from now on. The service was fantastic though!

Been by here but was always closed. Glad today they were open. Super nice service, really good food. Took 1 star off because they charge 3% for using credit/debit. I don't go back places that do this. What a shame.

Update as of 02-08-2023: Reid's began offering dinner-hour service this month, on weekdays. Same menu as the lunch one. They have discontinued offering specially-priced "duos," which were a half sandwich & cup of soup, so new menu pictures are needed. Reid's has also begun adding an extra 3% to your bill for use of credit or other cards for payment, so bring your greenbacks when you eat here. Still a very popular place for lunches. Previous review: My sister had one experience of slow service here after the ownership change. But we've been here twice in November-December 2022, and all problems seem to have been worked out. Great soups, salads and sandwiches, prompt service, clean & friendly dining room. I recommend Reid's.

We were driving around the area and decided to give this place a try. Luckily they were open. (Hours are 11-2) Service was fast and friendly. Food was outstanding! The Cuban, tomato basil soup, Italian Panini, cottage cheese, rhubarb pie, and fudge brownie were top notch quality. If we're ever in the area again we'll stop by for more.

The food was good, but service was slow. My sandwich i guess they forgot to make it. Waitress said it would be out soon. When I asked about 40 minutes later while my husband was eating, she informed me that she had other customers. Our first visit may be our last.

Great place for soup and sandwiches. We had the dill potato soup, gourmet grilled cheese and chicken panini. All were very tasty and served quickly. Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again when traveling through. Highly recommend. It'll take you about 8 to 10 minutes to get to off I-69 but worth the trip (and there is a nice Casey's nearby for gas)

Extremely busy but staffed with efficient and friendly wait staff. Glad I ordered a half sandwich....couldn't even finish it given the size of it. Highly recommend this restaurant

Had clam chowder and "small" Cobb salad. Both were delicious but the salad was huge! Friendly staff. Will go back again!

Cuban sandwich was good. Lots of meat. Would recommend. Soups are also very good. They have different ones each day as their specials. Didn’t like their Italian sandwich - wouldn’t order again. Parking was easy. Would recommend for lunch or whenever you are craving some sandwich.

Well once again I love the food here. It's got amazing soups and sandwiches. They also have a super spud that is out of this world. You will just have to try this out for yourself. Get there early as some things sell out fast.

Best food in Washington Indiana, hands down. The menu is a bit on the pricier side but absolutely worth it. Portion sizes are more than adequate. The service is impeccable. 100% recommend.

Excellent little diner. I had the tuna melt and it was delicious! Strawberry lemonade was good, too. They have odd hours so you might want to double check that they're open before you go. Excellent customer service from everyone there.

Wife and I really enjoyed. I got the French Dip with the soup. Not sure I would of enjoyed the French Onion Soup by its self but with the bread and meat from the sandwich, it was wonderful. Friendly service. Reasonable priced.

I travel to Washington, IN a handful of times a year for work. Reid's pretty much has exclusive rights to my lunch hour! Their food is always fresh, and tastes great. They have great sandwiches (hot and cold), the salad portions are very generous, and their baked potato options are great, and are full of toppings. My absolute favorite item on the menu is "Beck's Beef", pretty sure that sandwich has changed my life! Keep up the great work Reids!

One of my favorite places to eat in Washington. They make the best reuben on rye! They are always out quick with the food.

Great place for lunch. Everyone is very friendly. Prices are reasonable, around $10 for lunch. I wish they were open for more than lunch, and open on weekends. The food is really good. If you like tomato soup, theirs is fantastic. Actually, I've never been disappointed with anything I have ordered there.

Cool staff, great food. I was making my way south through Indiana, and this was an awesome stop for me. I got a rueban and potato salad, still remember it even though it was months ago.
