The only reason I can't give them 5⭐ is cause I haven't had more than half the menu. But the pie and the stromboli are way too good. It's unethical that their competitors have to deal with them. I'm literally know as the stromboli guy.

I didn't know what to expect of Renna's Pizza. It was a comp lunch given to my team and I by a client. They raved about this place and I've never tried their food before. Not to mention I don't prefer pizza any day or the year so it's not my most favorite thing like most people. I ordered the basic small cheese pizza. Surprisingly, their pizza is none like other local pizza places in Jacksonville. They serve NY inspired pizza and hot subs. I love that their pizza is not all dough. Thin crust and simple nice flavor and tasted natural. I now look for the flavor and have been to this place two more times in the last 10 days. Took home to hubs and he loved it too! He also ordered their Calzone and his feedback was the size of their calzone compared to other places is smaller and the taste is 3 out of 5. Another thing I like about Renna's is they do not sell other food that stray them away from the NY style pizza they specialize. Although having wings would be great to order with pizza, they do not serve it. So good job and keep serving great pizza. You will have my business as long as you keep serving that cheese pizza! I give 4 stars to average the rating of 5 for the pizza and 3 for the calzone that hubby ordered. 4 stars for atmosphere. The place needs more light and update.

Store actually closes at 8:30pm on sunday for dine in. Website doesn't say that. We got there at 8:20pm and were informed that at 8:30 they don't seat any more people, but as I said it was at 8:20 pm. Had we known this we would have gone to Aaron's pizza, they seat people right up until the closing time advertised.

Went to Renna's Pizza tonight 28th July got here at 820 was told by server they only do take out after 830 because they close at 9 and have to clean up so they can get out on time. Mind you they give you paper plates plastic forks and paper cups for your drinks exactly where is the extra clean up. Who knows. Not sure if we will be coming back.

Just no. This over rated for some reason. Maybe good for large groups or something but $15 + tip for a medium like barely 10inch pizza with barely any pepperoni felt like insult to injury having to sit in traffic to get this pizza. Like it's ok but maybe $10 would be a better price point I tried supporting a local business and felt over charged and underwhelmed sadly. Wish I read the other reviews before ordering.

Asked for a slice of pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and sausage. Instead of getting something fresh, I received this horrible Frankenstein concoction. You can tell that the slice of pizza was already a pep slice, but damn you couldn’t even add more cheese on top for a better disguise. Had issues before, decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Yea, never going back to this place. This used to be such a good place, so sad how they are now.

Great hole in the wall pizza spot! I love their two slices and a drink combo. They even will cut the slices up for those with kiddos. It’s not the cleanest of places but, my standards weren’t high for the location. Good pizza and friendly staff!

Got a large pizza that had a soggy and floppy undercarriage. The toppings just slid right off the slice when you lifted it. Being from NYC this is a laughable excuse for NY style pizza. I came here based on a friend's recommendation he gave me years ago and boy was this a major mistake and disappointment. They must have fell off big time or have new owners. Wasted over 30 bucks on garbage pizza. Never again.

My family has enjoyed Renna's pizza for over 20 yrs. Always a bright spot to visit after shopping in Argyle. We arrived a little after 8p to find most of the chairs placed on tables, the floor was dirty and the staff unfriendly. We waited for the slices of pizza and when they were ready they handed us a box instead of plates. Even though there was NO service, the credit card machine gave option for 15% 20% 25% Tip. We gave 15% prior to receiving our pizza. The pizza was too salty and greasy, nothing like in the past. From the reviews, I find that the owners sold. No more pizza to look forward to at Argyle, what a shame.

They are all ways polite and genuine My experience is always 5 solid stars Just wish they stayed open later because I work at night and would be there more than once a week....None of the other pizzeria are getting my business in Duval....#Renna's #BrooklynStyle

Some of, if not the best pizza in town. Lunch special is 2 slices and a drink. I usually get meatball and jalepeno as my toppings. My wife got a sub which she really enjoyed.

Was my favorite but went today Something changed the whole table noticed. The pizza was flavorless. They changed the sauce i think absolutely no flavor tasted like a can of plain tomato sauce. Cheese had no flavor either. Won't go back been a fan for many years😑

Had a pizza there when it was previous owner and it was good. However, this time not so good. The large pizza was barely the size of a personal pizza at other places. We also ordered spaghetti with meatballs. The sauce tasted burnt. Meatballs were tasteless. With a new owner you'd think they'd spruce the place up. Nope. The oven looks like it's been IN a fire. And the tables and chairs are really old and outdated.

The pizza, calzones are not the same as Renna’s has been for decades. Not sure if they’re under new ownership or what?? What ever happened , they have ruined what used to be a great pizza, etc.

I ordered online to be picked up at 6:22pm. I got there at 6:22pm, I was told 10 more minutes. No problem at all. I understand. 25 minutes later one of the girls from the back checked one of the done boxes to see it was mine. Keep in mind that box had been there at least 15 minutes. Everyone else has their names called for orders…not mine, even though everyone there saw me sitting at the table closest to the counter for the last 25 minutes. I never left that table, everyone working there looked at me multiple times. The food is always great, however the staff needs serious work. Very disappointing

For the people who don't know Renna's pizza sold to new owners. I have eaten there twice and I must say it was terrible both times the pizza crust was not done and there was hardly any crust the steak sandwich was dry meat and the bread was so hard you could not bite into it wasted 48 dollars twice will never go there again what a shame I have been eating here for 7years very sad

I am from Bronx, NY and I will give this pizza 6/10 for trying. The cheese is salty nothing like NY pizza and the sauce needs something more. The crust is good but it is nothing compare to NY pizza. Thaw garlic nots were really good but that’s about it. I appreciate knowing they are from Newark, NJ which is what I can tell is not NY inspire.

Had been going here for years and years. They apparently sold to someone new in the last year or so, and the food just isn't the same anymore. Not the same old rennas. Staff is always friends but it's just not the same anymore :(

Restaurant is freezing cold. Pizza is mid quality at best. Topping and cheese slid right off the crust. Didn't even eat the pizza, just got a box to take it home where I threw it away. If I could get my money back, I would. Waste of $33 bucks. If you want good pizza in Jax, go to Al's or Tony D's. Rennas is a scam.

Placed an order for over $100 of food and included a five dollar tip. When I arrived to pick up, I asked for Styrofoam cups since we had a group of eight people I would be doing a in office lunch for. They provided me with 3 cups. When I ask the employee why they could only give me 3 cups she began to argue that it’s product going out the door and they have costs. I do a lot of these lunches and I can confirm I will never be giving my business to this establishment again. For 10 or $.15 per cup on $100 order with the potential for repeat business I think any Smart business owner would do the math

My family and I have been long time patrons of this establishment. During our most recent visit my party and specifically myself were interrupted and asked to quiet down as our voices were “ bouncing off of the wall we were facing and interrupting the pizza maker”. She didn’t come to the table and speak she was walking by to go back to the kitchen. However a TV was right above our table and the location was full. I have never experienced this type of approach about noise at any establishment. My family will no longer be visiting this location due to the rudeness from the employee. She stated,” I was as nice as I could be to you people”.

It’s the oldest Rena’s and it’s because the people are great and the pizza is amazing! I pass 4 pizza joints to get to hers. Worth every bit!! And they do a military discount so thank you!!

It was absolutely delicious!! The Stromboli was smaller than expected, but surprisingly I could only eat 1/2 of it. We will definitely order again.

Best place to get a NY style pizza, just ask them to make it super flat & crispy, skip the add on's and enjoy. Prices are fair especially in this day and age. 👍

Don't come to this location This is not Renna's Pizza I walked in at 7:45 and they told me they only had one slice. They Don't Close until 9 O'clock

Overall my experience here has been great thus far until today. Came in to pick up a pizza that I place over the phone. I ask for crushed pepper packets and cheese. I was given ONE packet of crushed peppers . When I requested more I was told they were expensive and it would be an additional 50cent each. Not understanding the math of one whole pizza to one single crushed pepper packet. I would love for a manager to contact me and explain this policy. The worst part is having the nerve to request a tip. Not happening. Maybe next time , I will wait to get my crushed pepper and cheese before leaving a tip.

Best pizza I've eaten, I have been a search for certain taste since I left from down south(Antonio's pizzaria)new york style pizza, I left 2015, and I searched all over Jacksonville, and I finally found a pizzeria that is mighty close.....the pie was awesome, I must say.

We are there half an hour early to close seats and tables are put up. Tried to order a pizza no go.The restaurant should close at 930pm instead of 10 pm. Guess the days of staying open to the time is over everybody wants to go home at 10pm not do closing till 1030 so they start at 930 .

Food is great, but how do you not have slices of pizza at 6pm when you close at 9pm. Waste of a 20 min drive.

Chicken Parmisian was awful. Very disappointed!! Red sauce tasted like a cheap can sauce.....if not worse. Cheap cheese laid on top......definitely would never order again!! PIizza was good.....

This was a great find. Hidden gem for sure. Giant size slices of pizza. Got 1 slice, since it's big, a side salad which also big and a sweet tea for about $10. Great value! If you get 1 slice and a drink it's about $5. They also have desserts. Very friendly staff. I believe the whole pizzas were 12-16. Enjoy!

They have great Italian food I ordered the chicken parmesan with Spaghetti,Caesar salad and garlic bread and the service was good.

It's hard to find genuine NY style P pizza, I am glad I finally tried the pizza here. True NY pizza. 10/10. Highly recommended.

Update: Today was not their day, i ordered pick up and they said “it’ll be about a 30 minute wait”. I got there 30 minutes later and the guy at the counter said “about another 15 minutes” which was fine and understandable. After 30 minutes of waiting I went up to the counter to inform them it had been an hour and they then grabbed two boxes on top of the oven that I had been staring at for the last 30 minutes. They said “here’s your order.” I asked them if they think it might be cold, and the guy said “no, it just came out of the oven” the same boxes I had been starting at for 30 minutes had somehow just come out of the oven. It okay you made a mistake, it’s not great that you didn’t admit it and fix it. Pizza and garlic bread were cold. ————————————————————————— So good! Every time we order here, the food is the same quality as before. They definitely have a high standard for their food and customer service. This is the best pizza in/around the orange park area hands down.

Ordered an XL pizza online took 45 minutes to get there because traffic on Blanding is a nightmare all of the time. I was just happy to finally arrive, until I walked into the establishment and the two people behind the counter literally just STARED at me like I wasn’t supposed to be there. I finally greeted them like I worked there and told them I had a takeout order. Last time I’m going here. Pizza mediocre. Service complete trash, and to think I paid and ripped before I went.

The pizza was great!!! I only gave 3 stars because we ordered the cheese garlic bread and never got it. I told lady at register about it and she just shrugged it off

This is the greatest way to get a delicious fresh pizza with not much wait, the owner seems to be extremely hands on and involved with his team and the community. Hats off to rennas pizza! My husband and I love the warm welcome every time. This place is always clean and kept up. Thank you rennas

The food was mediocre at best. I could make it better at home. Also, no quality pizza place would use canned mushrooms on their pizza. It was obvious that's what they used. Definitely not worth the money. I almost asked for a refund. Skip this place.

Love this place as my local pizza spot. I usually get the calzone. It's. It's not the fastest place but good food never is and well worth the wait. Call ahead and you'll be happy.

1st time trying this restaurant. I didn't care for the oregano on top and wasn't aware they did that. Otherwise, I would've asked them not to add. Besides this, it was pretty good. Eventually, we will probably go back, because we live an hour away.

Ordered a medium pepperoni and large deluxe well done. Not well done. Definitely not the same taste or texture. This is not the Rennas I know. Never throw away Rennas but this one I did.

Don’t get the chicken park sandwich. Tasteless. I know I know, don’t go to a pizza place and order a sandwich, but their topping selection sucks unless like/can eat pork which o can’t due to allergies.

Came in to sit and wait for my pizza. While waiting all I’m listening to is the blonde headed pizza maker complain about stuff, yell at employee cause she needed sauce. There was only myself and another person waiting for a pick up order. Two medium size tables were being used. A family came in and tried to put two tables together and this mean blonde headed pizza maker told the family they have to move different tables together to not block walk way🤦🏽‍♀️..I then counted all the tables..13 tables in total..only two being occupied and rudely address new customers about how to move two freaking tables together. My thought is this place is dead there’s other walk ways. Why not accommodate your customers!!!! If I was that family I would have got up and left!!! Now on to the pizza..let’s just say I had to finish the pizza in my air fryer cause it was under cooked. Definitely won’t ever visit this place again

Buyer beware!, this over priced Domino's is about as Ny style as New England clam chowder .With its low quality imitation pizza save yourself time and money and just go to an actual Domino's

I have always loved Renna's Argyle but last night the pizza was different it was too dry and was missing something. I kept hearing one of the cooks say not to put olive oil on anything but the rolls so wondering if the pizza was missing olive oil on dough before sauce? Very disappointed....

It was my first time trying this place, so I asked for two pizzas and a cheese slice and I'll be picking it up right away. The young lady told me they can't put slices on order and it can just be added when I get there. I advised her I needed it for my 3yr old because she didn't need a whole pizza but I'll be coming to get it right away. So she advised me 20 mins and off I went. Well, she advised when I got there that she sold the cheese slices she had and there were no more. I was quite disappointed because u knew u had a customer coming that needed a slice but u were just like, oh well, first come first serve and then just shrug ur shoulders?? Then continued to explain that when i called, there were slices there, but not now. No customer service or nothing just this "not my problem" attitude. So I advised her that I won't be coming back and the only thing she asked was "ok, do you want a receipt?" I ended up just tossing everything all together and just grabbed something at Publix.

Argyle is the best. Tried them all. And this location just tastes better.

The service was prompt. The garlic knots needed to be cooked longer. Flavoring was good but the texture and taste was mostly raw dough. I may try it one more time.

Tonight our pizza was awful, we have been coming to this Renna's Pizza since it first opened, over 30 years. I doubt we will be back. What you see in the picture is a slice of our LARGE pizza. The crust was thick all the way across, not floppy like a New York pizza should be. Forget about stretchy cheese, and saucy pizza nothing moved on the top of this pizza! So disappointing, it has been going down hill for years, we are finally ready to accept it no longer serves New York style pizza 😕

I’ve been a customer for 25+ years. I never had any issues with the staff, always cordial and professional. So, this last visit was a rude awakening. I ordered on the phone, I picked up and handed $5 Mint magazine coupon, total with coupon $28.92. I proceeded to leave and then was told my coupon was for 2 xl pizzas. I asked for “bod” . No way coupon is only for 2 xl pizzas. I have never had this company be so unforgiving, so stringent with coupons. The pizza maker “aka the rudest staff member” told me to leave if I didn’t like it and told they didn’t care if I came back. Mind you all this was said with two customers in the store, which subsequently left and immediately said they also never experienced such rudeness and outright disregard and disrespect for a customer. They both left and said they wouldn’t return to this place again. Maybe, more training is called for or a lesson in kindness perhaps. We’re all going through tough times and I hope a bit of gratitude is shown to your patrons.

As being a native New Yorker, I would say Rennas has the most authentic NY style pizza. Overall the service is pretty good nothing to boast about. And the food is overpriced but I guess anything with NY in its name is expensive. Still a pretty good place to get pizza though. 4 stars for it being overpriced.
