Very good food and fairly priced. This authentic Colombian cuisine is very refreshing. You get your moneys worth of food. I couldn’t finish everything they gave me, and I felt bad about it. It’s definitely worth trying out if you have never had Colombian food. I plan on going back. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was also very clean.

I walked in for a Cuban and ended up leaving with the biggest smile on my face. The owner Richard was so so nice and played the guitar and sang with such an amazing voice. Would totally recommend this place and will come back!

Such a great authentic Colombian restaurant. The owner is super nice and loves to practice his English with the customers. The food is delicious and it’s all made fresh in house. We had the arepas. My hubby and I have been twice and have taken our in-laws. Because a lot of it is made with corn, there are gluten free options, which made my MIL happy! We plan to go back! I wish I took a picture of my food. It was too good, I smashed 🤭

This an updated review. The food is extraordinarily delicious (still) however the chefs are now careless, for I order the arepas hogada and received, a Patacon and arepa con carne. Not what I wanted. I used to be a regular and they know about my peculiar allergy to cilantro and carelessly they sent these. See pictures attached. Unfortunately, it was like taking money and throwing in it on the trash. I truly hope they improve this 🙏🏽

Amazing staff and atmosphere . Excellent chef who makes sure every dish is exceptional . Owner is also a great singer who likes to sing and has a setup for that .

My wife and I had breakfast there this morning! I ordered a Bandeja Montañera, and my wife ordered an arepa with cheese and plátanos maduros. We drank café con leche and jugo de mora (blackberry juice)! The food was excellent, the service was exceptional and the environment was welcoming, charming and warm! We will return! Ps, I also ordered 10 empanadas to-go! We each had one beef empanada with the iconic and excellent Colombian ají sauce! Delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Small, clean restaurant in strip mall with great service and food! The gentleman who waited on us may have been the owner and he was very patient and kind while explaining certain items on the menu to us... very friendly and accommodating as well. We ordered Chicken with yellow rice (which came with fresh, delicious, perfectly prepared plantains), Arepa with cheese and shredded beef, and a Cuban sandwich. Everything was tasty and fresh. We left with doggie bags and very full, satisfied tummies. We will be back!

Definitely need a place as welcoming as this where I’m at. The food does not disappoint, amazing Cuban sandwiches and best rice pudding I’ve had in a long time.

A great place to eat, the owner is very helpful and gave us very cordial attention, he sings and if you want to sing he also has kareoke. The only thing is that if I could put a Colombian flag to better identify the place as Colombian.

Richard, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. My husband, daughter, and I went at a slow time of the day and he treated us like family….he even sang to us. (He has a beautiful voice) The authentic Colombian cuisine was delicious. If you are anywhere in the area…..GO!

No my first time eating here, but today i tried something different, I was so disappointed the bandeja Montaneña came with 3 tiny pieces of sweet plantains, if you put them all together it barely does add to one full piece that any other Colombian restaurant put

It's like being in Colombia for a moment, its food is like trying grandma's lunches, it's really so cozy.

3 stars because I found a strand of hair in my food and my best friend found a strand of hair in his food as well. The food was great, but we will not be returning. The server didn't know the menu because every time we would ask if they had certain things, he would reply with "Let me check with the cook" and make phone calls to the owner to ask. We asked for beverages that were $6 (extremely small drinks) and had to ask for ice because it was warm. Nice people, but I wouldn't want to eat food with hair in it again. Sorry.

This place is amazing! The owner is super friendly, I felt like I was at his house and they were cooking me homemade Columbian food. I had the Sancocho soup which had beef potatoes plantains carrots corn almost like a stew with a delicious broth. Really big portions with a side of rice and avocado yummy 🤤 My husband had the steak drizzled with a homemade chimichurri sauce rice beans and plantains that was 🔥 🔥 🔥 I also had a mango drink that was made fresh. I will definitely be back! I loved everything about this place!

Very small. Geared towards local Spanish speakers. Thank goodness for Google translator because the menu is mostly Spanish as well. We were there a bit early for dinner, so I'm betting food would have come a bit faster once the kitchen got up to speed. The food LOOKED wonderful. Portions a bit small. Service, as I said, slow, but very friendly. I was, however disappointed when the waitress cleaned all the tables with a strong-smelling cleaner just before our food was delivered.

Be prepared, nobody in there speaks proper english. The two people there were more interested in being on their phone then dealing with a customer. I was charged more for a sandwich then was priced on the menu and even the cup of dipping sauce was literally empty, as you can see in the picture. The flavor of the cuban sandwich was actually good and it's a shame that the atmosphere, the service and the personnel ruined the experience. I will never go back.

Authentic Columbian food. Tried this today on the recommendation of a friend. The Empanadas are amazing. Then tried Arepa Montanera, I spelled this wrong, it was an Arepa with lots of homemade cheese and pork. Amazing. Richard, Isabella and Jacob were very warm and welcoming. This place is a gem hidden on US- 19 in Palm Harbor, food is delicious, we had Bandeja Montañera and Sancocho de Res, the owner is super friendly and you feel like you are home. Don't think twice if you are craving authentic Colombian food go and support el Rincon Montanero.

Very good atmosphere, very good music and the chef came out and sing Dominican bachata when he knew we were Dominicans.

I ordered cafe con leche and it was delicious. It smelled great in there and I’ll be back to try the food soon.

The empanadas were delicious and the arepas with in-house made cheese were fabulous. The owner suggested taking a bite of the cheese with the sweet plantains we ordered and I saw heaven! I'll be going back often!
