We went there on vacation, recommended by our resort liaison and they did not disappoint. The service was wonderful, the restaurant was clean, our waiter was descriptive, the food was impeccable. We had appetizers, meals & 2 desserts and left with lots of leftovers. We will be returning next time we vacation there. Correction: to the restaurant, thank you for responding honestly. You are absolutely correct, that was meant for a similar Italian restaurant we went to while in Orlando. However, we did go to your restaurant on 8/29 on the day we returned with friends. Your restaurant is amazing. The waitress was incredibly descriptive and on top of things. She knew that menu inside out & backwards. Our drink glasses were always full. We had the artichoke cheesy dip appetizer which I could eat as a meal, my mouth salivates thinking of it. I got an incredibly delicious chicken & pasta dish, both men at our table got the pasta dish with spicy sausage and left their dishes looking like they licked them clean. They both used the homemade bread to sop up the leftover sauce. Our friends wife had a fish piccata over linguini and loved it. We had a chocolatey dessert that we basically fought over. They had a lemony one if I remember correctly, I was overly focused on my dessert. My only regret is that I didn’t take pictures and that I confused the two places but both were delicious and both deserved glowing reviews. We live locally and will definitely be returning. Sorry for the confusion, my brain must have still been on vacation.

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant! Everything about it makes you feel like family. From the second that you walk in, you are greeted with a smile. Everyone is so friendly and the food is so flavorful. Even the other patrons in there were kind; we all sang happy birthday to a gentleman after we heard it was his birthday, others talked to us about our 3.5month old son who was with us, too. They are big supporters of police & the military which meant a lot. We can’t wait to come back! The atmosphere is so cozy, the food was fresh and beautiful… make your reservation & you won’t regret it.

I can’t believe it took us so long to find this place. A good review on Nextdoor made me wonder, where is this, why have I not heard of it? We’ve lived in the Cape for 12 years and have not been here. Well so glad we did! The food was so good and plentiful. Where else can you get a salad that comes with the dinner? Family owned and operated for 31 years. Mirella our server also a family member and so friendly. Will definitely be back!

Delicious food and desserts! All prepared on site so special orders aren't an issue. I had the salmon special. It was delicious. All meals come with salad and hot fresh bread. Yumm

Ristorante Fabio has a lovely atmosphere. The bread was warm and crusty, calamari was tasty and was also a decent portion. Our waitress, Mirella, was friendly and engaging. The rigatoni arrabbiati with sausage was delicious. The sausage pieces were a bit big, but ok. The marinara sauce was perfect. The lasagna was also good - very cheesy. We finished with a piece of chocolate cake. So good. It's a beautiful family-run restaurant with family recipes. I would recommend it highly!

What a genuinely kind, wonderful group of people that devote their talents and energy to making people happy inside and out. Tonight I was very hungry and, not wanting to eat alone, I opted for ordering take out. Even though they were technically “closed”, I was made a perfect meal and given a nice hug for the road. I just can’t thank them enough for helping me out.

Maybe its just not good for To-Go orders. I was sadly disappointed. Manicotti was cold , yet tasted burned. Server raved about the "fresh bread" my order did not contain any of the bread. The salad consisted of premixed greens, nothing else. The $10 "side" of meatballs tasted ok and was hot. $50.00 later, I regret my choice of dining venue.

We can’t say enough about our wonderful experience…started with the artichoke dip, salad with homemade dressing was delish. For dinner we had the pork cutlet and chicken Marsala which was delicious. We give them a 10+ on every level. Looking forward to our next visit.

I wish I could put more stars for service. The food speaks for itself amazing. But the staff slash family is amazing. Hands down now, my favorite Italian restaurant

A special Sunday dinner with good friends. Our waitress, April, was entertaining as she described the different dishes. I told my friends, the only rule was we each tried something different!! 3 of us had veal ~ 3 different ways ~ all delicious!!! We were able to finish our meals in the 2 hour table allotment!!

Our Easter here at Fabio’s was perfect! Jaclyn was above and beyond explaining the dishes and tastes for each item. We had an incredible meal here with this amazing family from the drinks to the bread to the salad to the amazing dinner and the delicious finale, dessert!!! One of the best places to eat in Fort myers ! The service in the truly the best. The food is unbelievable! Make your reservations and you will not be disappointed.

I was at the restaurant on March 15th to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was such a disappointment. The escargot came in a lump mixed with mushrooms and garlic. The salmon was okay but the pasta was wet from the spinach. Needless to say, that will be my last visit.

Veal parm was tender and delicious! Excellent service with a welcoming atmosphere. Food is fresh and has a gourmet flare.

We've been wanting to go visit this establishment for some time now and finally made it. What a great Italian restaurant, family owned and the service was also spectacular. Our server Mirella was courteous and professional, she's also part of the family of this place. We had the Scampi Edmondo and the Basa Francese, they were both excellent. Thanks to the chef Viviana Vena who is the owner also. She makes sure every dish is prepared correctly and delicious. Also to our server's mother Tina who's idea was for the Scampi Edmondo dish and her choice with the dessert Tiramisu, which was light and refreshing. We will be back again soon with the help of Jaclyn who is also part of the family. She will let you know about any special events or dishes they will be serving. Please let me know if I misspelled anyone's name. March 2nd 2024; We visited again to our favorite restaurant, and wanted to give thanks for serving such a marvelous meal. We had some friends of ours visiting from out of town and told them about this fantastic establishment. After our great service and having the awesome meals, our friends were so happy and thankful that I suggested Ristorante Fabio. They also said that they would return again and again.

What a great little find. Great experience food was excellent and the waitstaff especially April. Awesome from walking in the door to leaving the staff made sure you felt like you were the only table in the restaurant. Look forward to going back and trying more of their dishes. First time there. Definitely not the last.

It was the best Italian restaurant I have been in. It is owned and operated by 4 generations of one family. The service was perfect. Our waitress described the mashroom soup in such a way that I almost started drooling :) Needless to say, I ordered right away, and it was perfect.

What a fabulous find! Everything is homemade and delicious. Our server, April, was very happy to be there and serve us. The homemade split pea soup was excellent and the Veal Fabio was excellent.

First time dinning here, their where 6 of us and not one complaint. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, it was all amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. The time between appetizers, salad and dinner was perfect no rushing at all we where able to digest each course and enjoy everything about our dinning experience . We will be regulars.❤️

Am torn between a 3-4 on the food. It's good, and it's homemade, but it's just "okay". Personally, after having visited recently on two occasions, its just not packed full of flavor. It looks nice. The portions are nice. But it's certainly not as outstanding as you read in some of the other reviews. Service and atmosphere are fantastic.

By far one of the best Italian restaurants in the Fort Myers area. Coming from NY, I had a genuine appreciation for the atmosphere and hospitality of this family run business. The sauce was amazing! The shopping center that holds this gem can be deterring but don't be. Although the location is on the smaller side and might want to make reservations. But the service and food is well worth it. House Cabernet Sauvignon is a solid value. Waitress was very informative with the menu and food sensitivity knowledge. For an appetizer had a charcuterie tray. Very delicious and assortment was pleasant. For dinner, had the bill marsala and was very pleased with the presentation and taste.

My wife and I went To the restaurant about a week And wanted to share a dinner because we don't eat that much anymore. The waiter said. That that would be fine but they would charge a seven dollars for sharing a plate. I thought that was a rip off so we got two meals instead and we'll not go back there.

My experience with Ristorante Fabio and the family was nothing short of amazing from the delicious authentic Italian food to the absolutely amazing service given by the hard workers on the floor. This restaurant is a place to feel welcomed and loved. Every dish is amazing and you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and the service is nothing but the best with a family focused group of people running the show ,working here was an absolute pleasure. I honestly cannot recommend a better place to sit down and have a good meal.

What a wonderful evening! The food, the family, the ambience - everything was perfect! I only regret that we will be flying back to Wisconsin, so it will be another year before we can come back again. I would definitely recommend Fabio’s to anyone who is looking for an authentic Italian meal. Jaclyn was a true delight and took great care of us. Paul was a treat. Vivana prepared amazing meals for all four of us. Oh - and the desserts! Definitely coming back.

We have found our new restaurant a total 5 stars. The food, staff and the service were absolutely amazing!!! Everything from the time we entered the restaurant till we left was perfect. After taking our beverage order fresh hot baked bread and ice cold water was served. Our appetizer was the calamari followed by the house salad and the restaurants homemade dressing. The timing of the courses was perfect after relaxing the dinners were brought which we had the Gamberi Francese and the Vitello Francese. WOW the food was perfectly prepared when I say that it was amazing it was. The flavors were right on target and perfect amount for portions. During our dining experience we had the pleasure to meet the Christina, Jaclyn and Paul. They made this dining experience so perfect. We wished we had saved room for dessert that will be for next time which there will be many!!! Thank you John & Peter

my boyfriend and i went on our first date there a year ago and it was great! we decided to come back for Valentine’s Day and we’re happy to see they kept up their reputation. Given that they are not typically open on a tuesday and it was Valentine’s Day, staff was doing a great job managing and making people feel at home. great family owned/operated restaurant!

I was a regular customer at Fabio's, but now Fabio is a plan "C" or even a "plan D" for me and guests. Why? Well, the food is fantastic. The wine selection is improving. The service is fantastic. So what's my problem? The renovation. To be honest it's not good. Fabio used to have a cozy, intimate, family type feel to it. That alone made everything else that much better. It was dark, but not to dark. It was close quarters with other tables, but far enough away and dark enough to be plenty distant. It was real. It was human. Now...it feels like you're in the waiting room of a doctors office. The lights are so bright you can see every mole, freckle, and line on the customer 30 feet away. It's not good. I wish Fabio would have just kept it the way that it was. If something isn't broke, don't fix it.... But the ambiance is killer. So I'll drive an extra 15-20 minutes to other haunts that have just as good if not better food and service, and excellence ambiance. If I'm out of options, I'll go to Fabio. It makes me grimace even making this review. But hey...if it's not working, it's not working.

I came down from north Jersey 20 years ago. I did not find an Italian restaurant that compared to the places back home until I walked into Fabios. Viviana Is the best chef in swfl hands down and there waitstaff is incredible especially Jackie.I am so grateful to find this place I am blessed.

As an Italian who moved away from home and doesn’t have home cooked Italian meals anymore and can never find good Italian food in florida, I am BLOWN away. Amazing service. The food was unbelievable.

Average food in my opinion. The lasagna and chicken marsala were ok but nothing to get excited about. Bread was very good but dip had too much garlic. I’m guessing the New York crowd keeps this place afloat. The two daughters do a great job waitressing.

Hands down this is the best Italian restaurant we have been in, in years. We walked in early evening and were lucky to get a table. They take reservations and it is highly recommended. They had nice specials and the pot roast was amazing. I cannot remember the last time I had 'melt in you mouth' beef like that. This place is well known by the locals and is in a strip mall where you wouldn't expect a lot, but take my word for it, it is excellent. With hors d'oeuvres, meal and wine it can be a little pricey, but it is well worth it. Go and enjoy.

This place was amazing. The food is literally to die for. This was the best Italian food I have ever eaten. It tastes like nothing you have ever had before. Most things seem homemade and the flavor is unbelievable. I can't say enough about this restaurant. It's a must!!!

It was my birthday. From start to finish food and service was exceptional. This reminds me of small restaurants in south Philadelphia. No detail is overlooked. The food is prepaired with dedication and love. Please enjoy this wonderful restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

wife made reservation for 7 pm. we were seated promptly. the maitre d requeted that i remove my hat. ok supposed to be upscale resturant. wife ordered lasagna and i ordered veal parmsean. wife ordered the dipping sauce to go with the bread (3.95) which consisted of a little cup of olive oil minced garlic and oregano. the waitress asked if we liked to salad dressing cause she made it. the salad was bland and had a half of a cherry tomato. dinner arrived there was very little cheese on the veal, the sauce was plan and acidity. it came with a side of pasta. the sauce was a little sweeter. the wife said that her lasagna was very bland. mean while the maitre d is telling the table next to us a joke about a farmer kicking someone in the testicles. was never offered cheese for meal or salad yet big poster for parmesno - reggiano chesse hanging on the wall. once was enough

Fabio's is a relatively small restaurant specializing in Italian food. The service was excellent and management was friendly and you could feel that they wanted you to enjoy the meal. It's possible if I had a different meal I might have rated this restaurant very highly. However, the veal marsala was disappointing The marsala sauce had very little flavor. The veal itself was fine but without the proper flavor it was a disappointing meal.

Let me tell ya, the food and hospitality is above excellent! Make sure you make a reservation, it fills up quick.

Absolutely the best food I have had in Cape Coral. The service was amazing! We tried the beef short ribs special, fettuccine Alfredo and sea scallop all were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The homemade fettuccini noodles were the best I have ever had including the fettuccine I have consumed while dining In Italy. The Dinner salad with homemade dressing was to die for as well as the light delicate and flavorful limoncello cake.

Wow! This was our first time dining here and it was delicious! My husband had the seafood bisque which was ok, I had the house salad with the creamy Italian dressing which was yummy. For main entrees I had the manicotti and it was really really good (coming from a 100% Italian woman who makes these homemade) and my husband had the chicken parmesan which was also delicious. We ended the meal with their 5 layer chocolate cake and the homemade tiramisu. This was amazing, loved their version which is probably better than the traditional one. Paul & Jackyln were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely take the ride out again.

The best dining experience I have ever had food was 10/10 service was amazing. Everyday tasted as if it was made in house with love. Staff is very kind and very knowledgeable about their menu, gave great recommendations. I have not been able to stop talking about this restaurant. Will be back many more times.

Great authentic Italian. Jaclyn was a Rockstar at going over dishes. The homemade dressing was so good. I had the ravioli and the sauce had so much flavor. The chicken cardinale has a rich unique flavor. Very good food.

Restaurante Fabio has become our favorite, somewhat local, restaurant. My wife and I have been visiting restaurants in the area for 18 years, and while our favorite places to eat does change occasionally, we do not see this status changing any time soon, if ever. No need to go into details as the 5 star rating pretty much says it all. Highlights: a) an entire staff that has a detailed understanding of the menu and makes the dining experience pure fun, b) consistently outstanding food, served hot as the dishes are prepared a table at a time, c) reasonable prices, d) clean, e) they take reservations, which we suggest, f) forgetting the surroundings of the strip mall entrance - once inside you could be at your favorite restaurant in Italy. In summary: Outstanding.

Where to begin. It is a Friday, and it is slow. The service SUCKS. How this place has any rating above 1 is amazing. You can’t have bread until they take the menu, that is funny and ridiculous, like your a small child. Food was totally underwhelming. Trust me go to CENO Grill, Carrabas, anywhere but here

I have to say that I was extremely disappointed in my visit. I have read many good reviews and when I decided to take my daughter out for a nice dinner this was my first thought. I made a reservation for 7pm. When I arrived, it took a few minutes to be acknowledged at the door. Once I was, we were seated at our table with menus. Again, we were not greeted by anyone else, and it took at least 10 minutes for a waitress to say she would be right with us. I believe that the restaurant is run with a team of wait staff not one single wait person, as we were waited on by atleast 4 people, very strange. We ordered the brochette which was extremely soggy and unappealing. I just couldn't eat it. I ordered the chicken marsala, which came with approximately 6 mushrooms and a very watery brown sauce. Again, very unappealing. My daughter ordered Chicken Monte Falco which was also a disappointment. No flavor or seasoning noted. We didn't stay for any dessert or coffee. For a place that is not "inexpensive", I expected certainly better service, and definitely better tasting food. Maybe it was just an off night, but I don't think I'd go back.
