We’ve gotten takeout many times from Rocco‘s. It’s outstanding Italian food.

We LOVED Rocco's when living in Portsmouth RI. Their Tuscan pizza is by far my favorite pizza in the world. Their garlic knots are to die for. Nowadays , when we find ourselves driving through Aquidneck Island we make it a point to stop and grab some garlic knots or grab dinner there. Lovely family business, great food, reasonable prices, and helpful staff.

If I could leave more stars I would, I will call it a 5+. I grew up in a part of Pennsylvania where your local neighborhood pizzeria was a major part of your life and family. Friday nights, birthday parties, etc. This is THAT place. Amazing pizza, amazing people. I fell in love with the place while living in Portsmouth while displaced after a fire. I still pick a pizza up once a week on my trek back to Tiverton. Pizzas are customizable in the online app, everything they make is outstanding!

We went to Sandy Point Beach, totally unprepared for food. Not wanting to leave, we looked up pizza delivery and this was not only the closest, but highest rated. We went with that. Delivery driver was awesome, met us in the parking lot. Ordered a large pepperoni pie, an Italian grinder, garlic knots, and waters. $45ish for all of that, and everything was great. Knots had a ton of cheese and butter, with great marinara to dip in. The pizza, crust, cheese, toppings, so good. My wife loved her grinder. Cannot beat the food, service, and price.

Got a buffalo chicken wrap- which states fried chicken on the discription . It was grilled, & it was the chewy squishy kind of grilled, disappointed . I hate that kind of texture and also do not state something in the description if it’s not accurate. Also the entire wrap was soggy and not even cut down the middle properly.

Love the pizza, the meat lovers is one of the best. 🤗🤗

Got this pizza before a polo match and it was seriously some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. The florentine pizza was one of our favorites.

Ordered Baked Ziti & Extra meatballs + ravioli. Received Penne Vodka instead. Could be an honest mistake I understand but the order took 1hr and 10 minutes to come out. And it was sitting in the back the whole time anyway. I understand it’s a family owned business, and mistakes happen but this is the first time I actually completely regret spending my money on food that I didn’t order and couldn’t even eat after waiting over an hour. Also never even received the meatballs

the experience was very bad because they sold me old day old pizza and reheated it again and passed it off as pizza made the day before Unfortunately, I felt sick with a lot of heartburn all day, I couldn't work, I had to return home

This place is awesome. The people that work there are great and the atmosphere is nice. But I live out of town and when I try to call and order within the listed times it states they are open, often I cannot get through. I once drove there and it was actually closed. I think the hrs of operation need to be updated. It’s so disappointing when you try to call and you don’t really know when they are open.

I ordered two large pizza. It’s incredibly delicious. I want to say this is the one of the best pizza I ever had.

I have been going here with my family for years. We love their stuffed pizza. Ordering on the phone was very easy and the employees inside were very kind upon picking up.

Stopped for a quick lunch with my parents. The penne ala vodka is unbelievable. My dad's sausage and peppers with spaghetti looked wonderful and my mom's eggplant parm was so cheesy. The portions are huge. Great food, great employees, great everything!

The food here is amazing! The pizzas were delicious, but my favorite were the garlic knots! I could eat them for every meal

Old place. Pizza too oily and tasted like Campbell's soup.

Tried Rocco's for the first time. Went with a small meat lovers minus the meatball. Good amount of toppings. Decent overall taste. Some grease to be expected from the meat toppings. Sauce is okay. Crust had some crunch and was okay. Pizza had some flop. Good local option. Ran the numbers on my scoring system and the pizza gets a Google 3 (its okay), 6.3 out of ten on the scale.

Wow! Outstanding. The pizza was delicious (try the lasagna pizza - that ricotta cheese is the perfect touch), as was the spaghetti and meatballs. But most significant of all was the service. We were traveling so we wanted to dine in. Although a take-out pizza shop they were happy to accommodate us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of from ordering to departing. The take-out traffic was constant but every customer was greeted and received a thank you upon leaving. The owner and staff were all personable and kind. We made a great decision to try this mom & pop pizza shop!!

Ordered previously and wasn’t impressed. Figured I’d give them another chance. Called in for pickup, got there, and the kid who waited on me couldn’t find my order in their system. Asked me to hang on, and never came back! Next guy came out and couldn’t give me an answer. Proceeded to wait on the people in line after me. THIRD came out and I said I was leaving because no one could find my order. He suggested maybe I’d called the wrong restaurant (I hadn’t). No apology. Offered to make my food while I waited….I passed.

Average Food, nothing special. They need to work on the basics. Sauce Cheese Doug, put a topping on the pie. How much parm on a Caesar Salad. Did we make the garlic knots correctly. Crawl, walk then run. The over the top menu with crazy pizzas, When a single topping is not done correctly.

Both pizzas were overcooked, but they still tasted very good. I bet they would have been worth 5 stars had they been cooked a few minutes less.

The vodka pizza is out of this world! Must try!

Still the best pizza on the island. Last time we were here was about 2 years ago. Since then they stopped table service, so it's all order at the register and they bring the food to you on disposable plates and plastic ware, but like I said the food is still amazing. We had 2 small salads and a small half veggie half meat pizza. The place seats about 24 people inside, and 8 outside. It is away from the newport touristic area making it a very nice hole in the wall local favorite. I would come here everytime I visit. Lastly, don't get this place confused with the other Roccos. Used to be different owners and this one is much better. If you like my review please leave a thumbs up.

all the stars for Rocco's! Their dough is just fresh and phenomenal, you just know it! Especially when my selective two year old always, I mean, always wants more! certainly a favorite @ our house!

Great pizza. The only sin they committed is using Marina sauce on buffalo chicken pizza. Would recommend anything but that.

I don’t normally comment but this pizza was amazingly delicious and the price was incredible. I had never been to Rhode Island before and I found this place on the internet. I will be back later this year for another event and will definitely visit them again. Everyone was so nice and welcoming but my family really enjoyed the pizza. Thank you

I moved to RI from Brooklyn and before moving to Portsmouth I lived in East Providence. This is by far the best pizza I've found since moving to RI. The crust is fantastic. Delivery is always on time and they've always been great when delivering and taking my order over the phone. You won't regret ordering from here, I guarantee it.

Delicious freshly made pizza. Great flavors. Especially BBQ chicken pizza. Great service. While waiting for my pizza to be ready, an old man came in looking for his take out order. He was confused and had a hard time remembering what his order was. The cashier waiting on him had amazing patience and kindness. Really so wonderful to see !!

The pizzas seem to be the real deal there, I had a chicken wrap… not very memorable… it took TOO LONG to arrive too :(

Food is great! The people are great! Before the pandemic, this place was hopping.! It was a very popular little Italian restaurant. They went to take out only during the shutdown. Now, it's still take out only but they have a couple of tables inside and outside. There's a cooler with soft drinks, soda ,beer and wine. They will serve it to you too!!

Rocco’s is hands down our favorite place to eat on Aquidneck Island. The food is awesome and the service is excellent. Every time we visit, we make sure to hit Rocco’s. The garlic knots are to die for with marinara sauce. Special thanks to the owner for catching us when our son left his Iphone on the table.

The Pizza here is fantastic. Authentic Italian pizzeria vibe. The ingredients were fresh and top-notch. I had a specialty slice that was made with a heartier crust that was soft and crispy. My other slice was a regular cheese slice with Rocco's normal soft crust that was quite good too. You can’t go wrong, Both pizzas were fresh and delicious. Don’t pass up Rocco’s Little Italy, it worth the stop.

I stop in here for lunch when im in the area for work. There pizza Is excellent especially the margarita pizza is one of the best iv ever had, they also do slices of a few different pizzas at lunch time, not sure if it's a whole day thing or just lunch time though. Staff if very friendly. And they have a good size parking lot that I can fit my work truck in which is a hugh bonus because that's a real issue for me alot of times and will be a deciding factor as to if I'm gonna eat somewhere or not. Gonna try something other than pizza next time I stop in..

This place is the real deal. Just bought three pizzas four orders of wings and an antipasto salad. Food was phenomenal they took pride and making the salad and make it looking so presentable. You don’t see this anymore.. gray job guys!!!

We ordered a very large, very last minute order for a staff party (80 people) and couldn't be more pleased with everything from the quality of the food, the above and beyond customer service, pricing... everything was DELIVERED hot and fresh. Thank you to the exceptional staff!

Absolutely fantastic pizza. My wife and I consistently get the lasagna pizza and it never disappoints. We’ve tried a hand full of their appetizers but they’re just average. Several times, we’ve tried other pizza places but they just aren’t good - even if they are more convenient. We make the drive from downtown Newport about twice a month. Worth it. Also, the pizza is even more bangin’ the next day when you heat it back up.

The best pizza in town. A staple on Aquidneck Island for many years. Very consistent. A great pizza pie!

Delivery was quicker than said on site and the driver was friendly. Ordered the Sun dried tomato pizza with spinach and caramelized onions and it's likely the best pizza one has ever had. Won't be ordering Italian-style anywhere else for a while.

Moved to Portsmouth this summer. Tried three other local places with soggy crusts. Is that even pizza? Very very good crust and lots of delicious combos. Try the Tuscan…crispy!

Everything was bomb. Large chunks of raw garlic on the garlic kinda bummed me out. Thought a compound butter would've worked better. Uniform cuts on herbs go a long way also.

Their 🍕 is awesome.. including the salads, etc yum yum yummy 😋

great pizza with a fantastic crust. Same dough I think for the strombolis and calzones with great fillings and toppings. This place is the real deal. Prices here are much lower than I thought they would be. If you get a pizza to go order some of the knots to go home as well. The are not open on Sundays but I guess everyone needs a day off. So here we have a Gem in a not Italian area and the food is great as well. Order off the menu of some of the food items. Clean and a great staff. Good parking as well.

Eat here all the time food is good on some days and some days it's horrible but love their garlic knots when they are not hard as a rock

Absolutely the best pizza I’ve eaten. The owner was working the counter and so passionate about explaining the slice choices to us, explaining the type of pizza, how it’s made, etc... We were working in Portsmouth and decided to just keep driving until we found a food place that was open before 4:00. So glad we ended up there! Will definitely be back.

Rocco's is a wonderful little hole-in-the-wall Italian place. Be forewarned: it's small. But that's half the charm! You really feel like you're in a red checkered table cloth Italian place of old. (Also, it's kind of fun to listen in to the teenager gossip from some of the employees working at the front.) Nowadays, I largely order delivery from Rocco's. The order takes a little longer than some of the other options on Aquidneck, but it's because they're preparing quality food. I just look at their little side salad that comes with entrees. It's not just a wilted bit of lettuce and a pale tomato. No, it's well thought-through, including olives and peppers and banana peppers and a glorious house Italian dressing. You need to try the garlic knots. They are delicious. I will go/order from Rocco's specifically for the knots. Some other favorites include: Lasagna, ravioli, veal parm, sausage and peppers and their zeppolis. I haven't listed the pizza because I always end up being seduced by their Italian entrees and forgetting to order it, but I've heard wonderful things, particularly about their stuffed pizza.
