Wednesday night they have BINGO. It was a lot of fun!!

Bartender and security were delightful to talk with! New ownership! A lot of changes in scenery coming that they are working on! Definitely will be coming back! Plus the pool tables and sticks are taken care of!

When I got in the door, the first thing they do is demand ID like cops, then tell you it's 5 dollars to get in when there are about 3 people in the place. This place in my opinion is not worth it.

So so service. So 10/29/21 showed up to see a live band. Waited till 9pm. They refunded cover charge because band did not want to show up. This has happened a lot since the new owner took over I was told. Also where is Tony the bartender on a Friday night? She hold this place together.

Place to kill an hour with real people.

I love this club everybody is so nice everybody is always just chilled and laid back and has a great time and that's exactly what I go out for no drama and Noble bullcrap I just want to dance and have a good time and I don't ever have no problems at Rodeo Rock and I love the music and the people that work there so therefore that's my club

Great place to catch some live music when they have shows, extremely slow bar staff.

Pretty cool place. First time there and the support of local music is pretty awesome. Pool tables aren't falling apart which is nice.

Good place to go chill sometimes they have bands I believe open mic is on Wednesdays this happened to be one of the members from the Tates playing there. Be sure to catch Tanya during the day and Tony at the night. This is Shelby and Gabriel

I had a total and complete blast of a time last night! 2 drum sets on an open mic is unheard of just about anywhere, but we had 2 last night and OMG! Playing Allman Brothers "Jessica" with Matt, my brother drummer was completely off the chain! My most heartfelt thanks to Tyler Livingston! Being on ANY stage with you is an honor and a privilege young shredder! My most sincere and humble thanks to Chicken for bringing his kit, and for being an outstanding host...every Wednesday...without fail...you are a consumate pro my friend and you bring honor to the stage! I Couldnt ask for a better night for my last in Florida. Im moving back to Houston to take care of some family and legal matters, but shall return in the fall ready to jam hard! Thank you Rodeo Rock! Thank you Chicken! Thank you Pensacola.....Thank you very, kindly for memories most only dream of experiencing. THANK YOU ALL...VERY, VERY KINDLY INDEED!!!

Chill Atmosphere . Alot of local patrons. Great Bartender. Also in close proximity to many other Bars and Restraunts. Incase you rather explore more options as the night progresses.

Country rock bar brings top notch bands from all over the country just a small cover charge and good drink specials

Not a bad little bar. Would have never went but some friends were playing a show there. Pa system Isn't too big but since its maybe a 200 person bar tops it shouldn't be too bad. As someone who's in a bunch of bands i personally wouldn't play a show with anything under a 4x12 and bypass the PA for other members in a band, however with a small crowd you could hear most everything with their pa and 2x12 guitars and everyone being ran through the same speakers. Drink specials were reasonable and got quite a bit with well drinks

Melissa makes a beautiful tequila sunrise. People are all ages and friendly. Huge place plenty of seating with live music. 2 pool tables. Great lighting.

Ultra Violet was wonderful, but the place is always empty. And they don't take credit cards. So you cannot run a tab like everywhere else.

Atmosphere is ok drinks are good and reasonably priced....bar tenders are friendly

Went to watch Civilized Natives, haven’t been to this bar In years. We had a really nice time. And the band was amazing as usual :)

Karaoke night was a bust. 3 other patrons there besides me, karaoke never started when I finally left 20 minutes after it was supposed to start.

Went to watch civilized natives there. Very nice and laid-back atmosphere.

Large bar with live bands on weekends with NO COVER CHARGE! Really good drink prices too, and two of the three bartenders we've dealt with were absolutely awesome and very friendly and welcoming.

Smoking is allowed. We smelled like ash trays the next day when we awakened. The band was good. I only saw Baby Boomers there. It's not terrible, it's the smoking inside. Make a deck for those who want to smoke. Everyone was friendly there and we danced some but the smoking inside smell is terrible. Unfortunately, the smoking inside is driving people like me away who spend money tipping good.

Looks a lot nicer than when I used to be called Gene's. it's still pretty much the same old bar just geared for a different crowd.they seem to have a lot of live music which is interesting. seems like they need to work on being a little more happening maybe do some more drink specials or something it was a little slow and I went. Could be better could be worse pretty middle of the line dive bar.

COASTAL FIRE WAS AMAZING AS always. Great venue well kept and bartenders were absolutely on point. DEFINITELY visit I will again for sure.

Ok place, I believe they water down their drinks. I drank 5 specialty cocktails that have lots of liquor in them.was I should have been wasted. Was barely buzzed. Order beer, shots or wine.

The place is cash only and they allow smoking which is a downside for me as I don't smoke. The live bands are great the people are really nice there. If it wasn't for the fact that it was cash only and the smoking I would have had given it a 5 star

I ENJOYED THE PEOPLE THERE. NICE ATMOSPHERE. I LOVE THE MUSIC ESPECIALLY. I ENJOYED WATCHING STEPANIE LEIGH HALL, AND THE OTHER BANDS. THE BARTENDERS ARE VERY CURTIOUS AND THE WAITRESS MISS TERESA IS A WONDERFUL WAITRESS. SHE'S FAST, AND ACCURATE.

Needs more advertising to get people interested.

Still on the fence about this relaunch. The Name hasn't done it justice yet. Still waiting on the ROCK side of it to kick in.

Getting some good bands,good music/jams,they try 2 get everyone up on stage-staff courteous-some friends didn't like smoking allowed.

Aside from the smoking, the band "Crossfire" is very diverse and extremely talented. It's a "cash only" establishment with an ATM on the premises Nice sized dance floor.

I would have given this place more stars but the crowd is always dead. This place needs massive advertising it's been redone and looks great but it's been dead the times I have been there. I also hate that they don't accept cards and you have to use an atm which means for every transaction the atm dealer and the bar get a percent of the 3.00 charge. the staff is great and deserves more customers to make more tips.

after not going out to any bars for years my husband and I went to a bar for the first time together we went to the rodeo rock it was very quiet for the first hour that we were there and then a live band came in which was great they played awesome music. different types of music for all different types of people and we played pool no one messed with us it was really a cool place my new Friend Jennifer that I met there at that place is really awesome she was a really good bartender, very nice!!! :)

Great place to grab a drink. The staff is friendly and quick. It’s very clean, spacious & even though it welcomes smokers, it’s well ventilated so you aren’t choked out. I will definitely be back!

The bar itself is very nice. A great selection of alcohol. My biggest complaints are that it's a "cash only" bar(even though there are $0 fee ATMs in the building). My second complaint is the DJ. It is advertised as a country bar, but yet when I was there, all I heard was grunge rock and stripper music. I wrote 7 songs on a napkin and gave it to the DJ along with $3. I sat there for 3 hours and didn't hear 1 of my songs. I had never gone to "Genes lounge" before, but never heard a good word about it. But from what I experienced tonight, it's headed in the same direction as Genes. I was looking forward to going to a "country" bar on my end of town, but after tonight, I probably won't be back because I heard maybe 3 old(more than 10 years old) country songs. And the fact that I requested some "new" country songs along with a cash tip to the DJ and he didn't play one of my songs, makes me not want to go back. I want to go to a bar that accommodates my needs & wants, not their own.
