Great boardwalk pizza. Stopped in to eat while a quick rain storm passed by. Staff was wonderful. I was alone with my 2 young daughters and staff was super accommodating and understanding with the little ones constantly asking them questions and trying to talk to them. They especially loved Laura. They have been asking to go back to visit her since. Won't go anywhere else now. Instant favorite!

We had two regular slices and two gluten free pies. We dont have celiac though. They warned us about shared oven. So if you can tolerate, the gf pies were awesome! Had a tomato pie with chicken then the hot n honey pepperoni was slammin'! We'll be back. *Edited: We went back for the same pies because they were so good! The owner was very kind and genuine and this exactly the type of establishment we want to spend our money at. Thank you for great food and experience!

Ordered the Mac and cheese it was disgusting sent it back and they refused to take it off the bill after accepting that we said bad customer service the owner started attacking my wife verbally. Bad service and bad food go somewhere else I asked the owner was it called for what he did he said probably not No one was rude to you or your miserable servers way over priced and lying dirt bags this only confirms what I’ve said in this review my wife only said that you had bad customer service when you refused to take off the cost and started to attack us . One day you’ll meet God and he will deal with you I just read your response wow ! What a nice place for people to do business with , after you started yelling at my family I got upset and said I’m about to leave and not pay at all and you said go ahead I’ll call the police . All of this for two slices of pizza a small bowl of Mac and cheese and a salad almost 50.00 what a joke. I wonder how much income you claim with the i.r.s maybe they need a call . This is by far the best pizza you're gonna find on the boardwalk! We loved it so much we grabbed a pie to take home with us before leaving OCNJ. The food and service is a 10/10. Highly recommended! 🍕 🏆

I really like this pizza, I think it is tastier than another boardwalk staple which rhythms with “panko”… The big plus with Roma is that there is never a wait for takeaway.👍

🙂 For NJ shore pizza it's probably the best around. It has an old school flavor about it which I enjoyed and a thin crust. On my pizza scale a 6 out of 10. Would eat again.

Hands down BEST pizza on the boardwalk!

Visited our family in Jersey for the summer have to say this was the best experience on the shore I’ve had. The staff and owner are so wonderful, they gave us two free slices to try and chatted the whole time. We came back three times over the trip just to grab a slice. Thin crispy and delicious. 10/10 recommend to anyone who’s coming down to the boardwalk this is the best pizza you can buy

Tried this on our trip to OC and the pizza is outstanding. This will be our pizza place every time we're down here, only wish we had found it sooner. Huge delicious NY style thin crust pie.

The pizza was so good that we ate there two nights in a row! The gluten free pizza was very good and had great flavor - the owner was even kind enough to show us which brand crust he uses. The regular pizza slices were huge and delicious! Everyone working was very friendly both nights. Highly recommend!

We were very impressed with both the pizza and the service. The owner was very polite and personable. My cauliflower crust pizza was excellent and the sauce was amazing. My fiancé had two slices of regular pizza and they were HUGE and he really enjoyed them too. The prices were also very reasonable especially for the size of the slices. We are glad we stopped in and will be back!

By far the best pizza in OCNJ. The owner hand makes every single pizza and has been doing it since he worked there as a teenager. The result is a consistently amazing pie or slice. Huge NY style slices, thin, crisp crust with just the right amount of chew, delicious sauce (I usually ask for extra because it's so good), and fresh toppings. Awesome staff to top it all off. A must try in OC.

I came to order and pick up a pizza during a Sunday football game. The process was easy and the staff was kind. I ordered a whole pizza with spinach and sausage. The pizza was very good. They also gave me a slice of pizza that I would be nervous to order so that I could try something new, dill pickles on a pizza. I can say that it works! I like dill pickles but I would never would have thought to put them on a white pizza. Next time we go back I'll have to get a slice of that.

Manco & manco is great & its my family's go-to.....BUT I PREFER ROMA PIZZA from the crust up through the sauce, cheese & topping combos I choose ROMA It's Pie Italiano and it's near perfect!

The cheese pizza was amazing. Unfortunately, they do not sell fries but it's beyond their control so I don't think it should interfere with their reviews. Also, the young lady was really pleasant.

Had a very bad experience when I visited this place in the summer of 2022 with my wife brother in law and my three kids. I order a slice of pizza then went to get my wife and three kids. My kids didn't want pizza so they bought fries from another vendor. We walked into Roma pizza and my brother in law started to order and the store manager or owner became impatient with my brother in law because he was trying to order food that did not have pork in it(which we cannot eat because of our religion). After my brother in law ordered his food the manager/owner made an ignorant statement by saying why are we only ordering one item and sitting and eating in his establishment. This made me very angry because I bought pizza from his establishment and my brother in law also order an item. I express my anger and we argued back and forth until I told my family that we are leaving. Never felt this disrespected from a establishment before. The food and product was good but I will not take my family there again after that encounter with the manager/owner of Roma pizza.

Hands down best pizza on the boardwalk. Better pizza than Manco’s at better price. The pickle pizza is a must try (don’t laugh, it’s crazy good)!

A hidden gem on the Ocean City Boardwalk, a small, very clean, yet comfortable area that is not overly crowded. Friendly and courteous staff that checks on you to make sure everything is fine, or if you need something else. A thin crust pizza, crispy on the bottom, yet tender to the bite, with a rich flavorful zesty tomato sauce which is liberally applied for maximum flavor, lastly it is topped with a soft creamy and stringy mozzarella cheese to balance out the flavors of the final product. No puddles of grease on these pizzas, just quality full flavored ingredients for your culinary enjoyment. Kudos for a great pizza that makes our taste buds sing and dance with every bite. Our mouths were asking for more before we were finished chewing each and every bite. A very pleasant dining experience on the Ocean City Boardwalk, kudos to the staff and owners for a great experience. The owner even took the time to cut small pieces for the Grandbaby.

Best pizza on the boards from a strict food standpoint, but it doesn’t stop there. The cleanliness, the friendly service, and the remarkable owner (on site and personally making the pie) all combine for a top notch boards experience. Also - the meatballs on menu are a special treat.

If you are in the mood for pizza don’t miss this place! I had the pepperoni and sausage slice. These pies are 22 inches so one slice is huge. The crust was so crisp, and the sauce complimented the toppings. My wife had a sliced the bruschetta square pizza and said it was amazing as well. The owner makes the pizzas himself, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place, can’t wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu.

Pizza was good, bit tight in the in the back room if you have a big stroller, so eating on the boardwalk on a nice day is ideal.

There are a ton of quality pizza places in Ocean City. Roma is in the top tier. The slices are large like 3 Brothers but thin like Manco’s. So you kind of get the best of both worlds. Friendly service. I recommend Roma though I feel Prep’s is my #1 fave.

It has a Great crust, fresh cheese and plenty of tasty sauce. It’s on the North end of the Boardwalk between 6th and 7th streets.

We have eaten here many times when we have come down for a day trip or an overnight stay. . The service is really excellent & so is the staff & the food is delicious & plentiful. We even have recommended you to our friends who go to the shore every summer & even they’re impressed.

Absolutely fantastic pizza served by the friendliest staff on the boardwalk! Check out that HUGE 22” pie, it was cooked to perfection. I was so hungry I literally couldn’t wait for it to cool off (ouch, we all know what THAT’S like, so worth it though). The place is super clean and the service was FAST. We loved the smaller (more personal) family vibe. Really appreciated the grated PARMESAN cheese (sadly missing at so many pizzerias). Recommended!

Quick Take - Winner of our 4 person pizza tasting on the boardwalk. Go there to try the best pizza on the boardwalk. Details - Roma Pizza, on 6th and Boardwalk was the last stop in our four person pizza tasting tour on 8/22. We hit six places during the tour and Roma came out on top, as the best. Two judges rated it their solid number one, and two gave it their number two slot (missing their number one slot by the smallest of margins). What we all liked--the sauce! Everyone loved the sauce. It was tasty, slightly sweet, and dominated the slice in a good way. But pizza is not just the sauce...it's the sauce, cheese and crust. They need to work in unison, and at Roma, most of us thought pizza needed a bit more cheese to balance out the sauce properly. And when we say a bit, we mean a bit. And what separated the judges in their final decision was crust preference. Two of the judges liked the lightly cooked, pale crust with a slightly charred bottom, whereas two would have preferred a more well baked crust with more crunch and a deeper charred taste. The slices we received were decent sized, reheated slices (as most are on the boardwalk), and cost $3.25 each, which is a little high. On the other hand, it is a very good pizza, and they probably better ingredients than other shops. We also like that it appeared to be a small family run business. Unlike most other boardwalk pizza places, Roma is not a chain, or institutionalized operation. And the owner is proud of his operation, so proud in fact, when he realized we were on a taste testing tour he gave us piping hot fresh slices right out of the oven to compare to the previous slices we ate. Free pizza! Nothing wrong with that. As we ate the second slices, the owner told us about his operation and his procedure of throwing away pies after a couple of hours on a slow day. No old stale pizzas sitting around all day waiting for customers at Roma. So how did the fresh out-of-the-oven pizza compare to the original reheated slices? It was hotter, fresher and the cheese was more fluid and melted, but again it came down to the crust. And for most of us, we like the extra crispiness a reheat gives to a slice. So, it was better, but not remarkably better. But keep in mind, we did not judge Roma on the second slice, or take into consideration the free slices we received. It earned its high marks as the best on the boards because it is a better pizza than the rest!

Great pizza! Stopped here with my wife for a nice dinner on the boardwalk, we were very happy with the service and quality of the food. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Not much more you could ask for!

We don’t go into ocean city that often. But for the last two years, we’ve done pizza and drinks at Roma as part of the rides, minigolf, and boardwalk experience. I honestly don’t remember much about last year. It’s always fun to chat with the servers who are on foreign student work visas as well as the locals who provide stability to this family owned business. The service was great but the pizza really sucked. The shell was obviously previously prepared but on a day when a heavy volume of business is expected, this is understandable. The pizza sauce was not terrible but the bottom of the crust was almost black on most of the pizza. We were four people with a large pie and left one piece untouched. I think that says it all. Sad to slam a local business, but guys, you can do better.

This is our favorite pizza shop on the boardwalk. They have a special on whole pies, and we usually get one for dinner one night and get one for lunch on the beach at least one other day. The pizza is perfect (thin, crispy crust, good balance of sauce and cheese), and the service friendly. We always look forward to it!

The crust was the perfect combination of crunchy and chewy. The pizza itself is one of the best tasting I have ever had and it was by far one of the best prices for a pie on the boardwalk. Well worth every penny

Best pizza ever! Regular style but has crisp crust. Owner, Dino, uses high quality ingredients & pays attention to detail, even adjusting dough recipe as needed based on humidity levels! Bumped Mancos from #1 for me! Stays open weekends only in September (after Labor Day) then closes til next season.

Found this place on accident (we were looking for Angelos II). We ordered two plain pies. Service was fast and the staff very friendly! The pizza was crisp with an ok blend of sauce and cheese. The crust was a bit soft and undercooked however. Definitely a good boardwalk pizza joint! Way better than the overrated Manco & Manco pizza!

Good pizza with the yummy sauce and crispy crust that I like! I also tried a daily special pizza with arugula, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and a bit of craisins, cherry tomato, and avacado that I liked (Sicilian style).

Whenever I come to Ocean City, I never miss an opportunity to eat Roma's pizza. Again this year, they did not disappoint. My favorite thing about the pizza is that it is not greasy! I find that some other places on the boardwalk have very greasy pizza. The only negative was that our food took a long time, but we did order 3 pies and it was extremely busy at dinner time. By far my favorite pizza place on the boards!

The employees at Roma pizza were INCREDIBLE. We went there yesterday with three kids, two of them are 2 year old twins. The employees and manager were more then accommodating. The food was DELICIOUS! We ordered one of the giant pizzas and it was more then enough to feed a family of 5 with 3 extra large slices left over. (I may or may not have ate one as a midnight snack) I would recommend this pizza shop to anyone and we WILL be dining there again when we go back to the beach in a few weeks. Shout out to our waitress she was so great with the kids and engaged in conversation with them and also to who I think was the manager of the restaurant. He was very tall with dark hair that was shaved at the sides. He even boxed up our leftovers for us. You go to the beach to have fun and relax and I definitely felt catered to when we went there for lunch.
