Great restaurant. Located in an area where there are more restaurant options. Food is great. Also, need to add, place is great but having TV on some of the tables even better. Recommended.

Just moved here from New York City a few months ago and have been in dire search for some quality authentic NY food and I’m so thankful I found Rosedales! I can’t say enough about this place. From the amazing dishes to the absolutely exceptional service i was blown away. I love that it’s a family owned restaurant who are also fellow New Yorkers. Safe to say I’ve found my new favorite restaurant here in Naples!

Keep giving this place chances for years now. Ordered 3 pizzas and a few apps the other day... the mushrooms on the pizza were rotten. Anybody who cooks knows what old, slimey mushrooms smell like. The smell was so bad we pulled them all off the pizza one by one. They were black and slimey even after being cooked on top of the pizza. If you're going to charge $22 for a 12 inch pizza make sure the ingredients aren't expired or something you wouldn't serve your family. Spent over $100 on pick-up and regret it. We're locals and we're done w this place.

Liked the restaurant so much I’m going back Sunday to eat there again and try their eggplant. I give it five stars delicious food delicious atmosphere and wonderful people made me feel like I was in New York where I grew up.

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you feel at home at Rosedale! Their wonderful staff always greets you with a smile and the owners always make sure to stop at the table to see how the experience is going and what they can do better! My favorite is their margarita pizza and their calamari but don’t forget to leave room for their tiramisu and cannoli which are both delicious!

Went for lunch and had an outstanding experience! Staff was super friendly and the food was so good. I will definitely be returning soon.

Recently visited rosedales and had a great time, I went with my boyfriend we had the pizza which was a 10/10! Great staff and very professional service our server was amazing. Meet the owner very welcoming and Very caring about his customers. Will definitely be coming back !

This place is beyond amazing. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great spot to calming spot. The food is fire, and the service is on point shoutout to the staff for being super friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a solid place to eat and hang out.🤩♥️

One of my faves! You can never go wrong and I am super picky about my Italian food. The Chicken Rustica is really yummy with lots of roasted garlic. The amatriciana sauce is not common in alot of places but its spicy and I mean Italian bacon (pancetta) how can you go wrong? Staff is amazing and an open kitchen adds to the fun. Def check them out!

Believe the negative reviews. After going here for the first time I now understand where the negative reviews are coming from. Our waitress seemed put off and annoyed with our presence. Tasty bread was brought out to the table when we arrived. The bread arrived, warm and swiftly. However, the dipping oil was canola oil and not real extra-virgin olive oil. We inquired about getting extra-virgin olive oil oil and our waitress told us they do not have any in the restaurant. Of course, this seems quite strange for Italian restaurant as that is a staple in Italian cooking. Perhaps they have olive oil in the back and just don’t bring it out for customers to consume with bread. Not sure. We ordered a couple pizzas, pasta, lasagna, and one gluten-free pasta dish. The pizzas were terrible. I have eaten pizza in New York and Italy and many other places around the country and this has to be one of the worst pizzas we’ve ever tried. The cheese and toppings were tasty, but the dough was flavorless, and the consistency dry in a bad way similar to a gluten-free crust, however, it wasn’t gluten-free. The lasagna was excellent and I would recommend trying that if you end up having to go to this restaurant. The pasta, is supposedly shipped in from Italy, but it was no different than any boxed pasta you would buy at Publix. The gluten-free pasta was as expected and no different than most other restaurants serving gluten-free pasta. Save your time and money and go to one of the many other Italian restaurants in Naples, as this place is certainly is not worth it. Addendum: Thank you for the quick response to my review. Unfortunately, you were mistaken about the oil. The oil they brought out to our table was definitely not EVOO. If it was, it was the lowest quality EVOO I’ve ever tasted in my life as it was clear and bland and did not taste like EVOO, as I happen to be an EVOO extraordinaire. Additionally, your server told us it was definitely not EVOO. Perhaps the flour you used was stale or not stored properly. Additionally, perhaps your cooks did not know how to prepare or cook the pizza dough because the dough was certainly off, and I’ve had pizza at very high and Italian Neapolitan certified restaurants. I’ve also had pizza in many places in New York City and yours pales in comparison to those. You certainly are witty with your responses to your customers, particularly the negative reviews. However, you keep mentioning your 4.6 and 4.5 star ratings but you’ve already dropped to 4.3 on google and I would expect that to continue to plummet. Good luck with your business.

The food was great,very friendly waitress.

My husband and I we had pizza there before and it was okay. Not the case tonight. We ordered a margarita pizza, adding olives and prosciutto. The cheese was not fresh nor had tomatoes but tomatoe sauce, like a regular pizza. I had to removed the cheese, sincerely tasted rubbery. The amount of olives were overpowering. From the time we ordered and we pick up it was 10 minutes. The pizzas surprisely it was ready... And you can tell it was old. Very disappointing. Please ask for something else... Maybe will be better than a pizza and specially a Margarita Pizza.

Decided to check out rosedale while we were in town, visiting from Philly. We were in the mood for some good brick oven pizza. We found exactly that. My husband and I shared the Italiano pizza, Margherita pizza and the wings. The wings were amazing! The server suggested to add the hot cherry peppers which was the greatest idea! So good! My kids shared the NY pizza and finished with spumonis given to us by the owner which was so nice. My kids were thrilled. We will definitely be back next time we visit when looking for a taste of home.

Last night my friends and I went to Rosedale for a girls night out. The smell of the marinara sauce was the first thing I noticed when walking through the front door. My friends and I were seated and greeted by our server in a timely manner. We all shared a bottle of wine along with the fried calamari and fried shrimp. Both so crispy and fresh. We all then decided to do a family style dinner and shared 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. We ordered a White pizza and a New York pizza with pepperoni. Crust was cooked just right! The Alla Vodka and the Greco pasta dishes were amazing. So much flavor and not bland at all. To finish with something sweet we ordered the Italian rainbow cake and the tiramisu. It was the perfect way to end such a great authentic Italian meal. So glad we found you Rosedale! We’ll be back!

Myself and a couple of friends stopped at Rosedale's after a long day of moving furniture. We arrived at 8:20PM and were immediately told by the bartender/front end person they closed at 9:00PM we needed to hurry up and sit down and order ASAP. After we sat the waitress came over immediately and asked what would you like to drink and do you know what you want to eat as she threw the menus on the table. We gave her our drink orders and said we needed to look at the menu. She said please hurry because the kitchen is closing in a few minutes. It was still 40 minutes before closing time!! She returned with our drinks and we ordered. As we were talking someone else came and said he wanted to place an order to go but was immediately told sorry the kitchen is closed good bye!!! Our orders came about 5 minutes later and 2 of the orders had problems because of cold meat and wrong side disk. The waitress said I'm sorry but it's all we have and left. She came back with our checks and one of our party said they wanted one check for all the meals. She said sorry the checks are printed and I can't change them. To keep things simple we paid our checks individually and as we were leaving were greeted with screaming and yelling from the kitchen and other staff from in a language none of us knew. Absentee ownership and management isn't a good recipe for friendly service.

What an amazing experience I had at Rosedale. They were extremely busy and was able to sit me down at the bar. I had the pleasure of watching Cristian make my food and it was made with love. It gave a little Italy vibe inside. I recommend 10/10. Make side you get Cristan to make your pizza and calzones. I'll definitely be coming back.

The eggplant parm was hard as a rock. Went there for a family lunch and spent a small fortune. Chicken parm and gnocchi was not good either. Bread was stale and we had to ask for it. Will never return.

Stay away. It took 15 minutes for our waiter to come back to get our order after we mentioned it to another server. The food was not good My wife ordered the lasagna and I ordered the gnocchi. Her lasagna was burnt on the bottom and the gnocchi was ok. My wife told our server that it was burnt on the bottom, the server cared less. It’s not a do over

Overall good experience. The options aren't exactly plentiful but what they do have is really good. Give them a try. Can't be worse than one of the biggest chains out there

We got takeout of a pepperoni pizza and the white mushrooms pizza and they were excellent. The Mushroom pizza was particularly delicious. Only one size pizza and a bit pricey but worth it.

Delicious chicken Parmesan sandwich with fresh cut French fries. Meatball parmesan with marinara. Italiano pizza. Toasted Almond cake for dessert!! Everything is 5 stars! Easy location. Plenty of free parking. Excellent service. Prices are very reasonable. First time visiting Naples, Fl. We will definitely come back.

Good food good service best to go for lunch as dinner gets really buisy. Fra diablo pasta is some of the best in the area, pizza is a hit or miss though.

While on vacation here in Naples we were looking for some Italian food, with our two year old and 7 year old we waited for almost an hour for our food to finally come out, I had asked them to check on our food about 30 minutes after we ordered, and she said it would be just a minute, 20 more minutes later the boss man said it was coming right now and 5 more minutes later the woman brought it out, they never apologized for how long it took or even tried to offer a discount or anything. my salad had onions which I asked for none but that wasn’t a big issue I took them off, my kids were starving by the time it came out after 8pm and their Alfredo tasted like plain buttered noodles, no cheese or seasoning flavor, plain noodles with barely any sauce, the food was all very plain like they don’t use any seasonings which is so far from legit Italian food. My eggplant parm was plain the noodles were cold and the eggplant was so thin I could barely find it in the breading.I think they forgot to put our order in and then rushed to make it. This food would never take that long to cook and we watched about 6 other tables come and go before getting our food. Would never eat here again. Funny thing is 3 years ago we ate here and I got chicken Marsala and could tell it came from a bag it was awful. We accidentally ended up here tonight and we’re starving so decided to try again and I wished I hadn’t.

The seafood passed I had was really great. The pizza we had was amazing. Definitely will come back here. There are times where you do have to wait for 30 to 1 hour just to be seated. It’s not a big restaurant inside, but they have outside seatings too.

Last nite delivery for small pizza, 2 dinners was $130!!!!! No salads, no rolls or bread. Pasta with chicken was a kid’s portion of pasta, basically without even sauce, chicken was ok. Delivered in a small plastic box. Last time for me!!

2 - 17- 24 had reservations for 630 was there at 620 told a couple mins it was busy didn't get a sitting till 740 as we were waiting a lady at a table came over and gave us bread and oil for my grandson of 16 months how nice that was, food is good service good I would of left long after half hour in to this but my daughter wanted to stay I will never go back to many other places honor RESERVATIONS with in a time frame. Nothing from owner who was there a sry maybe a drink for son-in-law

Somehow that was the worst pizza I’ve ever had and my girlfriend agrees… idk if we got a bad batch but the bread/ crust was terrible toppings and cheese were fine

The food was great, the service was wonderful. We got in there at 4, ahead of the evening crowd. Was a relatively quiet, and we finished up just as the pack was starting to arrive. What a relaxing, enjoyable time!

Horrible!!!. Were told 15-20minutes. We were waiting almost hour for food. They were not even busy. Once we got the food we get home and the food is not even cooked properly!!!! The dough was wet and sticky through out the whole “sandwich” we ordered eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana sandwiches and got some uncooked dough. Tried to call the place but it looks like they blocked our phone. Horrible experience. Adding this in our list of AVOID Places! *responding to Rosedale- the only ones that lie is you. Bad reviews are worth reviews and opportunity for an improvement, you should not tell people they lie when it’s really what happened.

It’s not a good sign when the manager comes into the kitchen area while you’re eating and gives the staff (all hard working Hispanic men and women) an earful. The pizza was ehhhh.....average at best. So I went to ZZA Baby at Mercato today and found a new place! I'll continue to visit other places like The Crust on 41, ZZA, Mino's, and Lowbrow where there isn't a mental health crisis. I'm a marketing guy and the best advice I can give local business owners and managers is to calmly and nicely address bad reviews and to offer a way to get the customer to edit their review and change their opinion through good communication. Please read the response we received below and all the other "lowest" reviews to see the approach and tone used by the owner/manager before you decide if this is where you want to spend your hard earned money especially in this climate and economy when there are so many GOOD local business owners who respect their clientele and don't treat them so POORLY. Get some mental health advice. You actually have 4.3 stars and more bad reviews to come after being such a prickly GRINCH to your customers and STAFF. We spend A LOT of $$$$$ eating out and we will never return again. Ho, ho, ho.

What a great surprise. Stopped for a car charge and walked into this hidden treasure. A unique veal sandwich that we split between 2 - delicious. Friendly staff - the open kitchen with the wood burning oven was great. The absolute best veal - baked in the oven with an amazing pizza crust. 5++ And great value.

Shrimp Scampi with linguini was exceptional. The sauce was perfect balance of butter, roasted garlic and lemon and the shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. The lasagna was meaty with perfect amount of marinara sauce. Not heavy on cheese, which is exactly how I like it. We will eat here again.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars! Not only was the food fantastic but the service was top notch! We ate with our pup at one of the outdoor tables, and the owner even stopped out with a fresh piece of grilled chicken for him... outstanding!! We had the portobello mushroom gnocchi, caprese salad, and a pizza. Everything was spot on! This was definitely a highlight of our trip, and we'll be back again next year. Highly recommend!

We chose Rosedale Brick oven because it is ranked #1 on Trip advisor and I was hoping for a finally good pizza but unfortunately I could not enjoy the order due to the bad experience with the delivery. It is rare that I’ve written any review but this experience got to my nerves especially that I paid for something that I never received. We just ordered 3 pizzas and we got delivered only 2 of them. When I asked the delivery man, he said this is all I got for you and you must contact the restaurant if you are missing anything, so I did, right away. Whomever answered the call, said that they definitely sent the entire order for delivery and if It is missing then I must contact doordash and ask for the missing pizza. I understand they use a 3rd party for delivery but as a customer, I ordered through the restaurant’s website and the restaurant decided how to deliver my food, I did not choose doordash. Anyway, I could not get a hold of anyone at doordash and the restaurant said they cannot do anything. So technically I paid for something I never received and the restaurant instead of getting a hold of the people they work with and of rectifying the issue that is not the customer’s fault, they decided to end the conversation with: you may contact the delivery company. Hell of a customer service!

My husband and I went there for the first time last week for his birthday and the whole experience was fantastic. The server was friendly, the food was incredible and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was just so, so nice! It’s a bit of a drive for us but we will definitely be back.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight, he ordered dessert. the prices for dessert were not on the menu. He ordered a tartufo and when the bill came it was $16.!!!! We called the waiter over to ask him and he said that was the charge. I responded by telling him I have never paid $16 for a tartufo! My husband and I have gone down to fifth Avenue many times and have had dessert and never have paid that kind Ide of money for tartufo. Big RIP OFF! And it wasn’t even that great. We will not be returning to the restaurant again.!

I went with friends and family. We ordered a few salads, eggplant parmigiana, and pizza. The portions were very good size and salads had fresh produce. The pizza was really tasty - thin crust, flavorful sauce, and plenty of cheese and toppings. We didn’t have to wait long and staff was courteous. I will go next time I am in Naples.

I truly enjoyed my experience at Rosedale. The pizza was amazing and I will certainly be back to try the pasta. I saw a server pass by with the chicken marsala and it looked amazing. My mouth was watering! I will be telling everyone about this hidden gem!

If you are searching for true Italian food, look no further than Rosedale! Very comfortable NY/ Italian ambience. The moment you walk in, it smells delicious. Service was fast, staff was very friendly. Ordered the meatballs to start..so delicious, they reminded me of my grandmothers (who was from Naples, Italy) and that says a lot. Had the NY style Calamari for my main dish which was full of flavor. As I was sitting at the counter area, seeing all the food going out.. took a pizza to go for my son and he absolutely loved it. It was the spinach and sausage pizza. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for authentic Italian food. Coming from Brooklyn, I am glad to say I finally found a spot that tastes like "home."

We have been patronizing this restaurant since it opened, years ago and generally it has been our go to for pizza. Our late lunch last week was disappointing. The calamari was different, not as good as usual. The NY pizza also tasted different, dough does not taste the same and not sure about the sauce. We asked for it slightly less cooked, but it came out burned which surprised us. Server did not pay attention to our request to avoid burned crust.

My husband and I came to Rosedale for dinner and sat at the counter near the brick oven. I loved being able to see all the dishes come out and the fresh ingredients. We started with the wings Italiano, which was delicious! They were nice and crispy and full of flavor with garlic and onions, highly recommend. I ordered the eggplant parm sandwich and my husband ordered a classic cheese pizza. As the menu stated, its Neapolitan style (reminded us of when we were in Italy) and it was so tasty. We even ordered one to go! I cant wait to bring my mother for happy hour. Will certainly be back!

It was pretty good in 2021. What happened? One of our favorite things to order was Italian wings they were so delicious. These wings arrrived charcoal burnt and dried out. We remembered them coming with declious chunks of bread with olive oil and cheese, which added a nice touch to the dish. This is what actually enticed us to go back. Not the same. New cook maybe? We aked about it and was told they no longer make them like that and people working there didn't know what we were talking about. The owner was also working the tables. We did mention problem to him and he offered to remake them for us. Also, ordered eggplant parmesan, which was hard and room temperature. We were wondering if it were even heated. We will not be returning or giving referrals to this restaurant.

We did enjoy our food, but our experience left much to be desired. After we had ordered, our food came in halfs everytime. Two of us recieved our salads and 8 min later the other 2 recieved their, this was also the same with our entrees.

We ordered some mussels, calamari and a pizza at lunch. Calamari were ok, the mussels were fishy and the pizza has nothing to do with the NY style. Not good, the chef should taste his mussel before to served them. Not happy

Ate here yesterday , service was great and quick. I had the best Sicilian riceball I have ever had. The pizza was Neapolitan style, not my favorite , however had lots of flavor, though a bit under done for my taste. We will definitely go back if we find ourselves on pine ridge road around dinner time and try some other items on the menu.

This is a casual spot. The menu is wonderful. There are so many choices. We were seated right away by our waiter. My husband had the Chicken Picatta. I had the Alfredo. We also had a large Caesar Salad. Everything was delicious and the servings were generous. The service was good. So, this will be added to our favorites list!

Awesome food, great staff, and some of the best pizza I have had in Florida! My wife and I discovered this place after Hurricane Ian, we were staying at my dad's in Naples. We sat down at the bar with a nice Italian wine, and they made the pizza right in front of us. Very cool experience! Incredible salads as well!!

Appears to be a pizza joint but NNNNOOOOooo awesome Italian dishes!!! Before 6 we got a glass of wine for 2:75 and Sam Adams $2.50!!! The glass of sprite was 3:25 LOL Great place to find...we WILL be back!!!

I have been going to Rosedales for 10 years never to have a bad meal or uncomfortable dining situation!!!!! UNTIl last nite. (3/30/23) Others ordered the pizza which is very good I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was over cooked to the point it was like cutting chicken!!! I couldn’t eat it Ok so someone didn’t do their job BUT…….. when the OWNER came over, we told him about it He said roughly “ what do you want me to do??? Tell your server” And them tossed the plate back on the table so it slid back to me We were so disgusted with his attitude that we will stop going to Rosedales The owner must have been having a bad night!!!! He didn’t need to take it out on us

I wanted to place a nice sized order to serve guests, however, I was told they couldn’t deliver because I lived .2 miles beyond their range. Yes, 2/10 of a mile. How inflexible. I even mentioned that I’m from Rosedale. No dice. Oh well, their loss.

We were in the area for 5 days and ate here twice. The first time we tried to get in a few other places but they all had a long wait. We stopped at Rosedale's and were seated after a few minutes. We were very happy with our dinner so went back later in the week. The first meal I had the Fra Diavlo Trio Fettuccine and it was very good. My husband had their marinara with sausage. He also enjoyed it and he never orders sauce out, so that was a big compliment. The 2nd meal was just as good, but I can't remember what we ordered. I think we had a chicken dish and an appetizer. The owner was friendly and out helping to clear tables. He is also from NY so we chatted a bit.

Excellent food and service. The staff was very friendly and professional. The owner Joe was very friendly and checked in on us to see if everything was good, it was better than good, it was great. Penne with vodka sauce and grill chicken was delicious, chicken milanese was very good, and arancini rice ball was amazing. Don't miss this hidden gem and authentic Brooklyn/Queens NYC Italian restaurant 😊🇺🇲🇮🇹 I love the loop on the TV of the Little Rascals👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻classic.

Finally made it back and I have to update my review from "Good food. Good service." To Great food and Great service. Everything we had was fantastic. The left overs were just as good the next day. The staff is very personable and will try to accommodate you. They get busy at night so get there earlier or after rush if you don't want to wait.

Was in Naples for a quick weekend and ate here twice. First time, we got a carry out pizza and it was fabulous! I loved the crust and the toppings were generous and fresh. Upon picking up the pizza, we realized it was a full-service restaurant, we went back and dined inside. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and we were immediately greeted and seated. I ordered the chicken francaise and let me tell you it was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. The pasta fagioli soup was also delicious. My husband ordered the lasagna with a side of meatballs. The meatballs were a little dense, but that didn't affect the taste one bit. They were so good. The lasagna portion was very generous and we loved the sauce. I so wanted to give 5-stars because the food was amazing. But as you know, when reviewing a restaurant, we must consider the service. Our waitress was not very attentive and at times seemed off-putting and quite rude. At one point, my husband asked for the parmesan shaker and she never acknowledged the request, just walked away. We looked at each other like 'did she hear us' and then she came back with the cheese and literally slid it across our table, without a word and without a pause at all in her walk. Twice the other waiter (who was excellent by what we saw) came to check on us, brought us our water and also cleared away our dirty plates. All in all, despite the service not being very good, we will definitely come back again.

The eggplant parm sandwich was more like a calzone and I loved it. The house dressing was delicious in a salad full of fresh greens. Other dishes tried at the table were fried mozzarella, onion rings, creative fries, meatball sandwich, and wings. Everyone raved about the delicious food.

The wait staff was excellent. The best service we've had in long while. Bolognese sauce and baked gnocchi were top notch. Highly recommend the calamari

Do not go here if you expect even mediocre service. Our take-out order took twice as long as promised. It was over an hour for 2 pizzas and a salad, when it was promised in 30 minutes. Many take-out customers waiting were having the same experience of the order taking far longer than promised. One customer asked for their money back and left. The staff/cooks seem to service and fill orders for tables over take-out. Owner/manager is nasty to his staff, barking out commands; the staff in turn are nasty to the customers. When I asked if my order was ready, and how much longer it would take, one person said, "I'll check", and then turned to work in the small drink area, with no intention of checking. Another person responded to the same question with "How should I know." When I finally got my order, there was no thank you, or any sort of apology for the very long wait. We have gone here for many years, since they opened, for both take-out and sit-down. This is at least our second bad experience with take-out. We will not be returning again.

Great carryout pizza. Popular place. Will go back for dinner.

We called to book a table. We told twice that we have a dog. We were told that we are all set and we’ll have a table in an hour. So we waited for an hour just to be rejected because of the dog.

The food is really good! We're going back soon.
