It is easily the best American style Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Everything is top-notch and full of flavor. I could probably eat here twice a week if we lived closer. We need one near Birmingham!

Super amazing! First time! Thank you to our amazing server, Stephanie, shown. I had spinach enchiladas, I could taste each ingredient separately. Super mind blowing! My taste buds had quite the amazing party in my mouth. Good size portions, ate a lot and didn't feel overwhelmed. Very pleased. Also, amazing appetizers, chips and salsa. Atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. Our fabulous serve, Ask for STEPHANIE ~ thank you for a wonderful lunch experience.

My wife and I just decided to eat at Rosie’s after flipping a qtr over Cheesecake Factory. Very very pleased with Rosie’s food and atmosphere. Highly recommended by the Aarons.

I ordered a chalupa chalupa and it came out as a tostada they told me that is correct what I ordered and that is their chalupa waitress service was terrible and we had to wait 38 mins before I asked the hostess to get our waitress just to get a check without them pre busing any plates the waitress just never came back after food actually other person brought food it was $54 meal all four us didn’t eat well food was bland in addition to not getting what I ordered

First time visit. Everything was good. I would of preferred shredded beef instead of steak on my taco.

My favorite mexican place in huntsville!

This place has an amazing atmosphere! Feels like a different world when you walk in and the courtyard outside is gorgeous. Our server was excellent (Can't remember her name, but it was a female with dark hair), and she made me feel important as she walked me through the menu with great patience. The Queso blanco is very flavorful. You get a lot of food for a lunch plate. The only thing I would change is that I wanted a little bit more spice and overall seasoning. We will be back to try more of the menu.

The food was okay pretty average Mexican food but im certain I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much if it wasn’t for our server Janae. She made great recommendations, was very fast with drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly hospitable to us while also managing a busy Friday night crowd. Will definitely be returning if only to sit in her section again!!!

Rosie's isn't your typical Mexican food joint. They serve all the usual dishes, but they throw their own level of authenticity in each plate. If you're craving Mexican food, highly recommend Rosie's

Best Mexican food in Huntsville...period!

Nice restaurant. Has a chain feel. Being from Texas, found the flavors to be a little bland. The jalapeno mac & cheese bites were a fun concept, & the jalapeno margarita was one of the best I've had. We also had sour cream chicken enchiladas. The rice was hard. Charro beans were bland. Chips were good. We did have really good service.

Food is okay, certainly nothing to rave about, just your standard fare you can get at any mexican restaurant. Salsa tastes like it came from a can though, which was the biggest negative about the place. Overall not a bad experience, but not good enough to return anytime soon.

Four of us were in Huntsville for a couple of days to attend a graduation. Rosie's Mexican Cantina came recommended. So we decided to dine there on 8/1/24 and glad we did. Miguel was our waiter and he was great! The food was equally great! The place was packed for a Thursday evening. That tells you something. Five stars all the way!!!

Had a delightful dinner, service was on point. I ate the guacamole salad, very fresh and had lots of cheese. I drank the mambo taxi and it was nice and tart, not too sweet. I would go back and highly recommend.

Food portions are getting smaller and the prices are getting higher... thanks democrats! Service is not as good as it use to be. Biggest complaint, no military discounts.

Food is literally just okay. Nothing special or even well seasoned, just decent. Drinks were good. The service was cool, can’t complain. I probably wouldn’t come back but maybe once more to try something else but I wouldn’t expect much.

Me and my friends went to go eat here for the first time, and we were so excited to eat after going to a art museum cause we were so hungry. We walk in expecting a great experience…. We were wrong. The server was so disrespectful… I was asking questions about the deluxe Nachos cause that is what I wanted and she says “have u never been here before” with attitude….. and proceeds to tell me that if I want the guac on the side then I have to put everything else on the side and that didn’t even make sense. Mind you she was super nice to the man behind us. I don’t know if it is because we are teenage girls but it doesn’t even make a difference. This just ruined our day. No one at my tables liked their food. And when we asked to take the cheese dip back she didn’t even want to deal with it and made the manager do her job. And the cheese dip was DISGUSTING.

Let me say the atmosphere is spot on and we loved the decor. The queso was delish. Having said that, I had the chicken enchiladas, and the chicken literally looked, tasted and smelled like canned chicken. The ground beef taco was so bland. They were nice enough to comp the Ckn enchiladas

The steak fajitas, Rosiechanga and pollo Santa Fe are all great. Make sure to try the tortillas with whatever you get!

I went to Rosie's to pick up a copy of the Tidbits of Athens & Limestone Co paper. The food was good. The service was good.

This restaurant has a beautiful building and a good atmosphere. But the food is bland and not at all authentic. We ordered 4 different plates, and none of them were great. The food is bland, and so are the sauces. Service is slow, but the waiting staff is very nice and attentive.

What a treat! My friend and I were seated almost immediately. The staff seemed genuinely happy to see and seat is. I enjoyed some smoking hot chicken fajitas. My order was right. And it was served by our waiter with a smile, he checked on us just enough not to annoy us . We needed some extra napkins and then soppapillas to take home and they were brought out right on time . Our dining experience happened on a Saturday. My friend and I were already planning our next trip to Rosie's.

This place is barely a step above Taco Bell. Everything is frozen and white people bland. I guess that's why all the hillbillies love it. This place is bad, has always been bad, and will most likely continue to be bad. With the amount of decent Mexican food in this town, people should feel ashamed for patronizing this establishment.

At least the queso was good. Otherwise, definitely the Nickelback of Mexican dining in the Huntsville area. It makes all the noises and looks like a Mexican restaurant, but lacks the authenticity and spice that make it palatable.

This place never disappoints. Food, service, and price were excellent. There is a waitlist during busy hours since they are so good. Won’t go to any other Mexican restaurant in town!

I have been to Rosies Cantina before. This time I got it to go and took it back to the hotel room. They got everything perfect. The service was excellent and when I got back to the room, everything was there and the food was delicious. I got the fajitas so when you order this menu item to go, there is a lot that goes with it. Fajitas, chips, rice, cheese, mexican butter, soup, and all the amenities. They got it perfect. Great job!

I understand Mexican foods is usually spicy, but every other Mexican restaurant I've been to has at least a few Mexican dishes that don't have spicy peppers. Apparently this one does not, unless you want a steak or chicken sandwich. Our waitress said that all of their prepared meats for all of their dishes come premade with spicy peppers. My husband said the chips and salsa they brought was also spicy, which is unusual even in his opinion. Had high hopes for this place, as it looks adorable and the people are very friendly. Can not recommend as someone who can't tolerate capsaicin.

Love Rosie's, their service is always great. The salsa at this one is a little sweeter than the others but still okay. Lunch quesadilla is plenty of food and comes out fairly quickly. The tortilla was crisp and had a great, almost buttery flavor.

The staff was really nice. The food was very bland. I can honestly say there was almost no seasoning in the chimichanga. Not only did I order one but my brother did also and neither one was very good. The kids seem to like their french fries and chicken. None of the Mexican food was very good though.

Someone give Janae a raise she was amazing we will be back!

Rosie’s is my favorite restaurant ever. I would sell my car for the chicken enchilada recipe. and the queso!!! all the food is 10/10. I crave their food more than i’ve ever craved food in my life. Every time I get to pick a restaurant people know i’m gonna say Rosie’s.

We love Rosie’s! Definitely some of the best food around. Their strawberry margaritas are also incredible, so make sure to try one! OH and by far HANDS DOWN the best sopapillas I have ever had. They are always fresh and super light. They’re even just as good warmed up the next day 🤤

Everytime I go to Rosie’s I have such a pleasurable experience; however, last night I was served by Zeke and it topped every other experience by far. He is such a great waiter— attentive, personable, and overall made the dinner much more enjoyable. Please recognize how much of an asset he is to the Rosie’s team!

Do yourself a favor and get the shrimp fajitas.

The atmosphere and service were great but the food was not great. I'm not sure if they switched their floor tortilla recipe but these didn't taste amazing like normal and fell apart from the very first bite. The rice also didn't have it's normal flavor. Again, not sure if they are trying new recipes but for sure food has seemed to drop drastically in the last year or so. Waitress was great though!

Great food. Service here is almost always good. The beef used in the tacos is a 2.5 out of 5. It's not very flavorful by itself. So if you're looking for that burst of flavor when you bite into that warm tortilla, it's not here. The Rosiechanga is very good though, and so are their drinks. They also have great desserts, so try one of you have the room.

This place was really close to my hotel, the food was decent, and the drinks were good. Convenient location and good atmosphere.

Always our favorite for Tex Mex in HSV. The tacos and the beef fajitas are our usual favorites, but to be real, it's all good.

I've been here three times now & this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. The chips and salsa have been fresh every visit. The Pollo Santa Fe is delicious 😋 moist chicken under a blanket of cheese! The beef in the fajitas and the Mexican garlic butter are cravable. Huge portions, great atmosphere, friendly service, and the restrooms appear clean. It's an hour's drive there but totally worth it.

Rosie's both locations in Huntsville are superb. Rosie's is my only choice for Mexican in Huntsville. The Chile Rellenos and a Negra Modelo is my favorite meal.

We had a nice date night at Rosie's. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the interior decoration is beautiful and thoughtful. For our meal we had chips, salsa, and queso, a chicken quesadilla, and chicken chalupas. We loved the queso and almost filled up on it alone. Highly recommend spending the $10 for the bowl of queso to share with your table. For our entrees, they were very fresh with high quality veggies and other ingredients. The portions are very generous and will definitely leave you with leftovers. The chalupas could have used a little more flavor, but would be great with drizzled salsa or queso on top. For dessert we ordered fried ice cream, which was absolutely delicious and a huge portion for between 2-4 people, depending on how full you are from your meal! We really appreciated the diligence of our waitress Tori, who has mastered the true art of waitressing. Thank you!

I have never seen such mess in my life with the service here the wait is crazy and the way they sit people is even worse. They telling people 20 minute waits and that turns into an hour because of how they choose to sit people. This will be the last time I grace this place.

I used to love this place, but the service and quality has gone downhill in the last year. We have gone to the restaurant and order online and the experience has been terrible. Today, we ordered online, and half of the order was missing, we live 45 minutes away, and their solution was for us to go back!!!!!!! I'm never coming back; I gave you plenty of opportunities!!!! I'm done with Rosie's. Take your money to another establishment.

Rosie’s is always a go to. Showed up and couldn’t find parking. (Wasn’t aware but THERE IS ADDITIONAL PARKING in the rear next to the hotel.) The place was packed and we (party of 7) still got seated in under 10 minutes on a busy Saturday night!

Food & Service always great, just noisy when busy.

I enjoyed the Mahi Mahi fish taco, lots of chips, salsa and queso blanco. The service and quality of the food never disappoints.

Food is terrible. I am under the suspicion that they use Walmart bagged chicken and steak for fajitas. In fact after trying both the chicken and steak I went to Walmart and bought the pre cooked chicken. Looked the same and tastes the same with the exact same texture. The burritos are the size of a Tex-Mex enchilada. The chimichangas look like flautas but smaller. I know the person who created the chimichangas and ate at her restaurant in Tucson Az. This is not Mexican but catering to a state that is apparently clueless of the wonderful flavors and taste of Mexican cuisine. The redeeming quality of our experience was our waitress. She hit on everything. When asking for the Jalapeño Peppers she recommended the mac-cheese bites. When asking for burrito she asked if I would prefer fajita steak. When taking drink orders she didn’t suggest water she suggested a soft drink. She upsold on everything and made us feel valuable. I spent years in the industry working for celebrity chefs in America and in Europe. The food is lacking, if not embarrassing. The staff (service staff) are phenomenal and doing what they are supposed to be doing. The decoration was Tex- Mex. The food was Alabama.

I watched a bartender break a glass over the ice and he went to dispose of the glass he had in his hand, the manager came up to help clean up the mess and served a drink out of the ice that glass was just broke in to a table. If I hadn't of spoke up it would had made it to the table. She went and got it only because I said something. And ignored me until she delivered my food to tell me how much experience she has and it was just a careless mistaken. Which she should definetly have known better since she has so much experience. And when I order my cheese dip and asked if they had plain cheese dip with no peppers or anything in it the waitress said yes and when I get back to the hotel the cheese dip has alot of peppers and is spicy. Not a good experience at all!!! If this is what happens when people are watching what's happens where no one can see.

Brought out of town business guests for a quick lunch before meetings. They were impressed. Love Rosie's. We relocated and we sure miss it, but enjoy it when in Huntsville.

Service and atmosphere was excellent. Chips and salsa were fresh. Salsa particularly good- thick enough to hang on your chip. Tortilla soup was meaty and substantial enough to be a meal on its own. Our main entrees were good but not distinctly novel. House margaritas were good as always. I look forward to trying other entrees on the menu.

My wife and I went in for lunch, good food good service, however after gems credit card bill found I was charged twice including tip. Lucky I keep receipts after digging through I seen I was charged exactly double. I called and asked to speak with a manager, after quite some time on the phone I was transferred twice to supposedly the real manager the second time. I was then told they would call me back that they needed to look into the charges to make sure. I was called back and told “sorry we normally go through charges but missed this one, sorry we will reverse the charge soon.” That’s it, better watch your charges close. You would think they would have completed refunded or something considering the time I wasted to get charged twice.

Authentic Mexican food and atmosphere

I Never write reviews but this place absolutely blew me away! The shrimp tacos were incredible. The service was great and fast. The place was super clean. Overall easily one of the best Mexican places I have ever been to!

My husband and I came by on a very busy Saturday night. We were quoted a 20 minute wait but only waited about 10. Our server was at our table within a couple of minutes, which gave us just enough time to decide on an appetizer and drinks. We got everything we ordered quickly, which was unexpected as we ordered the raspberry salmon which warned on the menu that it takes longer to cook. Our food was amazing, but the real star of the show was the Tres Leches cake for desert. It was HUGE. There were fresh fruits all around it with whipped cream on top. So good. Our server Chelsey was amazing. She suggested the fajita burrito and it was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and she was super friendly from start to finish. Food 10/10 Chelsey 10/10 service.
