I have been going to Rossini's since early 1990's. Food, service and atmosphere has always been excellent. Having grown up in the South End of Htfd and being of Italian descent I think I know a winner when I find 1. Emilio makes the BEST pizza in CT, period. The meals are always delicious and have used them for catering events. I really enjoy going to Rossini's, it makes Me HAPPY! Sal LoBello

Rossinnis is fresh, delicious, and friendly. If you want something different, they will do it.

Meatball sub was fine. I saw 6 employees and only one other customer, yet I stood around for at least five minutes before asking someone how to take an order. I felt invisible. Nobody said hello. Nobody welcomed me or even acknowledged I was there.

Not bad. Great pizza with golden brown crispy crust (the way it's supposed to be) and Rossini's medium pizza is a large at most places.

I've been going to Rosinis for years...I get a simple small cheese with extra sauce in take out (the best Pizza in my opinion) and or a Hamburger with fries and they have one of the best burgers I've had believe it or not...I know many people that agree. They are some of the nicest people I know, I recommend this place for sure.

Visiting family and heard it was good, got a takeout order, came home and both pizzas were way over cooked and burnt. Do not recommend!!!!

I moved away years ago, and still tell everyone no where has pizza like Connecticut and specifically Rossini’s! I get a large cheese every time I’m back in town!

I grew up in the area, and didn’t realize how fortunate I was to have such awesome pizza. Every time I come “home”, there’s an expectation that Rossini’s is on the agenda. And I’ve learned not to come “home” on Mondays. I love the special, and when I go with cheese, I add extra, with fresh garlic.

Terrible pizza was the worst we have ever had! Bottom of the crust was so hard and the dough was raw. And the very unprofessional so called manager was rude and told it was our fault because we ordered it with the red sauce,when it's offered as an option the top was soggy and uncooked. My wife mentioned to the so called manager that I was lactose intolerance and she said what does that have to do with the white sauce. Dont your employees know what they are serving?

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had a side of meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were very good, large, moist, tender, and flavorful. The pizza was very good also. Nice crust, good flavor, plenty of cheese. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.6.

We pick up food here occasionally. Ordering ahead online is simple. I always get a calzone and it is always good. The sauce they give you with it is a highlight, tangy but not too acidic.

Our server was outstanding as was the Food. Will definitely be going back!!

We hosted my daughter's baptism lunch here for around 65 people, including over a dozen kids under the age of 12. Simona was so responsive during planning and when we showed up half an hour early they were super flexible. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. The space was perfect where people could break into smaller groups but also get up and mingle with everyone. They let us bring in our own cake and cut and served it for us as well.

Stopped in for lunch, ordered a small house salad and a side order of meatballs. The greens in the salad were bitter, meatballs warm at best. Not worth the $14 price. Will not go back

We used Rossini to cater for our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing and I can’t thank the staff enough for all their hard work to ensure everything went smooth for us. Moved to the area 3 years ago . Tried a bunch of ‘Italian’ restaurants, pizza 🍕 places . Always disappointed. Just about convinced myself if I wanted Italian or pizza I just needed to go to New Haven county .Until last Friday . First time to Rozzini’s , to say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. All I can say is that was not pizza ! That was full blown Abeetz!! Perfect char crust , toppings sausage and mushrooms absolutely delicious! We boxed up leftovers for home. Nothing better than leftovers right. Well today we decided to heat it up for lunch. It was again delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try their dinners.

You can tell a pizza place is great when their basic cheese pizza is delicious. You can't hide anything behind a cheese pizza. If the cheese pizza is good, all the pizza is good. Rossini's is a very solid Italian style, which I much prefer to the thicker and greasier Greek one. One tip: If you're more used to the New Haven Apizza, ask for your pie well done here and it will be crispier like that style. Personally, I like their pizza as is, but this is handy for others to know. Outside of pizza, their grinders and apps are good two. Highly recommend their meatball grinder and their calamari.

Called in an order and was given a wait time of 1 hr 45 min for two large pies (margherita and clams casino) with an order of fries. Pizza was good, but it was a type that to me is almost better reheated. Could be me, as I am a regular at the New Haven area top tier apizza restaurants (home base for me would be Roseland Apizza in Derby). Crust was a little doughy, but toppings were good as well as the sauce. Would probably order well-done if we are back in the area.
