Great customer service quick service

Love this Roy Rogers, due to the fact of its friendly service and quick time to get your food. Sucks sometimes when they don't have the chicken pieces you want due to them cooking to keep it fresh but overall the food tastes good. They just need to update the bathroom a little bit I feel like everything in there is updated to some degree but the bathrooms.

Since moving out of state, I haven’t visited Roy Rogers in years, and my recent visit did not disappoint. The food was fresh and hot, even during a Sunday night rush at 8 PM with a limited staff. Despite the crowd, service was fast and friendly. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Frederick.

We went through the drive thru and it took probably close to 40 minutes from start to finish. Not only that but i was not expecting how expensive it was for 3 people.

Food was tasty Patrons were pleasant.

5 separate visits all 5 have taken over 20 minutes to get food. When you do get it better check it cause 4 out of 5 times it's wrong.

This place and establishment has really gone down hill. My girlfriend spent her hard earned money on your food, and you couldn't even remember gravy for you instant mashed potatoes? Shame on you. Whoever owns the Roy Rogers franchise in Frederick should literally go out of business, because your quality control and food, you clearly don't care about. Your friend chicken is dry and to tough, your staff cant remember to include a simple thing as GRAVY for mashed potatoes? It's pathetic. Don't go here, or any Roy Roger's establishment in the Frederick area until they show some semblance of improvement. 0/10. Horrible!

Long wait times. Overpriced. Shrinkflation in effect. Terrible customer service. Plamondon brothers don't care obviously.

The amount of beef on the sandwich was good, but I felt the meat was a little dry. It could have used a small bit of au jus, but since I carried it out, I was not able to add it. Otherwise, it was good.

Tables and floors were filthy. Hard to find a clean table to eat at and they weren't busy AT ALL! I took their survey and explained in more detail about my experience there. I doubt I'll hear anything back from them. All this stuff ever seems to be us bot-generated.

Chicken was dried out from sitting to long

Service here us slower than you can believe. It is nothing abnormal to come here and wait in the drive through for 10+ minutes regardless if you have one car in front of you or not. Food is great, but don't come here if your in a hurry.

Came here late at night about 5 minutes before closing. Apologized profusely but John assured me it was no problem and was very helpful and attentive with his customer service. Every time I come here, they’re great and John always seems to be at the helm of it all. Love this location!

The breakfast fries were barely warm, and that's all I got aside from a coke. Very sad. I almost cried real tears. Well, maybe not real tears, but still saddened by my breakfast fries.

I went to this Roy Rogers for the first time, the Cashier was attentive and helpful. While eating there, one of the staff members was sanitizing the booths along with the tables and floors.

Quick and painless through drive thru. The young lady was nice and respectful.

I have had nothing but good experiences at this restaurant. I always get a burger with a fixings cup. It’s as good as Box Car Burgers for half the price. I went through the drive thru yesterday afternoon and had my food in less than two minutes. The food was hot and tasty. The gentleman in the drive thru was happy and polite. No complaints!

Place took 35 minutes to make 3 chicken tenders. They gave me a mcdonalds small size fry for their “large”. Hands down the worst fast food place around!

The roast beef was undercooked and not warm. This may be a one-off, but I'm not taking a chance.

Moved from Maryland 6 years ago. Always have a roast beef sandwich when we come up.

Food was good but a little pricey.

I took my parents to here last Sunday we got there around 940 pm and the sever told use there where closing at 10. (Their website said 1100) The roast beef that my Dad got was really good. I always remembered it being dry but this was the best I have ever had there. My mom got a cheese burger and that was not good at all.

I ordered a Spicy Texas Pete sandwich, but what I received in return was some form of chicken filet mignon. It was busting to the max. Fries were decent. Drink was good.

Bangin’ burgers. Sprinkle some Old Bay on one!

Used to be good food and service, now seems nobody working there cares anymore. Sad.

You can’t go wrong with the chicken at Roy rogers, the price is very comparable to other places but the flavor is all it’s own

Uniquely American, a great variety on the menu, sandwiches are great, chicken too, great sides & good desserts. Go Roy, get the hungry out of town!

Serves standard Roy Roger's food, which I do like. However, this is the slowest Roy Rogers in Frederick, possibly in the universe. If there was a Roy Rogers on Mars, I would drive the extra distance just to avoid this place. #bettermanagement

They never have dark meat fried chicken cooked. Every single time I try to get fried chicken they always tell me I have to wait 20 mins for them to cook it and I probably come here once a month. The last two times I’ve gone they put the food in the bag and the bottom of the bag rips and they give it to me anyways risking the food falling out of the bag (with 1 normal sized meal in the bag). Normally the employees are pretty nice but this time I had a younger girl and she was kinda rude. All in all I like the food but they need to step up the service.

We witnessed a wonderful employee giving a host cup to a patron in front of us-but then he apparently got I trouble for giving this to the dog-but we thought it was wonderful-wish the managers would not be so hard on employees.

The cod was so meaty - no minced fish!

As a Frederick local we enjoy our regular visit to Roy Rogers. Hard to beat chicken seasoning. But tonight while in the drive thru we watched an employee feeding a dog in the vehicle in front of us. As we approached the window she relocated to the front where the food is bagged. She opened bags for what I presumed was our order since no one was in the lobby or behind us. A young man approached me for payment and I mentioned my concern about handling of our order. He attempted to resolve my concern by saying he placed our food in the bags. He completed the transaction and said something to the young lady. She didn't budge, awaiting the next customer at the counter/register typing on her phone. We waited about ten minutes for the order then left. We're not concerned about providing pets with treats but if you cannot consider your personal hygiene and the health of your customers by washing your hands, this isn't the job for you.

Delicious food. My fast food go to. Steak and cheese, double R burger and jalapeño poppers! 💥 friggin Delicious 😋! Love the breakfast Ham, egg and cheese sourdough. Steak and cheese.

The drive thru wait was exceptionally long. There was one car in front of me to place an order and maybe four cars in front of him to pick up their order. But, the total wait ended up being approximately 20 minutes. The food was really good and hot but I also got a medium fry and a medium lemonade when I ordered both of them in a large. I was not billed for them as far as I could see but I certainly ordered a large at the drive-thru window.

Best breakfast of all fast food chain restaurants!

It's good 👍 food but today's prices I think 🤔 the price could be more affordable. With today's economy things are tight. But it's good food.

Fast courteous service, in a clean & well maintained dining room. The sandwich fixin's bar was well stocked and included several unique sauces (like "Boom Boom" and Horseradish). It was also great to have multiple side options (other than fries), which included salad. I'll be definitely be back!

I had a very good meal here the people were very kind considerate got my meal quick check out was quick was able to sit down and eat and take it easy for a little bit it's been a long day thank you Roy Rodger for making this a good lunch.

Love the chicken, but always waiting for it or end up leaving empty handed. How does a restaurant known for its chicken run out? Someone not forecasting properly? Maybe adopt Lil Ceaser's tagline: "hot and ready". Went to Roy's on 4/20, approached drive-thru, sign posted "no credit cards, cash only, sorry for inconvenience". Okay, cool. A little irritating, but I came back with $20. Approached drive-thru again. "Sorry, there's a 15 minute wait for chicken". Wait, what, are you serious? Is this a chicken restaurant or a restaurant in disguise as a business? Never have I been to Chick-fil-A, Popeyes or the worst chicken joint and they didn't have chicken. 7 out of 10 times I visit this Roy's, never have chicken ready or don't have the pieces wanted. I reviewed them 2 years ago, and it hasn't changed. The only consistency is the inconsistent service they render. What a screwed business model, to keep customers waiting for chicken or allow them to leave and go across the street to the competition, which I have done on occasion. Maybe they want to go out of business? Their staff is friendly and helpful, but getting chicken would be a bonus. I would not recommend this location.

Tried the new fish sammich. Yea. Save your money. Not worth it.

I live in Atlanta where we only have Arbys and no Roy Rogers. There is no comparison. The roast beef sliders at RR are so delicious. I was disappointed there were no baked beans but the fries were pretty good. I visit my Dad twice a year and the first thing I ever do when I get to Frederick is eat at Roy Rogers with him. I love that they have birch beer, too.

Hadn't been to a Roy Rogers in a decade. Better than I remembered! Everything was reasonably fresh and tasty. Would gladly choose this over most fast food.

Best french fries and burgers around not to mention the real roast beef sandwiches

One item in our order was forgotten, which has only happened twice at this location. Food was amazing and service was quick. If the manager is there he makes sure anything forgotten is given and has thrown in 2 brownies before to make up for it.

This was my first time at a Roy Rogers and it was very pleasant. The customer service was really helpful and the restaurant was very clean. The burgers were delicious. I got a bacon cheeseburger and you get to add your toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, onions etc and sauces on your own at the bar, which I love. And the fries were good too!! Mashed potatoes were a hit or miss. Would return and have. The second time wasn't as good as the first but it wasn't bad.

This isn't our usual Roy's but I wish it was..it was our first time here. We went through the drive thru. I only got a coffee. It was fresh. I ask for a separate cup with ice and 5 creams for just a small and they were very nice about my request. My bf got fries amd a burger, both were hot and very fresh. I could actually smell the freshness! Very impressed...If we're ever on that side of town again and hungry, we are most definitely doing back there. Oh yeah, we could totally understand the employees as well. Its so nice to go to a drive-through, where everyone is enunciating and not mumbling. Thanks guys! 😊

It is a Roy Rogers. It's pretty standard food and service, as it should be. I would rather eat at RR then most of the other fast food places. The young guy who served us was polite and professional.

Attitude of drive thru person was terrible. Clearly this person didn't want to be there working. And don't ask for a fixing cup, you get the eye roll.

Wasn't too busy so was able to get in and out within 12 minutes.

Best fried chicken three piece meal with a large mash potatoes and gravy side. Drive thru moves slow. Was worth the wait. Food was very hot and tastey. Exterior grounds were clean. Plenty of parking if you want to eat in the car or park to eat in the restaurant. Employees were friendly and order was accurate.

Great roast beef sandwiches - try the "Gold Rush Combo" for a (high calorie :-) ) wonderful treat. Delicious! Not many Roy-Rogers around any more, many were bought out by places like McDonalds and closed down to lessen competition. Great fast food, with healthy options (seriously, try the not healthy Gold Rush!)

The fried chicken at this location always taste weird. I got a 3 pc chicken meal and the chicken tasted old or like it had been sitting out all morning and was VERY dry and had no flavor at all!! This will be the last time that I come here for chicken because your better off just grabbing a sandwich! I'd rather drive to the TJ Drive location, where the fried chicken ALWAYS taste perfect!!

The chicken tenders are a joke. They are soooo tiny.. If you eat like a bird then Roy Roger's is for you! I've been here 3 times and my order was messed up each time. You get one side per "meal" which wouldn't be bad if the prices matched the bird meal. In all honesty, it's not worth it.
