One of my most favorite restaurants in the area. Rumi’s is absolutely the freshest and has the most delicious food. We get the sea Bass most of the time. Cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly and our waiter John was fabulous. If you have never eaten at Rumi’s I highly recommend you check it out. Everything is good. I look forward to my next visit. My mouth is watering now. So so good!! My location is usually sandy springs but they have other locations. You won’t be disappointed.

There was a ROACH in my Cheese and olive dish. Didn't know what to say. I was terrified and shocked. By far the worst experience ever in a restraunt. The shrimp are overcooked everytime. The real punchline - you have a whole bunch of teenage girls running the place that only care about petting the dogs that walk by. Was waiting for one of them to pass me but they were petting dogs and talking. The one older Manger is a persian man that was smiling and flirting with the girls at the host stand the whole time. Then I find out the only professional person I have experienced here was a taller gentleman named Matthew; I found out from my server he was fired. Wanted to request him and hoping I would say hi. This place could of used someone like that as a manager. I'm never coming or bringing people here ever again. This was not the experience I had in mind. I feel bad for the owner, then again DONT HIRE a bunch of young girls that just stand there. I heard one talk to a employee in such a disrespecting tone. Absolutely unbelievable.

The food is delicious and the service is awesome. Everything I ordered was perfectly seasoned anx full of flavor.Don't forget to order the crispy rice which isn't on the menu. This is one place that lives up to the hype. I was told the Midtown location is the best!

I LOVE Rumi's Kitchen. It's one of both my and my girlfriend's favorite spots for date night. I'm always impressed by the service and the food when we go. Saturday night for us was no different. We gave the Sandy Springs location a shot, since we'd already been to the Alpharetta (Avalon) location, which we love. First, let me talk about the standouts of the night. 1. It was a ZOO in there, and despite my having made the 8:15 reservation at the wrong location (I made it for the DT Atlanta location), the hostess, Paityn, reassured me they'd sit us right down as if we'd reserved at table at Sandy Springs. I was extremely relieved and grateful. The food was FANTASTIC. We got two appetizers -- the yogurt duo (always my go-to) and the dolmeh, which neither of us had had. The duo is always tasty, while the dolmeh may be odd to some, depending on your preference for sourness (it's quite sour for a savory dish). We also got two cocktails, spice mist and Tehran mule. The spice mist was better, in my opinion -- the mule didn't seem super balanced, while the spice mist did and had some spice, strong basil and citrus flavor. For mains, we had the lamb kebab and chicken kebab, with raisin and lentil rice and orange peel, pistachio and pomegranate (I think?) rice, respectively. We loved everything about our main courses. We also had a dessert -- white chocolate cardamom cake -- which we loved. It's not overwhelmingly sweet, comes a sort of strawberry compote and a scoop of ice cream. Perfect for two to share. The lowlight of the night, and the only thing that affected our review negatively was the VOLUME. It may have been the loudest restaurant experience I've had. Very difficult to have engaging conversation. The atmosphere in general is very nice -- it's elegant and nice to look at -- but we didn't consider those elements very much because of the sheer volume.

The food at this Iranian restaurant was disappointing, but Rumi, the Afghan 🇦🇫genius poet, remains an enduring inspiration.

I flew in on business and one of my coworkers took me to dinner.l here and rumis. As an executive chef I am skeptical on food and personally mediterranean food. It was absolutely amaizing. The ambience was perfect. I would recommend this place highly. Good way of representing authentic Persian cuisine.

Alyssa was an outstanding server! She was very attentive and made regularly stops by the table to check on us. She is a Pro! Wasn't expecting dinner prices for lunch. The decision by management to discontinue the lunch menu is unacceptable. Spending $57 for lunch is NOT going to happen again ($50 for lunch, $2 for parking and $5 tip for the parking attendant)!

We went to Rumi’s kitchen with my friend beacause I came from Turkey to visit him. He wants a good date for us and we went Rumis kitchen. However, We did not have any reservation. We came here from 2 hours away to eat something good. The girl who is work for the arrange tables says us “if you wait 45 minutes I can sit you an available table.” We wait almost 50 minutes. They show us a table at the outside! It is incredible! We already sit at the bar. We could order inside the restaurant. How dare you!? We complain about that and the staff behave really rude. I hate this place. I do not suggest anyone.

Dinned at RUMIS for a friends birthday dinner & this restaurant was perfect! The vibe was contemporary & sleek with an upbeat & happy atmosphere. We loved our waitress Kary! The staff was helpful, attentive, & kind and the food was even better. My favorites were the lamb hummusiya, falafal, roasted cauliflower, and shish kabob. This is a popular destination so I suggest making a reservation.

We had a very disappointing experience at Rumi’s Kitchen. Without our permission, they charged our credit card an amount that was three times higher than what we had signed for on the receipt. After checking our credit card statement, we were shocked to see the discrepancy. We called the restaurant, and their manager promised to call and email us with an explanation. The next day, we received a call stating that their accountant was still handling the situation, and they again promised to send an email explaining the reason behind the overcharge. However, we never received that email. A few days later, the excess charges were eventually refunded to our credit card. While the outcome was positive, the overall experience was very poor. As a consumer, it is unsettling to think that without carefully checking our credit card statements, we could have been unfairly charged. The manager’s attitude during the resolution process also left a lot to be desired. We hope their service and management can improve. We strongly encourage everyone to regularly check the credit card statements to avoid similar issues.

If you are lucky enough to get Crystal as your server, you’ll have a divine dining experience! The food was spectacular as always, but it was EXTREMELY noisy in the dining space.

Rumi's continues to be my favorite restaurant in Atlanta.

We travel often to DJ Indian weddings. As soon as we booked another wedding in Atlanta, GA we were on the look out for the best places to eat. Rumi's was recommended by the locals and sounded great. As soon as we landed we headed straight to Rumi's. There are two locations in Atlanta but we choose this one. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really good. The food was excellent. We liked everything we ate and drank. The two highlights were the Soltani Kabob and the Rumi's Old Fashion. I just found out they have locations in DC and Houston and their next location is opening in LA. We will definitely try them again in one of these locations soon. The table service provided was Great. The issue that I have is the poor performance decision by the Manager. Both my Sister and I had the $47 Sea Bass. I received one piece more-3 she received 2. When my sister brought it to the attention of the server, she asked her manager. He said that it went by weight. With a degree in Hotel Management and having owned 2 restaurants ...this WAS a poor decision. It disturbed our special luncheon.

Met a client and sat at the bar for lunch. We both hadn't eaten persian food in a long time so the bartender explained what the garnish dish and seasoning bowl that was brought out prior to our food arriving was for. It was very helpful and the food was incredible. I never knew mint leaves mixed with rice would taste so good. We both agreed it was phenomenal and plan to come back! Great experience

Alyssa was our server and cheerfully explained how everything was prepared and guided us through the many options on the menu. Every detail was thought of. We got our bread, hummus, and tasting plate first. Alyssa described everything on the tasting plate. I ordered the Shish Kabob and added grilled vegetables. My buddy got the lamb shank. Both dishes were very savory and fragrant. We got the Baklava for dessert and Alyssa lit a candle for my buddy's birthday. We both had a great time and we will definitely go again.

Jonathan was an excellent server. His recommendations were great and he entertained our conversation sweetly. Such a lovely human. I would ask for him again, if we’re in that neck of the woods.

I give four stars for service only because we had to wait about 20 minutes for our table, even having a reservation. The wait staff and bartenders, however, are true professionals. Request a table in the very back of the restaurant if you plan on having a conversation without shouting during peak hours.

I had passed on another restaurant because the reservation said outside tables were all that were available. It's August in Georgia; 95 degrees. I am not sitting outside to eat. I reserved dinner for four at Rumi's instead. We arrived at the restaurant and were taken to our table: in the OUTSIDE PATIO. The place was full and there were no other tables available. There was a thermostat on the wall above us that read 89 degrees. I sat through a $475 dinner in 89 degree temps. MISERABLE. They should have absolutely disclosed that the only table(s) available at the time of my reservation were in the non-air conditioned back patio.

We had a long lunch and our server was wonderful snd accommodating. We asked to move to a quieter table and were helped with that. I had the watermelon salad which was refreshing and excellent. The hummus with lamb appetizer was excellent as well. I love the food and will return.

I love everything about roomies except the noise level. When it is crowded, it is very loud and you have to talk a little louder with the people at your table.

Reservation at 8 pm, we had to wait standing in front of the door for nearly one HOUR. Unacceptable. It ruined our experience which might have been good. Very noisy place.

Family gathering for my wife's birthday was an absolute nightmare. From the parking to the incredibly loud restaurant and the worst service I can recall anywhere. Even in the end, the server wouldn't split the check in 2 and I was forced to pay the entire bill for food no one ate. The check was also full of mistakes, and it took forever to get it fixed. I will never return to this horrendous restaurant, and I wonder how they have so many positive reviews.

Great spot for groups and enough gluten free options. Service is great and so is the portion size. However valet is a mess.

Rumi's is a great place for lunch or dinner. I went for lunch with a friend recently and we had a great experience. The food was terrific as always and our server was top-notch. I will be back soon.

The restaurant was incredibly busy but the staff didn’t seemed phased! My food wasn’t what I expected (the rest of my party loved their food) but the service alone made all the difference!! Hands down one of the top restaurants in Atlanta on service!

It was our first time at Rumi’s for my mom’s birthday and the whole experience was a treat! The food was IMPECCABLE and our server was so knowledgeable on the entire menu. The only things to prepare for are the noise level (it’s a little tough to have a conversation) and the wait time, as you may have to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. But overall, amazing experience!

We celebrated 2 birthdays at our table. We received 2 complementary desserts of baklava and vanilla ice cream. Our dinner entrees were delicious, and the service was the best ever.

I lover Middle East food so went to Rumis as heard lots of recommendations, but found the food experience to be ultimately underwhelming. I have no doubt the quality of the ingredients are premium, but the food tasted very average with nothing standing out as particularly special. I left feeling this was more style over taste.

Quality has gone down, overcharged, paid some insane service fee on top of the fees, missing items in my order, order was snot ready on time, they offer nothing for your vegan friend, it seems the food is not made from scratch if they are out of felafels. They promised to reimburse me and I am waiting. 2 meals cost me $117.74. Never would have happened on Ali's watch!

The customer service was phenomenal. All of the food was fresh, well prepared, well seasoned & absolutely delicious. We tried several of the starter dishes including the Watermelon salad, Hummus, Grilled shrimp and Corn ribs. The grilled vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The homemade soda was great (passion fruit) and the Faloude sorbet (vegan option) was delightful!

Fattoush salad is really good. Soltani kabobs are amazing! Chicken kabob is also excellent. Summer, our server, was very attentive and friendly. Noise level is very high so it is difficult to hear others at your table.
