AMAZING!!!! We had the Pad Thai,Yaki Udon,Gyoza, and Bang Bang Shrimp. We tasted the love in everything . We are impressed with everything about this restaurant. Who knew there was this little jewel in Danville ,Virginia . Cheers to the owners.😃

Absolutely Amazing! The Thai tea was to die for and the pad Thai was fresh and oh so spicy.

Where to start? The staff is absolutely wonderful. We were seated immediately and this place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We were greeted and told how they prepare all meals with fresh ingredients at the time the order is placed. We began with the jerk chicken sticks which were accompanied by a delicious sauce. I had the Pad Thai with chicken and medium spice. Absolutely amazing and the portion given…Oh my! Well worth the money. My husband ordered the Spice Up Macaroni (medium spice)with shrimp and loved it. The sweet tea was perfect and then to finish it up we ordered their mouthwatering doughnuts…You will be rocked with the first bite! They are served with ice cream and words don’t do justice. Give them a visit especially if you’ve never eaten Thai food but essentially if you have. You won’t regret it.

We stumbled on this restaurant on our way to the beach, and I'm so glad we did. I was a little hesitant when I saw Asian Fusion in the Rustic Barn setting, but by the end of our meal we asked if they were willing to relocate to our hometown 🙂! The excellent service, fresh ingredients, and beautiful presentation of our made-to-order meals made it feel like a 5 star dining experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing food and amazing service!!!

The Rustic Barn is probably the best food in the Danville area. The Tai Iced Tea was so good and unlike anything I’ve ever had. The crab Rangoon was the best we’ve ever eaten. The won ton was thin and crispy and the filling was fresh and hot and packed full. The curry was amazing, the shrimp was so fresh and the man who served us was the kindest and most attentive I’ve seen in a long time. It was an amazing experience and the best food I’ve had in sooo long.

First time dining in for me and a friend. We love Thai food so we ordered a lot of apps and entrees! Everything was great, you can tell that the ingredients are fresh and the recipes are carefully curated. The customer service was very nice as well, Jeb was very courteous and helpful. I forgot to get a picture of them, but I ordered the Green Curry with beef and Pad Thai with shrimp. Both were delicious and some of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. We both wished we had left room for dessert, we will have to come back to try the Thai Donuts!

Incredible food! My wife and I had Pad Thai, the best we have had since we left South FL 18 yrs ago. The spicyness was perfect, I mean perfect! We live near Raleigh, NC now and will definitely drive an hour and a half to have Thai food this good. Nothing in the triangle can beat the quality of the Rustic Barn. The restaurant is the perfect size and you can have a conversation without yelling across the table. RZ

Phenomenal. The service, the atmosphere, the food! A true diamond, and in the middle of nowhere. We were traveling, buying a farm truck and found this by chance. Total WIN! We will be driving the 90 miles to return.

I normally don't leave reviews, but this place was sooo good I have to give my two cents. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Best green curry I have ever had. There is not much more I can say that has not already been said in the other reviews. I agree with them all. I'm not from Danville but had some business there and happened to run across this place. I was there for a good while and no one else came in. I don't know if that is normal, but if you are from the area then go out out and support this place. You don't know how lucky you are to have such a fantastic tucked-away gem in your area.

Went here at the end of May 2024. Had roasted chicken curry with potatoes and carrots, which we shared. It was sweet, but very delicious. Also had roasted pork bun appetizers, very refreshing. Kind of expensive, but worth it.

Very great experience eating here. I had the Pad Thai as well as the pork buns and both dishes were very flavorful and our service was excellent. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area and would love to eat here again.

Ordered for the first time today . The man that took my order was very nice and made sure my order was right . As I waited he checked on me and apologized for the wait . ( I was early ) . As this was my first time ordering from here I got the bang bang shrimp ..the rustic chicken and the crab Rangoon . All three were delicious. The sauces were good too . A very nice atmosphere and I recommend this place to eat and enjoy .

The food was fantastic and the service was INCREDIBLE. My husband mentioned liking the spring onions on his appetizer, so the server asked the kitchen to add them on top of my husband's entree without us asking. So thoughtful!

We were looking for a new place to try in the area and found Rustic Barn. We seen the awesome reviews and had to try it out. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful! Jiebrae served us and he was great! He gave us advice on what to try. He told us all of their food is fresh and hand cut as they get the orders. We got the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and it was amazing! For our entres we got the hibachi chicken and the pad prik king chicken. Both were phenomenal! You can really taste the freshness in the food. Throught dinner, Jiebrae joked and laughed with us. It was truly a great evening and we will definitely be back!

Stopped on our way to Roanoke from Chapel Hill for a quick dinner. The food was great and the service was excellent. If you like Asian/Thai food it is worth a stop.

The Rustic Barn is such a fantastic addition to the Brosville and Danville area. The atmosphere was calming and refreshing. The decorations were lovely. Most importantly, the customer service was phenomenal! The waiter here is so awesome and I felt like I had a new friend when I left the restaurant! There are many options available for a fine Asian dining experience. I really enjoyed the rice with teriyaki hibachi beef with vegetables. I would definitely recommend this new restaurant to anyone who wants to experience an Asia style dish.

Wow, this place is amazing. We were passing through looking for food and the pizza place was seemingly closed, and we saw a little sign for 'Rustic Barn' across the plaza. The service was incredible and all three of us enjoyed our food. Their green curry is the best I've had in the last 20 years.

This was the biggest surprise for this city guy. I almost gave up on Tai food but that's obviously because it wasn't this good. Everything is very fresh and extremely delicious and the people are extremely attentive. The best meal I've had in a very long time. Tai food is back!

when i tell you this is the highest quality food around, i mean it. i work as a line cook now, and from the presentation to the flavors, 100% i can tell they care. i had the yaki udon chicken and my mom had the hibachi chicken, both amazingly flavorful and complex. the main thing that struck me was the mushrooms! they didn’t have a mud flavor, but was encompassed in their sauce making it an umami bomb! the owner, i presume, was really fun too!! he gave us an explanation and introduction to the foods, their ethics, and was an all around great guy!! he enjoyed my silly little kirby drawings on the bill too lol i can’t gush enough about how tasty and fantastic our meal was, i hope to make a trip back every week!!

A hidden gem! This Resturant is a bit of a drive! But this is not your typical Asian fare! All dishes and appetizers we tried, were of high quality, and deeply superior taste! More of a Japanese style cooking, different from what I was used to, but so satisfying! Rare to say, you still can get what you pay for! Try the jerk chicken, all food was fresh and a tasteful symphony! Owner is a very, nice man! Take a chance on somthing different! Enough said!

Wow we just moved here and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant . Great tasting food made fresh when you order it. They have something for everyone and can customize your order if you don’t see something you want. Food is hot and flavorful. The gentleman that served us was extremely polite and very helpful. We will be back and will be bringing family and friends.

Rustic Barn is AMAZING!!! All the food my partner and I had looked just like the pictures. I can’t put into words how good our food was. All food is made to order by the way and the wait for our food was not long at all. I wish I could give more stars than 5 because 5 stars does not do Rustic Barn justice. Jieb is an amazing host, waiter, and owner!!! The atmosphere was superb as well as the music playing. Jieb has a wonderful taste in music and he is wonderful in general. You better come by, such a secret in Danville that needs to be shared!

I’m a regular here! Everytime I go here, I get excellent service. The owner is very informative of the menu and also everything is freshly made.

I'm just mad I'm only hearing about this place a year later. So so good. Jieb's also plays great music from his own playlist. Can't recommend enough.

The gentleman who served us was extremely kind and helpful, and utterly entertaining! He encouraged us to take our time and ask questions and get “exactly” what we wanted. He offered suggestions and the kitchen was accommodating with spice level and flavors! We shared 5 dishes at our table and 2 appetizers! Every bite was fabulous!! Pad Thai was the best we ever had!

I cannot stress enough on how good this place is! I saw all the wonderful reviews and I was so ready to try it out for myself so my husband and I came here today and was greeted by the owner in a very genuine way. After getting seated, he asked if it was our first time and made sure to briefly go over the menu and he was open to answering any questions. We ended up getting the Roadhouse Chicken with hot spice level and the Beef Yaki Udon with medium spice level. Everything was so flavorful and authentic. You can tell it was made with love! We also had the Tempura Ice Cream for dessert and I wish I got another one but there’s always next time:)

We got crab rangoon to go and it was absolutely phenomenal! My wife is super picky about her crab rangoon too and she said it was the best she's ever had. The people are super nice here too. Highly recommend!

Omg where to start? We couldn't have had a better meal or better overall experience! The food was the best ever….fresh ingredients and cooked to order. The owner is dynamic and genuinely has a passion for what they serve and making the dining experience phenomenal. The vibe/décor is also very cool and well done. My husband and I wanted to go on a drive and came up from Hillsborough to Danville. After reading the reviews online, we decided to make the Rustic Barn are destination. All the reviews are born out. We shared Tom yum soup, fried wontons, the pork dish and green curry tofu, All cooked and presented excellently. I wish I would have asked our servers name, but he took such pride in presenting everything and was very interested in our feedback. I'm thinking he was the owner. He is delightful. We took udon noodles home to our daughter. She said they were very tasty. It seems you can't go wrong here. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We stopped by here on a whim while we were driving through. I checked the reviews online and every one was a five star so we decided to give it a shot. This is my first experience with "asian fusion" food. I ordered the Roadhouse Chicken, I will say that this is hands down without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever tasted. With every bite I discovered something new I loved about the dish. My wife and daughter had the hibachi and loved theirs as well. The thai tea, and bang bang shrimp were phenomenal as well. Everything that we tasted was extemely fresh. The service that we received was amazing and super friendly from the moment we walked through the door. We will definitely be back!!

One of the best places near Danville. The food is amazing and the service is great. You can't pick a bad dish. The staff will take care of you as if you are the only one in the joint, even when there isn't a empty seat in the place. Try it.

Best food I've had in this area in awhile! I took a large family group here on a friend's recommendation and I am so glad we came! Nearly every dish was executed perfectly. The ingredients were clearly very fresh and nothing was overcooked. It's rare that I can say that about a restaurant these days. Service was excellent and they went out of their way to make sure everything was to our liking. Spice levels were customized to our tastes at our request, and even the children in our groups cleaned their plates. We will absolutely be coming back.

First time here with relatives, and the food is authentic and all homemade from scratch. So it takes a little bit more time, but it's well worth the wait! This has to be my new favorite restaurant. I ate here for the first time today and I have never had anything like it. Me and my family loved everything we were served and the gentleman running the place was so courteous. The food was unlike anything I’ve ever had. I feel like Gordon Ramsey would be impressed if he ate there. Will definitely be going back again in the future.

Thia resturant. Small menue but its fantastic. Two folks just making awesome food. Feels like Guy Fieri would have been interested in visiting this place. I have not one bad thing to say about the resturant. They made my dish gluten free for me. Can't recommend it enough. Probably the best Thia place within a couple of hours of Danville. Wonderful visit. Our waiter and waitress were extremely hospitable. If you are looking for a fresh, unique, and delicious meal, look no further. My fiancé took a chance on the spicy mac n cheese and WOW! Cleaned the plate. Love and talent in every plate. I played it safe and got hibachi because I wasn’t feeling adventurous, it was equally as impressive. We are excited for next time!!

This is a real gem hidden in Brosville: the food is the finest I've ever had, from flavor to texture. It's so smooth, complimentary, and fresh; the meat, rice, and vegetables so tender. I don't know much about the owner, (other than he's extremely friendly), but it would not surprise me if he's a chef- the meals are that good. Give this place a try and I think you'll understand... and don't overlook the crab rangoon. Wow.

Just got done having dinner with the family. The owner was extremely nice and our waitress did a really nice job. Food was excellent! We tried 3 different appetizers and a couple entrees and everything was delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to give thai style food a shot.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time! The food and service was incredible! My husband and I can't wait to go back and try some different dishes. Everything we tried was cooked to perfection and the depth of flavor in the dishes is unmatched. We tried the crab rangoons as an appetizer and they were the perfect amount of creaminess and crunch. For the entrees we tried the hibachi chicken and the curry shrimp dish, both made to order and you may choose the spice level on the curry. The portion size of the dishes were good and the flavor experience to die for! We couldn't pass up dessert so we tried the FBI (fried banana ice cream) and some Thai teas, both very delicious. If you are around the Danville, Brosville area, do yourself a favor and check out the Rustic Barn, you won't regret it!

With the possible exception of some fine dining restaurants, this is the cleanest restaurant I have been to in a long, long time. Food is very good, and the service is caring, friendly and complete. 10/10.

Went for a family dinner of 3 generations, we all tried different dishes and all dishes were amazing! We had the Tom Yum Nom soup, Chicken Vegetable soup, a chicken Jerky that was suggested by the kitchen (not on the menu), Roadhouse Chicken, American Fried Rice, chicken Hibachi, and beef Hibachi. We were able to order everything from very low spice (no spice) to hot and then Thai HOT 🔥. We ordered the doughnuts and ice-cream to go for dessert. The staff was great, kind and very friendly. This is a restaurant that should be tried by everyone and one I plan to return very often. In the past 2 weeks I have eaten on 3 continents and this has been the best meal I have enjoyed.

At a loss for words. The service was perfect. the time it took for the food to arrive was very fast, and the server was one of the best. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. The food was also at the perfect temperature and you will want to savor every bite. Everything was reasonably priced as well (2 drinks,1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 desset was $62) Will definitely being coming back time and time again to try everything on the menu. It is very clear from our experience with the chefs and owner that this place cares about food, of which I cannot say about many establishments in Danville. While I most would consider their offerings Asian Fusion, that doesn't take away from how delicious the food was. The owner mentioned that the food was flavorful, and I think by most palettes, that was exactly true. Everything was very well seasoned and balanced. I would easily return again. The care and passion for food is unmatched in this area and in my mind, that makes the experience much more unique and worthwhile!

Wow. I love restaurants that have unique meals and serve something different from all the others. The Rustic Barn has all the country atmosphere you'd want combined with calming light and smooth music. The Asian Fusion entrees are delicious!! The short 10 minute drive from Danville is worth it. The owners couldn't be nicer and the entire evening was pleasant.
