Some of the best sushi I've had! This is a hidden secret. The service was phenomenal and the sushi chef handled my multiple life threatening allergies with care and helped to create safe rolls. The fish was so fresh. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the Moab area!

This place is amazing, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is great and the food the chefs make is incredible. Loved how fresh everything was. We tried the chefs choice roll, where the chef creates something for you and we couldn't be happier. The chefs roll is the one on the larger plate with sauces. We also liked that the chefs take pride in the rolls and take their time making them, if you are looking for something quick this would be the place. I will definitely be going back before leaving Moab.

This is the best sushi restaurant in all of Utah - maybe even the best I have ever had anywhere! The restaurant is a small space on a side street, just off Main Street. They take reservations for half the restaurant and walk-ins for the rest - mind you there are only about 12 tables plus the sushi bar. The hostess and server (owner's right hand she said) were excellent! We ordered the Wagyu Tataki which was presented beautifully and tasted amazing! We also ordered 5 rolls- White Rim (my fav), Castleton, Sunshine (2nd fav), Surf & Turf, and Delicate Arch. The fish was so fresh and melted in your mouth! The flavor combinations where perfect! I highly recommend this place! It was pricey, but well worth it!

We dined at Sabaku Sushi on our last visit to Moab, and tried to order take-out this trip, but the kitchen was too busy to fill the order which I guess is a good thing for the restaurant. We loved our meal on the last visit, which was why we came back, maybe next time. With all that being said, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The sushi is excellent.

We sat at the bar area. We shared several types of sushi. Shrimp tempura was light and crispy. The sauce and rice were really flavorful. Hubby got the maguro nigiri, and he said it was just OK. The fiery furnace was great! The panko crunchies on the outside added great flavor and texture. We ended up ordering a second order of it. The eddie out roll was good, but ended up being too hot for me to finish, so I picked the serrano pepper out of it.

I never thought I would eat sushi in the desert, but Sabaku Sushi is great! Even my friends that come from New York City have to give this place props! You'll find your normal sushi rolls (California roll) and even some unique ones like a surf and turf that occasionally includes elk or venison. The staff is always friendly, even though the place is usually packed (especially during happy hour). Many of the sushi rolls have names inspired by the surrounding area such as the La Sal roll (named for the La Sal Mountains), the Rainbow Bridge roll (for the arch in Lake Powell), the Hidden Valley roll (after a popular hike just south of Moab in Spanish Valley), and the Delicate Arch roll (after the famous Arch that has become an icon for not just Moab, but all of Utah). They have delicious desserts too! Tempura bananas or oreos, mochi, dessert rolls, or even flourless chocolate cake.

Food was Amazing!!! When you first step in you will notice this isn't your average sushi house. They have music playing and all the people making sushi are bearded white guys. But don't let this deter you! Me and my wife agree that this place had the best sushi that ether of us has ever eaten. We set right at the bar which was a great experience due to getting to watch them make everything and as the place calmed down towards closing getting to talk and ask them there suggestions on what to order for our second round of food. It had been a long day of travel so we were both very hungry and together we shared 2 of the specials they had (oysters & swordfish) along with 6 different rolls (Poison spider, spicy scallop, surf & turf, sunshine & 2 different orders of chef choice). Everything was delicious. Overall this is a place everyone tourists or local should grab a bite to eat as you won't be disappointed.

Holy rice vinegar Batman! There was so much vinegar put in the rice, it caused the rice to lose stickiness & crumble apart. It made eating the sushi rolls difficult. In addition, it made the rice taste, well, vinegar-y. That said, the service was excellent. Worth a visit if you fancy sashimi. Maybe avoid anything with rice...

This place was great as a tourist and a local. -food- was phenomenal they gave their own twist on many sushi roll classics and other menu items it was full of flavor and creativity. -service was a little lack luster. I understand that they were busy at the time we went however, there must have been a mix up because we didn't get our app until over an hour and then all our other rolls were staggered even though everything was ordered all at once. So again great place it's just a little rough on timing there were people that came well after us that got rolls and other items way before we did. The atmosphere- was super cute, cozy, warm, and eclectic. Great little sushi place tucked away in the desert.

This place is kind of like a hole in the wall. I heard about it a couple years ago and tried it out. It seemed like they were just starting out so they weren't very organized and I didn't give them the benefit of the doubt. I was referred by one of the chefs about how good it was. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the sushi 🍣 was compared to other sushi restaurants within the area. Chef's choice is definitely the funnest and that is what I order every single time now. It's always a surprise what they're gonna make and each Sue chef makes different types of rolls so it's always a bit of an adventure.

Sushi?! In the middle of the desert! Why yes, some of the best I've ever had. Excellent food and dining experience! As recommended I made reservations and I'm glad I did. The interior is small and intimate, a little dark but clean and welcoming. What makes them stand out? Sabaku flies in fresh fish several times a week. I mean, this stuff is FRESH. And absolutely delicious! We started out with hot Gekkeikan traditional sake ($10.00 for an 8 oz.) that was fantastic. We began our meal with House Salads (mixed greens, tomato, cucumber, carrots + house made ginger dressing, $6.00). The dressing was awesome, you'll love it if you like ginger! I wish I could take some home with me. For rolls, I chose a classic Philly Roll (salmon, avocado, red onion + cream cheese and topped with sesame seeds, $12.00). This was probably the best Philly Roll I have yet to eat. There was just the right amount of cream cheese, and the salmon was so smooth and soft like butter. My husband went for a specialty roll, the Poison Spider (fried soft shell crab, spicy mayo, cucumber + avocado topped with scallops, lemon and sriracha, $18.00). It was beautifully set. I admit the crab claws at the ends were a tad intimidating but it added to the presentation. I helped myself to a couple bites and agreed it was remarkable! I highly recommend stopping in here for fantastic, high quality food for a decent price. I will be back for more!

You will not be disappointed! Milts is a classic roadside burger joint. Deliciously unfancy. But perfectly delicious. Vacationers will say its great with good reason because it is!
