Really good food and the owner is really nice and cares alot about his customers. Also the pizza is larger and cheaper than Hungry Howies right up the road from them. Hungry Howies charges almost $30 for a specialty with minimal toppings total rip off and it's nasty and very poor quality. Trust me So Cal is extremely good! Otherwise you will spend $30 on a pizza at Hungry Howie's that is about equivalent to little caesars.

Have to say this is one of the worst pizza spots I've ever had the privilege to eat at. The dough was under cooked. The wings were ok.

I recently tried this location and was left a bit dissatisfied and disappointed. The pizza was probably one of the worst I’ve had. When I picked up the first slice all the cheese and toppings slid right off. The marinara was so watery it made the pizza doe soggy. Needless to say I did not finish the pizza. Thankfully i ordered the mini pizza so I only wasted $7 bucks. The chicken wings were ok kinda hard to mess those up. The garlic cheese bread was a slice of bread with cheese and garlic nothing to rave about. Service was good. The staff was friendly the food didn’t take too long to come out maybe 15-20 min. The location is an older establishment which gives you that hole in the wall feeling which are normally great spots to eat. Unfortunately this place fell short on the number 1 thing that should be great in their location the pizza

Oh my Lanta, such good pizza. Giant Toasted sub sandwiches. Amazing calzones. Bacon cheese fries are always a good go to. Fried pickles, yummmmm. I hadn't tried this place until today and everything was amazing! The food, was tasty. The service was impeccable, the gals are so nice, and even during a lunch rush they had a big smile on their faces. The atmosphere screamed locals spot, and travelers welcome. Love everything about this place.

Good food and reasonable prices. Really nice portions and lots of selections. We sometimes miss eating dinner there because of their dining room hours that close early some days. They have daily specials.

Honestly I love Sal Cals, but the hospitality sucks, even over the phone trying to order a meal for pick up. #dobetter It's also free to be nice.

Small place that gives a fun atmosphere. Prices are amazing, the portions are huge and honestly one of the best calzones I’ve ever had! Don’t be in a hurry though. They are a smaller staff and busy. Good service but not fast.

Love, love this place! Always excellent fast service, and they greet you with smiling faces! I get the same thing when I go (salad and 3 chicken tenders) and it's always a fresh salad, loaded with yummy veggies. Their chicken is cooked to perfection and they have an array of sauces to choose from. Also, their ranch dressing is amazing! Highly recommend this family owned restaurant- you won't be disappointed!

The food was fine but the silverware was dirty, the men’s bathroom was absolutely filthy, and the waitress with the black hair had a nasty attitude, i would eat the food again but i won’t be dining in anymore.

Visiting from west Virginia and they treated my family really bad. If you are Latino just don't go here there are better places in the area service and food wise. I feel bad for the short girl working there she seemed bullied by her manager and overwhelmed but her manager was also really rude so we didn't tip. Best of luck to you stranger

Staff was very friendly; there's not a lot of choice of good pizza for LaBelle, FL and this mom & pop restaurant offers really good quality/flavor pizza in town. They have a dining room area but unfortunately it is not open everyday. They also offer wine and beer. We ordered takeout (pizza) which was very tasty but have yet to try their other menu items- we will edit this review once we do. The cost was reasonable. Sal-Cal also offers plenty of parking, which is very nice when you are "on the run".

Service very slow. 15 minutes to get drinks after we ordered them. 45 minutes to get food. We used to go there every week until about a 3 months ago. Thought we would see if it changed. Not going back.

Great food and awesome service. Pizza, pasta, antipasto, wings, wine and beer and more. Owners run the daily operations so you get that hands on touch. Along with good prices We go 3 to 4 days a week.

The owner Dan was right there working along with everyone else. You can tell he appreciates his staff and patrons. We HAVE to go every time we are in town.

Purchased a large deluxe pizza and was not impressed by any means. Pizza was so undercooked that not one slice held together. The overwhelming doughy taste overpowered any taste of pizza which was lacking as well. Sauce is horrible and toppings just as bad. For the price one could get 2 Little Caesars pizza's with the same great doughy flavor. Horrible pizza

Lady at the counter was rude, acted like I was bothering her as I ordered a pizza. She messed up my payment by 4 bucks. About 10 mins later i asked about it. The owner had to run my card a second time to make sure he got his 4 bucks. I'm not worried about 4 bucks it's the rude person at the counter. She asked me if I wanted ranch or parm. O guess I should have said no. Dang

Very good 🍕 it's is simular to a NY style with a medium thickness, soft crust. It's juicy and ingredients are tasty. Be aware that Google doesn't have the current pricing or hours.

What a great little pizza place in town. It's super busy because its really good. The time I was in there picking my pizza up I could not believe how evil the people of this town are! The disrespect they provide to the workers was by far worse than Naples area. The way these folks handled the difficult customer's makes this place well worth the wait! This is definitely a 5 star location. The complainers on these reviews definitely lack empathy for having to put up with themselves!

Went to dine in yesterday. Walked in upon walking in the door the people asked us if we were talking out or eating in. Said eat in. Then they said we close at 6. So we had to order something that can be ordered and eaten in less than 50 minutes. So said that's OK we will come back. Met a nice lady on they way out. She said we should have enough time to order and eat a pizza. But didn't want to eat watching our clock. So today went in there a few minutes after 4 p.m. said are you open for dine in. She said we closed the dinning room at 4. So turned around to leave. Then she said we close at 6 p.m. so should have enough time to eat. By then it just not worth figuring out their dinning in policy's. Read a lot of good reviews on their food. But after 2 tries not driving all across town to figure out the dinning room policy.

Visited with five friends four had never eaten here before every one loved their pizzas and calzones. Meals are very reasonable and the service was great. We did have to pry one 78 year old friend away from the pinball machine. Updated 6/3/22 Still good food at a good price.

They have the best sausage I've ever had on a pizza. Sauce was wonderful. Their crust not so great, tough over worked. Tasted like store bought. But they kick out the pizzas. Said 20 minutes got there in 18 and it was coming out of the oven. Will definitely go again.

First time there, great food great staff. I don't know if it was the owner or manager, he was walking around asking people how everything was. I tried the turkey sub it was amazing. The pizza was great and the rolls. You need to try it!!!

Food is always fantastic here. I typically get the pizza but I've had the salads and the wings, never disappointed. The price is reasonable compared to other non chain pizza places. Some other review mentions it's not the cheapest place, that's true if compared to the big chain places. But if you compare to other dine in pizza restaurants (in near by towns) it's reasonable. I live in Alva and driving to LaBelle to get Sal Cals pizza is always preferred to any other pizza place within say a 30 minutes drive. My only complaint is they close early. I often think oh a pizza would be good tonight just to realize they have already closed for the evening.

Wasn't disappointed at all. The rolls are ridiculously soft and tasty. I prefer more garlic though. Also tried their pizza. Welcoming place. There's even 2 pool tables. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair parking and accessibility available.

Sal-Cal is likely the only real hometown pizza establishment to be found in LaBelle, but it is just one of the five or six different options for pizza in a town whose restaurant options are basically pizza, fast food, quick-serve Chinese, or taqueria. Prices run a bit high, and they don't run deals to compete with the chains they compete with, but they don't really need to. Their quality is generally solid, and they brag about the freshness of their toppings and dough for good reason, although whether that is grounds for declaring superiority is questionable because the majority use ingredients that are likely just as fresh. In the end, their taste is decidedly their own. They go for balance of toppings rather than overwhelming quantity. They stand on their quality for their prices unapologetically. Their garlic rolls are a sure bet, and their pizzas have a dough with a very clean flavor and chewy texture. You'll only find hand-tossed, but they do it well. They also offer a variety of pasta and oven-baked sandwiches. The restaurant doesn't really stand on appearances. It looks sort of dated externally and internally, but that's part of its charm. It's the old town pizzeria standing its ground against bigger competitors with deeper pocketbooks. For the money, they might not be the best deal for your dollar, but for quality pizzeria food in LaBelle, they're probably your best bet.

The fried pickles are Perfect and great to eat along with the garlic rolls. Sandwiches are great just havent had the pizza yet.

Hubby and I in the area for a few days and was hungry for pizza... not that fast food Sneezer or the grease Hut ..but the good ole Ma n Pop grandmothers recipe from Italy kinda place.. first time customer, I walk in.. greeted by the cute hostess and as soon as "order for Randy" a man... maybe the owner... says how he compliment the chef and prep staff for this pizza and opens the lid to show a fresh out of da oven pie...num. It was hot, fresh, sauce wasn't bite but tasted like tomatoes and just the right amount of spices. Muwah! Excellent ! Oh this place is getting google marked for our next trip.

Out of town visiting my dad. Craved pizza so we looked this place up and went. It is very good and all the people working there were very friendly! Dad and I loved the place.

Amazing Pizza but randomly they wont answer the phone

We are camping in LaBelle and usually bring plenty of food. This time, though, I had a craving for pizza. We decided to try Sal-Cal and I'm so glad we did. This is absolutely the best pizza we have had in years and years. I can't say enough about the pizza and the fast service. Thank you.🤗

Sal cals pizza is a great place, great pizza, amazing service, and fantastic atmosphere. It's full of nice people and great food, if you are planning a party, family get together, or any of the sorts. It's a great place to get some great food and hang out. I'd give this place more stars if I could. 10/10

My wife and I choose to order pizza for pickup, I called to order and the young lady said you are our last order for the day I asked what time do you guys close? She stated 6 I said its 6:05 and your still gonna take my order? She stated yes sir! That's what we are here for. Not only did they take our order but it was delicious. It was not hurried they made the pizza fresh and it was good and hot when I picked it up. Ty salcal for taking care of your customers, it says alot about your restaurant and your employees.
