We couldn't have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. We were in beautiful country , with amazing wildlife and scenery. Marty was the best guide ever!!

I had a great day yesterday with Kookaburra Rafting on the Salmon River. Great lunch and great rapids. We did however capsize and our guide was terrific and very professional in making sure we were all safe. He had gone through safety procedures at the start of our trip and had told us what to do if the raft were to capsize and we followed those instructions. Fantastic day!

We just completed a wonderful scenic rafting day on the Salmon River. Matt and Adrienne provided an excellent experience from numerous details of the river, area, and wildlife to the lunch and communications for the trip.

We chose this rafting adventure in par with our wedding trip in Salmon- something exciting to do with a good group of friends. Such a good time, they took very good care of us all. There were a few of us who had never been white water rafting before- myself included- and were a bit nervous. When it was all said and done, no reason to be nervous at all- it was so much fun I found myself considering it as a new hobby. Of the two boats we split, the owner was one of our guides down the river. He was both super knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We stopped for lunch midway through and his wife and staff member had prepared a lunch of steak, potatoes, salad, and even cake for everyone. We were blown away by the care put into every detail of our time there. A memory to keep, for sure! We cannot recommend Kookaburra Rafting enough- both for newcomers and experienced goers, we all had a blast. Next time we find ourselves in Salmon, we will be back for sure.

We were very lucky, we had the boat to ourselves! Our guides was able to really teach us a lot about the history of the river, the area and we had a spectacular and action packed ride down the Salmon conquering everything it had to throw at us! This is a company full of amazing, caring, kind, and heartfelt people who are professional, capable, and safety conscious. It shows that they love what they do. The lunch was fresh, refreshing, and delicious. We had an awesome experience and look forward to another soon. Thank you for helping us finish our vacation with a bang!!!

We were recommended this company by another outfitter as the the trip we were looking to do was not accommodated by them. Hands down best thing that could have happened. They did a custom 2 day 1 night trip for us and the guide Charlie was the absolute man! Our shuttle driver and camp help Judd was another one who made the trip that much better. Matt and Adrienne also went above and beyond and gave us recs to camp and explore the night before the trip. All the meals were incredible and the overall experience was phenomenal. 11/10. Will be going back for any other rafting needs we have. Family run business and they take care of you like they were your own.

We had such a great time on our rafting trip with Kookaburra! Marco, our guide, was so fun and knowledgeable! He was so interactive with our kids and made it so fun for them. And the lunch they provided was phenomenal! We loved it all!

We had a fabulous time with Kookaburra rafting on the Salmon River. Charlie was an excellent guide, so personable and told us all about everything along the way. We can’t recommend Kookaburra enough! Matt and Adrienne where really helpful and went above and beyond to make our rafting experience in the early season possible and awesome. We definitely wanna come back in the future.

Had an amazing time. We unfortunately couldn’t whitewater do to adjacent forest fires and they could have easily cancelled on us (since we were the only 2 people who didn’t cancel on them) instead they offered us a scenic and relaxing private trip. It was beautiful. Matt (our guide, owner) was great and incredibly knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. Food was stellar, much of it came out of their greenhouse, they even went out of their way to make a vegan meal for my wife. Hope to be back as soon as possible.

Wow, Kookaburra did not fail to impress! The Salmon Branch of East Idaho Credit Union went on an amazing adventure with Tigra and Paige Saturday July 9th. These ladies are absolute rock stars! Safe, knowledgeable, and fantastic personalities! Complete with great souvenir photos, a brief gold mine tour, and the BEST steak lunch ever!

This was by far the best water rafting day trip we have been on and we have been on several, our guide Paige was AWESOME!!!. The lunch made by Laura and the team was absolutely incredible, it was such a great surprise to get to the lunch area and see steaks being barbequed, fresh salad from their own garden, bread, and a huge baked potato. Not to mention the home made blueberry bread. So very delicious. I highly recommend this company!!!

We have made a July 4th weekend whitewater trip with Kookaburra twice—both times Matt & Adrienne exceeded our expectations. We really enjoy the lovely lunch served at the river’s edge.

Unfortunately, we had two rv tire blow outs on our way to Salmon. We're just trying to settle in for the night - it's a little after 1:00 am - and I knew with the day's events and getting in so late, we'd be pretty much useless on the river tomorrow (today). I had to make the call to cancel our reservation. The person who answered the phone was very kind and understanding. We will reschedule as soon as we're able.

Matt took us out on a lovely scenic float near Salmon. He is a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide who provided a fun half day excursion which I would gladly do again.. I enjoyed our interaction and the scenery along the route, and highly recommend this company…We saw many birds as well as a coyote..

We had a great time on our trip. The weather was questionable at the start but the staff was very accommodating and they made sure that our trip was the best possible. We can't wait for our next adventure with Kookaburra.

We happened to arrive at the tail end of whitewater season and took a leisurely float trip instead. That was fine because it gave our family time to relax and watch for shore birds. Booking a trip was easy and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Great guides, Macie and Drew, know some history, know the water, and were a lot of fun on the river. Had a great trip with my family and would book with them again next time!

Great experience from start to finish. Adrienne was so quick to answer any questions we had she was so happy and pleasant. Marty was our guide he was so knowledgeable and pointed out and found us some wonderful wildlife we would have never noticed. He gave us some great tips for the rest of our journey. The best part.....As we left town he watched for our rig ...so unexpected and waved goodbuy from his porch. It made our day. Now thats 5 Star service...

We thoroughly enjoyed our scenic float trip on the Salmon River. The boat was very comfortable, and our guide, Morgan, was both knowledgeable and entertaining. The box lunch was great, and the folks at Kookaburra were helpful and responsive.

We had such a great experience. I highly recommend these guys, they a very professional and responsive. And the wildlife we have seen! In 2 hours I have seen more bald eagles, than in all my previous life!

Kookabuurra was very professional and friendly. Our guide, Chris, has a great personality and fit right in with our group. He was knowledgeable on our surrounding lawn on the river and off as far as the mountain cliffs. Our lunch was amazing with a steak with grilled onions, baked potato, green salad, French baguette, watermelon and a delicious blueberry cake. I will definitely be calling them for my next trip.

We floated the whitewater section on August 24, 2020 and had a wonderful experience. There were 4 of us, two adults and two children 8 years old. Matt, the guide was great with engaging the kids helping them paddle correctly and teaching them how to read the river. Had a great experience and hope to return soon for an overnight trip. 5 stars for sure!

Matt and Adrienne made the 3 days rafting and camping experience effortless for us. We just showed up and the Matt and Tess took care of the rest on the river. We went as a family of 6 so you can imagine the logistics required. Camping, food, and rafting fun was all provided. Had down time to enjoy fishing, hiking, standup paddle boarding and watching the ever unfolding heavens at night. The kids really didn't want to go but on our drive out of Salmon they said, "that was amazing". Good people and really made.memories for our family. Blessings...

This was the most enjoyable rafting trip we have been on, and we have been on a few really good ones! We loved the variety of rapids; our guide was excellent being knowledgeable, fun to talk to, safe, allowed us to jump in and swim the last stretch to the dock, and professional; we even got to stop near the end and jump off a rock into a safe area in the river!!! The other part of the reservation that was so very enjoyable was the lunch on the side of the river. It was all set up with a fair amount of shade; absolutely delicious; and wonderful staff service and friendly conversation! It was all great!!!! Oh, and we got to stop and see an old gold mine, which was a quick and interesting visit! We plan on going again in a year or two!

Our whitewater trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Matt and Adrienne were personable and attentive. The views on the water were spectacular. We loved getting on the water early and floating without seeing another boat until we docked at the end of the trip. Marty served an outstanding lunch of steak, baked potatoes, salad, and watermelon. It was such a pleasant surprise to be treated to an amazing meal on the banks of the river. It was an A+ experience from start to finish. We would definitely come back!
