What an exceptional experience. The service , food, and experience was outstanding.the staff went above our expectations as they assisted us in celebrating our 8 year olds birthday. The general manager, Mr. Huber, was exceptional and catered to the experience. Thank you all!

This was a fabulous experience from the food, the service and the view. Chef Okan is an incredible chef. My Dover sole with morel mushrooms was to die for. The octopus appetizer was delicious as was the lamb entre. The amuse bouche was a bite of heaven. Our server, Olga, was awesome. She is a wonderful ambassador for the restaurant and the brand. This is our #1 go to restaurant for a predictably outstanding experience.

This was the most exquisite experience I have ever had at a restaurant! We were treated like royalty and the atmosphere, view, food and people were all amazing, from our hostess all the way to the chef!! We celebrated our 40th anniversary with them and they made sure to make it special, all the way down to the special menus that said “Happy 40th Anniversary”! We were wined and dined for 2 full hours with bubbly non alcoholic champagne, artfully prepared appetizers, beautiful coastal drinks, and the most mouth watering lobster I have ever had! The dessert offerings were nothing short of amazing and something we couldn’t miss out on! The food was sublime, the view is unbeatable, and the service was top notch making it the best place around to celebrate a special occasion!

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Chef Okan is incredibly warm and talented. I first met him and his family several years ago when they first arrived from the Ritz Cayman. Salt is more than a restaurant, it’s an experience with a wonderful view. My kids love eating there and ordering every dessert on the menu when we go! A tradition unlike any other, except for the Masters. Every time Salt has created a customer touch point for me, they have seized the opportunity to tell and share a wonderful story and experience. This restaurant does a remarkable job broadcasting its purpose to the world, and we are always down to share that purpose over a wonderful meal with family and friends. We are fortunate to have Chef Okan and our favorite servers nearly every time we go!

The most expensive Chuck E. Cheese on planet earth. Kids everywhere and parents did not care. Exchanged emails with the Maitre D which ghosted my wife and I after we recounted the experience. My impression is that this normal there. I had heard how great it was so definitely underwhelming. The food was good but did not make up for it. Two thumbs down.

wow excellent dining experience. Yes it’s expensive its the Ritz on the beach in a resort… but it really is a fine dining experience for special occations. Great service, fantastic wine selection, food was top of the line.

I wanted to share our awesome experience at this restaurant we visited recently. The service was outstanding! Olga, our waitress, was amazing - super professional, always on top of things, and handling multiple tasks like a pro. She kept us happy, with friendly vibes and a killer smile. Phil, the manager, went all out for our fifth wedding anniversary, popping the top off a champagne bottle with a sword! And get this, they even gave us the top as a keepsake. We scored a great ocean view table, too. The restaurant threw in a few extra goodies, including a menu signed by the whole crew. The food? Oh man, it was fantastic. And the team there? They were all great. Everyone who helped out made sure to wish us a happy anniversary. And a special shoutout to the head chef Okan Kizilbayir for coming out to congratulate us personally. Big thanks to the restaurant for an amazing night and for taking care of us! We'll definitely be back!

We celebrated our anniversary at the Ritz and decided to dine at Salt the last night of our trip. Everything from the amuse-bouche to the last bite of dessert was delicious, and our server Olga was so attentive, giving great recommendations and sharing information throughout our meal. The octopus appetizer is a must, and both the lobster and Dover sole were amazing. We have definitely added Salt to our favorites list and can’t wait to come back!

Tried the Chef's Tasting Menu (amuse-bouche, followed by 5 courses - $250 pp). Every course was extremely delicious and visually appealing.

Salt at Ritz Carlton is a real no kidding five Star restaurant. The food exceeds anything you can imagine if you have never been. The service is the best in the world. The choices on the menu are fantastic. If you like food, being pampered and treated like a King and Queen this is your restaurant. The price is unbelievably reasonable for all of the services you receive at a five star restaurant.

My husband took me here for my birthday for the second time and I could celebrate every single birthday here. The experience is always amazing and the food never disappoints. Amazing restaurant for any occasion. I will always be happy to return.

My husband and I have been going to Salt for years and always loved the restaurant. The last visit was the best yet. Before that, we had not been back since Chef Okan joined the restaurant and Phil took over as GM. Since their addition, the Salt experience has elevated well beyond any of our previous dining experiences. From the caviar presentation, pasta, a wonderfully complex wagyu dish, to my favorite dessert - the Baklava- Chef Okan will keep you coming back for more. We are currently on our way to dine two nights in a row for our Anniversary weekend. Thank you Chef Okan and Phil! We believe this restaurant is on its way to a Michelin star.

Wonderful, romantic, beautiful evening! Enjoyed my first time eating Foie Gras. My date requested that Pan seared, and the Chef accommodated his request. It's very tasty. Wanted to try their caviar, very pleased with his choice. Next time!

OMG, I cannot say enough about this restaurant!! We went for my sister birthday and got the private chef table and it was a set menu by the chef. He came in and explained each dish. Everything was absolutely delicious. What an awesome experience!

I love that you always feel like family here. The Michelin star quality menu is amazing as well as the seamless service, sincerely appreciate that they have a dress code for men but would suggest limiting children in the dining room. Chef Okan and Phil Huber run the best restaurant in Florida, honorable mention to David and Malu.

I just couldn’t justify a $560.00 bill, (per couple), not as a group, with what we ate. Group of (8), eight all went out for food after. No, not obese people. Triathlete and fitness gurus. Just not worth it.

My friend and I enjoyed a great meal with a nice view. We waited a bit after being seated to meet our waiter and the restaurant bought us a drink to say sorry. That was super classy and above and beyond. With service so exceptional, it's a must eat restaurant when in the area. The salt sampler with the warm bread is worth the visit alone!

Great experience. Portion sizes was my only issue. Maybe a tad overpriced for prior equivalent dining experiences.

This was an amazing experience for us. The service was impeccable. Our server Jeff was calm, patient, and knowledgeable about every dish. They were able to accommodate a life threatening food allergy (rare). For appetizers we ordered the octopus which was deliciously prepared and soft, and the the crudo which we had to order again because we wanted more. We also ordered the oysters which we probably could have done without but were still good. For entrees we ordered Dover sole, lobster, beef tenderloin and waygu. All amazing and able to be modified to our dietary restrictions because everything is prepared fresh/made to order. Chocolate dessert was no exception. At the end they took our kids to the kitchen and we met the chef!!! Yes this is pricy but the food and service were so amazing that we all felt that it was worth it!! I obviously haven’t mentioned the fact that they have different salts to go with this amazing freshly cooked bread and hence the name salt. Cannot wait to come back here again! Thank you to all for an amazing Michelin level experience!! I feel qualified to say this as we have dined at most Michelin star restaurants around the world!. Also shout out to pastry chef Christina for putting together a vegan chocolate dessert!

One of the best meals I've ever had. The dover sole and wagyu dishes were perfection. The service was impeccable. Overall attention to detail throughout are what put Salt at another level. Bravo.

Heard great things about this restaurant so decided to stop by and see for myself. It's located in the Ritz-Carlton so you know it's going to be more upscale and the restaurant did not disappoint. Had the salmon app followed by the filet and it was delicious. They also a great wine and cocktail list. A must go if you're in the area.

I recently stayed at the hotel and came here for dinner with my family, and it was spectacular. Matthew was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. The hamachi was a standout and the lamb and wagyu were delicious. Don’t forget to get the soufflé! It’s well worth the visit for the food and the service.

Everything was delicious. Food and service were outstanding. We stayed at the hotel for a week. After our experience the first time we decided to come back two nights later and we were lucky to be able to find a table. They had live music even on a Wednesday. Food melts in your mouth and they cater to you. We brought our 3 year old daughter and she enjoyed every bit of her meal. Come to this place you won’t be disappointed

Went here for my first anniversary and we experienced the best service in our lives. It was also the first time I ever truly had an elevated culinary experience. Definitely try the chef experience if you can. I cannot recommend Salt enough.

Absolute perfection. A little chilly in July and wife was quickly offered a clean, beautiful branded pashmina from our perfect Eastern European waitress. Everything SUPER.

An experience worth every penny.

The service was excellent and the food for $350 for two people was mediocre at best. We were very disappointed. The best thing we ate was the salt and olive oil. The bread was terrible. The lamb and Baklava desert was good hut not excellent. Everything else was over cooked, lacked flavor and underwhelming.

Everything from beginning to end was great. No hassle valet. Quick attentive bar service before dinner. Our main server, Olga, was patient attentive always available without being intrusive. The complimentary staff were similarly pleasant attentive without being overbearing. Every dish was cooked and presented to perfection: octopus, fois gras, filet, lamb, grand markier soufflé. And the salt… delicious.

We went for our 11th year anniversary and all the staff made us feel extra special. The cocktail drinks were 10/10, the smoked old fashion🔥🔥. The food taste is emaculant, if your looking for quality, but quantity it will leave you desiring more.

The last chef was way better. Half the menu for twice the price.

Second time eating here…food was really good. The tagliatelle was so tasty and the halibut was phenomenal. Drinks were on point and our server Haydin was great us and really made our evening.

In March, I hosted a series of client dinners at Salt in the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island, 5 nights in a row. Our experience was absolutely incredible each evening. The service was impeccable, the servers, the serving assistants, the bartenders, etc. Everyone showed up with the most professional and luxurious customer service, setting the model for what a restaurant experience should be in fine dining. The food! Every meal, every dish, every bite was divine. Not one misstep, the portions, the flavors, the menu balance, the drinks - it was truly a luxury and honor to dine at Salt. The chef came out and greeted our party one night and was so charming and humble, we loved the chance to say hello. And lastly, the head of the restaurant, Phil Huber - what a gem! He helped me every single step of the way, showing so much patience, collaboration and class. He went above and beyond for me and our company of guests each night, and truly made our stay during such a packed week (Amelia Car Show) so easy and a real joy. Will be coming back time and time again to wow and impress our clients and friends. Top notch!

Wish I could give 10 stars!! Good food, good people, fun times. It’s pricey! I ordered the wagyu ($95) medium temperature And Man! Was it extraordinary! My date ordered the lobster ($125)- it came without a shell and already cut into bite size pieces- DELICIOUS! There was live music that made me feel happy. The service was super! I WILL RETURN! We LOVE Amelia Island! The only downside is the portion size of the side items. They literally gave me a spoonful of spinach! But who cares!?!? This place is worth its weight in “Salt”.

A remarkable experience and wonderful affair! Our party is a bunch of close friends and the kitchen helped us arrange a mix and match of different entrees for us all to share. The service staff was quite adept and professional, and the chef spoiled (and surprised) us with additional special tastes made just for us. The ambience and atmosphere were spectacular, adding to our friendly gathering without distracting from it. The live music was engaging and the guitarist, Taylor Roberts, was a riot. He is so talented, and there were a few times our party perked up and looked at each other saying, “Wait, is he really playing….?” Food, service, atmosphere, all noteworthy… no reason to leave “salty..”

Stacey & Kyle, our servers, were wonderful. And we always enjoy hearing Taylor Roberts on the guitar. Tonight he did a fun rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody! As always, all of our food was delicious! I highly recommend the Raspberry mocktail if it’s in season. Very light and summery. Me and my step-son shared the Red Snapper & Halibut. The Halibut tasted like the sauce, which was very good but the fish itself didn’t have much flavor. The Snapper tasted almost like chicken! I’ve heard people say that some fish can taste like chicken but I’ve never experienced it myself before. The desserts were amazing- I really enjoyed my mousse covered in chocolate. I was told the ice cream was caramel (made in house!), but I wonder if they switched it out tonight, because I swear it tasted exactly like a Ferrero Rocher. My favorite dish was the pasta appetizer. If it’s available next time, I’m ordering that as my main dish! It was smothered in truffle butter and oh, it was so good!

We visited for a pre-dinner cocktail. Our dinner was offsite. The bulleit rye the cocktail is strong, I could not drink it and changed my drink order. We visited at 6pm in June and the outside sun comes in brightly through the glass windows - this offers a gorgeous beachside view but the lighting inside greatly contrasts with the exterior sunlight. It’s hard to get good photos and it’s hard to enjoy the ambiance with such a stark contrast. A lighting designer may be able to assist so that from the front door entrance, the experience is a smooth transition from the bar to the dining area.

A real culinary experience. Special occasion-worthy dining. Great thoughtful dishes and drinks. Surrender to the chefs and servers and enjoy.

Ate here tonight for the first time. I must say, this is actually one of the best experiences I’ve had in a restaurant and the food was more then delicious. The staff was perfect , attentive , kind and always responsive. I’ll never forget this experience. Thank you so much !!!

We had a lovely dinner while away on vacation. We were seated at a perfect table by the windows overlooking the beach. When they call to confirm the reservation, they ask if its a special occasion and customize your menu and everyone we spoke with congratulated us, which was a very personal touch. Our servers Matt and Malu were both amazing and very attentive. Due to some dietary restrictions, we wound up going a la carte vs the tasting menu. We started with the salad and the skate, the salad was good, but nothing special. The skate was delicious and the butternut squash broth served with it table side was amazing. They also bring you bread, butter, and a number of different salts to try - all were delicious, but our favorite salt was the black garlic! For mains - we got the tenderloin and the halibut. If you are a slow eater or like to space things out, tell them - otherwise it seemed like courses were timed to be one after another. When the entrees arrived my steak was well done vs medium rare, and Matt immediately came to apologize and take it back to refire. My husband and I shared the halibut and it was DELICIOUS - best dish of the night for sure. The manager Phil was very nice and came over to apologize and he was very gracious. The steak came out perfectly cooked the second time and both Matt and Phil came to make sure everything was good. For dessert, hands down get the soufflé! It was banana bread like delicious goodness. Matt also brought over some little sweet bites for us to take with us along with some of our favorite salt to take home. They were so apologetic about the steak and graciously took some items off of our bill without us saying a thing. It was a very enjoyable evening and the staff were all top notch! Highly recommend Matt and Malu!

This is, I believe, my third review of my favorite restaurant here on gorgeous Amelia Island. My overarching assessment of this venue remains intact ! Whether it is the decor or the seascape , one feels drawn to the past..the captains, waitstaff gliding by in a choreography of restaurants of yore. The bread and butter welcoming has me harken back to my life in Europe, my youth...a touch missing on the business models of today. The ingredients they procure don't fall off the back of a Sysco foodservice eighteen wheeler ! Thoughtfully sourced and save not serving Wagyu as their beef, my family and I loved all 5 courses and the lovely ladies,( just wish they stop wearing the Democrat Face Diaper, so inane !), all performed well as was reflected in the gratuity. Vita brevis, take your loved ones to the best restaurant on Amelia and enjoy this brief interlude, called Life !

Absolutely love this place. We had Haydar the first time we were here and the second time when we brought a friend. He’s so kind, makes the experience fantastic, and remembered us from the last time we were here, which we were very surprised because it was almost a year later! The food… phenomenal. We will always come here when we are in the area.

If I could give 6 stars I would. The nicest restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of dining. Beyond outstanding service. No shorts for the men! From the mushroom shots to the salt samples of different taste and a gift of pink salt at the end. Thoroughly enjoyed Salt. In a word...divine.

Great food and even better staff. My wife brought me here for my birthday and we did the chefs table tasting menu. I would highly recommend because a tasting menu is always the best dining experience to get a feel for the true taste of the food in my opinion. Chef Okan did a phenomenal, our servers Matthew & Alicia were amazing as well as the rest of the staff. My favorite other than the customer service was probably the baklava which isn’t on the normal menu but something I definitely think they should add and keep. I look forward to visiting again when my wife and I are in town.

Just in town one night but found this amazing restaurant. This chef is so talented. The octopus was amazing and the scallops took me back to Spain! So much talent and unique flavors! The service was 5 stars from start to finish. Thank you so much for a fabulous evening. We will be back!

Salt is the best fine dine experience I have had in my life, huge thanks to incredible chef Okan. This is a place where you (at least myself) can live through how dining can go above and beyond eating to a gastronomic indulgence and cultural festivity level. Caviar, steak, wine pairing and different seafood options, all was amazing!

Don’t walk, run. My best friend and I are visiting Amelia Island for our first girls weekend after being friends for 5 years. We went to Salt our first night in. We did the chef’s tasting menu. Everything was INCREDIBLE. Jeff was our server and he was the absolute best. The portions are great, we left stuffed. There is so much detail and thought put into each and every dish. You can taste every component on every dish with a variety of flavors. We loved it so much we actually canceled our dinner reservation at another restaurant our second night in and went back to Salt. Jeff was finishing his shift when we arrived so he made sure to stay long enough to seat us and make sure we were taken care of. Matt stepped in on our second night and was equally as wonderful as Jeff. We did alacart the second night and there was no surprise that everything again was amazing. Please go and have this experience of fine fining and exceptional service. You won’t be disappointed.

For our 10 Year Anniversary, my wife and I made a reservation for the Chef's Table. It was a wonderful experience. We had a blast speaking with the head chef and several of the other chefs. I got to go out into the kitchen and ask the chef questions and it made the whole experience so unique. We ended up with 7+ courses and each one was delicious and thoughtfully crafted. The chef took our dietary requests into consideration and went above and beyond to create the perfect menu experience. This is a bucket-list experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable evening.
