Music bingo in the wine cellar on Wednesday night is a lot of fun! Great beverage selection and food is delicious.

Spent two nights as a guest for a wedding. Friday night reception was great; good food, essential items from bar, very attentive but not intrusive wait staff. Two blocks from quaint, unique small Main Street with shopping, food, and small railroad museum. Breakfast was sufficient to get you started with your day.

We highly recommend The Saluda Inn for your next getaway to beautiful the mountains. The ambiance, décor, and customer service are exceptional. The owners are very personable, friendly and are excellent hosts. The property is designed to host receptions, weddings, and reunions. Breakfast is included and is delicious- variety of breads, pastries, fresh fruit, omelets, bacon and yogurts. We look forward to our next visit to The Saluda Inn.

We had such an incredible and romantic getaway at the Saluda Inn! The short drive from Greenville, SC was only 45 minutes, and we felt transported to a different world. The team at the Inn was so welcoming, starting with Thomas who greeted us with a glass of sparkling wine and a tour. We loved spending time in the wine cellar and relaxing by the fire. The town of Saluda is incredibly charming, and we were lucky enough to attend the Saluda Art Festival and also explored Hendersonville for lunch. Make sure to ask Joel and Jay about the Inn's history, it's a truly incredible transformation!

The Saluda Inn is one of the most special and (dare I say) magical Inns I have ever visited. The warmth of the Innkeepers is something that simply can't be taught. I have stayed at many wonderful Inn's over the years (check my other reviews), and the Saluda Inn takes service and hospitality to the next level. I can't wait to plan my next visit to NC just to have an excuse to stay at the Saluda Inn!

My wife and I enjoyed our time at The Saluda Inn. We booked online, which was easy and quick, but had a few questions that the helpful staff answered over the phone right away. The house, common rooms, and our room were clean and lacking nothing. Thankfully the beds were great, not worn (as you often find in B and Bs), and the provided breakfast had many options. All staff and hosts were welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice place to spend some time and make memories in Saluda.

The perfect getaway for an anniversary and birthday celebration! We were immediately welcomed by a friendly staff member, Beth, who greeted us with a celebratory glass of champagne and gave us a fun tour of the historical inn. The inn is filled with unique artwork and thoughtfully curated interior design by the owners themselves. We especially enjoyed the wine cellar at the inn on the first night of our stay, amazing food and drinks and a fun night roasting s’mores by the cozy fire pit. Many fun activities are in driving distance of the inn. Owners Joel and Jay were extremely kind and made sure we had proper reservations and information on our weekend activities. We will definitely be returning soon!

My company hosted its annual planning retreat this past week with the Saluda Inn. The entire team did a remarkable job of making us feel like we were in the comforts of home. The food service was excellent and the accommodations were spectacular. Great job to the Inn keepers for this preservation in the heart of Saluda!

Our experience at the Inn far exceeded our expectations. The hospitality of the innkeepers and staff was perfect...not too attentive to allow us our privacy, but always available to help. The Inn is decorated in a casual, elegant style that appeals to our aesthetic. The breakfast bar was plentiful and delicious and the afternoon cocktail spread hit the spot. Our suite was great for 2 couples and we enjoyed the ability to relax in our sitting area. We will definitely return!

Yes, the renovations to The Saluda Inn are GORGEOUS, but what MAKES the place are the owners Jay & Joel. As soon as you meet them you just want them to be your real life best friends, not just the wonderful hosts of your vacation! Your stay here is so personalized & they have a wonderful staff, Beth & Valerie, as well as others, who will literally do ANYTHING at all to make your stay perfect. I can not say enough about how wonderful this place & these people are. <3

This Inn is a true gem. What a large restoration project Joel and Jay took on with this property…and they did it proud. Each room is uniquely decorated but all have beautiful finishes. The beds are cozy and I slept very well. Breakfast was yummy and had a great variety of offerings. Thomas, Beth and Charla went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I can’t think of 1 thing I would change.

Words can’t describe our wonderful weekend at The Saluda Inn! Our daughter’s wedding was absolutely perfect, and the credit goes to Joel, Jay, Beth, Donna, and the rest of the staff. We were treated like family from the moment we walked in! We rented the entire Inn for the weekend, and I can honestly say I didn’t have to do one single thing except enjoy the festivities! I was the most relaxed Mother of the Bride ever! The Inn itself is beautiful! The rooms were inviting, comfortable, and clean. Our room was one of the suites, and I loved drinking coffee and looking out over the lawn every morning. Since it was a small wedding, our families enjoyed the wine cellar in the evening, and especially the fire pit where we could all just spend time together and relax. We also had our seated dinner after the wedding in the wine cellar. The buffet breakfast in the sunroom was also a big hit! Fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, and hot biscuits were served each morning. Obviously I can’t say enough about The Saluda Inn except that I highly recommend it!

If I could give The Saluda Inn a 100000/10 I would! My parents got married here last weekend and it was like a dream. I’ve never been anywhere so uniquely and tastefully decorated. The staff, Thomas, Beth, and of course, Jay and Joel were the sweetest. They all went out of their way to be so welcoming, accommodating and overall just fantastic. I will 100% be back, hopefully soon! They truly went above and beyond, and I will ALWAYS remember this INCREDIBLE experience. ❤️

I spent this last weekend at The Saluda Inn for my wedding weekend. I do not have the words to explain how perfect it was. Joel, Jay, Beth, and everyone at the Inn were so easy to work with and helped make our weekend so magical. The Inn alone is such a beautiful place. Walking distance from the Main Street in Saluda and every room and space at the Inn pieced together perfectly. It is an exquisite place. But what everyone at the Inn created for us for this past weekend was so much more perfect than I could have imaged. Every single one of my guests were blown away by the Inn and their experience. I cannot wait to come back! 💕

My sister chose The Saluda Inn for her wedding weekend and it was all around a fabulous stay and experience! The Inn was lovely, clean, so fun and well decorated! The owners were extremely kind and welcoming. When first touring, we loved all the rooms and spaces. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s a gorgeous wine cellar, and great outdoor space with a perfect fire pit. We loved that a park and several restaurants were all in walking distance. We hope we get the chance to go back!

I only have positive things to say about The Saluda Inn! My husband and I had planned a getaway for our 9th wedding anniversary and had arrived at a different hotel that was not nice - no A/C, etc. I booked The Saluda Inn online Friday night at midnight to check-in Saturday afternoon. I got a call Saturday morning that the room I booked online wasn't available because a couple had decided to extend their stay but that they would be upgrading us to The Presidential Suite at the same rate of the room we originally booked. We were so excited! Upon check-in, we were greeted with a glass of cold cava and given a tour of the house. It has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. You can tell that the owners personally care about the property and the guests. The suite was spacious, clean and so comfortably decorated. We had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. We didn't even venture out of Saluda. It's a 5-10 minute walk down the road to main street with delicious restaurants and fun shops. When we weren't eating or sleeping, we sat in chairs outside on the Inn's lawn to read, people watch or just relax. It was quiet and peaceful. Don't miss out on the candles that the Inn sells either - we came home with one and it smells great. We'll definitely be back!

Do yourself a favor: stop reading reviews, and book your stay! Walkable to all of the shopping and dining that Saluda has to offer, The Saluda Inn is a sophisticated piece of relaxation. We booked The Saluda Inn as a celebratory birthday weekend away. We had the best time! The Inn and its staff exceeded all of our expectations and made for a memorable weekend! From the moment that the sun filters through the leaves and leaded glass to dance in your morning coffee, to the last sip of wine with new friends around the fire pit, you’ll feel right at home. We will absolutely be back!

This place is a gem! As cyclists, this beautifully restored inn is the perfect place to ride in the mountains. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the close proximity to town so we could walk to lunch, shopping, ice cream or dinner. The accomodations are stunning and the hospitality was first class. We look forward to visiting again and will recommend it to friends.

The Saluda Inn is a home away from home. My wife and I had one of the best nights we had in a long time. We were welcomed with some Spanish Cava. We were given the tour and story behind the Inn. The service was perfect and the rooms were gorgeous. Its a short walk to the cute town of Saluda where we enjoyed dinner. We came back and sat outside by the fire. We couldnt have asked for a better stay and a first class experience. I would recommend the Saluda Inn to anyone!

As my father would have said, The Saluda Inn is “first class”! From the linens to the decor, everything is beautifully executed. Joel, Jay and staff have created a wonderful, peaceful oasis in a quaint town. Dinner at the Purple Onion was great and coffee at the Wakey Monkey was awesome! Look forward to our next visit.

First off I want to say it is very rare that I leave 5 star reviews but The Saluda Inn deserves every one of them. From the beginning to end of our trip every moment felt genuine and intentional from the staff. If you stay please ask for Beth or Jennifer. I can't speak more highly of these two who made my wife and I feel very welcome. The design put in from the owners Joel and Jay will keep you captivated from room to room. We loved every moment of our stay and if I could rate this place higher I would.

The Saluda Inn strikes the perfect balance. It is remote, providing simplicity and calm yet close enough to shopping and dining in town or nearby towns. Joel and Jay, along with other staff members were attentive and engaging yet not intrusive or tiring. The inn is an experience, a destination, not just a place to stay. It is the only place out of all of our travels that we intend to return again and again.

I was fortunate to see Joel and Jay work on this amazing project from early on and to now see the final product..Wow! The hotel is not for everyone but it is for ANYONE that’s looking for perfect, unique, curated, tasteful, personal and cool cool cool in a hotel experience. I’ll be back again and again.

What a show stopper! This historic inn has been up fitted to become one of the most beautiful inns in the country. The decor is spectacular and the customer service is second to none. Everything during our stay was considered: Hors d’ouevres and drinks in the cellar, breakfast in the sunny breakfast room, and s’mores and wine by the fire pit. We went with a group of friends, and ate already planning our next visit.

We attended a friend’s birthday party held at the Inn last night. It is a beautiful, cozy, cool place to stay. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The evening was chilly so they started a fire in the fire pit and brought out marshmallows for us to toast. We loved our room: cool contemporary with a lot of care taken in the design and finishing touches. The bed was exquisite and the whole inn immaculately clean. Breakfast was wonderful as well! Can’t wait to go back!

From the moment I stepped onto the property - I felt true hospitality and welcomed into a peaceful and brilliantly designed historical landmark. The owners did an exquisite job with preserving the old, and complementing it with antiques, luxurious new fabrics, and art. A warm and inviting place surrounded by nature, the best linens and pillows, contemporary sleek bathrooms, quiet and dark (at night) rooms with incredible kitchen appliances. A delicious breakfast and super welcoming team. We will be back!

What a great job Jay and associates have done with the Inn. If you are looking for an Adult only hotel in a quiet and beautiful location this is a great spot. Saluda is a neat little town and is surrounded by so many other towns to check out with in an hours drive.

We had a wonderful time in the lovely, recently restored, Inn. Staff and owners were very engaging at all times. Many of the improvements and enhancements to the rooms and building grounds are well thought out and will give you ideas to think on. The Inn is well located, near other cities and attractions, but also a quite serene and calming environment. Certainly returning.

Can't say enough good things about the Inn and the whole staff. Joel and Jay have truly created a gem in Western NC, and anybody looking for a quiet mountain getaway should look no further. Cozy rooms. Lovely décor. Thoughtful amenities. This place has it all. The staff to a great job and making you feel welcome and can recommend activities (highly recommend hitting Marked Tree Winery and The Gorge Zipline experience) or dining (pizza night at Wildflour bakery in Saluda, or head over to Postero in Hendersonville for some great modern Southern fare). Will definitely return often. This place is a treasure.

We stayed at The Saluda Inn last night for a lovely weekend with family. The Inn is gorgeous and the owners and manager made sure every need was met. They have truly thought of everything to make a truly luxurious experience. Beds were extremely comfortable and rooms well appointed. We spent the evening playing board games in the lobby and chatting with other guests. We absolutely cannot wait to come back.

The Saluda Inn is spectacular! My husband and I spent 3 evenings in this beautiful decorated Inn. The hosts Joel and Jay are so warm and welcoming. The GM Beth and her staff made our stay perfect. We travel to Inn’s and B&B’s all over the country and Saluda Inn is by far our favorite!

My husband and I stayed at The Saluda Inn this past weekend for our anniversary. We were immediately greeted by Thomas, who led us into the beautifully decorated lobby area that has a charming balance of modern design while honoring the original structure of the inn. Our room was gorgeous, cozy, and had a breathtaking view of the terrace and mountains. We were well taken care of and enjoyed visiting some restaurants, both in Saluda and in surrounding towns, that were recommended by Thomas and Beth. Jay and Joel, the owners, gave us some insight in to the inn, what shops to explore on Main Street, and made us feel very welcome. The amount of love they poured into The Saluda Inn is obvious even as you walk through the grounds and see Joel’s design and Jay’s artwork touching every inch. Talking to them, it was also apparent just how much they genuinely love Saluda and the community. We will absolutely be visiting The Saluda Inn again and look forward to the grand opening of the wine cellar. Our next visit will also be to check back in with the amazing staff. We truly left feeling that we had been cared for as if we were family or old friends. A Saluda, NC gem.

Amazing hosts, amazing Inn, amazing location. My highest recommendation –from a traveler who's been lucky to travel all over the globe. The Saluda Inn is exceptional in every way. The Inn is set at the edge of a small valley with a stunning view out their breakfast/sunroom towards Judd's Peak. It's just a short walk (5mins) to town with access to many dining, shopping, and other Saluda businesses. Great for runners, bikers, and hikers. But if you prefer a tranquil moment and afternoon drink, this place is for you. The Inn itself is a tastefully appointed mix of old and modern, which adds to its stimulating but relaxed vibe. Look no further and book here, you'll be glad you did!

The Saluda Inn is a fantastic mix of decor, from interesting older and unique pieces to fun modern design that turns this historic inn into the most warm and inviting atmospheres to relax in. You can see the amazing talents of Joel and Jay in every inch of the Inn. Each room is decorated so differently and beautifully, which will make it exciting every time you visit the Inn. I stayed in the Penthouse, which was so beautiful, private, spacious and had a great view of the manicured grounds and mountains. The beds are so comfortable and I had such a restful stay. We loved visiting with other guests over charcuterie and cocktails in the evening and had a wonderful breakfast spread in the morning. Lots of shopping and walking trails nearby. If you want a fantastic experience, book a stay. I plan to come back with friends since it is such an intimate and special place to enjoy.

The renovation of this historic landmark is absolutely perfection! The artistic talent and hard work and dedication to saving this historic landmark shows in every aspect and detail throughout. The owners, Joel and Jay could not be more attentive catering to our every whim and need. Two days here was not enough. We will be back soon and very often!

From the second you open the front door at The Saluda Inn you are greeted with exceptional service. It’s hard to even check in because immediately your eyes go to the amazing decor and art work! Once you do sit at the checkin desk and handed the key (which has the coolest branded keychain) you’re also spoiled with a glass of bubbles. From the amazing details, the lovely staff, the awesome breakfast, and curated drinks this Inn does not disappoint. The staff is so knowledgeable about the history and so accommodating of your every need. We explored the town, a hiking tail, a winery, and an amazing dinner in Hendersonville just a short ride away. I can not wait to go back. Thank you to the staff for an incredible Anniversary weekend 💗

We felt like we hit the jackpot by staying here mere days after its grand reopening! The owners did an amazing job bringing the historic Inn back to life with such flare and attention to detail. Jay, Joel, Beth and Valerie made sure that everything about our experience was perfect, from the glass of champagne when we first arrived to the delicious breakfast spread in the morning. We loved that we were able to easily walk into town to shop and enjoy dinner and live music. We can't wait to visit again!

This is as transparent and honest of a review as I can write. I don’t write reviews often, but want people to know that the newly restored Saluda Inn is wonderful. My wife and I have watched the restoration process from beginning to end, and the talent, attention to detail and heart that was put into this National Historic landmark is truly incredible. This new chapter in it’s story will be something anyone who visits will look back on and be glad they were a part of. The design is beautiful, and the atmosphere is both true to it’s history and modern enough for those who want an elegant experience. There are good restaurants nearby, beautiful waterfalls only a few minutes away and high end winery experiences to explore. The management cares deeply about the customer experience and wants each guest to have a memorable visit. We certainly did and left knowing we would return as soon as we could. This is an unexpected and unique gem in a charming mountain town. Just go and enjoy it, you’ll be glad you did.
