Amazing place with HUGE sandwiches. I thought at first by seeing the photos online that they looked like normal/small sandwiches but boy was I wrong. They give you quality meat and cheese with THICK slices. This place is seriously a gem and I would highly recommend anyone go here at least once to try it out. Just check their hours because they’re only open for lunch most times.

Fun decor, delicious sandwiches, and great service! We ordered a bowl of chili, the Poor Boy, Club Sandwich, The Californian, and The Florentine and enjoyed all of them. Brought our dog and the owner even gave us a water bowl. Would highly recommend if stopping by!

Sandwiches, Fantastic! Easy on/off HWY 5, Sandwiches stacked with meat and they wrap each slice individually, and most of all Honestly. We got to our secret picnic spot 35 minutes away when we realized my wife left her wallet. Owner kept it safe till we returned. This will be our mandatory stop when passing through Redding.

Freshly made sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Very friendly atmosphere. It was nice to find a spot like this while on a long car drive.

Amazing service, they are so welcoming and kind, and clearly love what they do. Plus they make delicious sandwiches that are definitely worth the price! My parents have gone to the Sandwichery for as long as I can remember, and not once have they ever had any complaints (besides maybe that their sandwich was so big they couldn't finish it!)

I really enjoyed the Turkey Sandwich, I came with a lot of meat. Very fast service. It was ready within minutes of ordering. I also enjoyed the owner of the place who made the sandwich, a very kind person. It's definitely a great place to come for lunch when in Redding.

The Reuben sandwich on rye is awesome. Plus there is a selection of pickled peppers to spice it up. 100% recommended

Good sandwiches with thick meat and cheese slices. Definitely don’t skimp out on the ingredients. Owners are pretty nice as well and they cut all the items to order. Decent pricing, if you get the soup don’t get the cup, get the bowl for just a $1 more.

Good sandwiches, homely atmosphere and great staff. It can be difficult to find nearby parking, but it's well worth the walk to try out this little mom and pop deli.

Had not visited this place and probably 20 years. Genuinely not much has changed including the old sign boards that have the yellow tint of the mid '80s. Handcrafted sandwiches and you know what you're going to get.

Never knew this hidden gem was in Redding. Top quality meats, clean establishment, great ownership since the 1980's, friendly laid back husband/wife run the place, lots of cool stuff to look at. A half of sandwich was more filling than a foot long at Subway!

A bit pricey but well worth it. The owners Rock! Try the homemade Oatmeal Raison cookies, The Best! Be sure to meet the baker if you can. Great experience. Get there before 2PM.

My late husband and I had eaten at The Sandwichery nearly since they opened. Pat and Sandy have been there for over 30 years and there are many “regulars” who have been loyal to them for most of those years! Best Sandwich shop in town!

This is the second time our office has ordered from here. We got 12-14 custom sandwiches each time. All orders were correct, no mistakes. Individually wrapped and bagged with names on the bags. Very fresh ingredients. Generous portions. Reasonable prices. Courteous and prompt service.

Stopped here on our way north from San Francisco. Really nice family owned place with a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Healthy portions, good combinations and toppings, wide selection, and really tasty food.

This place is honestly amazing, I went in and first things first I loved the atmosphere of home. The owners were so lovely and really welcoming. I’ve been wanting to go for a while and I’m really really glad I did. Being from a different country it’s hard to find food that makes you feel like your back home. Will most definitely visit again and bring my friends! Tuna Sandwich is amazing! Best service. 5 Stars!

I have been going to this sandwich shop for over 20 years and I have never once been disappointed and the quality of their food. My favorite sandwich is the Club San. The pastrami, bacon and turkey and fresh tomatoes on toasted sourdough is absolutely amazing!

Great fresh sandwiches and friendly folks! Highly recommend. Happy we stopped here on our road trip to Oregon.

Perfect little mom & pop sandwich shop. Big portions, the gentleman is so prompt at getting your food ordered and out to you! And is constantly checking to see if you need anything or to clean up when your finished. They both are so friendly & warm. I also know I can come in on my 30min lunch break and can get my food on time! Highly recommend.

This has been my second time coming to this establishment. Great owners. I had the homemade chicken and rice soup they make there and a side salad. The soup tasted like my grandmother's and it just honestly made my day. Highly recommend.

I had a great salad with tuna for one meal and delicious chicken and rice soup for another. Service was excellent and there are tables outside seasonally. Parking right in back. A great place for lunch.

This couple have been serving fantastic sandwiches for decades with great personal and warm service and the multiple repeat customers (friends) love them. Daily specials are available but I love Pat's chicken salad on Thursday!

We stumbled in at 2pm, closing time. Instead of being turned away, we were happily welcomed! After taking a while to decide what to order, as everything looked amazing, I decided on a Super San: Turkey, roast beef, ham, and cheese. The appearence of this sandwich was stunning, filled with yummy meats and fresh produce. The first bite was YUM! Filled with flavor. My girlfriend (happy birthday!) ordered the roast beef sandwich. Hers was just as flavorful and yummy. We ordered a potato salad side and found it to be great and definately worth it. Very quiet, calm, relaxing place to have a date.

Good sandwiches on fresh bread. I usually get a salad with avocado as I am trying to be vegetarian. I have to have their ranch dressing

This place was a small family owned, which happen to be my favorite type of places. It had wonderful, friendly service, and delicious food. Business also has their own little history museum. Pretty cool, but sorry forgot to take pics of that 😔 but was able to capture the delicious food.

Local vibe and great sandwiches. You really don't need to know much more than that. With WWII and airplane memorability all over the walls, this felt like a local place in overdrive. The service was friendly and fast, and the sandwiches were plenty filling. The only thing that I wish were better -- and not worth losing a star -- is that this is cash-only establishment. We didn't realize that but fortunately, unlike usual, we had cash on hand.

Can I have to take my father-in-law's word for this he would just there and said it was awesome him and I like to cook together and like to eat so I'll have to take his word for it I'll see you there soon dad

Me and my wife came here on our way to Turtle Bay. We decided to stop here and get some food togo and eat by the water. This is a small shop located downtown Redding (about 10 mins away from Turtle Bay). The decor is interesting, lots of WW2 stuff and lots of military photos, i'm guessing the owner must have fought in the far. It was very cool. If you order the Tuna Sandwich you get a bowl of soup or salad with it. That is there (one) promotion. That is what i ordered and it was delicious! My wife ordered the California Sandwich and it was delicious as well! Price is $. Sandwiches are about $8 each. And the portions are large. I highly recommend this place.

The ambiance has a lot to be desired. It's almost like eating outdoors, indoors. The sammiches however, excellent and fairly priced. The staff is friendly. They don't take card yet tho.

I have been going to the Sandwichery for years for the quality, service and quaintness of the shop. The selection of bread, meat and vegetables is top notch and oh so fresh. I like the Californian (turkey & avocado) or their tuna with sprouts on marbled rye. The husband and wife duo have ordering and preparation down to a science. Also worthy of note is the gallery of vintage airplanes on display, along with magazines and newspapers to read while you enjoy your lunch. Don't forget the self serve pickle and pepper bar to compliment your magnificent sandwich!
