The menu looks pretty simple here. Tried number 6 teriyaki shrimp. Shrimps are not all deveined, which might be my personal preferences. Bit into a shrimp, and it was grainy like sand or something. Flavor is okay, not something I would go for again. Rice is cooked well. Fried cabbage and onions are just that nothing special. Got a coke Zero, and I've had before bit here it tasted different. I'm not sure if it's the syrup or what, but I didn't care for it.

It's assembled meals, definitely better than several places. Delicious, actually!!

My friend and I visited them a few days ago. We both got a number 1 and he got a large drink. First the food took over 20 minutes. While waiting my friend finished his drink and asked for a refill. We hadn't gotten our food yet and the menu doesn't mention refills. He was told, no refills, you need to buy a new drink. I followed up asking if he was serious. Noting it had been over 20 minutes, who doesn't ask for a refill.? The guy immediately packaged our food, shoved it at us, made no eye contact, and did not thank us. The food was mediocre. It was 98% cabbage and rice with very little meat. My friend (for real) vomited 45 minutes later, though I had no issues. Their menu is all teriyaki items, are they incapable of other sauces? It was overpriced, slow, and below average quality. Not worth a second look. They were jerks who skimp on food, take too long and have no refill policy. I promise had my friend not been blatino and had instead been female or Asian he would have got all the refills he wanted or at the very least a thank you for spending $30 at their mediocre mall food establishment.

Ate here for the first time today, it was delicious. Food is very well portioned as well as the price. The beef teriyaki is very tender and juicy, onions are nicely fried and the rice is perfect as well. The customer service was fast and quick as well as kind and funny. Great experience for the first time!

Ignored for 10 minutes trying to order, told it would take 10 minutes to make the order, waited another 30 minutes for order. A quick experience turned into an hour of waiting.

Though there are long wait times for the food, the food is really good and they’re very generous with their portions. I’m not kidding, they stuff the styrofoam box with as much food as can fit in it. I like the beef and chicken from here the best, though their other options aren’t bad as well. Overall, if you’re in a rush/have little time for a meal, maybe go elsewhere. But if you have at least an hour to kill, it’s a pretty good place to eat.

Food was terrible and if a restaurant could give less than the bare minimum; they would be the best. I ordered 4 items and recieved 2 one of which wasn't what I ordered. I would steer away from this place.

The staff is always friendly and they are quick to get orders out to you nice and hot.

really disappointed. i waited around thirty minutes before leaving without even being spoken to. one of the staff kept running across to the chinese gourmet and back without even acknowledging me and the people in front of me. the other was making up orders but kept running back and forth the the back (not bringing back anything just kinda running). now i get it, i work in the food industry as well but this is horrible customer service. very disappointed and even more so to see that i’m not the only one this has happened to. i didn’t even go on a weekend or anything, i went on a tuesday evening. i ended up going across the way to the chinese gourmet and got some food there.

Ordered the beef and shrimp and a cup of Miso soup. Made to order (spicy) and the food was delicious!

Good chicken and veggies with some spice.

Daughter wanted asian food and we needed some place close by our appointment. So she picked Sensei. Called it in drove over and it was ready pretty quickly. We all enjoyed the food and the order taker/cook/cashier was great!

Good curb-side service but a bit slow. Enjoyed tasty miso with tofu soup and sushi. There could be more ginger with the beautifully take -out packaged sushi. Also a first to pay $3.50 for soup broth; normally included with orders, elsewhere. It was a larger cup.

We used to love this place because the meat was so fresh and cooked so well but the last couple times we have gone we have been very disappointed. I love the taste of the teriyaki. The chicken has a lot of fat and cartilage in it. My daughter got the chicken with beef and shrimp. When she opened it, it had very little beef and shrimp. The shrimp had the tails left on it. When we used to get the same thing the tails were never left on. I won’t be going back because the quality has really gone down.

This place is great! Excellent service, the food is great, and portions are very generous! Xin was VERY nice and helpful. The food is cooked to order right after you order it. We've been looking for a good place for Chinese food here in Cruces and it looks like we should have just tried the Japanese place!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My boyfriend and I go here whenever we’re craving Japanese food. The best in Las Cruces, no exaggeration whatsoever. Fresh every time and SO flavorful. I have not had one bad experience there at all. Staff is excellent and kind.
