The food is consistently very good, especially the salads, falafel, and gyros and the price is reasonable. However, the service is inconsistent. We have breezed through lunch, been left hanging at the hostess desk, and barely made it to the theater across the street. If you're not on a time crunch, I absolutely recommend.

Just go! Staff was kind and attentive! Honestly, I went 40 minutes before closing time and was blown away. I had the Lamb Gyro with an added side greek salad & it was perfect. I mean freaking perfect. The pita tasted like it just came out of the oven, the meat just carved, and the lettuce could have been plucked from some hydroponic garden they had in the back. Everything was well seasoned, super tasty, hot & fresh. Being that I was their last customer of the day, it says a LOT about the place. Their preparation and care of the food being served is superb.

Dining out with a group can be a delightful experience, filled with laughter, good food, and cherished moments. However, our recent visit to [Santorini] turned out to be quite the opposite. With six adults and six babies in tow, we anticipated a lively gathering but were met with an atmosphere that felt unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. Arrival and First Impressions Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted not by warm smiles but rather by an air of indifference. The server’s demeanor suggested that our large party was more of a burden than a welcome addition. This initial interaction set the tone for the afternoon; it felt as though we were intruding rather than enjoying a meal in a public space designed for such gatherings. Service Challenges As we settled into our seats, it became apparent that accommodating our needs was not a priority for the staff. We requested high chairs for the babies, which is typically a standard request in family-friendly establishments. Instead of promptly providing them, we were met with hesitation and an almost dismissive attitude. The manager eventually approached us—not to apologize or offer assistance—but to inform us that if we planned to return in the future, we should make a reservation. This comment struck us as particularly ungracious. While we understand that reservations are often necessary for larger groups, it felt inappropriate to suggest this during our visit when we were already present and hoping to enjoy our time together. It left us feeling like unwelcome guests rather than valued customers. Atmosphere and Overall Experience The ambiance of [Santorini] could have been inviting; however, the service overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the surroundings. The lack of warmth from both the server and manager created an uncomfortable environment where laughter was stifled by feelings of being unwelcome. Dining out should be about creating memories and enjoying each other’s company over good food. Unfortunately, this experience did not allow for that; instead, it became an exercise in patience as we navigated through what should have been simple requests. Finally when ticketing out, requesting for a box, the server found it necessary to make a joke stating no, the food had to be eaten before leaving. What a mess.

I wish I could leave nigitive star because of the customer service and poor communication from the owner of the restaurant. The manager and the waiter was so rude no customer service at all walking around the tables talking to themselves with signs on their faces so mad. I ask for a meal she said we are out of shesh taouk they open at 11am I was there at 12:30pm not sure how possible they run out unless they don't make fresh meat. I asked for beef shawarma she said it's very good and fresh today after 20 minutes she came back and she said sorry we are out of this too you need to ask for something else. After that I asked to speak to the owner and she said he is busy cooking can't come and talk to you. I will never walk near this restaurant again. I never tried the food and maybe is good but the customer service and the owner communication is so poor specifically the manager zero customer service not professional at all. Nigitive ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I used to work at this restaurant back when it was on the other side of the Plaza. It's truly been a long time. I live in Austin now and I stop in every time I come home to visit. There is tons of Greek/Lebanese food here, but none of it is anywhere near as good as Charlie's. I'd seriously pay for your hummus and falafel recipe. I tried to find an email on your website so I could ask you for it, but no dice. That's how bad I want your hummus right now.

The food is delicious, but the service is consistently always bad. Been here a few times servers will never circle back around after food has been brought to the table for drink/water refill. they Also seemed bother/ not extremely friendly. Being quick for drink refills is a major indicator of how good a server is to me. They are also slow to bring the check too / they tend to forgot about you after they have taken your order and bring you food. feta, olives, and other condiments should come automatically with the food ( the prices are too high to not include things that are typically included with salad at other greek restaurants). Good food for expensive take out, would not recommend dine in. ( decoration doesn't make sense for a greek restaurant either)

Love the service, but got it to go. Maybe my fault but I missed a salad. I didn't check the bag and drove back to Alamogordo before I saw it. I'll do better next time...

I can’t speak to the food but we came in and the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hostess was beyond rude and treated us like a bother to her day. I had called earlier to inquire about dinner that evening and nothing was mentioned about needing a reservation. I also always look on the “good to know” section of Apple Maps and their website to see if it says anything about reservations. Nothing. There were two open tables (not reserved, the large one was, no problem, I understand that completely) and I asked if we could push them together or just sit side by side. She actually smirked at me and said no, unfortunately we couldn’t have those. Zero reason why. Eventually we left after being treated so poorly that I was embarrassed for her at being so obviously terrible at her job and having no idea what customer service or basic human kindness means. Sad to have missed what might have been good food but not worth it for such obvious lack of care for anything.

Great Greek and Lebanese food! The humus is great and the lamb gyro meat is fantastic! Tons of flavor! Seems like the space has had a previous life, but how that has a set up that makes it feel like a nice, clean restaurant that serves good food and is very inviting.

Slow service. Charged me for a salad when they gave it to me by mistake. And $8 for that salad? Good Lord.

I'm waiting to be seated at this restaurant and no one greeted me or acknowledged that I was waiting to be seated. These two women walk in and they're greeted and given a table within a minute of being there. A few minutes later, a couple walks in and they're greeted and are about to be given a table. I finally spoke up, and told them they didn't even acknowledge that I was there, but they greeted everyone else that came in after me. Their excuse was they thought I was "waiting to pick-up food." If that's the case, why didn't they speak to me when I walked in, like they did with the four customers that came in after me? I really can't think of a good reason why they ignored me, and everyone else was treated with a warm welcome.

They have the best food ever. The Hummus is to awsome! Great vegetarian options as well.

Ive been going to this restaurant for 5 years, one of our favorite restaurant until a rude waitress ruined the restaurant for us. We ordered almost 100$ worth of food for 3 people and they had nothing for kids. We were unaware of bringing food from a different place and we brought my niece chicken nuggets from chik-fil-a. Because they don't have any kids menu options and i don't recommend the restaurant if you have kids. Jocelyn (rude waitress) came over and yelled in front of other customers as if we knew it was policy and when my mom proceeded to apologize abt the food and explain her self she continued to yell and stating "i don't care". She was also being unprofessional and talking about us to another customer. She made us uncomfortable and others sitting uncomfortable people were coming to apologise for her actions and attitude. She said owner is gonna call to have us to the food out and her body language was very inappropriate she basically kicked us put. All she had to do is speak to us politely we would of understood and took the food out asap. I spoke with the manager (sarah) and let them know and she spoke with the owner. Its amazing restaurant very clean and delicious food i wish we didn't have to go through that experience. Jocelyn was rude, inappropriate and unprofessional. She Definitely ruined the place for us because i can never take my family there now and i can never be comfortable considering her attitude.

I was just there, a lil lunch rush it wasn’t that crazy, with a lot of workers in the back. The manager or who ever that guy was was the rudest experience I’ve ever seen i just witnessed him yell at one of his female Employees in front of the whole restaurant for no fault of hers. I left before even ordering. Unbelievably disrespectful manager hope that young lady doesn’t let it get to her.

We eat at Santorini all the time and it has always been good. I always get the falafel plate. Today I ordered it and the falafel were cold. I ate 2 of them and asked if they could reheat the others because they did not taste good. The waitress was extremely rude and said they can’t do that. I asked if they could make me another order. She said no unless I paid for both orders. We asked to talk to the manager and she said he would not come out. So my husband asked her the manager’s name and he went to the counter and called his name. Finally Charlie the manager came out and would not fix the situation. He said falafel is always served cold. I disagree I have eaten falafel at many restaurants.It is always served hot including usually at Santorini. It is disappointing that they were so extremely rude as it was one of my favorite restaurants. I was absolutely shocked that they made no effort at all to satisfy a customer’s wishes. I never give bad reviews. I keep it under the heading of lesson learned. However this was so outrageous I felt compelled to warn people.

I've been coming here for years and the food is always good. However I cannot say the same of the servers. I always tip good but do expect just a little customer service/interaction. My most recent visit was around 2:00pm after the lunch rush. There were only four tables with customers at this time. Recently, I always feel as if I am being rushed. The waitress ask me and my family what we wanted to drink before we sat down. There was someone cleaning the floor in my immediate area. Please do not sit me at a table where the area hasn't been cleaned. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma (Mini Platter) but asked for Hummus in lieu of the Tzatziki Sauce. Had to go to the front counter to complain about this because the servers were not attentive to the customers. The waitress gave me an attitude stating this is how the Platter is served. She asked if I wanted a side of Hummus, I told her no. I actually wanted the Hummus in lieu of the Tzatziki. A full side of Hummus is more than I wanted. My waitress finally checked on me and my family when we were just about finished. She immediately brought the check over without asking if we wanted desert or anything else. My bill was $38.99, I gave her $40.00 and she asked if I needed the change, I told her no. Just a quick news flash to the servers at Santorini, customers often tip accordingly. As for my waitress, Keep the change, you earned it.

The food was fantastic. Lamb was cooked as I requested. My two complaints were: 1) when we ordered, there were a lot of things they had run out of. How can you run out of falafel. Make some more! 2) When we requested a refill on our iced tea, the waitress said that they didn't want to make any more an hour before closing. My response should have been, well then, you're not charging us for it, are you?

I've eaten here for dinner 3 times but last night will be my last. Each time I wanted falafel but was told they "ran out". Here's an idea, how about making more? Last night I met several friends there and 2 arrived late, just after we ordered. When the waiter came back he was flustered and said he couldn't serve them because they sat down after the bulk of the table places their order. They left and it made no sense.

Wow, who knew Las Cruces had such good Greek food? Babaganoush particularly good as were the dolmades. The place was hopping on a Friday early evening. No idea where everyone parks. The staff was completely overworked by the huge number of patrons, yet the staff remained pleasant and efficient. Recommend highly, but hope they hire more staff for busy periods.

Redhead waitress at the front of the restaurant was extremely rude and disrespectful decided to leave and go a few doors down to voodoos. There was only one other customer in there, so they weren't busy literally restaurants next to them have 10x more customers.

I don't understand why they can't make regular rice for an option. That Cinnamon rice they have is gross. Why can't they switch out a lamb kabob for another chicken kabob? Why are they so chinsy with the Kalamata olives? They are not flexible at all!! Everything is No!! The food is good, though. The Baba Ganoush is delicious. The Greek salad dressing is too tart, and again, only two Olives? The restaurant decor and service is depressing 😕

This is definitely among the better mediterranean food I've had in recent memory. I've never had a kofta that was so flavorful. The server was attentive and professional. He owned up to a mistake he made rather than blaming it on the kitchen which I appreciated. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing! I'm usually on the fence about Greek food but this place showed me that it is wonderful. Everything was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. The mains were great, the sides were great, the service was great. I have no complaints at all. Definitely coming back!

This is an excellent restaurant. We traveled to Las Cruces for work and had several mediocre meals in the first couple of days. Then we ate at Santorini, what first stood out to me is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Then after I ordered the Lebanese platter, the waitress asked me how I wanted the lamb kebab done. First time I've ever eaten at a place where I could tell them Medium on a kebab. Usually you get whatever they decide they're going to cook them to. Everything came out cooked perfectly and was seasoned so well. The chicken was unbelievably tender, I gave a piece to the two coworkers with me and they were blown away by it. All 3 of us left saying, definitely coming back to this place again. If you like Mediterranean food, this place is a gem and likely one of the better restaurants in Las Cruces from my experience. 10/10 will be back next time I make a trip to Las Cruces. Don't change a thing please!!!

I thought it was a fancy restaurant inside. Come to find out it was very simple and the food was very unique to something I've never had. It wasn't explosive but it was very good in its soft subtle way. Will be going back. Prices are fair.

Best Mediterranean restaurant , you can’t skip this if you’re in Las Cruces area. Warm grape leaves , baba ghanoush , soft freshly made falafel, perfectly cooked lamb etc are really unique in taste. Friendly staff makes your experience a lot better. Now this one is in my must try list!

Great food, cool atmosphere and super friendly people. Wonderful Greek food options. Gyro meat can be purchased in quantities! They do not sell by the pound, but you can order 8 Gyro side orders, and that ends up being around 2 lbs, for best prices in our region. They also have very large catering trays available. Right across from the university.

Wow! The food was amazing! Hummus and the chicken soulvaki was to die for! The perfect amount of garlic! And the portions are huge. I ordered small everything and it was enough for two. I am so happy I was craving Greek while driving through town. I will be back the next time I am driving though.

Fake corporate food, small uninspiring portions. My chicken shawarma wrap wasn't actually shawarma it was flavorless slices of chicken with some lettuce n 2 tomatoes slices. My husband's souvlaki platter was salty chunks of beef with tasty rice n salad. Our lentil soup was pretty good, just basic lentils in a drink cup. Will not return.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! The hummus and kabobs (lamb and chicken) were amazing! I’ve never had such wonderful rice. I wish I had the recipe. Our server was so sweet. We also had the baklava and pudding and they were delicious. The Greek salad was good too.

We picked up food to go for lunch. There was nothing "wrong" with service or food, but nothing stood out as over and above. The atmosphere reminded me of a cafeteria, but we would def go there again to eat inside so our food would be hot(ter) and fresh(er).

Taste was good, for this town. But i think it made us ill. Both felt like death after eating.. maybe it was something else, but i doubt it.

The platters are the best choices for us. Good portion and a fantastic way to sample the various meat items. Salad was not impressive, but pita was good.

Man, this place has the best baba ganoush! Honestly, everything is really very good. I usually get the lamb gyro. We also go dolmadas, which were super tasty! My partner got the chicken skewers with garlic sauce, and really, just try it. The garlic sauce is intense, but sooooo good. If you're a garlic fan, this will absolutely be your jam. Service was great, waitress recommended the chicken and she was not wrong!

Everything was fantastic here. The perfect service, the food, the food, and especially the food. Family enjoyed it and kids asked if we can come back next time we come to Cruces. I wish I could tried everything on the menu this visit. Definitely will be back.

We had gyros -- one lamb, one chicken -- and fries. Everything was delicious! Fries were perfectly crisp outside and soft inside, hot and fresh. The pitas were soft, lightly (perfectly) chewy, and so fresh. The meat was tender, juicy, and wonderfully seasoned. Our waitress was great, the dining room was super clean. A really great experience and looking forward to going back to try other dishes.

I think our waitress was Wendy; I can't remember for sure, but I have to give high compliments to her. Her snarky (in a good way) attitude was the highlight of our evening, she made the dinner experience memorable and enjoyable; and the food was good too. Highly recommend!

Had the chicken schwarma, rice, hummus and baklava and it was amazing!

We moved to Las Cruces recently and needed to find a place to have a small catered lunch. It was for a bday party for about 14 people. I called and spoke with Sarah who was really nice. I ended up going in to speak with her. The restaurant looks so much nicer on the inside, very clean, and the smell of the food was so mouthwatering! Sarah was extremely helpful with creating the menu and pricing it out for me. Upon picking up the order, everything was ready on time and well packaged. It smelled so good, it was a tough 15 min drive home with all that food in the car. The great reveal was not disappointing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and there was more than enough to go around, take homes and leftovers for the rest of the week. The meal items: - Falafel: Never had a falafel dish taste so good! They are also the biggest I've ever had. - Hummus: Beautiful presentation, very fresh and light. - Greek salad: The most abundant dish, too many olives (personal opinion because I do not like Olives). - Spanakopita: they are LARGE and very hearty. Great balance of spinach to cheese. - Lamb gyro: Outstanding! Well seasoned and I like the way it was sliced - smaller slices than the average. - Chicken gyro: Juicy, very well balanced flavor considering it was more chicken breast in smaller pieces. - Beef keftedes: all the beef-eaters loved! - Rice: I quite enjoyed the flavoring in the rice. Will definitely be back and I definitely recommend!

We have been coming here for many years now. Recently, a waitress named Summer was very rude to us. This seems to be a common trend with a lot of the servers here. I recommend the food, but be ready to deal with servers who do not seem like they want to be there. Also if you order food to go make sure you go as you can not eat it there. Per management.
